Picture attached include screen shots of payment as proof of service at this location for 2 bad sets of nails and 2 unrelaxing pedicures . Dates of service are : 6/18 and 7/1 . There was another date I stopped in for a repair just a few days after 6/18 but paid cash . Worst quality salon ! They also do not stand by their work or take accountability for their errors . They just bully you and hustle you .I had also previously reached out to the Modish Mint Hill concerning these quality issues but they deny me reaching out and only remember me when it is convenient for them.They are more focused on the next guest and the next dollar.

They are very professional here and the pedicure treatment is amazing! I had Kim today. And she did a fantastic job!

I was a walk in on a Tuesday around Noon, a friend referred me, and happy she did. Nina did my gel pedicure and SNS nails. She did a great job. I like a nail technician that takes pride in molding a new set of tips. No lumps, smooth, thin...how a nail should look...I didnt leave with any glue or polish around my nails. Like some nails spots simply do trash nails and expect to you to come back (ie; V.H Nails Spa, Huntersville- Horrible!)...Anywho, I Absolutely am satisfied with how my nails look. Nina was wonderful, Nail are Perfect! Found my new spot!

The experience from beginning to end was enjoyable. Highly recommend. The professionalism, kindness, candor, and attention to detail is duly noted. Let’s not forget how clean the spa is. Thank you for adding value to my self care day. Rachel was awesome.

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. My experience was horrible. They didnt even let my nail technician finish doing my nails. The male manager here told her to leave and that he would finish them. He rushed while filing my acrylics, they came out horribly chunky and not what I wanted. It wasnt busy that day. I ended up paying for messy chunky acrylics that I had to get fixed a week later. I got these done for my 21st birthday for the special occasion so it was disappointing.

This place has the best customer service Ive ever seen, Kim is amazing with drawing designs so give them a try you wont regret it.

If I could give this place zero stars I would... a friend came in today looking to get her nails done and she came right at opening. She spent 3 hrs in the salon. Kelly, her nail tech, claimed she could do foil which she could not, and when my friend expressed that she wasn’t happy with the way it was looking, Kelly began to talk about her in another language and was visibly upset with her. After my friend politely expressed how she didn’t like her nails, Kelly told her someone else can do her nails and walked away. Another tech finished her nails but she shaping was off and overall, the nails didn’t look good. My friend went up to pay and the manager refused to give her anything off the total, even though the nails did not meet her satisfaction. None of our friends or family will return to this place of business again. This is the 2nd time this has happened within 2 months. Don’t spend your money here, go to another salon.

I have gone in very regularly since moving to Charlotte in April. In the beginning, the SNS manicure would last me 3+ weeks. More recently, I cant even go a week without chipping or cracking. I called in and described what was going on and was basically blamed for it, told I didnt call/come in soon enough and they would only discount the fix for me. Went in for the fix and they didnt even discount it. That was Tuesday, 8/24, by the weekend I already had nails cracking. The quality has severely diminished but they do not take any accountability for it.

I called for an appointment for my Mom and me the day before. We arrived and were taken on time. My tech was Anna. Listen, she scrubbed my feet so good, I tip toe when I walk bc they are as smooth as a babys bottom. The shop gives you drinks and are very welcoming. My gel mani and pedi still look good. My moms does too. Ill be back.

1st time visit & really liked how Nina did my nails. Will definitely be going back again!Not a complaint but just an observation ~ Id remind the staff to wear their masks *over* their noses, not under. Most had their masks on correctly, only 2 didnt.

I’ve been here twice. Each time I did $50 pedicure. Both times I left with feet that are stiff really rough in some areas. The first time I had to tell the guy and he just barely “fixed” it. They don’t really do much in terms of callus or dead skin removal. Nor do they try to up sell me any extra removal. Which I would have gladly paid for. I’m on my feet sometimes 10+ hours a day. My feet get wet all day from washing dogs. I make it a point to get a pedicure every other week to help with it. But. This pedicure definitely wasn’t worth it.

Walked in for a full set and French tip. Showed them what I wanted and they told me they couldn’t do. She tried to tell me I wanted extended nails and in the picture I have they’re clearly not extended. Anyway will not be going back and this would’ve been my first time ever going.

I enjoyed my 1st time at the Mint Hill location. The location is convenient and the establishment was very clean and professional. I would only wish that they would provide nail dryer machines. But overall I would go back again.

I went to get SNS with tips last week for my college graduation, the following day after I got my new set my ring finger nail broke off! Not even 3 days later my nails were already chipping and lifting. I went back less than a week later to get them fixed, I chose a very pretty minty green color, I came out with a very UGLY turquoise, my nails are bumpy and extremely poorly done. I will never go back to this place and highly encourage everyone to think twice before visiting this awful place.

I have visited this business on several occasions and enjoy the convenience of being able to walk in as well as make an appointment if needed. They do a wonderful job and are very professional.

I visited this place on Saturday before my sisters customer appreciation event, Elle was my tech for my SNS and pedicure. She was EXCELLENT, very professional and nice. Even though i live one hour away, i will come to charlotte once a month for services. Thanks Ellle! Keep up the excellent work

I’ve been to Modish a couple times and it’s always been okay, nothing crazy - but the price is low and my nails look good. I went yesterday for a gel manicure and it was terrible. I called to make an appointment, and when I showed up all the employees were doing each other’s nails - so I felt like an intrusion coming in. After washing my hands, no one directed me on where to sit - one of the employees getting her nails done motioned for me to sit next to her. They didn’t use the heat pads this time which was disappointing, but I figured maybe everyone does it different. The girl doing my nails was HORRIBLE. She burned my fingers multiple times trying to get the gel off...maybe if she let it soak off with the heat it would have been easier. In general my hands were never soaked in anything, so the whole thing felt dry and my skin was super irritated. She didn’t get all the gel color off, so as I’m looking at my new gel you can literally see the original color I had on through it....plus fuzz that I know she saw and didn’t want to fix. I had to ask her to reshape the nails because they were so uneven, she basically filed them on an angle. She used a scrub on my hands and then told me to go wash my hands...covered in scrub, didn’t turn the faucet on for me or anything even though she also went to wash her hands. She kept jerking my arms across the counter to her while she watched The Wizards of Waverley on her phone. Again, the whole time all the other employees were doing each other’s nails. The entire experience was so unprofessional. I will absolutely never be back, and would not recommend this business to anyone. There are much better options in the area.

Just waited for an hour to be served. No one told me it would be a long wait or apologized for the inconvenience. In fact, no one spoke to me at all after I had been seated. Ended up having to book somewhere else while sitting there. I’ve used this place ever since it opened and it’s other location before that and I’ve never had this kind of experience. Highly disappointed.

I went here for the first time today and I must say my first experience was absolutely amazing. My appt was at 11 and I got there 15 min early and the lady took me right on it. Its so pretty and CLEAN inside. They check your temperature and have you spaced out from everyone else. I got a fill in and pedicure and my nails look great. Yanny was my nail tech and she is just the sweetest. From the moment I walked in until the time I left my experience was great. I have found my new nail salon home. I really like the fact that I was able to get a same day appt at the last minute. Friendly staff and great work. Highly recommend this nail salon!!!

Monica was great! Most salons dont ask what shape pedicure and then actually give you want you want. She executed it perfectly. The leg massage was out of this world i almost went to sleep! The salon was super clean, they took my temp and had me wash my hands upon arrival which i totally appreciated. I will definitely be back!

My experience today at Modish was fantastic. They were very friendly and welcoming, and my tech, Tee, took excellent care of me. The atmosphere is great, service is always fantastic, and their pricing is very reasonable, especially for the level of service provided. I will definitely continue to choose Modish.

Owner refused to refund me for the 45$ pedicure I received after his nail tech cut my toenails incorrectly which has caused multiple toes to become ingrown and very painful .ive never encountered this issues with any other pedicure I’ve EVER received. The owner called me and said I must have dropped something on my foot to cause the pain. Much better salons with skilled technicians in the area.

I just got a manicure & deluxe manicure from Nina. It was great! She’s very conscientious and did a great job.

The only good thing about this nail salon is their covid-19 safety measures. I have gotten SNS dip here twice. Both time my nails broke/chipped within a few days. My biggest issue is that last time I was there, the nail tech trimmed my nails so short they hurt. I wasnt asked if I wanted them shortened or trimmed - she just went ahead and did it.

Never been to a nail salon with such amazing customer service, i got a jelly pedicure and also my nails and im am soooooo happy with the results i highly recommend this place and i give it a 10/10 this is now my favorite nail salon

This was not a good experiance. They ripped my nails apart and it was actually kind of painful. I got a french tip and the job was very messy and unclean. My friend hot his done and all his nails were cut uneven. And my nails only lasted about 3 days which was really annoying. (This was all under my mothers name by the way which is why some may not be able to find it in records.)

Very disappointed in the services I received, SNS and pedicure. A male did my pedicure and never said a word to me during my service however could not stop chatting with the other male working in there doing a pedicure on someone else as well. SNS was horrible, thin lady did my nails, think it was the owners wife, had to return twice to keep correcting the SNS from not blending and drying correctly. Was told that sometimes the weather causes that. Both times returning she instructed to to wait until they had a chance to get to me. Never will return, horrible service!

They were great! The prices were right on and I am going on two weeks with my nails and they look perfect. They dont rush you and actually take the time for a relaxing visit. I will be back for sure and highly recommend!

I was there 2 days ago. Great job on my SnS. nails. I broke a nail and called them to see if they could repair it 6:30. I was told yes. I got there at 6:31 and was told I need to make an appointment for the next day, tomorrow, that they close at 7 pm and they have no time to repair my nail. If I could have waited until tomorrow, the next day, I would not have even called to make the appointment at 6:30 today. I went to another nail salon that had no issue to repair my broken SnS nail that took all of 5 minutes. With that being said, Modish will never get my business again.

Very poor quality and not attentive pedicure. 3 days later couldn’t even tell I had one done. My tools at home get the rough skin off better than they did. Will not be returning. Plus I had to wait even though I was the only customer in the salon and there were multiple employees sitting around on their cell phones

Really nice inside and did a good job on my nails. Got gel nails done Tuesday its now Thursday and I have one chipping. There suppose to last 2 weeks and its only lasted 2 days.

I went to the Nail Salon, this past Saturday after Thanksgiving. Monday came and all my Gel Polish was chipping, I’m talking every nail🤷🏾‍♀️ Went to the salon today Tuesday the nail tech “Young” repainted my nails but she made me feel as though it was my fault that my nails were chipping which was definitely not the case! After this was said and done she then proceeded to act as though all was well and it was still my fault! Needless to say I’ll never go back to this salon EVER! They are very Expensive my basic pedicure with gel polish was $46.00 wow on top of all that the place is beautiful, but not comfortable at the nail work station, it was the Granite that really was hurting my elbows no cushion at all🤷🏾‍♀️ & Nail tech “Young” was Extremely Ruff! If you go, enjoy your expensive Pedi but stay away from having to get your nails done at the granite bar!Thank God my Nail Salon “Jazzy Nails”, is back open from the holiday closing!!!!!!!!!

So far I’ve had a good experience here, the only thing I do not like is that they charge me to remove my gel polish even though they are redoing it. I think that this should be included as part of the mani: pedi package. I was disappointed that they charged me extra for this service since I went to them to have the initial service done. However the staff is friendly, the technicians do a good job & like the work. The prices are comparable to other salons near by. Would give a 5 star if it was not for the nickel and diming.

What a terrible experience! I was serviced today to repair two broken SNS nails that were done last Friday by Yenny. The broken nails were repaired by Lanna today and she said my nails broke because they were too thin. This was my first time hearing this. Lanna repaired my nails by doing super thick SNS. I have had SNS for a total of 3 years. I have been a customer of Midtown nails and Modern Nails in uptown Charlotte and this has never been an issue before. After moving to Mint Hill, I was really excited to have a new salon nearby. I started going to Modish in August. Brooklyn has previously done my SNS at Modish but the last two visits she has been acting as if she doesnt know me and its too busy to do my SNS hence the reason why I was service by Yenny (on Friday) and Lanna (today).

They are busy, but you are still taken good care... Great Service !

I was excited to see a new spa in the area. So, I called for pedicure pricing. I was told we dont place acrylic on toes. Wow, even when people may have a condition and the toes dont grow you cant assist. I will continue with Bella Spa who can accommodate their customers. Bad taste, om done!

Im giving this rating because of the sketchy pricing. I came in for a tiny fill for my acrylics after a week and a half. My nails happen to be ombre style pink and white, however I didnt need extra white just the pink. My nail tech filled in the pink with no additional technique of the ombre. And had the nerve to charge me for a minuscule fill of just pink. That is a $15 difference for just having ombre for no ombre technique. Will not be going back, this is very shady!
