My six year old son and four year old daughter have been learning so much in just the few months they have been at Midland Taekwondo Training Center. Not only are they learning to protect themselves, they are also learning about respect. My kids are more confident in themselves, and they love going to learn more.

I brought my 3 year old son here to get him out of the house. I was worried at first because he has never attended daycare, and the one time he was part of another activity he would cry for me. He took to Master Kim immediately and I have never seen him so proud of himself! He came home after his 2nd lesson and was teaching my 8 year old son things he has learned. Thank you Master Kim!!

I am an instructor at Midland Taekwondo Training Center and I am glad I enrolled. I came in, in the worse shape of my life and now I surprise myself at the things I can do now. Taekwondo has taught me self control and perseverance, two tkd tenets I really needed to work on. My granddaughter is also a student and she looks forward to days we have classes. Master Kim has done a wonderful job at showing us forms and self defense techniques and I look forward to learning more.

Terrible. Teacher says quality over quantity, but seem otherwise. Theres smoke surrounding the outside of the classroom; saw a kid go to the doctor because of it. Its already expensive, yet he still nags you to pay even more for the black belt thingy. You dont even have to put effort in the belt testing because hell succeed you anyway. Why? Because if you pass, hell get money. You pay more than you learn. He tells you to respect him when he cant even respect that we have a LIFE outside of the dojo. He is just full of a bunch of lies. Wonder if he pays the black belts for instructing the class in his place, even a discount is fine.Edit: Here you go, your five stars! Obviously all you care about. :)P.S. This IS the correct dojo.

My niece has been attending this class. She is a small child and I am amazed at how much she has learned. She has also learned discipline. Impressive for small children. I would recommend midland tar Kwon do.

Now that my girl 5 years has passed the test of the 4 classes with Master Kim and we have seen that she has liked and that is why we decided to leave her enrolled.I liked what this teacher teaches in his martial arts and most of all the discipline in children, youth and adults. I did not think adults were going there, until a man came in. I think in his 40s and he asked him for classes so Mr Kim asked him, is it for a child? No, said Mr. is for me !!! Be amazed and see how the teacher treated him very cordially.My child has learned several self defense techniques quickly in these 4 days and what I appreciate most is courtesy and have a lot of respect for her teachers and adults.If you like your child to learn all that, I recommend this academy. So much so that we are considering participating the whole family in practicing this martial art and spending quality time with the whole family.Thanks Master Kim

Taekwondo is a real structured Martial Arts education. It is a Korean traditional martial art of unarmed combat for self-defense, involving the skilled application of punches, kicks, blocks, dodges, interception with the hands and feet to the rapid destruction on the opponent. Taekwondo training will helps gain concentration, self discipline, self confidence, respect and positive attitude. Master Kim truly cares about my child. He has instilled the values that I believe a good citizen should have. Encouragement, discipline and confidence. Classes are fun, but structured. Our famiky Highly recommends Master Kim and his training facility for recreational and competitive.

Grandmaster Kim teaches traditional Kukkiwon Taekwondo - in a solemn atmosphere - just what my family has been looking for. He promotes Discipline, Respect and Honor. I have a 5 year old and son and a 10 year old daughter and they love to go to their Tae Kwon do classes. The master is excellent teaching physically and also teaching manners. My kids have option to try other sports but would rather stay in Tae Kwon do. I hope we can have masters like Master Kim all over the world!
