If I could advise anyone I would say run this dealership is the absolute worst the service department is always a problem they don’t wanna even honor their own thousands of dollars worth of warranty every time I have a problem I have to call corporate or the dealership where I bought the carto get them to honor the warranty then when they do honor the warranty the work is so substandard you have to bring it back to and three times and then after you do that and you bring it back because it’s not correct. They have to check if it warranty. This is not the dealership u want to deal with. The only dealership that stands behind their work and their customer service is impeccable is Mercedes a Birmingham. Mercedes of New Orleans had to take my complete dashboard out it took six months to do the repair We had to wait for an electrical horse which was vendor specific they return the car to me two weeks after the dash starts to bubble now the whole things coming up and they don’t want warranty their own work substandard at its finest

A mess. Clearly Smart cars (which are made by Mercedes) don’t get the same level of respect as regular Mercedes vehicles. I brought my car in to get the A/C fixed. They charged me quite a bit to recharge the system and add coolant. When I went to pick my car up, a dirty filter was left on my passengers seat, my front driver’s side tire was really low (the tire pressure light came on) and a part of the grill on the front was detached from the car. They didn’t even clean the inside (like vacuum the carpet, my car is always clean otherwise). When I tried to answers as to why my car low key looked a mess, I just kept being told that the person who handles Smart card wasn’t here today. Never again. I just spent a couple hundred dollars to get a dirty car with low tire pressure abs trash left on the seats back. Never. Again.

Recently we upgraded our vehicles to mercedes. We were going to sell our 2 vehicles to carmax due to higher offer and reputation but after some convincing this store convinced us to sell our cars to them.Following this we are asked to provide a bill of sell for the cars we sold them and I have been repeatedly told that it can be produced and the checks give. To me should suffice. When attempting to renew my drivers license, I had a “delinquency” for not having insurance on a vehicle that had been purchased by mercedes. They forgot to cancel my plates like they told me they would.I then spend hours at the store waiting for them to produce a sells letter for that transaction in order for me to show the DMV to take that hold off of my DL.Following this experience it is highly unlikely that I return to this store ever again. They are nice to get you to purchase but once you have they are of NO help.Only reason they get the 2 star instead pf 1 is that the sales rep did admit his mistake.

Hey, this is frustrating because this car is a lot of money, i noticed that one of my windshield wipers were missing and went to the dealership. They gave me an excuse saying that i go out too much and it fell off. But ill send you a picture when i first got the car, at the dealership and it was already missing. One of your workers did not check everything and I live in the East, which is a really far distance from this dealership so i hope you understand my frustration when it comes to this situation. I didnt notice this sooner because i only use it when its raining, and when i did use them, thats the first thing i noticed. However, they fixed it for me afterwards and i really appreciate that but due to this inconvenience, i was wondering if i could get some sort of discount or promotion.

I brought my C-Class in to replace my battery. The nightmare began! First, I was quoted one price and when I went to pay the price was much higher (bait and switch)!!! Second, after picking up the car, the electronics went crazy in the car. The radio would come on when the car is turned off and key is in hand. The car would start saying that it is about to shut down! Third, I took the car back and the service department kept the car for more than two weeks. Fourth, upon picking up the car, the back panel was off in the trunk, and the interior ceiling fabric was hanging down.The car was brought in to be service in pristine condition as the car is rarely driven. Spoke with the manager, Ronnie Lancon, and he was belligerent, unconcerned and stated that they WERE NOT going to place the car back in the condition that it was brought in. I told them that I would complain to Mercedes Benz and he told me that HE DIDNT CARE! Wow! I have been a Mercedes Benz owner since 1991 and have NEVER HAD ANYONE TO ADDRESS A PROBLEM WITH MERCEDES!!!I strongly do not recommend anyone taking their car to this dealership!!! I have lived in many countries and have taken many of my Mercedes Benz with me and have NEVER HAD THIS TYPE OF SERVICE NOR HAD ANY REPRESENTATIVE OF MERCEDES TALK TO ME THIS WAY!!!! For the record, I have taken my Mercedes to Germany, Turkey, Bahrain, and South Korea and NEVER EVER received this type of despicable treatment. I have bought (2) Mercedes Benz from American Service Center in Arlington, VA where this 2011 C Class was purchased and NEVER had a problem with customer service. I have had the pleasure of doing business with this dealership for the past 9 years, starting with the purchase of my 2011 E-Class Coupe. Since then I have worked with them on my SLK350 and now, the most recent addition of my C-Class Coupe.To say that this dealership and its staff are anything less than the best in the area would be an injustice. I took my car to get serviced here the other day to get serviced and they told me that it would be ready in 2 hours and 30 minutes. I left my telephone number with them to be notified when my car would be ready. Hours passed and I didnt receive any type of communication to know that my vehicle was ready. I took my friend to buy a car at the Ford dealer across the street around 4:30pm and saw my car was sitting out front. I went over and the servicing crew had already left. Ontop of that the following day, I still havent received a phone call or text that my car was ready for me to pick up, resulting in me having to go in person myself to get my vehicle.

I thought about getting another make instead of a Benz but the customer service makes me stay. Im younger than most if not all of the people who work there but theyve stuck to calling me maam and offering to bend over backwards for me. Ive gone to several Benz service areas in different states but this one is the best. I love the loaner car program as well. Every time I pull up for service someone is there to greet me. Shout out to Corey and Michael for helping me get a necklace that had fallen between a panel. Ill stay with Benz after I get rid of my current.

Superb service! My husband and I came in to check out a vehicle. We were welcomed by the lovely receptionist and seated immediately with Mike Tyson, he is THE MAN! We had an appointment at 1 pm and were done in no time. Mike had us test drive the vehicle and we were done, we sat in his office and negotiated with the price. They gave us a military discount and Mike fought for us with the price and tried his best to meet with the bargaining twice with the manager. All in all we got a pretty good deal, close to the dollar amount we want to spend. Upon closing, the manage Vic Jones was very pleasant and very informative. 4 hours later we were driving with our new vehicle. Freshly washed waxed and detailed with a full tank of gas. I highly recommend this dealership with their exceptional service and professionalism.

I recently bought a 2014 Mercedes GLK from out of state and had it shipped to me. My experience with Steven, the salesman I worked with, was wonderful. He was very helpful and made buying from out of state and the shipping process seamless. I would love to give my experience a 5-star rating because of Steven alone, however my car was shipped to me with 4 dry-rotted tires that were unsafe to drive on. I was told that the vehicle was inspected before it was sold to me and that the brakes were replaced and other maintenance was performed, so I was expecting to receive a car that was at the very least safe to drive. Unfortunately, I now have to replace all 4 tires on my new car, costing me an extra $1000, and the car is not safe to drive as is. I did agree to buy the car as is, but I was expecting more from a Mercedes-Benz dealership. They should have replaced the tires before selling it.

Very POOR customer service in the service department. I have not in my three years of having my car gotten good service in the service department. My car has been there for three days, and have not been through diagnostics. Im pretty sure it does not take three days for a diagnostic test. What is the purpose of a luxury car, without luxury service. I will NEVER buy with MB again. I could have brought a Honda for that matter!!!

They call wanting me to come see them after looking at their website. Jessica gives me a call and we set up the appointment. Sales dude calls me the day of the appointment telling me he thought the appointment was at a different time because he had plenty of inventory in stock for the model I was interested. I agree to go see him at the new time...when I get there he is not available. He sends me off with a different dude, not a bad guy but he just met me and seem in a little bit of a rush( he was an used inventory sales person). Yup they only have one car in stock for the model Im looking for. Its inside...no way for me to test it or even start it up...plus canary yellow. Pretty much they told me yup thats what we have. We cant help you. No options no lets try to find you one. nothing. It was more like yeah take it or leave it we really dont need your bussiness anyways. They did not care. Email Jessica telling her about the experience...she never replied! One really bad but eye opening experience. Thanks guys! I will not be expending 60 k on one of your cars anymore I guess. This was last Sunday August 30, 2020.

The worst dealership experience I have ever had. My husband and I purchased a used Yukon Denali from this dealership. We have had the truck for 2 weeks as of today and now the car isnt running. I know you maybe thinking they purchased the car as is but no we didnt. We purchased the car with an extended warranty from this dealership. We purchased the warranty because the truck had 104,000 miles on it at the time of purchase so we wanted to ensure that if we had any issues with the vehicle we would be covered. Little did we know and oddly enough the finance manager didnt mention to us that the warranty isnt available for use until after 30 days of purchase. So from the time we drove off the lot until 30 days later our truck isnt covered for any type of repair services, roadside assistance, or rental assistance which is all covered in the warranty but not until 30 days after purchase even though we paid for the warranty the same time we paid for the truck. We have contacted the salesman, the finance manager, and the sales manager to discuss a resolution but of course everyone is to busy to return our call. The only resolution they offered was for us to drive the vehicle to another dealership, thats right not this dealership where we purchased the truck and warranty but another dealership and for US to pay for them perform a diagnostic test. We havent even paid our first note on this vehicle. Im sure this has nothing to do with the fact that when my husband went into the dealership by himself initially, no one not even the receptionist acknowledge him. Several other salesmen walked pass him until one black salesman decided to offer him some assistance. Im also sure this has nothing to do with the fact that when we went in to purchase the vehicle we had already secured our own financing with two different banks (one of which had already provided us with check to pay for the vehicle) and we were going to purchase two vehicles until they started switching the prices up on us to ensure we pay more for the vehicles. All signs that we shouldve never purchased this truck from this dealership but it was a really good deal and my husband had being looking for this exact truck to expand his transportation business. With that being said, I will be sure to express and share my sincere disappointment with this dealership to any and everyone I know and I encounter.Jason, the date of the warranty becoming effective wasnt explained to us at the time of purchase. Its not about what I expected, this is about the lack of information that was provided by your team. You mentioned us calling you for assistance but this is to just to appease your viewers because Im certain your team is aware that I have called your dealership on several occasions regarding this issue. Ive left several voicemails and we still havent received a call back from you or your team. Just as you have taken the time to respond to my review, you couldve very easily picked up the phone and contacted me as Im sure all of my information is on file.

My grandparents bought a Smart car from here and we have had a terrible time with their service department. In December of 2018, Susan Williams (the Smart brand manager at the time) and Ric Bennett (parts manager) told us we could come get snow tires put on the Smart car. We planned it far ahead in advance with them, but then after we drove 1.5 hours to get there and waited a couple of hours for them to realize their mistake, they informed us that they had the wrong tires and what they ordered for us didnt fit our car. They couldnt even find the correct tire size and recommended having the tires changed in New York at a different Mercedes-Benz location since I was going to be driving the car up that way. A good portion of our day was wasted on this, but oh well, mistakes happen.A few months later, however, the car needed maintenance so I emailed Ric Bennett to ask if the car was on a maintenance plan with them. He replied there is no record of any maintenance plans, so I had some minor work done at a private shop that cost me about $600.Fast forward to a few days ago, the car needs some more minor work done. I go through some old paperwork and find that my grandparents paid $2,600 for a service contract. I emailed Susan to ask what this cost was for since Ric had already told me the vehicle wasnt on any plan, but Susan tells me that the vehicle is in fact on an extended warranty plan. Not only that, but the car is still under factory warranty. This is great news, except the previous work that I paid $600 for (at a private shop after I was told by Ric that the car had no maintenance plan) means that the warranty is now invalidated and Mercedes-Benz wont work on the car under warranty. I asked Susan if an exception could be made since they were the reason I brought the car to a private shop after they wrongfully told me the car was on no plan, but she denied my request.Some of the blame falls on my shoulders for not being aware of what my grandparents purchased when they bought the car, but I thought I could trust the Mercedes-Benz employee when he told me that the car had no maintenance plan. The service department has failed me twice now, cant be trusted to provide reliable information, and is not able to correct their mistakes. Susan has been prompt and helpful, but if Ric Bennett is still an employee here, I highly recommend requesting anyone but him.Ive seen that Mercedes-Benz reads their reviews here, so if they read it, the car is under Jean Harrisons name. I am happy to provide more information if this is something that can be resolved.

I had and am still having a horrible experience with this dealership. I’m a business owner that absolutely hates to leave bad reviews. In this case it has to be done. On 11/14/20 I called to ask if my vehicle can be brought to be serviced. I was told I have to set an appointment. Nothing was available until 11/20/20. I brought my vehicle in and was told I wouldn’t have diagnostic report until 11/23/20. I explained my vehicle is the way I work. My advisor BJ apologized and said all loaners were out.On 11/24 I got a TEXT MESSAGE instead of a call that my wheels were stolen off of my car. I actually thought it was a joke. In my mind I thought I was going to call and BJ say it was call bait. To my shock my wheels were really stolen. I asked what I needed to do and was advised to contact my insurance company. My insurance company said they were liable because I left my vehicle in their care, and that most likely have coverage to protect them. I went to dealership and placed call to police for my own records. I was told by police department they won’t come twice and was given an item number.I spoke with service manager and was told that they were not liable. I informed him of what my insurance company said. The service manager Richard Fredrichs said he doesn’t know why my insurance would say that. He said my situation would be like parking at Walmart and vehicle being stolen. He also said that I signed a release of liability on their part. He told me he doesn’t think this is something his insurance covers. I again explained my vehicle is how I take care of my college student daughter, disabled son, and I myself have a disability. I explained I don’t feel sorry for myself and help myself although I’m disabled.I was told by Richard that it will take a couple of hours to see what he can do, BUT he believes I need to file an insurance claim. I was upset and disappointed. I left a comment on their Facebook like page. Bobby Fredritz the operations coordinator answered my Facebook comments. He was very rude. I felt as if he was implying I had something to do with the theft of my wheels. I called him out and he said he wasn’t. I’m totally disappointed over the whole situation. Their cameras didn’t catch much. This is their claim. I’m very upset about everything and how I’ve been treated.

Worst Service Experience Ever!Their service prices are absurdly high. The service advisor didnt respond to my comment about the vehicle making a strange noise after a repair.Something under the hood was not put back together properly which resulted in thousands of dollars in damage that included recommending replacement of parts that did not need to be replaced. Their inspection of the vehicle also failed to recognize a leaking coolant cap and a disintegrating intake air box that if unaddressed would have caused more expensive repair costs. Will never return to this dealership for service. If I could rate zero stars I would.

I am a regular visitor to New Orleans and often make the drive from Atlanta. On my most recent trip I had the misfortune of not being able to avoid a pothole which destroyed the front right tire on my S550. Fortunately I could still drive the car so I drove to Mercedes Benz of New Orleans. Within minutes, and with me providing only my name and address, BJ Bioc, the Express Service Manager, had pulled up all my records, confirmed my tire and wheel warranty coverage would take care of the tire, and confirmed they had the tire in stock. Within 45 minutes I had my car back with a new tire and all washed and clean. What an awesome experience! Being an avid NO Saints fan (my GA tagged car proudly wears a New Orleans Saints license plate frame - a brave thing to do in Atlanta!!), I fell in love with the Mercedes/NO Saints shirts offered for sale and I immediately bought one and put it on. Thank you, thank, you, thank you!!!

I Would not recommend this location. I came in last year to get my car checked on under warranty and was given a ride to work from the dealer at 8am. While at work, they called me to come back when I got off at 5. Once I was there and had been waiting almost a hour they let me know my vehicle wouldn’t be ready till Monday and it was Friday. I had already been told when I bought my warranty that while they are working on your vehicle, they would give you a vehicle to drive so it won’t be so inconvenient. They refused to give me a vehicle till I spoke to someone at the service department/ management. The following week someone from Mercedes reached out to ask me about my experience and I let them know what had happened. I wasn’t upset, I didn’t make a scene there nor had a argument with staff. New Orleans only has one location so I called today to schedule visit and they said that I could not get service there because of my bad review. What type of customer service is that. I didn’t take what happened last year personal on being profiled but now I can see that this location is very unprofessional and there was definitely discrimination involved.

I bought my car here and always get it serviced here. The one time I took it to BRs dealership, and I was back at this dealership getting it fixed again. I missed out on doing the survey they sent me, so Ill review them here. lol Hopefully the manager/owner will see it. Mr. Robert, BJ, and Mr. Richard are thee best services managers ever! I literally have no words for the level of service i receive here. Especially during this pandemic.They LITERALLY go above and beyond. I was speechless. Its like the kind of magical service that make lifelong relationships. The loaners are just wonderful because Im in my comfort zone when I have to go about and handle my business. Only downside is everyone needs a loaner too so you have to hope you catch them on a great day to get one. lol I get my car back serviced with no problems, clean, and service is fast, professional, friendly, and I can pay for service via app before I get back to the dealership.

The service department is the worst and I believed they have conned me with an inaccurate diagnosis to get money from me because they knew it was another problem and this would not fix it. Michael is my advisor. He is the worst and he has a deceitful demeanor. He doesn’t explain all that is going on with our car. He goes all around the explanation that doesn’t make any sense. My car would cut off after driving a block or so and all the lights would be on. We had a storm, water got into my car on the passenger side only. Car was driving and fine.They called and told me, 2 days later, that the diagnosis said it was the high pressure fuel pump. This was odd to me because that usually not a problem for a car that me under 40,000 miles. He tried to fast talk and say that this is what’s coming up but it’s some water they may affect other things and we won’t know that until this is changed.Suspicious.Part got changed and the car is doing the same thing. Michael told me that they can’t get another diagnosis until the car is dry. Really?!?!?!? Seems like that should have been some first and then test it.I believe these people have conned me to get money out of me for my car knowing that the diagnosis was not going to fix my problem. If you can’t get an accurate read then perhaps the one you received was inaccurate to begin with!Deceitful snakes!I am calling my lawyer. Mercedes of New Orleans service department will not get away with this.

This is the worst place to buy a car look forward to spending money to repair the car you buy. They cannot do paperwork had to sign the contract twice. Mangers do not return phone calls. The best thing to do is drive to the next dealership. Sunday December 1 now the air shocks have done out this dealership said the car was checked out I do not think it was very done, stay away from this dealership.

The only reason this review gets 3 stars is because your client-facing employees, mainly Katie, are super nice people.I dropped my 2015 GLA off for A service and recalls. When I picked it up, it had not been washed or vacuumed, my tire pressure wasn’t checked, my clock was not reset, and a giant dent in my front plastic was not quoted for repair. For a $344 oil change at a luxury dealership, I was incredibly unimpressed. If the clock hadn’t been set to 1am in the year 2000, I would have questioned if they even did my service. Katie took care of the cleaning aspect for me and I brought it back to be detailed the next day. She was very sweet and I appreciate her great customer service.What I don’t appreciate is the horrific price gouging that this dealership does. I was sent an estimate for $4,400+ in work that my car “needs.” $636 of this was for Spark Plugs. 4 spark plugs. Come on y’all spark plugs are $12/each at Auto Zone and are not hard to replace yourself. What a joke.

I brought my S550 in for a check engine light (I did not tighten my gas gap properly). The staff was incredible. I was greeted promptly, and politely informed that my service writer, Katie, would be with me in a moment. The service waiting area was very clean, very comfortable, and the cold bottle of water was much appreciated. What really earns this experience 5 stars is that I was informed of the progress of the repair at basically every step. As I was waiting the completion of the work, I wondered around the showroom. The sales staff made me feel as though I were at home. They knew I was in for service, yet several stopped to talk to me. I highly recommend Mercedes Benz of New Orleans!

This is now my 43rd vehicle. You name it, I owned it. I have only purchased a few used cars with the fear of something wrong with them. I had no fear buying from Mercedes Benz of New Orleans.My sales consultant, Mike Tyson, was the best. His knowledge and personality will make him a friend instantly. He never rushed me to sign on the line. When we test drove the car, he never harassed me, just answered my questions and gave me a history of the car.Missy in Finance was amazing. The best deal I ever recieved at any dealership. She explains everything and never added anything that you have no clue what you just signed.The entire staff, even the receptionist at the desk when you walk in, are so cordial and nice. I gave some of my happiness with Mercedes Benz of New Orleans, but you need to go there to experience it yourself.

Complete lack of safety protocols during this Covid-19 outbreak. I stopped by with my wifes tire to get it replaced and they told me it would be an hour. 4 hours later its ready and my wife pays the invoice online so she doesnt have to go inside. She can just pop the trunk and they can throw it in. Boom, done. She gets to the dealership and nobody has a clue what is going on, totally unprofessional and careless. They asked her to wait inside while they got the information (so much for not going in). Several employees were not wearing masks including the gentleman who insisted that he had to get in her car and drive it to the back to load the tire. 20 mins later she gets out of there. She even called her advisor after she left and he basically said yeah, sorry weve got construction going on Come on, Mercedes, youre supposed to be the best.

Wonderful dealership. I am new to the Mercedes world, but so far I have been blown away by the level of service and professionalism at Mercedes of New Orleans. I am always treated as a valued customer unlike other dealerships Ive visited. My service manager always takes care of my needs. As an engineer I can be meticulous at times yet he has always satisfied my concerns. From the moment I arrive and am greeted in the service department until I am escorted to my freshly washed car after service, I am treated with respect and gratitude. While waiting in the lounge I am offered drinks and snacks by a kind lady who genuinely appears to love her job. The experiences Ive had at this dealership will greatly affect my choice of manufacturer for my all my future vehicle purchases.

Jeanie is the best! We bought our last 3 Mercedes from her and will continue to buy from her in the future! She is by far the best car sales person I have ever worked with. She knows absolutely everything about every model, explains everything in detail, then lets you decide which one to buy! No high pressure-just high quality info.My previous Mercedes had to be towed to the dealer. It had 91000 miles and I couldnt justify the repair cost. I called Jeanie and let her know what was going on. She was able to do the entire transaction for my new car over the phone. Once we finished she sent a car to pick me up at my office on the west bank. When I arrived, the paperwork was ready and the car was shining like a mirror (she had it detailed). I signed the papers and my beautiful new c300 was in my garage 20 minutes later!When I couldnt figure out how to set the presets on the stereo, I stopped by the dealership. Problems everywhere!! Started with the lady who answered the phone when I tried to schedule service. I told her I needed to schedule an oil change. Here reply was, “We don’t do just oil changes, we do service.” Explained to her had just driven cross country, a full service had been done less than a month ago, and no service A or B was displayed just “service 600 miles”. She still insisted extended service was all that this location offered. After several minutes she finally said in a huff, “well fine, the express service is open till four”. Things weren’t any better upon arrival to the dealership. We were met in the service bay and told to go to the waiting room and someone would check us in. However no one bothered to show us to the waiting room or tell us where it was. The young gentleman who checked us it was quite nice, respectful, and kind. The car was ready about the time he said it would be done. When it was time to pay a woman came to the waiting room announced my name, and before I could gather my things she had turned and disappeared. I went to the service area to ask where to go and there were three employees there all on their phones and not one of them even looked up. I finally asked where I needed to go to cash out one was told, “over there”. Have been around Mercedes Dealerships for years and the attitude of most of the employees is more like a low end used car lot than what I have experienced in all other Mercedes dealerships. Common courtesy goes a long, long way and they are very short on it to out of town owners.

My wife and I purchased our first Mercedes-Benz over 6 years ago. Our previous experience with another high-end, local car dealership had raised our level of expectation for our future car purchasing experiences. I can honestly say, MB of New Orleans did not disappoint. We really appreciate the personalized service we receive from the technicians, to the service manager (Richard), to our salesperson (Mike Williams). If integrity matters to you, you’d be very impressed with them! Mike, as promised, remained involved with us throughout the entirety of our ownership, making it a wonderful experience! The service people don’t treat customers with respect they act like they are above you in some way because they work for Mercedes. I own 2 Mercedes vehicles and came here twice with appointments in morning and always late for work. Just because you work for Mercedes doesn’t give you any reason to treat customers that actually OWN Mercedes vehicles disrespectfully. I take care of a fleet of 3 Smart cars so I often take them to M-B of New Orleans for routine service and other repairs. Susan Williams, my service advisor, is a joy to work with as in Aaron, their Smart Car expert mechanic. The Smart car is not an easy car to work on and they always explain why a certain repair will take awhile and why it needs to be done. The courtesy drivers (Joe, Floyd, Izell) are professional and promptly pick me up or take me home. All in all its a pleasure working with everyone at this dealership.

Attempted to charge me 2000.00 to change my brakes and then once I told them I would have them changed elsewhere they attempted to charge me a 300.00 diagnostic fee even though I asked for a quote to change the brakes upon dropping it off. Ordered the parts myself and had them changed locally for less than 500.00.Thanks for the response to my issue that I had with MB of New Orleans. However, my name is not Marisa as it states in your response. It clearly says Scott in my profile. So it seems that you cannot even seem to issue a correct response much less an accurate estimate. After Reading most of the reviews here, I am not surprised at all with negative feedback customers are writing about this dealership. I took my Mercedes car there cuz I’d noticed an oil leak.And I am truly disappointed with the customer service rep who I had to deal with. This place has the worst customer service rep EVER! His name is Scotty Hutton. He gave me false info about my extended warranty policy and kept saying that I have to pay $160 diagnostic fee and that was even before he took my info or my policy number. When I told him I don’t know what he’s talking about he repeated the exact same words without any additional explanation. So I told him I will make a quick call to the warranty company to try to understand what he’s talking about. He said they will only tell me the exact same thing he’s been telling me. I didn’t listen to him and I called the warranty company and the guy gave me a much better explanation on how it works and assured that I won’t have to pay the $160. Scotty didn’t offer me a loaner and when I asked he carelessly replied that I had to schedule an appointment to get in a loaner. I asked if he can let me know if he’ll get a loaner later. He replied “that’s what I do.” No, Scotty! It’s “I apologize for the inconvenience. I will do my best to get you in a loaner asap”. Show some emphasizing and respect!! All our communications via txt was with no respect what so ever. I got into a loaner after begging him. Then, when I went to pick up my car. A lady welcomed me ( she was nice) and asked him to show me where the cashier is. He never showed me! He went to speak with the next customer that came after me. He Didn’t tell what was wrong with my car or what was fixed. He didn’t even look at me! I mean, seriously! Whoever hired him in that position made a big mistake. Next time I needs a service, I’ll definitely take my car to the dealership in BatonRouge cuz I would never want to experience this humiliation ever again! Y’all are lucky y’all got a star from me!

Dropped our e350 off for prepaid maintenance b1. They kept our car on property while we were visiting new Orleans and staying in the French quarter so we did not have to pay for parking. They dropped us off in the quarter after we got everything set up for service and picked us back up several days later when we were ready to leave. My husband recently brought his Smart into the service department for an alignment, among other things. First off, this is a Mercedes dealership and they are not equipped to do an alignment, or in my opinion anything else, on a Smart. For those who dont know...Mercedes manufactures the Smart car. Why are they not able to service it properly? They literally had to send the car elsewhere for a basic alignment. The shop then proceeded to snap a tie rod, which then had to be ordered and replaced (and paid for by my husband). It took three days to get the car back. On top of that, when we came to pick up the car, there was a large impact crack on the windshield which was not there before we brought it in. Not one person in the service department mentioned it. Is this incompetence or a cover up? You decide. Never use this dealership.

They’re only nice so they can take your money, but when I called for help to get a replacement part number they declined to give it to me stating that we won’t make money on it if you go somewhere else so we can’t give it to you? What?! So this is called customer service!?! Let me state they wanted to charge me $800 for one shock (w/o labor) when I found the same exact one online for $400. I had to call Mercedes in Chicago to get the part reference number and they did so without a problem and took 2mins of their time. Now what’s the problem with helping a customer get the right part?!

On two occasions Ive attempted to use the Service Department at MB of NOLA. I originally contacted MB of NOLA because the check engine light came on and I was having an issue with the sunroof. The vehicle was at the dealership for almost two weeks and I had to initiate virtually all communication. The vehicle was returned to me without the wind deflector portion of the sunroof. Just didnt bother putting it back on and I didnt initially realize it was missing since this was in December and I was undergoing surgery and follow-up treatment for cancer, so not using the car much less sunroof. Also, the Check Engine light came back on while driving home from the dealership.The second visit was to give them an opportunity to correct initial lacking service and to perform regular B maintenance. The vehicle has always been dealer maintained and I hoped that the initial problem was a fluke and due to being really backed up, as the reps claimed. Second visit I was told that there are now numerous codes related to the Check Engine alert. Some of which supposedly the same as the previous visit. The problem with that claim is that I was told on the original visit that the Check Engine light was simply a software update and now clear. The bottom line is that I spent almost $3K in two visits and the Check engine light is still on and Im missing a deflector for the sunroof.The Service Rep has not bothered to respond to my text explaining all of the above.The dealership may be great for purchase, but if you need maintenance/service, look elsewhere.I’m happy to say that MB of NOLA’s service department contacted me for feedback and after hearing what’s stated above, they took the car back in, special ordered some parts from Germany and made things right. Fair is fair and after a couple of hiccups, Mr. Taylor and the service team stepped up and gave me the type of service I’ve come to expect from MB.

They proceeded to tell me that it was a result of me braking to hard and that it would cost me $2300 to replace, but they would knock 10% off. That hard in 3 months? Really? Was a loyal customer. I recently went to the New Orleans Mercedes dealership to get a service on my SLK250. While I was waiting I decided to look around the showroom and spotted my dream car. I was approached by Mike Tyson who was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We talked for a while about the car and I fell in love. I told Mike that I currently serve our country as a Captain in the United States Army and he was able to make me a great deal on the car. The next day I came back and left the dealership in the car of my dreams. On top of that, they waived my previous days service charge! My husband and I have been looking for a new car for a few months, and Mercedes Benz and Harry were by far the easiest people to work with. Today I was unable to get my 2011 C300 started and it was under the carport. I called AAA and they checked the battery and all was ok but still no power. I called MB of NOLA several times and could not get through to a mechanic. I then went online and chatted with someone who promised me that a mechanic would call me. It has been 8 hours and I have still not received a call to see if i was stranded or needed help. The service at this dealership has steadily gone down since I began getting my vehicle serviced here in 2014. I have spent an estimated $8,000.00 at this dealership since 2014. MB is supposed to be the best but this service dept. needs a lot of work. I was looking at a new MB but now I will probably go to Crown Buick for a new GMC vehicle.

My experience with this dealership was off the charts. Went in to buy my wife a car and left with two. My salesman, Jerry Ebbert was exceptional. Knowledgeable and fun to deal with. He went out of his way to check on us on his day off not only for the cars but to offer condolences when he heard that my mother had passed. The sales manager, Ben Herring was also awesome. Totally helpful and hilarious too. They told me that a Mercedes dealership was coming to the Northshore but it doesnt matter. These guys have our business for as long as they are around.
