I was appreciative of TemperaturePro coming out quickly to fix my HVAC unit during a very hot day. However, outside of the service call charge, the pricing was not transparent upfront and literally doubled while the technician was fixing the unit ($90/lb. for refrigerant became $180/lb, and another much more expensive product also doubled as well ~ hmm?). I was also charged for an extra pound of refrigerant that the tech shared he wouldnt charged me for. I was not shown the details of the service order when checking out, nor was I initially sent an invoice. When I inquired about the invoice the next business day with the office and requested a breakdown of pricing and questioned a charge, although apologetic, nothing changed, and in fact, I was informed I was somehow getting a deal. Overall, the experience did not feel right and I believe I got taken for a ride.

Let me say first that my furnace was giving me issues in 2018. I called three contractors for estimates on replacing the furnace. Two insisted I needed to replace the entire HVAC system. Only the Temperature Pro General Manager, Scott, told me there was only a minor issue with the furnace and no need to replace the entire system. He saved me thousands in unnecessary work. It was from that encounter that I contacted Temperature Pro when I was ready to replace the system this year. I worked with Scott to find the best HVAC system for my condo. He gave me several options that would be suitable. When I selected the system, I also added a humidifier and duct cleaning. The air ducts were cleaned the day before the installation. Andrew and Ryan arrived promptly and immediately got to work. The put down drop cloths and wore PPE, including shoe covers, during the installation. When they were ready to leave, they left the areas where they worked spotless. I’m very pleased with their professionalism and dedication in the installation process. The next day, Scott came out to inspect the work. He made some minor adjustments and explained the warranty information. He made sure I understood how to operate the new system and to just call them for repairs, if needed. I highly recommend Temperature Pro for your reasonably priced heating/cooling needs and their affordable maintenance plans.

Great company!! Very professional and efficient. My AC went out on the hottest of days in the summer. I called figuring it would be weeks until someone Would be able to come out. The guy was here within a few hours and had us back in the cool air by end of the day.

My Water heater was leaking everywhere and I called Temperature Pro of Mokena. They came out same night within the hour 9:00 at night to make sure it was safe and calmed me down because I was a nervous wreck. The very next day on New Years Eve they ended up replacing my water heater. They were very thorough in explaining everything to me as well as very professional, smooth work with no issues at all .....super responsive. I could call anytime day or night and I always get great customer service and from someone that actually cares! They installed my furnace as well a few years ago with the same great service. If you want great prompt service with that bonus of amazing customer service...I would highly recommend you call TemperaturePro Heating hands down a great company to deal with.

Jesse was professional and knew what he was doing, great tech. but I will tell you im very aggravated by your business practices. I keep recommending you guys. and I call with warranty work on a unit and I see a tech 2 weeks later. last year when I called and was paying for a service call, a tech was out later that day. now I have to wait two more weeks for another appointment. the way I see it, if you give a nice warranty on a unit and that customer recommends you all a time, you Should put them as a priority and not put them to the back burner and schedule them 2 or 3 weeks later. I recommended you to someone and they called and because they were a paying for the service You were right out. im finding it hard to reccomend them

I was very happy with this service beginning to end! I wanted my furnace tuned up and got that plus a very pleasant experience. Amanda took our appointment, called the day before as a reminder and we even were able to track our technician while he was on his way - I really like the picture and short description of who he was as well. He wore booties cleaned up nicely after himself and was very knowledgeable.

The tech, Edger, came out and did a fantastic job servicing our gas fireplace. Was extremely thorough and went over everything that could have possibly been an issue. When he found the problem and it was a quick fix he didn’t try to up sell me on any services and just did what was needed. Will definitely be using them again.

Very happy with my experience with Temperature Pro Mokena! I really like the text when the technician was on his way that gave me a short bio, a photo, and GPS tracker so I knew his ETA. They arrived within the designated window, wore masks and foot coverings, which I appreciated, and were very respectful and professional. Jonathan caught something with our refrigerant and said it would be $175 - my hubs and I agreed that if he felt it needed it that he could do what he needed. After he cleaned it he was happy with the levels and how it was running so he didnt touch the refrigerant so he didnt have to charge us the $175. I really appreciated his honesty and not charging us! Looking forward to our furnace tune-up in the fall, thank you!

Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and left me with the warm and fuzzy feeling that my furnace was in good hands. He stepped me through all of the signs of age and wear that my furnace was showing and alerted me of possible degradation. After, the inspection and cleaning of my furnace he stepped me through possible furnace replacements i could consider in the future if my furnace were to stop working. He broke down pricing structure and went through all pf the pros and cons of each choice. When Jeremy left, i felt more informed and very satisfied with the service. A+ would recommend.

Not only were they able to get someone out to my house within a couple of hours of my call on a Sunday (day after 4th of July at that), their technician was 15min early for the service! I wanted to get an estimate for a new ac unit and A coil. The technician was misleading with his information plus they were $1000 over price compared to other companies. Would not recommend.

My furnace went out last night and Temperature pro was able to come within a couple of hours. They tried fixing it that night and couldn’t but were back right away the next morning and everything was completed by 9 AM. The cost was very reasonable and certainly beats paying the full price of a new furnace. Kevin was very professional and friendly and did a great job. I would certainly recommend them.

My husband, Ryan self diagnosed problem and was looking for $18 capacitor part after hours for our renters AC that went out. Offered them $100 and to drive to one of their trucks for the part and when they refused we asked how much the Technician would cost and wouldn’t disclose. Instead $480 bill, did not disclose breakdown of fees, was already diagnosed and took less than 15 minutes in the town they operate out of. We will never use them again for any of our properties and will advise others to do the same. They took advantage of the situation and were not honest.

After being told by a previous company that my only option was a full replacement of my boiler system Scott from TemperaturePro came and looked over this situation. Not only did they beat the price for a full installation by the company I had used for almost 20 years but he went over repair options and pointed out that not only could it be done but the financial savings of doing that. Scott and Kevin came out and completed all the repairs and parts replacements we had agreed on and when my upstairs radiator would not heat after the repair came back three separate times to make sure they got it going. I cant say enough about the honesty in the quotes vs trying to make a quick buck off a full install and the level of customer service both Scott and Kevin gave even after the repair was complete to make sure that everything was 100%. I look forward to using TemperaturePro in the future.I recently had the pleasure of Edgar coming out to service my system after changing over to Temperature Pro for my boiler system. Edgar was great, pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and made sure to go over all the work he had completed as well as the status of my system before he was done. I couldn’t recommend Temperature Pro enough or Edgar.

I recently needed my AC serviced I called temperature Pro the tecnician that came out (Kevin) was very knowledgeable he fixed the problem and was super honest with me about my system and the condition it was in. Everything he explained happened. Because he gave such an honest assessment of my system I used them to replace my AC and my furnace as both were in similar condition. Scott came out and helped me chose the rite system for my home. I could not be any more pleased with their work and care they took in replacing both systems they did a phenominal job. I call this company out twice for service and they got my AC running both times for a short period of time. The company is extremely expensive. On one occasion the technician came out and informed me that he cleaned my unit and serviced the AC unit, however $900.00 later the unit was still not working. I called Climate Master Mechanical Contractors, Inc. and had the unit service again and one part was replaced it took the guy 20 minutes and I havent had any issues with the AC unit. The new service guy showed me how dirty the AC was and informed me that I would need the AC cleaned, but wait Temperature Pro just charge me $900.00 for a AC cleaning. Crazy

TemperaturePro was on time for my service call and was able to fix my furnace quickly and for a fair price. Very easy to communicate with this company and the entire staff is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs!

This company ripped us off for $79.00They charged an extra $79.00 to our debit card WITHOUT our authorization!After we paid on the agreed amount.!Dont use this ripoff company. Our technician Jeremy was very good and did a good job, no complaints about him. It was The Boss Scott who insisted we pay $79.00 more than the agreed price. His manner on the phone is very sarcastic and unprofessional.... Fraudulent business practices.I recieved a call from the owner Jason today 12/31/19, he apologised to me for what occurred. And he assured me that they wouldnt charge us the $79.00 dollars, that I didnt authorize and any fee for the second service call we made later the same night of the incident. (We came home later that night to a home filled with gas fumes), Thats why we called them back out).Thank you Jason for your understanding and customer service. I suggested to him that he hire more employees like Jeremy, who was very courteous and helpful on both service calls after working over 12 hrs. That day. We appreciate him as well.As for Scott, the manager, my advice is to treat customers like you care, and be professional in your manner. That way you might keep your customers. They came out same day during the timeframe they promised. Took them some time to diagnose the problem, but furnace is working well now. Appreciated that they covered their shoes while walking through the house.

Technician Tyron Blew my circuit board due to an incorrect igniter installation on a single digit night and acknowledged he did it but wanted me to pay a $250 after hours fee for someone to open the parts shop to get the replacement main board if I wanted it that night or it would be at no charge if I wait until the morning. Wasnt going to pay $250 so I reluctantly waited until the morning. Next day, same tech Tyron was their 4 hours more causing me to loose my dental appointment and needed to escalate because furnace was now doing something completely different and not starting. Escalation tech Scott came over with a silent attitude like I was the issue but after a hour of further troubleshooting, found the new cheap aftermarket circuit board they used by the way instead of Bryant original had been improperly installed by one wire. Then, they forget to bolt down the exhaust which could have popped off at any time and killed someone. Called and got escalation manager Scott on phone and said they would come back and install the missing screws and would not be a charge only if I didnt install and other parts? Never ever again.Reply to owners response bellow: Sir, it was exactly as stated. It was presented as either wait until the morning or I pay a $250 fee to have someone open the parts supplier location you use. Tyron actually called someone prior to relaying these options to us. My wife was there also and confirmed this is what was said. Also, If your policy is not to render service to a dismantled igniter then why did he? Nothing was said to that.You can sugar coat and rebut everything I said in my review but as most know in these situations, its just a face saving PR measure to shift blame and discredit the customer. I assure you I wouldnt have wasted my time with this review if these events werent true. The worst part is not one but two techs left with the exhaust being unsecured to the furnace which could have came off at any time and killed someone but Scott was doing nothing but giving me a second attitude and implying another service charge to come out and install the exhaust screws the next day I called. Im sorry but given all these events and a lost dental appointment, the service should have been no charge. I have worked in a technical field for 25 years also and customer recovery is just as, if not more important.

My furnace completely broke down yesterday morning. I called TemperaturePro Chicago SW and they had a tech out to me by 10AM. I had mentioned my son happened to be home sick from school this day and they rushed the tech over. We received great customer service from start to finish! The technician was amazing and very personable. He took the time to explain and give me various repair/sales options and did not pressure me to buy anything I didnt want/need. I would reccemend this business to everyone . I am more for quality than anything especially with a furnace. I wouldnt want just anyone working on something that could potentially be a danger to my family and they really made me feel good about my decision in going with them. :)
