Pretty chill place to live. Besides the roach problem its very convenient to local spots in Miami. Downtown is only about 15 minutes away and its alot around the area to explore. Not a far drive to cool spots. Nice patio view from the apartment as its off the water. Nice area to have a glass of wine after a long day at work. Staff is pretty chill and the property manager Camille always responds pretty efficiently regarding issues.
I truly loved living at New Castle Lake. Was a tenant for over 10 years. Never had problems with rent office, maintenance orders or pest control. The only problem I had was parking. In October my fiancé passed and I was the only one working. I was given a 90 day notice to move out. I complied and moved before the end of the 90 days but was told I would not receive my deposit because I didn’t not pay the last months rent. I was not able to pay the last months rent because I had to save my two checks from January to move. Other than that it was a great experience living there.
Sooo I must say this apartment complex has came a long way! The ladies in the office, Camille and Mattie really are amazing . Camille is by far the best property manager I’ve had in years. Been here 3 months I have no complaints, every apartment building has minor issues but clearly Camille and Mattie had everything under control. Thank you crystal lake !!
False advertisement. They will show you a model room but you’re not getting exactly what you see. Very unprofessional place.I wanted to the move-in because I did like what was shown but seeing what I was getting it wasn’t the same. The price which you’re told from the realtor is not the price which you’ll be paying. I was Told $1295 With a $500 deposit to move in. Front desk first lady doesn’t know what she’s doing.she agreed that I would pay that but now it’s like if I made it up.I am very clear on how much I’ll be paying for a remodel and she agreed. But when I went in person again after I was approved it was $1495 which they raise the price this exact day 5/17/21. But they were trying to give it to me for $1425 which was the price on 5/16/21. Does this make sense ? I thought I was playing $1295 ... THIS PLACE NEEDS A NEW MANAGEMENT... what’s the Corporate number to this place ?For the reply below don’t make it seem like it’s my fault I recorded the model room with the young later saying “12” for $1295 I sent it to you .. Just make sure if you’re going to rent something out to somebody and show them a model room that you show them exactly what they’re getting you don’t show them what you just have to show. And contact a realtor you might need a new one
This is the worst rental community in Miami. No one in the mgt office gets answers when you need them. Try calling the office and the manager is always in a meeting.
I used to live there and we never got services but I got worse than better
DONT MOVE THERE PLEASE. THEY DIDNT ÷WANT TO FIX THE TIOLET,AND CHECK ON THE TERMITES. THEY STOPPED PROVIDE SERVICES BEFORE LEASE IS UP.THEY HAVE SMALL APARTMENT FOR HIGH RENT EVERYBODY IS BEING FORCED TO MOVE OUT
I just moved in. Thanks Adriana for all your hard work as a property manager. My apartment looks great. I love the smart-home upgrades.
If they ever fix anything when I used to believe supposed to even having this problem since we moved in here the landlord of the slumlord
I love my new apartment. The property manager is great and they are doing a lot of upgrades.
The apartments that are newly renovated are so beautiful, super modern and its nice to be so close to downtown!
Just moved in from out of state, the ladies in the front office made the whole process super easy I moved in without even seeing the apartment in person. It would be nice if there was a pool but the view of the lake is really great plus its right near the highway so getting around is convenient.
I moved into my apartment right as COVID-19 began to shut down the United States. I was only living in my apartment for a week until I had to leave to go back home because I wasn’t working and I was all alone in a new city. When I asked to break the lease officially in April after explaining to them I only stayed in my apartment for a week and I just got furloughed, they made me pay a months worth of rent and then told me they were keeping my security deposit after I moved out instead of telling me when they made me pay to break my lease. On top of making me pay an extra month to move I was supposed to get my first month free and I really only got half the month free because I didn’t even move in until March 8th so they still charged me for a full month in April even though I should have gotten a discount.Besides them taking advantage of renters during a pandemic, the property has so many roaches. I am one of the cleanest people ever. I scrubbed the walls, floors, cabinets, counters, and everything else in the apartment head to toe every other day and I still couldn’t prevent roaches from appearing in my apartment. The laundry units on site are absolutely disgusting and look like they are never cleaned by management. The only positive to renting with New Castle Lake was the front desk lady Bridget. She was always so nice and professional by taking her time to attend to renters and make them feel at home.I do not recommend renting with this company because of how they took advantage of me and the overall quality of their apartments. Looks can be deceiving.
Just moved here, the location is great and I can get to downtown easily for workExcited to see what improvements they are making to the community as a whole, the apartments are beautifully done
I enjoy my lake view balcony every morning and sunset.
Just moved in from Brazil, very good place to live, excelent amenities and staff.
They are a bunch of crooks. I moved there seven years ago with no blinds and they took my deposit for something I didnt have. This place is infected with roaches and termites. Im so glad I moved into a better place.
Just renewed my lease here, I have been happy living here and like how convenient the location is.
Great move in specials!
