I was in downtown Milwaukee for a couple days, and the place I was staying doesn’t have a gym. I found CoMotion on Google and contacted Nate for drop-ins.Nate was very kind and gave me a generous rate. I went in the mornings, the space is always clean and cool. I enjoyed every workout at CoMotion, and can’t wait to come back :)
My boyfriend and I were looking for a gym during the pandemic (February 2021) that was in compliance with the CDC regulations. We hadnt gone to a gym in almost a year due to the pandemic so cleanliness was a must. Nate is the owner and gave us a tour. We absolutely loved the place. It was exactly what we were looking for. Huge open space that included many different types of equipment to fancy almost every workout style imaginable. Nate also made sure we stayed on track with workout plans and checking in with us weekly. It definitely helped us from slacking. He also offered small group classes (cardio kickboxing and some others) and personal sessions if that was more your style. Hes very dedicated in keeping you on track and following through on your goals. I totally recommend this facility!!!
Great gym with a very positive and inviting atmosphere! I signed up for the trial period and haven’t missed a week day since. Nate and Avery make sure to create creative and interactive workouts that keep you engaged, but can be done at your own pace so any experience level from beginner to expert can complete them. Only a month in and this is already the best decision of 2021.

Love this place and the humans so much. Personalized work out and diet. Group classes dont feel like work. Members arent intimidating and it truly feels like a community. Thanks to comotions workout plan Im the envy of all my friends, I pulled me a baller man and I dont have to work at the mall again.
I love this gym! The employees make sure to greet you every time you come in the door! They treat you like family and show that they really care about you!
This is not your typical gym. Everyone is on a name to name basis and extremely inviting. I entered the 6 week challenge hoping to lose 10 pounds. They provided me with a meal plan (a guide for eating out too!), grocery shopping list, tons of healthy recipes for during and after the challenge, and an accountability coach who checked in on me weekly. Their class schedule is extremely flexible and offers a variety of classes tailored to your specific needs. By following their diet suggestions and attending at least 3 classes a week, I was able to surpass my goal and lost almost 12 pounds! Overall, I highly recommend this gym if you want to see results and watch your body transform.

I absolutely love this place. I took free 6 weeks challenge here. Usually it would cost 499.99. My start weight was 165.2 and I end with 149.6 so I lost a little over 15lbs in six weeks. They have classes for me to go during my 6 weeks. I go there at least 3 time a week to work and follow meal plan I was given, people over there are so friendly. Also they gave me two personal trainers number. Nate and Eileen are amazing. I would text one of them if I have any questions anything about healthy or the gym. I recommend to anyone who would like to see the results going to gym

I felt welcome from the day I walked in at CoMotion fitness. The instructors are all professionals and really know about fitness and health. This was a great experience for me and I know anyone can do it. I am not a very athletic person, and I was not motivated to do any exercise on my own, but having CoMotion fitness instructors helping me, allow me achieve something I have never done. The changes were very noticeable by others.
CoMotion is great gym to work out at! All of the people are amazing - trainers, as well as the other people working out! Have seen amazing results in my strength and have seen great muscle gain. Great gym that pushes you to do different movements than you may be used to and helps you improve and get stronger!
I have been working out with Eileen at CoMotion Fitness since January and I have absolutely loved it! The whole atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging, and Eileen has been amazing to train with! She mixes it up and is very knowledgeable in fitness. She has helped me achieve a body I am happy and comfortable in, and I have never had as much strength as I do now! CoMotion Fittness is truly unique, its not just a gym but a community. In the start I was certain Id be judged and would quit in a matter of a few months if not weeks. To my surprise though Ive never felt so welcomed in a gym. The staff is fantastic, every trainer has their own unique way of conducting a class and they actually make working out into a fun activity. The members are equally supportive encouraging one another to do their best.I started off in a small beginner group and would observe the regular classes and would wonder if I would ever be able to do things the regular class members did. A few months later I tried out the regular class and the trainers showed me progressions and those baby steps built up to a point where things I wouldnt even think of doing are now possible or within my grasp.Overall no aches and pains, my endurance and energy is at an all time high, I feel better and I can see and feel my body composition changing.Id recommend this place to anyone anytime and I cant talk enough of this place.You guys are literally changing peoples lives daily.
I found Comotion on Instagram while they were advertising their 6 week challenge. After meeting with Nate, I felt this could be the place to help me be successful. I had fallen out of my routine and had not worked out regularly in over a year. I knew I was going to need something extra to keep me going. Nate provided me with an easy to follow nutrition plan and my coach checked in on me weekly which held me accountable. The classes are tough but the instructors show modifications so moves can be done by all ability levels. I got more out of this challenge and gym than I ever expected. The instructors and other members are super supportive and encouraging. I had no idea of what this challenge would bring for me, but I beat my goal of losing 10 pounds and almost hit 13. I liked it so much I decided to stay after the challenge was completed. I also appreciate the flexibility they have in plans. Hands down the best gym I have been a member at.
This gym is more than just a place to workout! It’s a community! No matter your level, age, race, this place will make you feel at home! And when your workout feels like playing...you can’t beat that!
Ive been going to CoMotion since February and love it. The community is great and the coaching staff is excellent; they are incredibly knowledgable, supportive and accommodating. The gym itself is a great environment and has everything you need for a solid workout. I cannot recommend CoMotion more!

The collective trainers at Como have a vast amount of knowledge about the human body and how were meant to move. Since implementing their routines into my life Ive seen an overall better sense of well being, decreased back aches, increased strength, better flexibility, and stronger self awareness. I highly recommend anyone to try them out if youre looking for a fresh perspective on movement and fitness

I was a member at CoMo for 2 months. I went to 4-8 classes per week.I enjoyed my time at CoMo. The trainers are pretty good.I had knee pain that I thought would limit my mobility for most of my life. After the 2 months the knee pain is almost never an issue now. I made strides in my general fitness as well.I did the 6-week challenge, and the goal the trainers and I set was gain 5 lbs. After 8 weeks I only gained a little over 2 lbs. I actually ate much more than their meal plan recommended so that was a little frustrating, but I dont have an ideal weight so its not a huge issue for me. It says theres a guarantee, but nothing happens if you dont reach this goal. You dont get reimbursed or anything. Also the 6-week challenge is no longer free, it cost $40/week which is the same as general membership. So in total the 6-week challenge costs $240, and youre already signed into the contract so its not actually a trial period.I decided to cancel, because of the price. The general membership which includes all the classes was $160/mo ($100/mo for students, $50/mo for access to the gym with no classes, but the classes are kinda the whole gimmick). I have student loans, rent, bills etc and just couldnt justify the price. I personally had no need for the accountability or meal plan, so I tried to talk to them, but the price wasnt able to be negotiated so I had to cancel. Ultimately, it came down to the fact that I could do most of the same activities (yoga, stregth, conditioning, weightlifting) at another gym for a third of the price.I wish they had been more willing to be flexible, or had some form of sliding scale for low-income people in place, because I enjoyed attending a lot.Overall I recommend CoMo if you can afford it. The people are nice and youll see results, but for $160/mo they dont really offer an all inclusive experience worth the price. You might just be better looking into other places if money is a concern at all, because they dont budge whatsoever.
I’ve been going to CoMo regularly for the past 4 months, and it would be a disservice to call it just a gym. I can go 5-6 times per week and never have to fear of getting bored with a routine. All of the trainers are supremely top-notch, and will help you to reach your full potential. Very tight-knit and chill community.

Great atmosphere, very unique workouts.I did X-fit classes for a long time and felt sore and beat up after. Como focuses a lot on strength and mobility, the workouts are challenging but I feel great when I walk out of there.I started at Como when it opened in the fall and my flexible has increased dramatically and the lingering leg (knee) pain Ive had for the past few years is much better!
I had a friend call me a gym hopper until I found CoMotion Fitness. It incorporates BJJ, calisthenics/gymnastics, power lifting, barbell, kettlebell, mobility, balance, mindfulness, and much more. It provides a framework for longevity that I have not experienced before.The coaches are diverse in their backgrounds, receptive to feedback, and run fun and challenging classes.This place will change your mentality from I need to/should go workout to Im excited to move.The community and members are supportive and fun to be around as well.
CoMotion! It’s great to be shoeless again and to have kettlebells. Gym definitely feels the most like MBG. Fun ambience and eclectic culture.

This is my favorite gym in the midwest. The are no two classes that are the same. It is the best overall workout Ive found in Chicago and Milwaukee!! Its also got a great community of people.
