I love coming here! My nails always look great and they really pay attention to detail and take their time to make sure I’m happy with my nail art/design. Also they have a wide variety of pedicures, last time I got a gel polish with a lavender pedicure. It smelled so good and the foot massage was amazing!
This is my first time back since before Covid. I used to go here frequently and this time I brought my sister. We got hot stone, gel polish pedicures and 100% liquid gel full set manicures with gel polish and designs.PROS: I was a walk-in and they were ready for us before I picked my color, so that was really convenient. They didn’t have the color I picked but my guy was super efficient finding me another purple, which I appreciated. Pedicure felt great, my feet are sensitive but he didn’t hurt at all, gave us the service menu (I should’ve taken a picture of it) but that whole experience was great 👍🏾For the manicure, they offer 100% liquid gel extensions on tips (not nail formers) which is nice because not all nail salons in Middletown offer that. My nails are even and not too bulky and neatly painted.CONS: Two big issues here. 1. My thumbnail was filed too low on both sides into my skin, hence the band-aid today, because it wasn’t bleeding I guess he didn’t think it was a problem, he did put some spray on it but there’s really no resolve for that and I’m probably not getting nail extensions of any kind going forward. 2. The receipts we were given don’t show you a breakdown of the services and pricing, only what you paid. Me and my sister’s totals came to $1 difference from each other and together total over $250. I would’ve felt better about the price if I knew how it got to that price. They used to give itemized receipts that also showed your rewards points but I guess that was years ago. When she asked, she was verbally told items but it felt awkward standing there asking about the price breakdown with people in the chairs waiting.Side note: The lady who used to do my nails here was excellent at free-styling designs with lines, colors, flowers, she was awesome (I think Erica), I guess I expected that but this design was pretty basic and I’m not creative so I just said it was fine. And lastly no one offered a “complimentary beverage” 🤷🏽♀️
Scott and Jessica who I know consider family have been taking excellent care of me for over 20 years. Kingdom Spa is always well maintained with a clean, welcoming and positive environment. I encourage anyone to schedule an appointment with them, they never disappoint!Please remember due to COVID the whole world is currently short staffed, be kind to those who showed up.
It is very sad to leave this review because I have been a loyal customer for years but I have noticed the quality in customer service gone down. I have been waiting in the pedicure chair for over 30 minutes now and no one has come to check on me. This is not the first time this has happened to me. A little advice if you do not have enough employees to do nails do not send a customer to a chair. I would much rather be told to come back later than wait an hour in the chair.
I had an appointment and had to wait over an hour. And when I finally got my nails done they were sloppy because he rushed the whole time. And then charged me $52 for a refill that fell off a week later (which isn’t supposed to happen). I also got my toe nails done. They ripped off the gel color that was left leaving my toenails weak and brittle. I have never had this experience any place else. And I willNever being going back. I used to love this place but it has gone down hill for the past year.
This is only my second time at the shop. Lee left an lasting impress. He did an amazing job on my pedicure. I will be back. Jessica also did a amazing job with my eyebrows. Much needed pampering day. Clean shop and very professional.
I followed Vincent here from another shop and he still does EXCELLENT work! I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get in the chair. I tell him I want bright red and he finds it for me definitely no complaints. My daughters even come here! Love them!!!
Unprofessional, unprofessional, unprofessional! Owner Scott told me I can go somewhere else if I don’t like how he does things and when I complained to his wife Jessica she said “I wasn’t there to see what happened so I can’t comment on it.” Who says that to a PAYING customer? No wonder they keep losing clients. This place sucks! Take your money elsewhere, trust me!
Called and scheduled an appointment for 6pm. Showed up about 5 minutes before 6pm. They sat me down and then ignored me for 30 minutes. I usually have a great experience but recently it’s been not so great. Unfortunately it’s a hit or miss here.
Made an appointment for 3 people at 3pm. One person was taken right away, one waited 45 minutes, the I ended up not getting anything as the reason for an appointment is to be seen at the time of the appointment. I did get my eye brows done & my skin was taken off with the wax strip. My sister got a gel manicure that literally started chipping HOURS after she left. When I went in to get my money back, they gave me attitude. I’ve been going there since they opened & definitely won’t be returning.

Very nice place and people
This was my first visit because I had a gift card from my birthday. The staff was very accommodating and I had a fantastic hot stone pedicure! Really nice place. I highly recommend. Prices were reasonable, too. I felt you got a lot for your money. They took their time.
I can take most any photo from the internet and they can do it on my nails. Their prices are fair. The staff is friendly. They offer many services (nails, pedi, facials, waxing) and they are great for an afternoon of relaxing. If they are busy they will rush you in and out, but most places like this do. Of all the nail salons, I enjoys their the most. I ask for David to do my nail art, and Jessica to do my pedi. The others are good as well, but these individuals are my favorites.
Although the staff giving me my pedicure was very nice I did feel that my service was rushed and I noticed the following day that I had skin peeling around my toes so I dont feel they were taken care of correctly and just wanted to rush me out for the next person. They also charge an extra free for a sanitation pack but I didnt notice anything new in a regular pedicure process.
An absolutely amazing salon, everyone is super kind and pays attention to detail. everything is super clean and sanitary. i am blown away with how incredible my experience was. i was even given little snacks and a beverage! adorable. i would recommend to everyone!
Awesome experience, I saw Mike and Paul and could not be happier with my nails! I was really impressed with how the salon was handling sanitation with Covid, everything was wiped down and handled professionally.
I’ve been going here for almost 2 years now and get complimented on my nails after every fill that I get. I always recommend everyone to go here and love how all of the staff takes care of me. Mike and Jenny are my favorites to go to but when they’re not available I can depend on anyone else to do a great job as well. Their pedicure options are awesome, best place I’ve gone for pedicures! They’ve never given me a reason to leave and I enjoy and am happy with every visit that I have, anything I’ve ever needed fixed, the staff has always been quick to help and understanding!
Poor customer serviceI made an appointment by phone and drove 25 minutes to get to this salon. After sitting for 30 minutes, I asked the receptionist if she could check to see when someone would take me back. She said that she would ask, but never came back. 20 minutes later, I asked her again and explained that I had been waiting for almost an hour. She went to the back of the salon again and came back to me. She apologized and told me that she was told to tell me that it would be a while before I would be called. She said that some people had waited almost 2 hours. Had someone called me and made me aware that they were running behind, I couldve adjusted my plans accordingly. The receptionist was very kind, but I felt invisible to the actual technicians. No one greeted me. Whoever was supposed to meet me at my appointment time never spoke to me to explain the situation or to even apologize. Sadly I was a first and last time customer.
I want to start off by thanking the young lady at the front desk. She tried her best to provide good customer service but unfortunately she is not the owner. Once the owner (Scott) I believe his name is, involved himself things went downhill. The main issue I had was the water in the pedicure bowl became cold. I asked if it could be warmer. The young lady in the front was going to do it but the owner pulled her away and had another worker do it. This worker scooped a majority of the water out of the bowl, brought over hot scolding water in a basin, tried to start pouring that hot water into the pedicure bowl while my feet were in there. I had to quickly move my feet, so I would not get burned. She did this twice. I told her the water was too hot, she then turned on the faucet to add cooler water but the pedicure bowl was to full. She turned off the faucet but the water was still scolding hot. She walked away and never came back. After 15 minutes of sitting there with my feet outside of the bowl and no one coming over, I got up to leave. That is when another worker finally said something to me, at that point it was too late. The sad thing is, I felt so bad for the young lady who was working the front desk. You can tell she was frustrated about what was going but couldn’t do much about it. Tip to the owner, allow the young lady to do her job without interference. Your place may get better reviews if you did. But, I won’t be back!!!

Perfection achieved!!! Very conscious of their work and are glad only when you are happy!!!!! I get gel manicures and my daughter gets acrylic nails done. Friendly employees also. They have so many shades of polish to choose from. They take walk-in customers.

I had the best experience here, i have ever had at a nail salon before. The nail technician was very nice and paid very close attention to the work she did. Also she was very attentive to questions about their products and choices I asked. I got a Full Set of Acrylic French Tips with a design, and paid $45! That is a great price for the work and the treatment.I will definitely be back again!!
I really like Kingdom Spa. My boyfriend and I have been getting our nails done for 8 yrs by either Erika or Daisy. Staff is very helpful. Staff makes u feel welcomed. Service is great. Work is excellent. Linda
The staff are talented, friendly and the salon is always clean! I’ve tried a few other nail salons after moving to the other side of Middletown but Kingdom is my favorite. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait if you walk in but it’s completely worth it.
I love this place I started going here when I first moved to Townsend. I checked out other nail salons and ended up back at this place. The staff is friendly and they do great work try to make an appointment because they do get crowded
Upon entering, greeted very nicely. I originally wanted a pedicure, design on toes, refill (acrylic) and waxing. I left almost 3 hours later with ONLY pedicure and color change because they are REALLY slow and seemed disorganized when it came to the acrylic. In fact, apparently Erica was supposed to do my nails, but she started arguing with (very nice but very slow) girl doing my pedicure ( Hanny) which I thought was quite unprofessional. She (Erica) was busy getting her nails done and couldnt be bothered. Very rude to Hanny and me. I definitely would not ever give her ANY business. Finally someone named Scott came out, and he was a bit flip and sarcastic when I asked about how much more time. At that point I switched to a color change and decided this will be my last visit to Kingdom Spa. They started speaking and laughing in their native language, and I am sure it was about me. No paying customer should ever be treated this way AND a pedicure/refill does NOT take over 3 hours. Gave the 2 stars for Hanny. She was very nice, but just super slow.
I gave kingdom spa two stars because I went there to get a refill and my toes done waited an hour to be seated. Then I was greeted by a employee who clearly didn’t want to be doing my nails. A few days later one of my nails broke in half (they fixed it for free) then two more days later another nail broke in half ... two broken nails for 67.00! Didn’t go back to get the second nail fixed because I’m just over it.

The staff is very attentive and kind. They strive to achieve the look you want. Everyone works together to make sure you are completely satisfied. The facility is very clean and all pedicure stations have fresh lined bowls which are disposed of after each use. This is huge for control of infection. The care they have put into the business shows I wouldnt go anywhere else!
I was quite impressed with this place! The atmosphere and the decor was very relaxing! The walls had many motivational quotes and very tasteful pictures. Everyone was very nice and helpful. There are various packages available with different price ranges to suit any ones desires. Their massage chairs were electronic and the most advanced ones Ive ever seen in a nail salon. I know I will be back again!
When I first looked at the pricing menu I thought it was a little expensive. It’s just more than what I’m used to paying. However by the time I was done I can see why. They are very friendly, very clean, they have many pedicure options, they even do the powdered manicures. Everyone I encountered was really friendly, especially Daisy!
Someone recommend this place for me because Im new to the area. I asked for a natural pedicure which cost $33 but the woman proceeded to do a mineral pedicure which was $60 I told her again what I wanted. She started the natural pedicure which seemed incomplete. She didnt cut my toenails even nor treat my cuticles which was all included. Never returning here.
Went to Kingdom Spa to get gel manicure Was very unhappy with the way the owner treated the customers and his employers.... if you want a successful business with happy employees then it starts by treating your staff like professionals so that it reflects on the public. I will NEVER go back to KINGDOM SPA again !!!
Clean, classy, attention to detail, value added items in service (pedi socks, beverage, snacks). Pedi is extremely relaxing; dont feel like Ive been run through an assembly line. Worth every cent.
I didnt have an appointment but was willing to wait for someone to do a refill for me. I was told it would be about 20 minutes. I ended up waiting an hour! The girl at the front desk told one of the ladies that work there that I was next and she flat out ignored her and went to the back to attend to someone else. I got up and left. They wont be seeing me in there again thats for sure.
One of the nail techs took extremely long doing a basic refill (almost 2 hours!) We were the last people in the shop. When finally finished he gave me a price, I paid and left.Two days later I see that my debit card had been charged almost DOUBLE!! When I called the store, they informed me that the nail tech used the wrong kind of nail powder and thats why they charged my card an extra $30 WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION!I have since found a better Nail Salon!!
Love the service and my favorite girl although sometimes you have to wait even if you have an appointment. Example if the last customer was late everyone down the line gets screwed over. Wish they could find a way to hold them accountable
The first bowl didnt get hot. Went to the second bowl she started my pedicure. Twenty minutes into my pedicure the other nail techs offered their clients wate . Soda or tea my tech still didnt offer me anything finally I asked for a water and she got up and got i . When my tech was done she took me over to the dryer so I can let my nails dry well Ive been here 15 minutes and she had not come back to check on me but as soon as I sat down the receptionist came over and took my paymen .
Best gel manicure Ive ever had. Its been 3 weeks and still no chipping or peeling. Despite the longevity of the gel, the prices are very high at this location

Very unprofessional service! I got a pedicure with a design on one toe as I always do. The nail technician Alex was horrible I advised him I wanted a design, which he couldnt do so he got some stickers that you get from dollar tree and put on as a design. This was totally unacceptable, but I was pressed for time to get to my sons graduation. I returned to the salon to get the design corrected and I got Alex again had a nerve to ask me what color when he could clearly see and he to get another tech to do the design and she allegedly didnt speak English. Finally I asked for a rhinestone on the design and another tech had a nerve to tell me it would be extra and I get a rhinestone and was never charged extra. I was a VIP but will never return there ever again every son e Daisy let it has been a Disaster!!!!!! save yourself from the disappointment.
I went to Kingdom Day Spa today and when I entered and upon signing in a guy asked my how can he help me . I advised him that I wanted to get eyebrows waxed and he said did I want a certain person to do them and I advised him yes, Daisy and he told me to go to the wax room so after waiting for 10 minutes. I finally asked someone did Daisy forget me and at that time I was advised that Daisy wasnt in today. This is unacceptable and I was very mad/upset with the service and being given wrong information. Finally, Karen came in to do my eyebrows and she had no personality, very rough with the waxing which I have never experienced with Daisy or any other staff, before I could get off the waxing table she was already tearing off the rolling paper and didnt ask if i liked the wax job and no thank you. This is the worst service that I have received from KDS!!!!!!

This is by far my favorite place to have my nails done. So many mani/pedi options to choose from, really nice staff, and very sanitary.
I always go here. I am from NJ but this place is so good, I love it! However today when I went I was sorely disappointed. I tried to explain why, and my manicurist (Scott) gave me so much attitude, he said, I have to apologize because you are the customer, but the apology never came. However his ego was clearly hurt, and he kept going on and on, until I said that whats done is done. To which he said if you didnt like my service my name is Scott. Next time tell them you dont want me and stormed off. I honestly felt so bad because I got so much attitude, even when I am a regular, and I had a $60 check. At least everyone else there is super nice. DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM SCOTT. I wasted my hard earned money on a manicure that I dont like, and got attitude for it, and now I have to look at the same manicure for the next 20 days. But please go here its a good place, and the rest of the staff is very nice. Scott however keep talking very loudly to the rest of the staff all the time, is curt and arrogant, and does not deliver.

My mother and I came here for a girls night/pedicures. I have been here once before for full set, but this was her first time. She was reluctant because she normally only goes to the one around the corner😱. I told her, this is how all salons should be and treat their clients. She was in love and said she couldnt wait to come back to try other pedicures. Thank you for your hospitality. My experiences with you guys has always been wonderful and Ive spent years in and out of this industry. Dont let the few people with sour attitudes and negative reviews get you down, just keep doing what your doing because it truly is a calming place with a pampering experience!

This spa was completely unsanitary, I was cut with an electric nail file and my nail technician took his dirty, unsanitized finger and pressed it onto my bleeding cuticle. When I asked to get up and wash my hand he told me no. After that I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He continued to give me a horrible, uneven, thin gel manicure that was over priced and not at all up to any standard. I could go on and on about how god awful the service was but I will digress by saying this is a unsanitary spa and I 100% do not recommend.
Worst nail salon ever. I visited with my mother and daughter. We requested manicure and pedicure. During my pedicure a client was really disappointed with her pedicure because it was awful. The same technician is was doing my pedicure she didnt treat my cuticles . It was really badd I requested someone else but it didnt got better. I paid 3 manicures and pedicures and now I need to go to another salon to redo my nails. My 7 years old daughter does a better job.
