This is the worse rental car place ever!!! I had a car for one day and returned back on time, put the key in the box because there was no one at the counter in the garage and they charged me an extra day and said I returned the car late and there was someone at the desk. So me and the lady on the phone going back in forth. She told me to email the manager and show him proof. Luckily, I took pictures when I dropped the car off with the date and time and if you zoom in you will see there was no one at the desk.Second, the car stinks and had bugs in the car.Please avoid them. I only went with them because budget line was long.

We had a reservation with budget however the line was 50 people deep with just a few staff working. We went next door to Royal and we’re glad we did. Quick, staff was nice and we were on our way to our vacation. Lesson learned!

Did not deserve 1 star! Rented a car and ended up on the side of the road from the thread coming out of the tire for over 2 hours, got another vehicle and tire pressure was 19 psi below what it should have been upon receiving it, got another vehicle the next day and that car was squeaking. After all of this inconvenience of having to change to 3 different cars in 3days ON VACATION and worrying about the safety of getting around the guy had the NERVE to have an attitude! Thankfully, the lady upstairs tried her best to make it right.

Very patient staff that waited for us as we got payment issues resolved. they had the car we needed, and no issues. The car smelled at first but we aired it out and the smell got better. The staff are great and we had no issues at all.

Our plane was delayed from departure and we made it to the airport after the car rental had closed. An employee had stayed there and we were still able to get our car. Even got a free upgrade. Some of the best customer service of the trip!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Worst car rental we have ever been to! My boyfriend and I rented a car and had a reservation for 3 days and we arrived half and hour late and they said they had already rented our car out to someone else. They made us upgrade to a truck that was over $100 more than what we originally had. Staff was EXTREMELY rude. It was also they only car rental in the building that didn’t have a mile long line, I see why. Also not connected to the airport like I says when you use the app. Please do not go here unless you like to be robbed.

Google needs a negative star to highlight the HORRIBLE customer service some businesses deliver...1. There was zero line, yet, we had to wait for 15 minutes for the staff, aka Armando, to get off their personal call.2. Despite of having a confirmed reservation for an economy car, Armando, who claims to be the owner, said that there are NO cars available and ‘offered’ a cargo aka a van. Told us that online reservations are irrelevant because it’s not trustworthy. It’s not the same in their systems...3. Armando was short fused from the minute I approached the kiosk. He did not even allow me to provide the reservation number only to say that he is sold out...4.When I inquired for a solution to a problem I did not create, Armando nonchalantly said...”I could have given you another car but I don’t like you questioning me, so I am not going to help you!”This was the WORST customer service I have ever received. Please IGNORE the few positive reviews. The staff is rude, dismissive, unprofessional and simply DOES NOT CARE. If you want to save yourself some serious drama and nerves, support other businesses! There’s a myriad in the Miami airport.

Not only did I get the best rate from Royal but they didnt have in stock car I ordered so I was upgraded to small SUV which was really nice and drove well. I would definitely get rental from them again.

I will never recommend this place to anyone!!! I was a little lost trying to return a vehicle and the guy from royal came out yelling at me swearing and talking about my mother. Staff is so rude and need to learn how to speak to people. I wouldve given 0 stars if that was an option.

You might think that picking a rental company that is onsite at the airport would be safe, but you would be wrong. This is an awful company with horrible customer service with employees who are rude and combative.We rented a Convertible and I put the time of arrival as 6:30pm. We didn’t get to the rental place until 9pm and the lady at the desk said that the reservation expired after 2 hours and they no longer had a car. That is not stated anywhere when you make the reservation on their janky website. Also, our reservation was still available when I looked it up so the agent lady was just using our timing as an excuse for not actually having a car for us.Avoid this rental agency.

I should have checked the reviews sooner. Here I am another gal on vacation stuck driving a CARGO VAN. Why reserve me a CAR when you DON’T HAVE ANY? I reserved and PAID two months in advance. And on top of it every staff person I’ve contacted trying to fix this has been cold and uncaring. Especially the woman I spoke to in person at the counter. Totally unwilling to try to resolve this issue. Will never use this company again no matter how desperate I am- cross my heart.

Staff is EXTREMELY rude and UNWILLING to help with mistakes they make. They provide very little direction and detail in their emails and service making it completely unclear what to do and where to go. Dont waste your time or money here.

PLEASE I BEG YOU DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.AFTER THEY ALREADY TOOK MY MONEY.... THEY WNATED TO CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL 200 DOLLARS AND DEMANDED IT BE PAID ON THE SAME CARD AS BEFORE. I TRIED TO REACH A RESOLUTION TO THIS MATTER AND MR. RIVERA YELLED AT ME AND PROVIDED THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER OFFERING NO SOLUTION. Had a reservation for 12am last night- arrived and was told no cars available, regardless of the reservation. 2 person cargo van when there was 3 of us. The worker was extremely unhelpful. Went to a hotel (not planned, extra expense due to their error that we had to pay for). Scheduled a reservation for this AM and same circumstance- suddenly it’s unavailable. I read reviews and decided to try it for myself, but please save yourself the money, the headache And the horrible feeling of being in an airport with no car options in the middle of the night.

As others have said, they dont give the car which was promised. I had booked my car 2 months in advance and when I reach there I was not given that car. The price I had paid was not reduced even though the car I got was not the one I had rented.Plus the person on the counter was not really helpful. She was like cancel if you want.I think they know people dont have much of a choice once they arrive at 12am and take advantage of that.Pay 10-20$ extra but dont go here..

DO NOT EVER GET A CAR FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The woman in the front desk was disrespectful and the man hung up on me in the middle of me speaking. They took my money and then wanted to recharge me and even asked how much money I had on my credit card (insinuating I didnt have the money, which was not the case). SCAM! Rent a car from here if you want to get robbed. These people rented me a minivan that had more miles than the invoice showed. Went to disney and back from miami and was charged 1100 miles when I only used 475. There’s no way they are not knowingly doing this.

Marcial and Marie were absolutely amazing! Incredibly kind and accommodating. Budget really messed up and we waited for almost an hour. Walked to them and they were able to get us a good price and moving much so quicker than Budget could! So glad we switched and they got our vacation going! Thank you!

Would give a zero if it was an option. Rudest attendant I’ve ever worked with. They allowed me to use my Apple Card online but when I showed up they wouldn’t take it. Wouldn’t refund either. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card.

Very chill and easy experience. I got to the desk to pick up the car and the guy reminded me that I needed to pay an underage charge, but he waived it for me! Rental car was in great condition, inside could have been a tad bit cleaner but nothing bad at all. Overall great experience.

Had the cheapest prices and pick up/ drop off was super easy. There were other rental car companies with long lines and we walked right up and had our keys within 5 minutes. They even upgraded us for no charge. Vehicle was basically brand new.

I was a little sketched out because Id never heard of Royal and they were so much cheaper than the national agencies Id used before... Let me tell you, this was the easiest car rental experience Ive ever had. I was worried that the car I rented was going to be crappy because they were so much cheaper... Not the case. I got to the desk where whoever was on duty was so insanely helpful, and gave me some tips for getting around the city. I rented a convertible and was unsure about what Id get. I got a choice of a red, white, or green Mustang. I asked for the green one and got outside to see that it was BRAND NEW. 2014 car with about 7000 miles on it, leather interior, bluetooth, everything. It was a really nice car and in great condition. This whole process took maybe 5 minutes.At the end of my vacation I handed the keys off to someone and walked away. No hassle, no crap, just a great all around experience. I would definitely recommend using them in the future.

Disappointed. The agent was difficult to understand and tried to sell us on the accessories that we didnt need. Seemed like he was trying to scam us which wasnt appreciated - we just wanted to get on with our vacation. The car was filthy! Trash all over, dried pop on the center console and windows, soiled seats, empty Taco Bell cup in the back, FINGER NAIL clippings on the seats. Seriously? Crazy to see how dirty a car can get with only 5000 miles! Also, the return procedure was very slow. We were late for a flight and they didnt seem to care whatsoever and they were difficult to understand once again. We rented from the location at Miami International airport. While I see others have had great experiences with Royal, this location was awful. Id recommend spending a little more money and using another rental company!

This people will scan you, they will take every cent from you. I paid $150 to rent a car which wasn’t bad... right!? and when I returned the car they charge me $350 more!! Nothing was wrong with the car! Stay away from them!!!!

When I realised I lost my credit card upon arriving in Miami could not collect my prepaid and prebooked car from major rental company which also treated me like trash...Royal Car hire were only reasonable and understanding people who listened and helped when I needed it the most being half planet away from home and my bank. They allowed me to hire car with my UK Debit Visa.Very humane and lovely approach from Mr Jesus on front desk saved my stay in Florida. He helped us a lot and did best he could to ease our stressful day. We were saved by Jesus, literally.Car was great and again, Royal Car hire was amazing to help us when not even my bank or airline wanted. Strongly recommend them!

Rented a car from Brazil . Paid in full with my credit card. My card got cloned so i had to cancel it and order another one.When i show up at the counter they would not give me the car unless i provided the card that was cloned or a letter from the bank saying that the card was cloned. I showed him a picture of the card, my passport and a drivers license. They still would not help. This really put a big hickup in my trip.now i have to figure out how to get my $1500 from them.But ALAMO took great care of me and I will deal with these idiots later

Stay away from this place. I lost 800 usd worth of merchandise when my rental car was towed. The towing company had a list with everything that was in the car and the rental company signed that list when they pickup the car. The manager Armando admitted they had thrown everything away... Yeah right. These people have sticky fingers. Go to Family across the hall much better.

I had always rented from royal in the past multiple times with no problem. This time though i was treated really rude by the dispatcher Mr Omar Ojeda which at pick up refuses to switch our car (the one we got had a set of wires hanging in the trunk), at drop off he wanted to charge us for extra fuel (we just pumped gas 3 miles from the location) luckily we werent on a rush and i was able to pump 1/3 of a gallon on the gas station besides the rental building). This kind treatment its unacceptable !!!

This is an easy rental place with very good prices, the managers are honets and hard working man.but let me tell you some of their employes act like garbage, chewing gum in your face, eating chips to your face and after all that when you ask to change a car they tell you that you cant do it even though you can and complaining about your attitude in your face after you pay $2000. Some of their employees dont deserve the job they have, be aware, ask for omar or the manager and you will get a good rental experience.

Unfortunately I was fooled. When I rented the car, I was asked if I wanted the car with a full tank and that the price was more affordable than at the stations, as we would not walk much, I did not accept and received the car with 1/8 of the fuel tank. On delivery I was told that the tank was full, charged me with fuel almost twice the value and the person who attended me was not, I asked to talk to the manager and had not, just gave me an email to try to solve the problem. problem. After the delivery of the car and waiting for the flight, I eventually met a person where they did the same thing, but he was reluctant and did not leave the store until the situation resolved, and managed to get around. Stay away from this Royal Rent a Car in Miami
