My relationship with Professor Rivero stems all the way back to our teenage years. We have trained and fought alongside eachother; and we obtained numerous accomplishments in the martial arts.Professor AJ is not only a great coach, He is a great friend and very caring individual. He will go out of his way to ensure that each technique is proper; as well as making sure youre daily life is intact. No matter the age, i highly recommend him to all individuals who are looking to stay in shape or compete with Jiu jitsu.

My kids LOVE this school! All the instructors and staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Professor AJ is one of a kind!!! The school is very family oriented and very united as a team and we are all a tight family. My kids have learned so much discipline as well as have so much fun. The adult sessions are extremely motivating and spending time with my kids while doing something they love is incredible. This place is the absolute best! 10/10 recommended.

Best experience ever! I had never before been into any sort of combat sport so this is all new to me but my girlfriend and I have been training Jujitsu with AJ and its been great everyone is so welcoming and really cares about improving your skill would recommend any one to come train at this school!

United Martial Arts is by far the best mma school in all of South Florida. No matter whether youre a novice or youre more advanced they welcome everyone with open arms and they treat you like family. AJ Rivero is by far the best instructor that I have ever come in contact with. He takes the time to teach you thoroughly and help you truly understand each aspect of the martial arts. If youre in the market to get in shape, learn a way to defend yourself or just looking to learn something new then this is the place for you! I highly recommend.

My husband and I take Jiujitsu at both the Tamiami and Doral locations. The instructor AJ is amazing with both kids and adults. The classes are for any age and fitness.My oldest started doing taekwondo at 3 and half years old. She loves it! She is now 5.So if you would like to learn self defense or just get into shape this is an awesome place and you will become part of a family while doing it.

Professor AJ and his team are the best! They are all very responsible with the kids and I would recommend them to any parent. They are always available to answer questions about the kids and quick to reply to messages or calls. My kids LOVE learning BJJ from AJ Rivero.

UMA has Great family atmosphere and Professor AJ caters to everyone no matter the age, size or ability. I recommend this school and this instructor. Amazing school for JiuJitsu, Kickboxing and TKD! My son is a Gamer and is not into sports but when it comes to JiuJitsu he is all in. We have been attending UMA since 2016 and have no complaints! AJ is one of the best professors there, he has a heart of Gold and is extremely understanding and patient with all especially the little ones! The owner Master Danny is also sweet,patient, and very knowledgeable in the Martial Arts field. Would definitely recommend this school if you are looking for a school with a great environment and a 2nd Family!

The best Taekwondo school in Miami. I have been part of this family since 2012 when they recently open for the first time in Doral, when my son was just 5 years old. They recently opened a new location in Tamiami and it has been the biggest blessing for me and my family as it is closer to our house and my sons school. I highly recommend it to any parent looking to have an extra curricular activity for their children.
