Chris and his team were really professional and nice to work with. We bought a new home and scheduled a tune up. They had told us that our old unit was no good and that we needed a new one. While this was not what we were hoping to hear, they were very quick to get us the parts that we needed and installed a new unit very quickly and at an affordable price. A huge thank you to True Home Maintenance! Our AC crashed this morning and when I called True Home Maintenance, they got us in for today between 11 and 1. Travis texted me at 11:10 to let me know he was on his way. He was here 20 minutes later, found our issue quickly, repaired it and we were up and running an hour after his text. This is the second time they have come out to our home (the first time was for something completely different) and I cannot say enough how courteous, professional, trustworthy and reliable they are. This review is for my father Allan Chapman. This company was referred for a repair about 18 months ago by the home warranty company. While they were here doing the repair, they talked my dad into a semi annual maintenance contract. We were told not to worry when time got close for first maintenance we would be contacted. We had to call to find out why we were never contacted and then they scheduled the maintenance. We went ahead and booked the next maintenance 6 months out. The day before we were scheduled had not heard from them so I called. Was I told we were on the schedule. Thanks for the heads up. The tech sends us an electronic schedule confirmation saying he is on his way through a maintenance tracker app. 20 min later I get a text from his personal phone saying he sent that on accident that he was way behind. He could either come around 5 pm or the next day. We asked him to come anyway he shows up after 6pm. Immediately finds issues....which I appreciate but tells we have to contact warranty company to get auth/ work order number to fix it. Which I text him in an hour after he leaves. I can not be here mid and late day the next day. He says oh I will come at 8 am if you have the work order. Will that work. I said sure. Its 844 and he just texted saying he would be 30 to 45 min before he arrives. In addition, i look at the maintenance tracker app and he claims to have started work at our home 245 yesterday finishing with a need to do more work at 719 pm. I just dont understand why there is a need to lie. I feel like this is very poor customer service with blatant disregard for the customer. If you want a company that communicates honestly and is honest about the time they say they are working in your home....do not use this company. I will be reporting this to the warranty company as well. Maybe they are not worthy of having their business either.Update: we chose another company through home warranty company to do the work reported by this company. The pan this company claimed to be rusted out is plastic. The 3 inches of mud from condensation and no drainage is normal 1/4 inch damp dirt and dust the lines are not clogged. The coils are a little dirty but not bad. They could find nothing else wrong with the unit. This company is not honest. User beware...

Nick came out to fix our air conditioning today and we are very happy with the service! He was on time, friendly, knowledgable and fixed our compressor in a timely manner. Would highly recommend!

I was totally impressed that the text included a tracking app so I would know exactly how far away and when he would arrive. He completed the HVAC cleaning and the drain line is running freely again. We really called them on very short notice but they were able to change their schedule up yet, showing up exactly when they said they would and finishing early. True Home Maintenance has not only serviced our A/C unit, but also came out super fast to diagnose why my A/C system and thermostat were not operating properly. The technician Tyler was absolutely wonderful. He was personable, knowledgeable and very respectful. I appreciated his demeanor considering it was almost 7pm, my kids were running around and he handled my chaotic house beautifully. I also really appreciated the text updates keeping me updated on Tylers arrival. True Home Maintenance is truly awesome! I have had NIGHTMARE experiences in the past, and these guys have shown me that there really are nice (and competent) AC people out there! I made my appointment. On the day of, I got an email notification that Tyler was on his way (within the 2 hour appointment time frame) AND I had an option to TRACK where he was. He (bless his heart) got up on my 2nd story roof and got my AC working again in less than an hour. I had a blocked condensation line and he even showed me pictures of what he did. I had a very positive experience with this company from the initial consultation to the final moment of installation. I was nervous about our 15 year old AC units making it through another Summer and Chris came out to review the system and units and gave me honest, practical advice, without pushing me into any kind of sale or commitment. I was so tired of previous contractors, in AZ and when I lived in ID constantly pushing, pushing, pushing sales. He was extremely knowledgeable and we decided to update our system at our leisure rather than risk a Summer disaster. The quote was detailed and ended up being exactly what we paid and I was very happy with the value for money. Every aspect of the install was great and by the end I was a very happy customer and cannot imagine working with another company. I strongly recommend them.

A honest and caring company! We dealt with a mess from another AC company that was dispatched out by our home warranty company who was claiming we had black mold in our air handler. I called Tru Home Maintenance to complete an air duct and unit cleaning, when the technician arrived he took a look at the unit and was honest and kind advising we didnt in fact have mold, but condensation and dust!! This company could have easily still performed the work I initially called about but they have integrity! I have not had worked performed by this company, but I will say I definitely would knowing they work as an honest, caring company.Side note, the lady I spoke with on the phone to schedule the work was extremely nice. She was polite, courteous and professional. She worked hard to get a technician out to our home before we left out of town. Bonus!

I have the utmost confidence in recommending Chris, Travis and the team. After they showed up on time (such a rare occurance for so many in this field) They explained exactly what my options were, and gave me the choice to think it over, get another opinion, etc. After getting my system completely replaced, I can now relax knowing the work was done right - the way I wouldve done it (if that was my thing) and not done halfway like the previous owners had it done. If it was possible to give a negative score to fully warn you to avoid this company I would.True Home is the worst combination for a service company coming to your home - incompetent, unprofessional, and surly.The first technician dispatched was completely unable to diagnose anything and appeared his only qualification was that he is the brother-in-law of the owner.The owner of the company then had to visit, arrived late, was annoyed, talked on his cell phone the entire time, failed to communicate with me and and still never finished the job.I recommend you call any HVAC company other than True Home Maintenance. We had to.. . . And, following up after a shocking rebuttal from the True Home (below) in which the owner attempts to defame the customer publicly . . . I strongly recommend you call someone else who values customers . . .The owner admits his technicians are unqualified . . . but family members.He expresses annoyance about rescheduling . . . reinforcing that True Homes time is more valuable than the customers.He admits willingly failing to communicate at any time while on site . . . ensuring he does not know my wife is driving into the development at the same time as I need to depart for the airport . . . a fact that was communicated prior to the scheduled repair, but couldnt be discussed because the owner couldnt be inconvenienced to put his call on hold / call his parts supplier back.Everything in this situation could have been avoided . . . if True Home actually attempted to treat us as a customers instead of an inconvenience.True Home Maintenance - incompetent, unprofessional, surly and on-line trolls.

I came home after work on a 105 degree day to a house without a/c. I called True Home and Chris Schaubert was at my house within 40 minutes. 15 minutes later he had discovered the problem and my A/C was back pumping cold air in another 15 minutes. Chris is a great guy and he took the time to explain the problem to me. Im getting their twice a year preventative maintenance service. They have gotten my business for good!
