The head coach’s (Coach JB and coach Manny) are amazing! World class instruction is what many want but many don’t receive. Here at WMB you get it all and more! The way they run the classes and the way the Manager Sierra guides people through the joining process is all super impressive. Can’t explain how much I love coming here. Last year i enrolled my kids to begin training, I signed up to pay $175/month understanding this was for both kids. After my oldest child took one class, I was charged $350 + I had also bought the uniforms and equipment. I thought this was an error and it was close to the next month, so as I left messages to speak with someone, i got charged another $350. I quickly cancelled the classes and asked for a refund since there was a miscommunication as to the cost of the classes.I requested a refund, however I was told by the owner that the billing is done by an outside company and he has no control over the money billed. To resume, my daughter took one class, I was charged $700. And never received a refund.I had no problems with the staff, they were really nice.

My daughter has been going to WMB for over a year now, and the positivity, patience, and encouragement has made her feel like part of a family. Coach Sierra is a sweetheart, and Im grateful to Coaches Manny and David for the expertise, humor, and kindness that makes her look forward to training.

WMB has taught me so many things. They taught me how to defend myself against bullies, how to be confident, discipline and so much more! They will always treat you like family, i love it!

WMB is an amazing place for both children and adults. The staff and the instructors are very caring and patient. Both my daughters loved coming to WMB because of the instructors and the environment and would get upset if we couldn’t make it one day. They enjoyed learning new skills. WMB is a prefect place to learn self defense in different styles. Also I would recommend this over a gym any day because you’ll get the exercise needed. First off, the coaches are very helpful and they’ll take you step by step. They know what they’re doing. I take as much night classes possible and during my first month, I have learned a lot. My confidence is up and my body is in great shape. I recommend stop paying for a gym membership and come here to learn move that can save your life.

I have my three kids in classes (ages 6 to12), and they love it. The instructors are very kind, fun, and attentive to the kids, making sure the kids stay focused, enjoy the class, and learn the techniques properly. The staff also focus on kids doing good outside of class. This is a very professional and family friendly place. Highly recommend.

As someone who grew up in the martial arts, l know a high quality school when I come across one. My kids are enrolled and we couldnt be happier. I dont think there is a word in the dictionary that can describe how amazing and special this place is. My son is 10 years old and joined WMB almost 2 years ago. With a son newly diagnosed with ADHD and Aspergers my son has flourished and has found his confidence and something that he truly loves. I have spoken to the coaches about issues in school or bullying or grades or even behavior and the support and overall love they have for the kids is priceless. I have been to many places and my kids hated going. At WMB my son has made friends and has found something he is good at and feels a part of a team. The summer camp is unique and educational. I personally look forward to my sons classes and we belong there. If you want that interpersonal relationship and results and a positive atmosphere then this is the place you need to be. Now, my 7 year old daughter started 2 weeks ago. After trying a class and becoming a part of the WMB family she asked me to pull her out of dance and gymnastics! So now we are a full-time WMB family and I would not trade it for anything in the world!

This center has been like a second home for my son since he started training 2 years ago; he has grown and developed in so many ways thank you to all the hard work, discipline and invaluable knowledge of their coaches. In WMB, the coaches are role models, they not only teach martial arts, but moral and ethical values that Im sure will guide our kids for the rest of their life.

My 8 year old daughter wanted to take martial arts classes so I started looking for a gym. After looking at several martial arts gyms in my area and not having a good feeling about any of them. We decide to go to WMB even though it was a 25 minute drive for us. A friend of mine took her children there and she was happy with the gym. They had exactly what I as a parent was looking for, caring people that are interested in the children as a whole. I have both my daughters 8 and 4 going there now and they absolutely love it. They cant wait to go to their classes and my oldest has gotten more self confidence from going to WMB. JB is a great coach and shows great interest in the kids, teaching them things not even relating to martial arts before and after class. Coach Sierra is the face you see when you come in the office always warm and greeting everyone walking through the door. All the Daves are incredible coaches and really love what they do and take great interest in the kids. I Love this place!

Absolutely the best school ever!!! Switched my kids to WMB from another school and definitely made the right decision. The coaches are fantastic the staff is excellent. I cant say enough great things. JB is an amazing coach and leader, he is tough, and extremely involved with the kids. He notices the kids strengths and weaknesses, and works on building up the kids like I have never seen before. My kids and my husband enjoy training at WMB, it has made them bond on a whole other level.

The gym exceeded my expectations, each sports trainers are motivated and very experienced, all the coaches handle excellent techniques and good methodology. Children know what is expected of them and they strive to achieve the goals at each level. You see a group of children who are motivated, happy and with great self-esteem. My twins loves training here we began coming to WMB in early Jan of 2017, they’re 5 years old. We have seen a great amount of improvement in both of our children. The instructors are very patient with the kids while still maintaining discipline. WMB has instilled many other life skills like self-defense, respect for one another and focus. All the teachers are very approachable, loving, friendly, always listen to our opinions and share their thoughts, but most importantly, their compassion for the kids and the encouragement they provide. I give WMB Jiu Jitsu my highest recommendation. Have your child try a class, you will be glad you did! WMB is family!

Perfect Martial Arts for all levels kids and adults. My kids have thrived in all parts of their lives thanks to the principals and discipline learned here. Summer camp for kids has to have the best most creative Curriculum in Miami. The adult training spans from beginners to professional fighters and the trainers and coaches are the most knowledgeable and advanced I’ve ever learned from.

I wanted to write a spectacular review for WMB, but as you can see from all the other reviews, it would just get lost in a sea of positivity. Instead, I will give those doing research some advice. You owe it to yourself and/or your children to be involved with the very best training you can get. How do you know you are getting the very best training? Well, the fact is that if you are not familiar with Martial Arts, then you just dont know. Even if you are familiar with Martial Arts, it can sometimes be difficult to discern the real from the fake. Here are some of the questions you can ask yourself, the gym owner or the other members. Does the training provide a level of physical exertion that forces muscle adaptations and cardio vascular improvements? Do the instructors engage on a one on one basis and require precision with the techniques being taught? Do instructors provide feedback during and after class? Does the school curriculum allow for progression? Are the classes split into levels of experience and age groups? Does the school allow for you to test what you have learned in a controlled environment? Does the school have a competition team that promotes competition at the local, regional, national and world levels? Does the school produce champions on a consistent basis? These are just basic questions that a quality gym should be able to answer with a yes to most, if not all. However, what makes WMB the best goes way beyond the basics. The people that work at WMB are a tight knit family and when you join the academy, they want you to be a part of that family as well. They care about the behavior of your children during training and while in school. They want your children to be an ambassador to you, WMB and to Martial Arts as a whole. My 3 children absolutely love walking into the gym everyday going on 4 years now! It is truly their home away from home.There are several things that separate WMB from the rest of the Martial Arts Schools out there today.Being a teacher myself, I truly understand how difficult it can be at times to work with children, and yet I’m constantly impressed with how well the coaches continuously connect and motivate the students. The Coaches are extremely qualified and work well with children of all ages and needs. The Coach to Student ratio is always 4-1 to 6-1.No child is left out.NO other Martial Arts School offers this!At WMB it’s not just about Jiu jitsu and Muay Thai, the coaches focus on the students themselves and their overall development, striving for each child to become a leader in his or her own way.And if that’s not enough, my kids have won at the World Level!I wouldn’t trust my children anywhere else!

The teachers are good but there are too many students, classes are delegated to the more advanced students and they can be very repetitive. Kids lose motivation because there is no belts advance system

Hands down the best BJJ/Muay Thai instruction in all of Miami. Classes are tailored for age groups and usually never more than 4 students per instructor!!! Having been places where it is common to see 1 instructor attempt to teach 30 people it is like night and day! If you’re a competitive bjj athlete, just wanna get in shape or just want to have self defense knowledge . Wmb is for you!!!

Cesar has been a student of this great academy for more than 1year. He has developed in so many ways, it’s incredible. The skills he has learned, not only in jiujitsu but in life’s journeys, have helped him in school and at home as well. If there was 100 stars! I would rate WMB with 100 stars! From the 1st day my son started he loved it! Wmb is amazing, the coachs are extremely nice and they are wonderful with kids of all ages! There is no other mma school I would put my son in. WMB is the place to be! They welcome you with open arms. I cant wait to even put my 2month old baby to be 3yrs old so he can start!

Perfect place for our children!!! Teaching them self-confidence, how to defend themselves AND avoid fights!------------------------We originally started our children at another place, it closed down.After that, brought to another place and they had 28 kids for one instructor! Saw kids getting hurt so we went to another place.That third place allowed their students to bully and ridicule other students in class! Horrible!By this point, our kids have been training for about a year, we heard about WMB, and even though its over a 30 minute drive for us, we gave it a shot since it was recommended. The WMB students that had half the experience could beat our kids in the beginning.. the details and fundamentals were awesome! At first one of our kids were nervous because of the intensity, our other children jumped right in, after awhile, the one that was nervous is one of the top students for her age lolRatio of instructors to students is amazing. Dicsipline level is fantastic!On top of it all, my kids will ask JB (the owner/main instructor - who is very hands-on) how to handle certain situations they are faced with at school - he gives excellent advice, so we encourage it.Exactly one year later and we are still more than happy to continue the long drive back and forth to bring our children there!

World class Jiu jitsu, MMA, Muay Thai instruction!!! I can say this gym has made an amazing impact on my life. Since starting Im 80 pounds down and hungry to learn more. Wmb is an area where you can train and meet your goals if its losing weight or getting better at a specific sport that you teach there if its muay thai, jiu jitsu, or kick boxing etc.here its not just a gym its a new family that supports you in everything you do.

I have trained at a few gyms in South Florida, and I can tell you without a doubt that WMB is the very best gym in the South Florida area. From my very first day I felt very welcome, and everyone there from the coaches to the team members were not only eager to train, teach, and learn, but they were also willing to give me tips during there own time. I was so impressed by the gym that I decided to enroll my 7 year old daughter in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai.The head coaches are very knowledgable and work very well with children to help them understand the techniques as well as the history of the martial arts. We feel like part of movement training with our partners and doing are best to help one another get better and achieve our goals. In the time that weve been training at WMB we have both seen substantial changes in our technique. The moment my daughter got on the mats she took to both Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu like a duck to water. Coach Dave Gomez, and Coach JB teach her and the other kids in a way that they not only understand but retain the knowledge and understand the importance of the lesson being taught. The Assistant Coaches do a wonderful job with the kids as well. You can see their love for the Martial Arts through the way they interact with everyone, not only during training but off the mats as well. There have been several moments where Ive asked the Assistant Coaches to help me or my daughter with a specific technique and they are always more than happy to aid us in our understanding.There is a reason WMB is the best in South Florida, and it resides inside the entire Coaching Staffs love of the arts and their desire to pass on their knowledge to anyone who is willing to learn.

The competition team produces champions. The Brazilian and very Thai jiu jitsu classes are great and the atmosphere is always clean.
