Moved here as newlyweds and we love it! Staff are extremely nice, community super friendly and apartments are gorgeous and have an excellent space. We feel like home, we are comfortable and wouldn’t want to rent anywhere else!
Management actually listens and putting in service requests for maintenance works very well. Quick and responsive for fixing any problems I had. After dealing with all of the other property management companies here in Missoula I am very impressed with Copper Run’s management. I love the area and we have a beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. Full of trees and plants and is overall clean. Very pet friendly and neighbors seem nice. Glad I went with Copper Run for my apartment.
Staff have a bad attitude and do not care for your business! I have heard staff in the clubhouse talk bad about other tenants when they weren’t around. Please do your research before renting from copper run! It’s way over priced for the market, the maintenance team knows little to nothing when it comes any type of repair! We have waited months and months for them to actually fix something!! Copper run charges $200 for “amenities”, which is insane you could be a member at a very nice country club for that price!! Don’t let their amenities fool you, for the year plus I have lived at copper run ALL the amenities are closed for repair or just not open at all. When copper run doesn’t allow their tenants to use the amenities, trust me they will still charge EVERYONE in full!!! But the last straw copper run pulled on ALL of their tenants is selling their company to out of state company during a global pandemic!! Copper Run allowed someone from out of state to walk through ALL of their tenants unit.(Even though that was against Montana State Law) You should’ve realized how unsafe that was! If anyone wants proof on any of this, I will prove it to you and more... With that being said stay away from copper run!
I love this apartment. The office ladies are so amazing. They are always so helpful and do everything they can to make life easy for us. They are super friendly with our dog whenever we bring him in. The management is awesome and they do such a great job at keeping the apartments looking so nice. Everything is clean and well kept. I always suggest people to check them out. They are by far the best apartment I’ve lived at. I 110% recommend them!!
This place is great! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The apartments themselves are really nicely redone! The outdoor deck was great and the neighborhood was awesome! Centrally located but quiet still and walking distance to the grocery store! Super happy about this place and Alex was really the kindest leasing agent I’ve worked with. If you need a place to live, this place is worth it :)
This is an awesome place to live! The girls working in the office are extremely helpful. Any questions or concerns you have, or if you’re needing help with anything! It has nice amenities and it allows you to have your furry friends! ❤️ The apartments are well kept and very spacious. 👍🏻
I have had a very positive experience at Copper Run as a resident. The premises are very well maintained and the amenities are wonderful, especially the pool in the summer and exercise room. If I had any problems the maintenance staff were very helpful and tackled it right away. The apartments are very nice with great appliances. The location of the complex is very convenient, next to many stores in the North Reserve area (with Albertsons directly across the street). There is also easy access to public transportation with Mountain Line bus stops a short walk away. The office staff is friendly as well!
What an awesome place to live! The amenities are great - we LOVE the jacuzzi especially. The staff are awesome and super helpful and always go the extra mile! I have a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom and it is the perfect living space. I would highly recommend.
Copper Run - it has been a pleasure living there. The place has a great location, and is quiet, yet friendly. The staff is great, and the maintenance team is always quick to fix any issue. I enjoy living here and would highly recommend. Thanks for all you do....
Building numbers are impossible to see at night. Light them up please, delivery drivers nightmare.
Copper Run is a great place to live! The staff is always available to help with needs and are super friendly and welcoming. I love everything about it here!
If there are no other options for housing, its at least a roof over your head
I have recently moved to the area and after looking at many, many apartment complexes I decided on Copper Run for several reasons. Let me start by talking about the office staff. One word Amazing. All of them very helpful, responsive and caring. Not what I was expecting. Also a super dog friendly community with many other great amenities. Super close to everything you need. The apartment was clean and updated. You must check out Copper Run if you are moving to Missoula.
The people who work here really do care about every resident. I would recommend Copper Run to anyone looking for a place to live in Missoula, it’s such a great community!
The location is fantastic. Anything I need is either within walking distance or a 5 minutes drive. You have access to downtown within minutes without the closed-in feel of being in the middle of town. I really enjoy the amenities and the hours are very schedule friendly. They offer a wide variety of ways to rent or engage the different recreational features, whether it be the patio for a family get together, the living room with full kitchen, a theater room, and even a year round hot tub. The neighbors tend to be friendly and you get to know the people around you. Ive never had concerns about crime or theft in this community. They are diligent in yearly maintenance and are very accommodating if you have any issues. You could probably find places cheaper, but you wont find a better value for all that you get from Copper Run. I plan to stick around for quite a while.
We have lived at Copper Run for 2 years. The experience has been great. Apartments are wonderful for retirees. The maintenance and amenities ate just great. Glad we chose to live here
Awesome apartments, Nice management, high quality appliances, and within walking distance to a plethora of restaurants and stores. Been living here for over a year and I still have no complaints.
Stainless steel appliances, very helpful staff and really great maintenance. Always a great place to live and chill. Best place I have ever lived and thats no lie.
Would not recommend! Property management does a horrible job maintaining the overall well being of the property. Hot tub is always covered in leaves! Property management also will enter your apartment without giving a 24hr notice, even though under the Montana Residential Landlord and Tenant Act, a landlord must provide a 24hr notice unless an emergency. Also parts of their lease violates Montana State Law! Would not rent from Copper Run Again!
I have had a wonderful experience with Copper Run. The on-site management has been amazing and extremely helpful, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. For pet owners, the apartment complex is very pet friendly. The rooms are of both great value and of great quality, and the addition of the in-unit washing machine and dryer are a nice perk. In the clubhouse/welcome center, they have some really nice facilities to take advantage of (pool + hot tub, workout room, coffee + cookies, theater, tv lounge, and a business center with computers and wi-fi). Parking has never been a problem, and the community has all been friendly. Groceries and shopping are nearby on Reserve Street, while the location is also convenient for heading to the downtown area, not to mention the numerous hiking and other outdoor activities within just a short drive around Missoula.
Ive lived at Copper Run since 2012 and Ive had a really great experience. The management have been helpful and whenever I had a maintenance request, it got done very quickly. I also have pets and they (the management and maintenance people) are awesome with them (even my neurotic cat). Yes, the rent is pretty high but for me its worth it.
Absolutely loved this place. My fiance and I are moving in soon, and Crystal has been so helpful throughout the process and continues to be extremely helpful with any questions or concerns that we have had. And the property is amazing and comes with tons of amenities. The fitness center and theatre room were both big in comparison to other properties weve looked at. The pricing is pretty good for what you get. Definetly recommend getting an apartment here as long as its in your price range. Overall, amazing place.
This was my first home in Missoula, and my first experience with apartment living, and it proved an great introduction to both. Leasing and moving in was simple and painless, the staff is super friendly and responsive (and all gorgeous!), maintenance requests are always handled quickly and well (sometimes by a handsome ginger with a dreamy mustache!), and having all the amenities (hot tub, pool, movie theater, business center) at hand is awesome. Overall, living here was a good experience, pleasant and convenient. And when it came time to move out, we got a fair amount of our deposit back. Would recommend.
Ive been at Copper run for about 5 years across two apartment units (moved from a single to a double) and Ive been very happy with my experience here! The staff are friendly and always willing to help out, maintenance requests get taken care of immediately, and the grounds are always kept in good condition with frequent little improvements like new paint and new door lights. For being one of the busiest areas of Missoula, its surprisingly quiet. Neighbors will occasionally be a bit noisy, but thats just part of apartment life. For anyone looking for 2-bedroom apartments in particular, Id say this is definitely one of the best places in town!
I am a lawyer here in Montana, I have read over Copper Run’s lease due to a friend having legal issues with them. After reading and reviewing their lease, do not rent from them. There’s a few violations with tenants rights on their lease, according to Montana State Law
On the whole, living at Copper Run has been a pretty positive experience. The management and staff are super friendly, they love our dog, and the amenities dont hurt either (I love the coffee in the morning and the package service!). Theres always parking, and there are dog poop bags and garbage cans for disposal conveniently near every building. Even this sometimes isnt encouraging enough for others to pick up after their dogs, so watch your step when youre in the grass. The units are paint grade, which means the build isnt super high quality and noise gets through pretty easily. If you care about noise, definitely consider paying a little more for an apartment on the top floor, and also consider whether youll be adjacent to a busy street like Mullen. I live on a top floor corner unit and even I hear the people below me. Ive never had a noise complaint in my life as I live a pretty quiet existence, but the people below us have complained multiple times. The unit itself is nice and roomy, and easy to clean, and I noticed some of the other units are getting updated with hardwood laminate flooring, which will make it even easier. The location itself is super convenient. Its nice to be only a few minutes walk away from the Albertsons or Target.Edit: We moved out at the end of May 2017. We cleaned and scrubbed as well as we could, but even after our move-out date, they gave us another opportunity by letting us know wed missed a few spots (loose coffee grounds or crumbs in the cupboard, a thing or two left in storage), and were welcome to return in the next day or so to clean those, before the final walk-through. We received our statement within the following month. Maggie was super helpful and prompt in sending everything along, and the charges were reasonable ($100 for a carpet repair when our dog was new and anxious and ripped up the edge of our carpet, $20 to replace the drip pans in the stove, and $75 for additional cleaning).
Im feeling very mixed about reviewing this place. I loved the layout of my apartment and it was in a nice location, but the management was terrible. My first year living there, neighbors moved in above me who were ridiculously loud. I repeatedly asked the manager to do something about it, and shed merely reply, Its just normal apartment noise. They say theyre being quiet, so its your word against theirs. Finally it got so bad I told the manager I could no longer live there (I was not getting any sleep at all because there was always someone stomping around upstairs) and the manager offered to let me out of my lease if I wanted to move into a different apartment in the complex. I did, at my own expense, and that apartment was blissfully quiet.Fast-forward to when I moved out.... I left the place immaculate, save the catch trays on the stove (which were not bad; a competent cleaner could have gotten them as good as new, and I would have scrubbed them myself had I not had literally five more minutes to turn in my keys). The manager charged me $40 for those, as well as $5 for every burned out light bulb and an odorcide. I left no odors. My husband steam-cleaned the carpets before we left just to make sure they couldnt screw us over with claims of irreparable stains (and I made sure to let the manager know Id taken pictures). Well, I guess since you cant smell through pictures, they thought theyd get me that way. Moreover, the lease Id been going by had a mistake on the date, so when I organized my final move-out date, it was a month off from the forgivable 30-day-from-lease-end date, so I was told Id be required to pay around $1400 to break my lease. Id already made arrangements, so there wasnt much I could do at that point. Two weeks after my move, I called to ensure they were sending me my final statement, and the manager offered to change the terms--I could pay my last months rent plus a $500 fee to advertise the unit on Craigs list instead of paying the lease-breaking fee. I told her I was not interested.Shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail that a package had arrived for me at the office. Well, I guess no one told the newbie there that I was no longer in that unit, but it seems pretty evident that someone else had already been moved in. This would mean they were double-charging for the unit, which is illegal. Moreover, I find it extremely underhanded that I was given that second offer when there obviously was no need to list the place. To add insult to injury, the final statement I received was a threatening letter informing me I had two weeks to set up payment arrangements before management sent my file to collections. I sent a letter offering a payment arrangement, only to receive a call stating the terms I suggested were unacceptable. Given all Ive gone through at that place, I say theyre lucky I sent them anything at all.
I rented from Copper Run for a year and was impressed by their services. They were more than reasonable with regard moving out and fair with my return deposit. I worked with Jillian Poole and I highly recommend her.
I enjoy living at CopperRun everyone is very friendly an helpful the office employees are the nicest If I need any help they are there for me. The grounds are always cleaned up. I just want to say THANK YOU
Not a well kept apartment complex and unprofessional staff. Not too impressed with my living experience here. Expensive!
I lived here for five years. Great experience! The office staff are great to work with.
The amenities are great, the prices are seductive, and from what I recall the management staff is reasonable; but the whole block of buildings literally smells like flaming crap half the time. I could never get over it, glad to be gone
Rented here at first because staff was friendly and pets were allowed as well as the apartments having an outdoor space, but upon moving in, we found many problems. Maintenance guys knew next to nothing about fixing various things in apartments and had to have them constantly come back because they would half ass something, like fixing the doors, which would obviously break again because they werent fixed properly. The ventilation is bad as well as really bad sound barriers between apartments, and after leaving( we were told we didnt need to be there for a physical walk through), they sent us a bill for a completely brand new carpet when all that was wrong with the 1yr old carpet we had, was regular wear and tear(some dirt from not taking shoes off and such), and when confronted about it they avoided sending us proof and that wed be sent to collections if we didnt pay. Lesson here, is to take pictures before you move in, and after everything is moved out and youve cleaned so you can prove there are no mystery stains.
My brothers and sister-in-law lived here for 6 months. They charged a security deposit and an additional $200 for admin fees and stated it was part of the security deposit. The management is absolutely horrible!! They fix nothing that was damaged from prior tenants, but charge for damages. They are charging to have the carpets cleaned even though they state that do that no matter what between tenants. This place is super shady! I would never recommend that anyone rent from them. Not to mention, parking is horrible here for anything that is not a small compact car.
My boyfriend and I moved across the country and ideally wanted to get into a private renters/house but we didnt have jobs lined up and figured an apartment complex would be our best bet in finding something quick and trusting the condition and layout. Copper Run was great! We moved in easily, they didnt give us any trouble about our tow trailer being parked there a few days while we unpacked and even told us where to park it while we posted it for sale. Management throughout our entire stay there was amazing. They werent nit picky about the state of our apartment when we left, and gave us almost all of our deposit back each time. But I also spent hours cleaning because I dont feel like other people should be responsible for cleaning up my mess. The deductions were completely understandable. We first rented a one bedroom and then moved to a two bedroom by transferring our lease over once we got a dog. The pet rent isnt bad at all and the transition was so easy. The one bedroom was very nice and affordable but much too small for two people and a big dog. We loved the 2 bedroom, one bath. The layout was great and just makes it feel so much bigger.BIGGEST PROS: Its awesome that all of the units have washers and dryers. Back East every apartment complex has community laundry rooms. The lady that is stays in the community space until 10pm most night is SO nice. The hot tub is great. We never took advantage of the movie room but did borrow some video games! You can have dogs! And big dogs at that! Balconies, dishwashers, and extra storage space is all awesome. Doggie bags are located all over the place so you dont even have to buy them.BIGGEST CONS: I suggest not getting a ground floor apt. Having your blinds open at all sucks because people constantly walk by and you dont get much light in even when they are open. The dumpsters are always overflowing but thats because people suck and throw furniture in them. I do wish there were bigger recycling bins though. A lot of people dont pick up their dogs poop, which sucks when you try to play outside with your dog. But again people can suck. The shower whistles/screams at you in the winter.otherwise, we loved it :-)
Great office staff and maintenance is timely. Overall a friendly place to live!
Not the best place to live... Prices are too expensive for apartment units that arent all that appealing. The units are poorly made and managed. The walls in the units are so paper thinthat neighbors are easily heard (phone calls, dishes, laundry) everything is heard! The a/c units suck and struggle to cool off and maintain a decent temperature during the warm summer days. The heaters are equally as terrible and failed to keep our unit heated (we had a one bedroom as well as a two bedroom and neither was successful). It bewildered me that our electricity bill was insanely and unexplainabley high. We are not a family who utilizes much electricity so at first we figured it was a malfunction in our one bedroom unit, then we moved to our two bedroom unit and it was still so uncontrollably high. Throughout a majority of the 2 years I lived here the hot tub was broken. The location is not desirable either, a lot of homeless wander through complex and lurk in the dumpster areas. I personally had to call three times on accounts of a homeless man staying in a vacant unit and another homeless man banging on windows and trying to unlock doors in the middle of the night. Additionally, being located right next to Dailys meat factory there is a constant undesirable strong odor during all times of the year. Lastly, I will review the staff. I was not impressed with their service whatsoever due to their unproffessionalism. The office staff were catty women who have been overheard by myself and my family members gossiping about tenants. When calling or going into the office to inquire about a question or concern they were generally unhelpful and had attitude. I once went into the office to print something and the printers were not working so I requested help from the woman at the second desk in the office and she huffed and sighed the entire time; not a desirable or friendly way to represent your job. Upon retrieving a package from the office the staff did not bother to pause their inappropriate conversation regarding clubbing and hooking up experiences. They also demand you have your dogs leashed yet they turn a blind eye to the maintenance worker who brings his large Akita to work and keeps him unleashed at all times. On the topic of dogs, there is a copious amount of dog poop all throughout the lawn areas. In conclusion, this is certainly the worst place I have ever experienced living at and I strongly urge you to consider a residence elsewhere.
Copper Run was the worst place Ive ever rented from. They claim to be pet friendly but try to ticket you as soon as you dont pick up after your dogs which seems logical and correct but not when they try to blame someone elses dog crap on yours. Pathetic. I moved in with my boyfriend far after they had been on the lease. The apartment was trashed from the other roommates prior to me moving in. I had to pay over $1000 after moving out because of the damages. They put all that cost on my boyfriend and I when we hadnt been the ones destroying the place. The employees werent willing to work anything out with us and the responsibility was left with the two of us college student to pay for the damages. I only lived there for 4 months and had to pay for someone elses mess. Never would I recommend Copper Run to anyone.
Decent but the smell next door from Daileys gets old quick.
Great location Clean common area staff is Friendly !
Very helpful and courteous staff.
Ive lived in a few places in Missoula, this being the worst.
How much does it range from? The Cost
Want to live here but no yards
