The great reviews are true! I had a great experience with this Meineke from start to finish. They were very responsive to an online estimate request and gave me a very reasonable price. Unlike the other shops I called that were 2-3 weeks out and unfriendly, these folks were able to get me in within a few business days and were friendly and professional. And they worked great with my insurance and provided them with what they needed right away. They’re at the top of my list when I need my vehicles serviced in the future!

Took a couple days to get in but that’s understandable these days. Once they got the truck into the shop they were quick to diagnose and resolve the issue. The price of the fix seemed reasonable as well. Will definitely be back for further repairs if necessary.

I go to Mieneke on Russell exclusively for my oil changes and inspections as well as any other work I need done. They are always so kind to me when Im there. As a young women, it is easy for car shops to attempt to take advantage of me. I have never had these issues here. If something requires attention they take the time to explain the issue, why its important to fix, explain my options, and often show me the issue. I have never had a bad experience here!

While on a road trip our tire blew out, and none of the local shops had our cars tire size in stock. They were able to order the correct size and get it in in a day or so.Unfortunately the warehouse delivered the wrong size, so we had to wait an extra day. All of the staff was super apologetic, and able to discount our service to help off set the cost of staying an extra night. They were very generous and helpful with correcting the mistake. Along with this the staff was kind, professional, and did an excellent job on the car itself.

They were super awesome trying to find out why the air conditioning part that was put in by someone else wasn’t working. Took it in there a second time and they were upfront about what the cost could be and rather than force me to fix it gave there own time at no charge to relook at everything. Thanks

By using Meineke instead of Lithia Toyota I save a ton of money. Without even looking at the truck, Toyota said it was the A/C Condenser and it needed to be replaced. I wanted a 2nd opinion so I brought my Tundra to you. It turned out to be a very simple problem. It was diagnosed and repaired quickly and I was informed about everything they were doing. I was very impressed by my whole experience.

I can’t say enough about this team! I made an appointment for what I thought was faulty breaks or break pads. Within a few minutes they called me and told me I was good to go. I certainly could have easily been roped into paying hundreds of dollars, but they gave me a really honest review and I left without paying ANYTHING. I will certainly return here when it IS time!

Meineke in Missoula has been our go-to shop for years. The staff are conscientious, courteous, caring, and go out of their way to make things right if anything is amiss (they are human, after all). The Meineke customer program has saved us lots of money and aggravation. And to top it off they have the cleanest customer restroom around.

Called a week earlier and gave my vehicle description and knew I needed muffler to the rear replaced. Zach gave me a verbal over phone and quoted 450. I had to cancel last week due to some scheduling issues with vehicle. I rebooked and arrive today after talking to Sam last week. When I arrived, Sam had in the system a Chevy Silverado… Zach obviously put in wrong info or guessed at the rebooking. I arrived and I have no parts and I am also being quoted for the same thing I asked for last week from muffler to the rear. Now Zach quoted me 607.14. Zach needs some coaching in confirming vehicle and talking to the customer and taking responsibility in the error. He made no apology for his error or showed any reason to keep me as a customer. I’m working on another week out and also someone else to do the job…

My experience was excellent. I had two power steering lines replace and oil changed. The parts had to be ordered. They even loaned me a vehicle to drive while the work was being done. The people I worked with were very nice. I would recommend this Meinekie to others.

I took my truck in knowing I had a thermostat out. I had them do a full inspection on the vehicle since it had 143,000 miles on it. They gave me back a large list of repairs needing to be done to the vehicle one of which included a “cracked” coolant tank and a coolant tank cap which needed replacing. The quote was for around $1200. I then took my truck to another shop to double check Meineke’s inspection. The “cracked” coolant tank turned out to not be cracked and wasn’t leaking at all and did not need a replacement, I only needed a cap. This other shop even took my coolant tank out filled it with liquid and let it sit overnight to test if it was leaking it wasn’t. Meineke was trying to charge me $400 for a $2 repair by lying to me about the condition of my coolant tank.

Great service, professional and reasonable. I would highly recommend their services for anyone looking for car service/maintenance.

Had my Tundra towed here for a second opinion from another place in town who claimed it needed a new brake master cylinder. They worked on the truck immediately upon arrival and simply had to bleed the brakes correctly for $39 to fix the problem. Saved me almost $500 and a week in the shop. Excellent, honest service- specifically worked with Sam.

My car A/C stopped working, they replaced all the top o-rings and shredder valves, and added a fluorescent dye to the freon in case it leaks again. Every mechanic in town was booked solid for 1-2 weeks even Meineke, but they squeezed me in! They listened to any and every question I had while also taking the time to explain their answers resulting in my worries being eased. Not only that but they found the issue and I even told my dad and he said “that’s an honest mechanic”.

Zack and Sam worked my overheating minivan into their schedule promptly. They offered me a loaner car which allowed me to take care of my other tasks while my car was in repair. I called and asked if they could install some brake pads I got online. They said sure!Zach at the front desk was very helpful, and once they took the car for a test ride, they let me know that the new pads alone wouldnt solve the problems Ive been having. I took their advice and had the rotors replaced as well since they had them right there in stock (no ordering quickly from Napa like Midas does).They had the car done pretty quick and maybe even a little under the estimated time. Waiting wasnt a big deal with the nice big lobby and preview channel with TV clips and car tips. So far it gives a smooth, controlled stop! Time will tell how long and well they perform, but as of now Im very satisfied! Thanks Meineke.

I am well pleased with the service I received at Meineke Car Care. The technicians are very knowledgable and stated turn around time was accurate. I was kept well informed on progress. I dont expect any more trouble with the area they worked on.

I’m satisfied with every aspect of service except for one:I needed to leave my car longer while a part was ordered and was told I’d get a phone call to let me know what was happening or when car was done. If you tell someone you’ll call, make that call even if it’s to tell them the repair isn’t finished.

I had an electrical problem with my fan motor for my heater.

This was my first experience with Meineke in Missoula and I am very satisfied.The two men I dealt with - Sam and Zach, I believe - were courteous and respectful. They got my car in within 24 hours and discovered that the issue could be solved with a very simple and inexpensive fix. I appreciate that they didn’t try to convince me of greater problems with greater costs... something that has happened to me at other shops. I will not hesitate to return to Meineke with any future problems that I or my husband can’t address.

Nice place to have work done on your car. Every time I’ve been there, they took care of me and got me out of there when they said they would. I had my used truck checked out by them before I bought it and they told me what all would need to be done. I’ve taken my truck back there to have them do the bigger jobs. They aren’t mean if they tell you your brakes should be changed and you thank them and tell them you want to DIY.Also, once you get work done if you give them your email address, they’ll send you coupons (I got a 20% off any service one 🙌).Good guys and worth the drive from the Bitterroot.

Had a part replaced on my car which was expensive and took some time to get. They set me up with a card which gave me 6 months to pay off. They also provided a loaner and elevated much of my stress. Zach and Sam went out their ways to make sure that I knew what was happening and did an excellent job on the repairs.

I wish I could give zero stars for my service at Meineke. I have talked with many friends and my experience is nothing unusual. I am a nineteen year old girl and own a 1971 Ford pickup. I usually do all the work myself but was having an ignition problem I couldnt solve. I had it towed to the wrong address and the truck driver assured me that Meineke would do a good job. To put it lightly, he was wrong. The looked at it and determined the problem was the ignition coil. It wasnt. Then they replaced my distributor WHICH I HAD ALREADY REPLACED with an upgrade and then they kept and sold the part while charging me another $330 for replacing it. That didnt fix the problem. They didnt give me the old part back. I told them I was taking it somewhere else and they insisted I give them another chance and so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. The third time they quoted me $660 to replace the entire carburetor because a piece was missing. I looked up the cost for a new carburetor. Its $200. They were going to charge me $400. I didnt have the money so I decided to fix it myself and when I asked them what the actual problem was, the answer was so ambiguous I became completely convinced of their ineptitude. I took it home and I kid you not fixed the problem myself for $10 and help from a neighbor. Never take your car here regardless of whether you drive a vintage truck (which supposedly the mechanic has worked on for years) or not. I have friends who have had terrible experiences just getting an oil change there. They are the absolute worst car shop I have ever dealt with.

I originally went into Meineke for an oil change as they had a half-off deal on KPAX. Since then I havent taken my car anywhere else. They are extremely professional, helpful, and kind. They take the time to thoroughly check everything and explain it to you without pressuring you to buy anything. Their prices are better than anywhere else as is the service.
