The salon was great. My appointment time was kept punctual as can be. They werent pushy about product they sell which seems rare. Julie was amazing. Friendly to talk to and did a great job on my hair. Spoiler alert, Im a dude and I couldnt feel prettier right now. 100% will go back.

So I went here on a whim knowing I needed a haircut. I love it here. The atmosphere is great! Everyone seems so nice and Whitney did a FANTASTIC job on my hair. She was so great and really helped me a lot! Ill be coming back here again in the future!

Got my eyebrows waxed and tinted. The lady who did it didnt even listen to me about what I wanted and was getting annoyed that I was asking for a different brow color than what she decided. I gave her reference pictures and told her exactly what I wanted. They look nothing like how I wanted. They barely look different than when I came in. Im very disappointed because this place has such good reviews. What a waste of time and money.

I called to make an appointment and the first thing I asked when I got on the phone was if they had a person that specializes in doing naturally wavy to curly hair. The lady on the phone said they absolutely do and that I could get scheduled the same day. I went in and explained to my hair dresser that I have straightened my hair my whole life and that I really wanted to learn how to keep it natural and I needed some advice on how to style and cut it. The man that cut my hair seemed nice and welcoming, however he completely disregarded the one thing that I specified to them. After he cut my hair he continued to blow dry and straighten it to complete the look. Styling naturally curly hair is way different than straight hair. The man that I was paired with knew nothing about how to style or upkeep my type of hair and he was unable to answer any of my questions about how to manage it. I left the salon with straight hair which was the one thing I clarified I was not looking for. The haircut it’s self was not bad, however if a person is not qualified to do a job, I should have been informed from the beginning.

My mother and I came to see Whitney for the very first time and she was wonderful to work with! Very professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Will be returning and recommending her to everyone we know.

Jason was my stylist he did an amazing job on my hair/beard trim. 10/10 would recommend!!Prior to going in I was at the bar down the road trying to pick up chicks with no luck.. then the thought came over me that maybe it was because my hair and beard were just no bueno and throwing out them “ I’m a bum vibes” so decided maybe..just maybe if I got a haircut/beard trim I would be able to bag someone for the night. I went in explained the situation to him and he looked at me with those “ oh no honey” eyes and then proceeded to escort me to the sink to start the process of turning me into a stallion that any chick would want to ride off into the sunset with.After the wash He sat me in the chair and asked how would I like my hair done.. I froze for a second I pondered in my head..like” hmm clearly this style isn’t working... what would them chicks at the bar like?” I couldn’t trust my own judgment there was just to much at stake here... So I looked him dead in the eyes like the little cat from shrek I think his name is “puss and boots “ and with every shimmer of hope left I responded “ I trust you to make this decision for me... just make me beautiful”I took a deep breath,closed my eyes,clenched my butt cheeks and waited for him to make his decision on what style to go with... after a few seconds he responded.. “ Don’t worry, I got chu boo” a sigh of relief came over me and the haircut started we chatted it up made small talk and wrapped up the cut...I was extremely nervous afterwards I was in the car headed back to the bar to try and bag me a wild one but what if the girls from earlier didn’t like the cut what if I had made a mistake in letting Jason cut my hair... oh no I thought what have I done... but it was all or nothing I had a little pep talk with myself prior to opening the door... moment of truth I told myself...I went walking down the stairs proud and confident that my new cut was just the thing I needed and low and behold the women from earlier all turned to see who was coming in could he potentially be lucky guy who got to buy the drinks and pay the bills???Like wild seagulls they flocked across the bar bedazzled by my handsome new look they then introduced themselves told me how amazing my haircut looked and asked to go home with me at the end of the night.So if you some guy out there trying to get laid go see my man Jason he will make sure you looking like a prized stallion for any occasion.

Julie gave a cut and color to each of my two teenage daughters. Im a single dad who is navigating the challenges of raising two awesome girls, and all that comes along with this. My youngest has had some challenges with bullying and being accepted for who she is. W/out mom in the picture, there are some things I just cant totally relate with, or provide. Julie knocked it out of the park on both of my girls hair. She sent my youngest home that night feeling beautiful and special. Again, as a dude, a haircut and color seems trivial to me, but when I saw the happiness on my babys face, I teared up. Julie, thank you so much. You do so much more than just cut hair.

Eh. Went in asked for subtle long layers I am growing my hair out. Jamie went full Rachel from friends 90s layers on my hair. Also she textured my hair pretty much thinned it without asking I would have said no because all it does is shreds and damages causing split ends on my straw like hair. She was fast tho and nice but probably cuts hair the way she has been for a long time.

I have been going to this location for almost a year now. I like the salon and the prices are good for a mens salon haircut. Thats about all I can say about the facility in general.When I go, I get my hair cut by Lindsay S. She does a great job and is friendly. She takes good notes on how I like my hair cut so I dont have to remember. She also cut my 2 year old sons hair and did a good job. She wasnt afraid to cut an active 2 year olds hair.

Julie is amazing!! Two separate salons messed up my color before I discovered Gemini and booked a color correction with Julie. She immediately texted me and asked me for photos of what I wanted my color to look like and what it currently looked like so she could evaluate before my appointment. Ive gone to her twice now and Im much happier with my color. I also have mega-fine hair that Julie can blend into a nice soft cut instead of choppy layers. And I really enjoy our conversations when Im in the chair! Gemini is a terrific facility and I highly recommend Julie!

Very nice place it was clean and smelled nice, staff was super nice, I had Sydney do my gel polish on my nails she was super professional and kind, she did a great job on my nails, we had a hiccup with a new bottle of polish not wanting to stay but she redid it with a different polish and when she finished she did a great job, i will definitely be coming back to get the acrylics done.

I chose to get my hair done at this salon the day before my graduation, which may have been my own fault but I was not prepared for the lack of customer service I received. When I first arrived at the salon, I was informed by my hair stylist Julie that my appointment had not been booked with enough time even though I had carefully detailed my hair and the process that I wanted done. I do not blame this hair stylist for the way my hair turned out, even though it was quite dreadful, but I do blame her for the poor way I was treated during my entire appointment.First off, despite the fact that Julie had realized she did not have time to do my hair the way I had requested, instead of telling me that it would not be possible, or that I should request a different service, Julie continued to do my hair. However, instead of dying my whole head, she only dyed the top half of my hair, which I had asked her specifically not to do. I realized this only after my hair was done. Despite the fact that I paid the full $150 for my hair to be completely dyed, I walked away with only my top half being dyed a bright orange, with my natural black hair underneath.Second of all, I was about to be sent away with wet hair and no styling whatsoever because Julie had her next appointment. After I pleaded with her, she agreed to allow me to come back after the appointment to get my hair styled, which was included in my fee that I had already paid.When I came back, my hair had dried to a bright orange and I requested that she put a toner on to make the hair more neutral, which she very reluctantly agreed to. During the rest of this appointment she continuously reprimanded me as if I were a child, and guilted me when I had done nothing wrong. My mother had come to the salon because I had called her earlier in tears and Julie refused to let her into the locked salon for thirty minutes.I do not blame Julie for the hair color I turned out with but I do blame her for her lack of professionalism during my appointment. Being scolded to the point of nearly tears because of the lack of time she had to style my hair was not what I was expecting when I arrived at the salon, especially when I had done nothing wrong. Appearing at my high school graduation with bright hair was not the greatest either. I’m just very upset with my experience. I had saved up for a long time in order to get my hair done, but instead I was charged $150 of my own money for a half- done job. I called the salon numerous times in the three weeks afterwards in order to work out a solution that would hopefully make the both of us happy but unfortunately all of my calls were ignored. Just frustrated at the loss of money that occurred and the fact that my attempts at reconciliation were all ignored. Highly unprofessional.

My wife decided it was time for me to get a haircut and being new to the area I had no clue where to go. There are always the standard SportClips and Hair Schools around that can cut your hair for ~$10 but often the results will have you sleeping in the dog house. So wanting to appease my wife, I looked into hair salons. I was surprised to see a standard haircut for men at most salons runs from $25-$45. When I came across Gemini Salon I was surprised by their review score (in a good way) compared to other salons in the area AND the price was $18, not bad! Their website said walk-ins welcome so I stopped by during my lunch break. Without an appointment they got me right in. McKel cut my hair and she did a great job (my wife likes it too)! They even have a frequent customer card for men: buy 5, get one free.OVERALL: A great haircut (wash and cut) that is wife approved for

First time going to this salon and I didnt like how she cut my hair. I asked for it to be thinned, and instead of using thinning shears like every other stylist, she used a technique that really hurt my head while she did it, and Ive noticed that since the haircut, the ends of my hair are very unhealthy even though I barely use heat on it, and it tangles very easily. $50 poorly spent.
