Great instructors. They all work very well with the young ones. All the senseis are wonderful and know their sport. Whether you are a beginner or a black belt I really think these guys can take you to the next level!

FMA truly honors its name. This is a school where students and parents are treated like family, and not like just another person in the book. The instructors are amazing. My son is 5 years old and at first I thought it was going to be a difficult task to get him to pay attention to an entire class, because he is really a hyper boy, but the discipline that these instructors demand from the students, and at the same time, the respect that they treat the students with, makes all the difference. They make the classes fun enough to get the kids really interested, and that is the key to success. I couldnt be happier to be part of this incredible FAMILY

We have been going to this school for more than 5 years. My son started at 5 years old and from the beginning we loved the family environment. Senseis are very knowledgeable and teach important values. The competition team is always one of the best in all tournaments. Highly recommended for kids all ages.

My daughter and I had an excellent self-defense private class this morning with Kevin. I wish I had done this for all of my daughters and myself a long time ago. It not only promotes self defense, but self awareness, strength and empowerment. We are both going to continue with the classes. Highly recommend!

Upon visiting the school with a friend, I was really impressed by the professionalism of all the instructors and the excitement they inspired in their students. Parents and student display a friendly camaraderie, making me feel very much at home. Having earned my black belt in TKD almost 30 years ago (!!!), I could discern a high level of skill among the Academys students. Check them out!

Two of our 3 kids (7yo and 5yo) have been at this school for about 2 years. The instructors are committed, the facility provides adequate space for training, and they go out of their way to make sure your child is progressing while making them accountable. Good trading and teaches my kid a lot of important important life skills: integrity, discipline and respect. Coach Kevin has a great way with kids having fun while learning yet know when to get all the students in line.

My five year old son started attending the Family Martial Arts karate school just two months ago and already I see great improvement in his self-confidence, physical strength, and coordination. He is currently in the Little Dragons program, which teaches him martial arts, discipline, and self-defense. The class also helps develop concentration and a sense of responsibility. In regards to the administration, the school is well-organized and both Sensei Kevin and Sensei Bill have many years of training and experience which is evident in their ability to effectively teach their students martial arts techniques with diligence and great respect towards students and parents. The positive family environment of the school makes one feel welcomed and also allows parents the opportunity to observe their child as they perform their new martial arts skills and earn stripes upon their weekly evaluation. My husband and I are very grateful that we found a well-rounded and solid karate school for our son and we look forward to watching him grow and accomplish his karate goals.

My son and I have been going to FMA for several years now. Its a great family oriented environment where they provide instruction for all levels from the child who wants to compete (FMA regularly competes are local and state events where they excel) to the child that just needs some exercise and some help with focus. The instructors are always very helpful and if needed provide that one-on-one assistance. One thing I especially like about FMA is that they dont hand out belts, the kids have to earn them. Each child advances at their own pace and achieve their next belt when they are ready. My son is very proud of the belts he has earned based on hard work.As an adult, I enjoy the exercise thats never boring and has some practical use too.

We have been part of Family Martial Arts for over 2 years and we all love it. Its is a very family oriented environment. It is a a big family and best martial arts school.We have twins and each one has advanced according to their skills. They will personalize to each of the kids needs. One was invited to try out for the Elite Black Belt Club and made it!!!!Stripes and belts are earned not given. The boys work hard to improve skills and look forward to participate in the tournaments. July 2018 at the US Open the team earned 32 trophies . The Senseis have an incredible amount of experience and are always on top of the game.We have seen an improvement in discipline, coordination, balance and team playing among other things. Boys have learned to stand up against bullying.We will be part of FMA for a very long time.Thank you Senseis for all that you have taught and done for our boys!!!

These people are rude and do NOT demonstrate basic personal skills one would expect from people in martial arts. Not sure how they can teach discipline when they do not show it when dealing with the public.

I have so much to be grateful for because of Family Martial Arts. Both of my kids have been attending FMA for the last 9 years and have grown up to be fantastic, respectful and honorable young men in part because of the great role models they have in the Senseis at this karate school. Its easy to tell that we arent the only ones who think this martial arts school is a great place to choose on account of the many families who have also attended for many years. All the Senseis at FMA show great respect for martial arts and the students they teach. Im proud to be part of the FMA school martial arts school and you would be too.
