Sig and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. We got unlucky but Sig did everything in his power to make up for that, even let us try kite fishing. Overall great trip and great boat. Would definitely go again!

5 stars... had an excellent trip. Constant fish action and some fish to bring home. Both Capt. Sig and 1st Mate were helpful and fun. Kyle hustles and always keeps working, so kept us in the action the whole trip. Will be back.

Reckless Captain, purposefully endangering divers in the water. Assuming alcohol was involved as flicking off a boat full of children as they run full speed past seems to be enjoyable for this group. Much better options to enjoy our waters than with a drunk.

Hot Shot Charters is the best! We had an amazing morning on beautiful seas, and Captain Sig could not have been a more gracious, knowledgeable, and fantastic captain. His mate was incredible, too, and they both really made the trip. The boat is spacious, very clean, and an incredible place to learn about deep sea fishing. Our ages ranged from 8 to 74 and we all had an incredible time! I highly recommend Hot Shot Charters!!

Had a great time out with my friends and Captain Sig on the Hot Shot. The fish come when you least expect it, but the action is great once you find them. Captain Sig knows how to find the fish. We caught about 20 Mahi and a few other smaller fish. The boat is fast and roomy - perfect for the charter. The Hot Shot kept us dry during a brief rainstorm, which was a huge advantage over the many center counsel charters. It was a great trip overall and would endorse the Hot Shot to anyone looking for a good fishing charter in Miami.

Captain Sig is a consummate professional charter boat captain. Our multiple charters of his top notch vessel, the Hot Shot, have all been fun, safe & educational. The excitement of catching whatever fish was running during the season was a rewarding experience enjoyed by everyone in our fishing party. We have chartered Hot Shot with novices in our party and with experienced fisherman in our party - without question, we always had a challenging and exciting day on the water catching fish. Captain Sigs and his Mates attention to: detail, diligence, safety and professionalism are leaps and bounds above most of his peers. The end result of our multiple Hot Shot charters has always been a fun, safe, educational and exciting day on the water catching fish with a knowledgeable Local S. I am from Miami, well mostly, but still had never had a chance to go fishing till this last week. Sig, came highly recommended from the community and deservedly so. Sig was wonderful. Four other friends and I had the time of our life. We caught plenty of fish, which Sig filleted and packed up for us. The 6 hours flew by. Sig and his first mate made this such a memorable experience. Thank you so much Sig! We will definitely be back next year. Cheers!

Worst deep sea fishing experience ever due to horrible captains behaviour and attitude: rude, pushy towards tips despite our bad experience, finally reduced our time for fishing to 1h30 only without notice, and so on....a pity as his crew was okay. Strongly recommend to avoid Hot shot charters! I went deep sea fishing many times in Miami and Key Largo so will not go again with Hot Shot Charters for sure!

We love the Sig and the crew at Hot Shot. We met them early in the morning and they took care of everything for us from soup to nuts. Within just a few minutes we were catching bait and in search of some serious fish in the Bay. We caught a good 15 fish and took home about 75 pounds of filets. What a great experience as a whole, well be booking and visiting again really soon!

Overall trip experience was ok..... till the end. One major thing you should be aware of if thinking about using this charter is the captain pressures you into giving him a 20% gratuity charge on top of the cost of the trip. Once the trip was over he directly told me he was charging my card for the service AND THE TIP? I was thrown off guard because i asked him prior to the trip if the $800 i was paying for the trip included everything, which he said it YES. So i was not going to argue with him and said i would pay cash for the tip rather then the card. Seeing that he owned the boat I thought that a $50 tip was good. I handed him the $50 and looked at me and said what this? He then handed it back!!!! and said you have to be kidding me 20%($160) is the minimum for the service he provided, which i thought was VERY unprofessional. the only positive to the trip is he has a nice first mate and we did catch some fish. the situation at the end made made the whole trip experience very displeasing.

The fishing was great. The boat was spacious and a very comfortable ride. I will come to Miami again and come back to fish with the Hot Shot. Next time i want to bring with me others friends to share with them this fantastic experience.Thanks Capitan Sig, Ill see you soon.

Great fishing! Great time! Captain Sig knows his stuff.The boat was very clean and comfortable. We went with 4 people and 12 beers!We left early in the morning on a clear calm day, passed a light house, dolphins, sailboats and then nailed the fish! Hooked two sailfish then when further out for mahi mahi. The mate was very professional, seemed that we always had a fish on the rod fighting. We counted 14 as they came in the boat.We were back in and just got our land legs back under us when they had our fish cleaned, filleted and bagged! Dinner for quite a few nights and gave some to the neighbors. Highly recommend the Hot Shot.

My girlfriends and I just came back from fishing on the Hot Shot Charter and had an amazing time. We caught some tuna and mahi mahi, the best part is that we get to take it home clean and fillet. Capt Sig and mate Tanner were very professional and caring. Capt Sig sure knows where to go get fish. On the Hot Shot you get that feeling of gone fishing. The boat is big and great to hand out as well. My friends and loved it so we will be coming back in a few weeks for more fish and sushine. Thank you Hot Shot!!

Worst charter boat i have ever been on. Been fishing florida for years, won the greater miami sword fish tournament and others worked with many captains. This captain is the worstI recommend skip this ugly little skivvy and looking into the GREAT WHITE out of the holiday isle marina in Islamorada. Rude nasty fowl mouthed, he is nothong but troubleAvoid this dinghy.
