The experience was different being that it was completely virtual but it worked flawlessly. The price was considerably better than other rental agencies. The only down-side is that it’s not attached to the airport however the shuttle promptly picked us up. I would definitely use them again in the future.
Scam vibes all around. Everything is done via a remote agent. You have to scan your license and credit card. There’s fee after fee after fee. You’re not able to use your own toll pass and, even if you have insurance that covers rentals, they make you take out their own insurance. There’s also a fee, I’d you want a lower deposit. The deposit is $1000, which is insane. The place is hard to find and they discourage you from parking there, but rather go to the airport to get a shuttle. We heard a man next to our booth complaining about fees he was told weren’t going to be charged, but now that he’s returning the rental, they’re charging him for it. Needless to say, we cancelled the whole thing and went somewhere else. It seems cheap, but with all the fees, you’re safer going to Hertz or another reliable car rental.
I rented a vehicle a few days ago and literally everything was super fast and very efficient, the remote assistance service is something marvelous and quick thats one of the best parts of this establishment itself. The car that I rented a 2020 Chrysler it felt like a brand new car and was extremely cleaned. I will definitely rent again on my next visit to Miami.You guys rock!
THEY HAVE 1 star reviews for a reason!!!! The company is a scam and a sham. They force you to take out 1,000,000 in liability insurance and you cannot decline it. This is illegal. I consulted a local attorney in Miami and was told that they get away with it by stating that you agreed to the insurance. SEE THE PHOTO. It clearly says Florida resident requirements.This was posted in the little room with the screen where you talk to someone through a webcam. I am not a Florida resident. The car I was given wobbled, had bad brakes and made a loud noise over 45 MPH. I tried to call them to exchange the vehicle and they hung up on me each time. I returned the car early and they are saying they are not refunding any of the money I paid!!! I have disputed this with my credit card and will see. I found out they only have 6 cars and they are all high mileage, poorly maintained, old and junk. They get you in with lower prices but they force charges on you that raise the price above what the major companies charge. Just stick with the ones in the airport, there is a reason they office inside Park N Fly parking, they have no staff on site, you talk to someone through a web cam, you cant see what you are signing and then they may or may not send the contract to your email.

Run away as fast as you can. Give these people not one bit of your information. It was supposed to be 270$ for our rental. First lie when we get there. Your platinum elite master card is not a major credit card. We need to hold 500. Then we need to charge you 489 for the rental. Not the 270 booked through trip advisor. So we’re at 1000 buck. Then 3 day after we get back they charge my card again. 489. Now we’re at 1500. So no refund on deposit and additional credit card charge. I have to go get all this settled with the bank. Run run run. Or you too will be sorry.

This had to be Thee WORST car rental experience of my life! I tried to forget and not even bother with commenting on their horrible service...but, 2 months later this pops up, so...Why Not!? To begin, let me say I made a reservation more than 1 week in advance for the largest SUV to accomodate 5 people and asked for a shuttle from the airport to the rental car for 6am since our plane arrived at 530. Yup, You guessed it! NO SHUTTLE. We literally 2 hours for a shuttle to arrive only to get to the contactless rental place to find I have NO CAR available.After waiting over 30 min, they have me pay as if to say, we found a comparable vehicle only to find that the keys would not drop from the contactless key bin. Of course there was No physical person to help! They simply canceled my reservation after paying and told me to have a good day! I would never in my life rent from this place again. I would rather walk! Most horrible business on the face of this earth with extremely rude personnel! Not one manager to fix the situation or accommodate the horrible service. NEVER AGAIN!

If I could leave a negative zero star I would. This company is rude and unprofessional. Yesterday we rented through a telecom due to no contact with an individual which is there process. The price we book for was completely different once we arrived as well as added fees. The representative told us one price and after we paid the $500 deposit he changed the price to an higher amount. He argued back and forward stating we was wrong. Finally after pleading to speak to management we requested she listen to the call and we was correct he said one price then changed it. Nothing was done about this matter. After receiving the vehicle we notice a small blunt was in a plastic bag with some black mask. Take a look at the picture. We immediately called and was directed to send the picture to the company number that is attached to this picture. We was told they would give us a call back,credit, and swap out the car due to the danger they put us in. Here we are the next day and no one has called us back. We called and spoke with Frank who basically told us he wasn’t going to do anything and to hang up and call back to speak with someone else. Our response is why are you transferring us to another peer instead of management? He wouldn’t help us and hung up the phone. This place is horrible and will put your life in danger. They don’t have a real customer service number and handle business in a fraudulent manner. I am highly disappointed and hope everyone sees this message and decides to go elsewhere.

When you arrive at the airport you are met with a shuttle that takes you to the office, where you are served in a virtual kiosk, it is quite innovative. I rented an Equinox, it was very clean and in good condition. I had a great weekend thanks to 4less friends
I went to visit my family in Miami with my husband last week and we rented a Corolla. I really liked the virtual service, it was fast and easy. The car was very well taken care of, I will definitely rent again with 4less.
I wish I could leave -10000 stars with this company! They charge way more than what they lead on and on top of that they charged the card when we made the reservation online . We got the email with the layout of charges and everything was ready but once we went to pick up they charge again and about 5 times more than what we already paid! We where told it’s for fees and tolls and insurance and what not but to go from 208 with fees and taxes to 1,000 is insane!! Never again will we use this company! Please save yourselfs from these crooks! Yes they said once we prove we where charged the 208 they will refund that which in my opinion isn’t any help since they charged us 1000 sure we will get the deposit back but it’s still 2 more than what we where charged for the rental! I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH PLEASE USE ANY OTHER RENTAL COMPANY THAT STRAIGHT UP TELLS YOU ALL OF THE FEES AND WHAT NOT!!I ignored the other reviews and thought they can’t be that bad now I see I was very wrong! Oh and they also like to play the victim once their called out on these hidden fees and they say it’s all under terms and conditions and the email that confirms the reservation is only a quote but yet the card is charged!! By the way I reread the terms and conditions it only says there’s extra charge for added drivers and a deposit between 1- 5000 depending on the kind of vehicle. There is no other explanations of the other fees they charge for... they will scam you! They say their trying to improve their customer service straight up BS!Reply - sun pass is not listed the so called quote is way off and all those other fees not listed as well I have read and reread everything to make sure I haven’t missed something I even had someone else read them out loud and still no mention of those extra fees! If you where truly sorry please list all them hidden fees for future customers! I can’t be so many customer have the SAME complaint!

Was told one price. Got there and it was completely different. Was also told that in Florida, rental cars “HAVE” to be licensed. After renting with the must less cheaper Enterprise, we found out that’s not true. Staff weren’t any help. Save yourself some problems and go to enterprise. Cheaper, better selection, better service. Just better!
Scam alert! He is absolutely fraudulent. How he has not been arrested (yet) is baffling. Charged $700 for nonexistent ‘damage’. Amex & our insurance company finally confirmed his bogus charge & reimbursed us. Run to someone else! (And if not convinced, look at reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp.)
If I could issue a lower rate I would. Complete bait and switch. I was given a price of $203 for a few days rental in Miami which was advertised as including taxes and fees. $175 was due on pickup which was the amount listed on my confirmation email. When I landed from my flight and tried to pickup the car, they said I owed $323 plus a required $400 security fee and they would also not use the credit card I used to make the booking. What an absolute joke. BUYER BEWARE! I’ve used rental car companies dozens of times and have never dealt with anything like this before.
Terrible experience. Hidden fees!!! Be careful. Their web prices are completely fake. They take advantage of tourists. We waited for more than 1 hour for the blue van to pick us up at the airport, you get to the counter inside a dirty office, broken ceiling and signs of remodeling the building. Then, on the counter, they tell you the “real” prices. Once you are not at the airport anymore, no other rentals near that place, you’ll have no better choice than accepting whatever they want to charge you. After that, they send us the wrong pictures of the car. We spent 30 more minutes trying to fix the problem! Horrible experience!

This place is a shady. They refuse to give me my deposit back and refuse to give me an explanation as to why. Every time Ive called they said they would send me an invoice. The invoice says other charges: $1000 - what? Will be taking legal action. Also, I topped off my gas less than a mile away from the drop off, so how was I charged $36? Dont rent from these scammers.
This is my second rental from rent a car for less this year. I have found the shuttle service to be a huge plus in that it keeps you away from the multi rental company shuttle. B4 you know it you are at their Fll facility and dealing with an efficient and pleasant virtual agent. The whole process is painless and vehicles excellent, will rent again!

Horrible service, they never answer the phone, it’s 2021 they rented me a high mile damage, dirty 2019 vehicle. They make you purchase supplemental Liability for $20.00 per day if you don’t have a million dollars in liability. Plus they take $1000.00 deposit on your credit card
This company is absolutely the worst! My husband and I flew to Miami to celebrate our anniversary! I booked through Orbiz for my car rental! I booked for 2 days and purchased collision damage which I always do when renting a car. My total came out to $264 for everything! There was no mention of a $500 deposit and a additional $132 on the website but later found out when I arrived to this run down facility the following day. We were picked up by a blue shuttle bus whom the driver was very friendly and helped us with our bags. Upon arrival to this facility my husband was told that there could only be one person in the room to talk with the virtual agent! I stood outside the glass door confused as to why they were asking so many questions because everything was completed online! When came out and told me about the additional charges I was furious and we both went back to talk to the virtual agent which made us more confused but she stated that our deposit would be returned and the additional $132 was required to rent the vehicle! After this I had a bad feeling about this! So we get the keys to our vehicle and when we saw our car we were in disbelief! They put us in a black older model Altima that didn’t have gps.The car was clean but there were scratches and dents all over! We took pictures and sent them to an email that was on our contact! Here’s the kicker, as we drove the car off the lot the car was jumping and bumping down the road! We called to report it and the guy who answered the phone stated that there was nothing he could do and that he did not have a replacement. The bumping stop the longer we drove! We got to the hotel we were staying at about 15 miles away! We parked the car in a nearby garage which charged $20 a day and that’s where the car sat for 2 days! We walked everywhere! Thank God everything was close by! We returned the vehicle just how we got it! Get an email later stating that we owe $870 in damages! Even though I know this is a scam, we had renters insurance which covers collision and damage! Waiting to see what they do about this! I want my $500 deposit back! I will spread this on all media forum that I have and take legal action!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. This place is a complete scam and all the positive reviews are obviously friends and family of the owners - notice the same broken English as the owners’ replies. I found the deal via another site and they didn’t really say the company name so I couldn’t look it up before I agreed to the rental. I paid $35 via discovercar.com which was supposed to go toward my $150 total cost to rent an SUV. (2 days). When I arrive at the location, it’s a dilapidated office shared with a parking lot and you have to enter one of two small booths which they tell you to close the door behind you. The booth is extremely hot and you speak to a lady on a monitor and have to adjust a mini camera on the desk for them to view your drivers license and credit card. As soon as she starts to tell you what’s going on it makes you want to back out but due to how hot the room is you just want to hurry up and get it over with plus there’s no other rental businesses there so you’re almost stuck. I was a half hour after my reservation time (even though I paid deposit) and they said my SUV wasn’t available so they have to upgrade me to a bigger SUV for a higher price. Now I’m at about $250. They also said what I paid via the website did not go toward their cost because it must have been a “website fee” even though the website clearly states it goes toward your balance. They asked me if I wanted to buy insurance I said no I have my own, they said to use your own insurance your security deposit will go from $300 to $1000. I was hot so I agreed. When I get the invoice it was closer to about $300 and I was being charged $15 per day for insurance even though I had my own. The lady at the desk said it’s because your insurance wasn’t for a million dollars, even though they didn’t check my policy or even asked. Anyways I can go on an on about the invoice such as how they wanted $2 per every mile after 50 and didn’t tell us that before but I’m going to cut to the chase. When me and my 2 friends went outside they tried to give us a 12 passenger church van. This was the upgraded SUV. I’m in south beach with 2 friends for vacation and they bring me a 12 passenger church van. I made the lady cancel my order and decided to Uber for my trip.

Shady business that will charge you tons of hidden fees. If you try to dispute anything, they will say it’s written in fine print in the contract that you already signed. Worst customer service and management with 0 ethics. Would not recommend to anyone, ever.

I rented the car with this company, they don’t support you at all. The car came with battery issues and I’ve tried to call and they refuse to answer or help. When I tried to rent the car online they give you one price, when you get there the price is completely different. I wouldn’t even recommend them to my worst enemy. The car wasn’t working before and could’ve led us to an accident and putting my family and I at risk. This completely ruined my trip and it’s a terrible small business. With this company there is a partner company call AcoRentals who don’t even have a manager at the shop to help you. It’s a completely abandoned area.
The worst rental companyI booked through Travelocity and paid up front, when I got there they needed a 1000 deposit and another 180 on top of the 212 I already paid. They gave me a 2 door car that could only fit my luggage. I looked at my contract that said booked for 4 door so they gave me a 2018 Nissan that another customer turned down because it was not in that goof shape, after waiting over an hour and threatening to cancel they gave me the Nissan that the other customers did not want.
You really should be able to give negative stars on this. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I should have known better when we got to this place, everyone ignored us and their was nobody to help. I finally had to ask someone and a guy pointed and said Over there. So he watched us go to the wrong area and said nothing to us. We finally got to where we needed to be and found out there were extra charges and insurances that if you dont get a certain package they will take a $1,000 dollar deposit from you. Should have walked out but after 8 hrs of flying we just wanted to get this over with. When we returned the vehicle the office was not open so we parked the car in the lot and left the keys in the drop box. When I got home from my flight back, I received an email from them stating that the vehicle smelled like smoke. Mind you neither myself or my girlfriend smoke and nobody else was in the car. This company scammed me and charged me $250 for this. I guarantee you there would have been no charge if we dropped the vehicle off and they inspected it in front of us. Do not rent from these crooks because there is no way to prove that you did not smoke in the vehicle. Expedia.com should be ashamed to be affiliated with these dirt bags.Update- 4-05-21 not sure how your going to investigate this further when you didnt give me a contact number or ask for any more information. Total scammers dont rent from them.
I liked to rent there. The pick up in the airport was fast and easy, and I was treated very well and given a really good car. I would definitely rent again with this company.

Horrible service. I went through Expedia and paid for everything up front. Get to my destination to get car and I am told I need 1 million dollars for liability coverage and my insurance does not cover that much. Had to pay 79 dollars for there extra insurance. Was told that I had to pay a credit card charge fee of $60 for using my card. Was told that I had to leave a deposit of $600 and will be returned when car is returned. $600 was taken out of my account. Now I have to wait for them to return my $600. Who knows when. Mistakenly passed a toll unknowingly and for a 1.75 toll I was charged $50. Which they only have to pay the 1.75. So a car rental that was for 150 dollars end’s up being $300 and waiting on my $600. Never again. Buyer beware !!! No scruples, Misleading
BEWARE, I rented a vehicle from this place, it was all lies when i picked it up. Forced me into a car that was deemed unsafe. Once I got to highway speeds, the car was shaking violently, the check engine light came on numerous times and the owner of Rent4less even admitted that the vehicle did have issues but it shouldnt be a concern, I drove with my 6month old child and she thought it would be ok to put a customer on the road in this unsafe car, stay away!!!

How do you have a name Rent a Car for Less but you’re charging almost double the price of your competitors? Then when I asked where does unless why you come in it you have no answer! That’s red flag number one, and that’s enough real flags for me to look elsewhere!
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. The company is shady and customer service is horrible. I rented a car for a month, which wasn’t cheap and upon arrival the car they promised wasn’t available. I waited for hours to speak to someone and the customer service rep kept hanging up the phone and then stopped answering all together. After finally getting the car they messed up the paperwork and I had to return it earlier even though I paid for an entire month. Customer service reps are a NIGHTMARE! They do not listen to your requests and will just hang up when they don’t have the answers. Save yourself your time and money.
Booked online per previous reviews, which were great. Took a shuttle from the airport to the rental car office, and arrived at a construction site instead of rental car office, and had to deal with a TV screen receptionist for about 45 minutes. Once we received service, via the tv screen receptionist, (with the jack hammers and construction noise rendering the conversation useless), we were told that they did not have the vehicle we reserved and that we would have to take a small car for the same price as what we prepaid. Also, rental car company doesn’t accept any 3rd party insurance, only their own, which is not mentioned until you are picking up car, so do not think your personal insurance is good. This insurance, which isn’t mentioned Is an extra $400. Which is completely ridiculous, absurd. We were offered a 15 passenger van that we had to return within 24 hours in Ft. Lauderdale which is not Miami in the slightest. We refused any further service and demanded a full refund, which was granted to us. Thankful for that, but we wasted 4 hours of our time/vacation dealing with this nonsense.
If there was a 0 rating this place would get it. Customer service sucks, bad attitude and they tried to jack on almost $3000 in additional fees.

This place is the BIGGEST SCAM That I ever experienced.The people that work there are EXTREMELY RUDE. They did not refund the 250 deposit and the argument was that I smoked in the car. They did not send my receipt. I found out that the deposit won’t be refunded two weeks later and that is because i check my bank statement, they did not notify me about it. Also on the check in email they did not include the mileage and the fuel level was marked as full but the reality is the fuel level was half way. Then i got to talk to the “ owner” who refused to give me his name. He was trying to offer me a refund of only half but that unacceptable.This was my second time renting with them because is really cheap but i guess that why the can afford to keep the prices low.

SCAM !!! The Miami Beach rental car doesn’t exist anymore. Their website and google states thEY Are still operating but they don’t, I booked online and found out when picking up the car that the office doesn’t exist !!! Phone number provided does not work. When I finally manage to reach their other branch (airport) I end up with a lady speaking poor English, explaining me that it is not her problem. AVOID AT ALL COST. PS: apparently they are specialist in answering google comments by « oh ! I think you must be mistaken car rental company, we don’t see you in our system» so I am waiting for mine ! so cheap ! AVOID

The worst place to rent a car!!!! A nightmare experience, over priced cars, extra hidden charge when you get to pick up the car the insurance that you actually buy is useless at the time to pick up the car because is not even what you really need plus my reservation was at 9 am and at 9:45 I was still waiting for my car to come fro Fort L. My highest recommendation go somewhere else or ask first how much is going to be in total before even get there, 0 costumer service.

Impeccable car rental service! The customer service that Willie and Nico bring to the table is amazing. They really know their way around the city when I asked for places to to go out. I rented a Camaro for my girls and I and everything in the car was up to par, very well maintained. Let me not fail to mention the prices!!!! There were no mimics behind it or extra charges, what they tell you is what you get. I definitely will be coming here again if I ever need to rent a car. Great job!!
I got a nice new car Chevrolet Sonic for 834$ per month (November 2014) in a high season thank to a nice people who works in a Rent A Car 4Less Miami ! Didnt have any problems to give back the car I got my deposit in short time. Also had a nice conversation with good people.One thing Id like to advise to a new costumer is looking attentively at the car which they take and mark any defects!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER nobody at there office, we called several time, when we told about the reservation, the lady cut the line... not once, not twice, bit three times in a row. We were left in florida with no car, and nobody from this company has the ability or the skills needed to give customer service or simply tried to help us, they did nothing. Only reason Im giving 1 star is because theres not an option of no stars & I got a full refund without any penalties. Otherwise, this place is an absolute joke & a scam. If theres anything I can pass along to the next person even thinking about renting from here is... STOP, DONT DO IT!
We reserved well in advance for a week long at Rentacar 4 Less in South Beach; the experience was great. The service (both advance via email and in person) was wonderful, with all my questions answered and very helpful employees specially Willy that was very helpful since day one thru the end. The car was ready for us, it was equipped with GPS, charges were as quoted---no complaints. I would certainly rent from them again.
Worst place ever . Do not recommend no customer service . Lady was training and still being rude and argued back with me . Then told me she canceled my car rental. I’m stuck at this place with no where to go now . The lady was so rude very disappointed. Never coming here again .

It’s the same girl answer the phone to Miami and Fort Lauderdale, when the door of the store is closed you have to call. When you said you have a reservation she close the line.Very Bad experience. Impossible to talk with the manager or something else. It’s not possible in personne the door is locked during the bissness hours.
This place is scam, they force you to pay $50 extra per day for insurance, despite having insurance and they force you NOT optional to pay $14.99 for tolls daily regardless of using the highway. Illegal business, should be reported.
Horrible! Did not even get to rent a car and the staff of 2 different girls i spoke with were very unproffesional, rude & non respondents. Mis informed from beggining. Tried to follow up & the girl/old woman hung up on me. So disappointed. Felt avoided without even knowing them. Just Horrible! Smh
To me its been a good experience renting from Rent a car 4 less. Reasonable prices. Personnel very reliable. Ill rent again from them.

This is more like mechanic Shop not a rental car you better update the pictures, bad customer services, car with out some things like back up images and horn did not work dirty cars, bad experience.
Rent a car 4 less is the best option in Miami. They are so friendly and responsable. Before you arrive to Miami, you can call them and reserve your car, and they will be waiting for you to give you the best options . They have everything kind of cars for every kind of clients, from luxyry cars to familiar cars. Every time when I’m in miami, I just call them. In my opinion they have the best prices in the market place. Clean cars., friendly people, excellent places to pick up the car. I have 4 years coming to Miami and I have 4 years renting a car there. Ernesto is a guy who always have been helping me, If you want a good deal, just call this rent a car and ask for Ernesto. He will give you the best price and he knows how make a great deals for his clients.
Beware of their service! If you read the reviews, you will find that a couple of reviewers mention Dave Bernal as an employee of the company.... If you read along the list of reviewers, you will find DAVE BERNAL giving a wonderful review of the company as if he was a customer. This speaks of a DISHONEST company.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!! This company quoted me a price and I paid that exact cost at the time of rental but 2 weeks later took money from my bank claiming that they had made an error in my price and so they just took more from my account. I suggest DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD DETAILS as this could happen to you. I exchanged emails with them but they have refused to pay me back what they took without my authorisation.

I rented a car in this company and they took good care of me, it was a reasonable price, and the service and the car fulfilled the expectations.
I got a car from this company in Fort Lauderdale, like many said, they have hidden fees and charge you more than agreed, do not recommend. It look like cheaper but in the end you will pay more than you would pay in budget or Avis.

Albeit I have my own sunpass transponder to pay tolls and avoid extra charges and fees, they forced me to get the toll service, which is illegal.i had to call the police to get my money back.
I can guarantee that most of the 5 star reviews here are fake! I used rentacar 4 less only once and will never rent a car here again. They charged my credit car twice and I never got my money back. They see you are a tourist and wait about a month before charging your creditcard. I send them an email and they told me something about ticket + $50 fees. Avoid this place! Never give them your credit card.
