I still have not received my refund check, and nobody in your office WILL RETURN A PHONE CALL. I have left numerous messages with your answering service, and not ONE PHONE HAS BEEN RETURNED. Had the worst experience of my life with this company. STAY AWAY from this company. I was completely taken advantage of and screwed out of $500 dollars!! PLUS, they cant even return a phone. We have called three times now, and not one call back to help resolve our issue! STAY AWAY!!!..UPDATE. Still waiting for my refund.. Its been 3 months now! Promise after promise, and nothing has been resolved. Cant even get a call back...ANOTHER UPDATE: Still have not heard back from anyone in the actual office!!! I have left 3 messages with the answering service. WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY, CANT EVEN RETURN A CALL OR REFUND MONEY AS PROMISED!!!!

Amazing services, constant communication would highly recommend this company. Phone call and text prior to their arrival with a photograph of the technical that is heading your way. Fair pricing I couldnt complain considering my A/C unit is over 15 years old and they knew how to fix and maintain my unit. Great job guys keep up the hard work. Thanks for keeping it Cool. 😎👍

I have used FH in the past and ended up signing up for the Comfort Club program. It has worked out well and recently I had a heater issue where it was on but no actual heat coming out. FH was at my house within 2 hours of my call, found some issues, and took care of them. With the Comfort Club it cost me nothing for the repair and visit.These guys are always responsive and professional. Chad, the Operations Manager, has taken the time in the past to address any concerns I had regarding a repair I had them perform with replacing my A/C coils. That repair was done well, the A/C is still working great, and I even noticed my electric bill went down as it was now working efficiently. I highly recommend them.

Ive been with FH for several years. They are not the cheapest around, but not the most expensive either. One thing I can always be certain with them is that the quality of their work will be top notch. Ive been impressed with every tech theyve sent out. They also tend to use brands that are manufactured in America, while being able to offer reasonable prices that are comparable to their highly-rated competitors.

I had fountain hills Air conditioning come out today. The repair person was very nice, I will give them that. However we were told that our whole AC unit needed to be replaced and it would cost us over 10,000.00 they could patch fix it temporarily and that would cost us 800 to 900.00. I called several other companies for second opinions because well TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for one AC unit. Every other company said my unit did not need to be replaced, I finally decided on a company to do the 300.00 repair and my AC is up and working great! I was being lied to here so they could make a huge sale! They charged me 89.00 to come out, not do a thing and lie to my face....Total scam!

When our AC blew out warm air on a Saturday night after 10 p.m., we called expecting an answering machine. When a real person answered and offered to send someone out in 30 minutes, we were shocked. They charged our system that night and it has been fine. You cannot expect a better response.

I paid $465 for a 3 year contract, but after a few months, I told them I wanted to cancel it. They refused to give me my money back AND they cancelled the contract too! The reason I wanted to cancel is because they quoted me a price of $7,000 for a new portion of the unit, which was very overpriced. Another company quoted me $4,000 for the same thing. For this reason I feel they arent a reputable company.

*** This issue was resolved and I have updated my rating based on the amazing customer service we received from John the GM. Please read below:After seeing the review I posted below, John the GM/Owner asked me when a good time would be to talk. We scheduled a call and he spent 45 minutes on the phone with me. You can tell he is a very genuine human and was extremely attentive to the issues we were discussing. As in any business, the duty is to properly train employees to carry out expert business. We addressed the gaps and he vowed to make this right.Throughout our conversation he asked me several times if my concerns were resolved and I appreciated that as he didn’t want me to walk away still with a sour taste in my mouth. It’s not every day that the owner of a company wants to talk to you and genuinely connect to address our concerns.He personally drove our refund check to our house to ensure we received it in a timely manner. In addition to our refund he brought us a gift card for our troubles. He did not ask me to update my review, but upon this kind mans interaction, I will confidently say that he is the absolute right man for the job. I have faith that he will do what is right and ensure that the employees are properly up to speed from here on out. If we didn’t already have our system fixed, we would consider using his service again.—————————Original Review:Had FH come out for AC service and was told that coils were corodid and small leak but could not find it because it was in the back. Had them come out a month later said that I needed a new system for $6500. Came to replace AC unit and tech said the prior tech did not measure and there was no way to get the unit up in attic.After some research I got a 2nd opinion and was told by two different companies and told just need coils replaced which is still under warranty.Contacted FH and and asked why there was no communication regarding previous warranty and got the run around. Asked for a refund of my deposit and was given an option to have the unit replaced for $2700 and not $6500. 1. Why would I want it replaced if it doesn’t need to be? 2. How can you offer me 50% off a unit? Apparently this company is about making a profit rather than servicing their customers as all over websites list customer #1. Please do research and look before buying. If it wasn’t for their tech’s errors, I would have spent $5700 on a unit I did not need. Was thinking that since during the pandemic we face this past few months, companies would be nice and treat people with respect and not screw a customer over. They would have had a lot more business but wanted to make a quick buck rather than have a forever customer. Good job FH👍

FH Air Conditioning is deceitful. Shortly after buying my house, I received a call from FH Air Conditioning acting like I was a customer of theirs and I worked with them before. It was only when I told them I didnt own the house on the last service date did they admit that they serviced it for the previous owners. So they clearly pull public record from home sales and call new homeowners acting like youve worked with them before to try to get new sales.They have now called me an additional four times in the past month after I have consistently told them not to. Find a company who actually values and respects customers.

The dispatch was very friendly and keep me up to date with what was happening. After working in the AC industry, I know these guys are better then 90% of the rest. FOUNTAIN HILLS AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING is the worse rip-off company out there that is taking advantage of the public during these trying times. They performed work at my tenants house for about $350 that cost less than $100.00 anywhere else. They charged me $88.00 for a part that cost about $15.00. They charged me over $100.00 to rewire about 2-3 feet of wire, which took less than 15 minutes. Their labor charge was about $250.00 for about 30 minutes, which is absurd! To make matters worse, the A/C unit that was repaired is less than 3 years old and is still under warranty. They took advantage of my tenant who clearly did not understand what was going on and in need of help. They did this despite being on notice the A/C unit was still new and under warranty and that my tenant was not the owner of the house or A/C unit. Stay very far away from FOUNTAIN HILLS AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING as they are dishonest and charge exorbitant rates!

Was quoted approximately $1500 in parts and labor to fix the unit and it was better off for me to replace the unit for $7800.Our family does not make a whole lot of money so we decided to purchase a window unit for the little guest house in which my son lives in.During the hottest parts of this summer season we could not get the house cooled down lower than 88°With a little of my own investigation I replaced all the capacitors, and did a patch job of the broken fan and got the system working again for approximately $50 and 15min worth of work.It feels pretty gross when people are taken advantage of just because I do not know all that much about HVAC repair.I would never recommend this company. EVER!!1

Scheduled for a tune up with Fountain Hills Air some time back and was pleasantly surprised about everything overall. The office staff was courteous and explained the process of the tune up and the different offerings they had going. Received a reminder call the day before and a call from the technician when they were on their way. Technician was very respectful of my home and did not leave any mess. After a little while he informed me that there was a leak in one of my coils and that he had called his supervisor out to verify his findings. The supervisor showed me the area that had the leak and even offered me to use his tool so that I may see that was indeed a leak. They recommended replacing the coil or the system depending on what I would/could do. I did not do the work with Fountain Hills Air as I did want to get a second opinion. Had another advertised company come out and they said there was no leak. When I called Fountain Hills Air they offered to come back out with the 2nd company to verify everything. Both companies came out and Fountain hills Air was indeed correct! The other company did not use the same tool but used soap bubbles? Who does that? Come to find out, after having a few other companies out Fountain Hills Air was correct in the diagnosis and, so far, is the only company that uses this leak detection tool. I did not replace with fountain hills air due to financial circumstances but did have them charge the system for now.I will DEFINITELY be recommending to everyone and will continue to use ONLY them. The most HONEST company that I have found in this state!

Proceed with caution if you chose to use this company, they are unethical and use bad tactics to get what they want. My AC started blowing hot air and needed to be serviced. I do have a 13-year-old unit, that I know has a small leak (hence the need to have coolant added) and I do need to replace it soon. However, this is not the time I was planning on it and was hoping to get one more season out of it and I also told each company I know the unit is old.When the tech showed up he went up to the roof for about 5-10 min. During that time my AC started blowing cold, but then warm again twice. When he came down I was expecting him to tell me the problem since I could feel the cold air while he was up there. He immediately pulled out his phone and proceeded to show me pictures of how bad my unit was (age, leak, etc.) along with how low my coolant was. To which I said, I know it has a slow leak, can you at least charge it for now so that I can get through this summer? You did something when you were up there and the cold air started blowing twice. To which he told me he has to call his supervisor on speaker.Once the supervisor got on, the tech asked if he saw the pictures he sent him of my unit. He hadnt and started to review them with the tech on speakerphone. He repeated EVERYTHING the tech had already said, with extra emphasis on how bad my unit is. He said with leaks and the age of the unit I couldnt he also told me that the type of coolant that my AC takes isnt even available any longer so even if there werent leaks there was nothing he could do. He then told me that he could get me into a new unit for only $120/month.He proceeded to tell me about the unit, the benefits, and everything else he could think of. When I asked what $120/month equaled the quote was almost $9,800. I thanked him for his time and then informed him that I had two more companies coming out over the next two days and if I need him I will call again. He then jumped into comparison pricing and offered to come to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with me Thursday to compare offers because he wont be beat on price. I again said thank you, but if I determine I need you I will call. He gave one more attempt and he now remembered there was a unit in the warehouse that could be available for as low as $7K. I once again said thank you, if I need you I will call thank you for your time.I had a different company come out the next day and told me the same thing, Your unit is old, and has leaks which is why you need coolant. You could probably squeeze one more season out of this though. I can recharge it for you. Its expensive because you have an old unit so $60/lb. You will probably need 5 - 7 pounds. I agreed and he charged it. When he came back down to check he noticed it was still blowing warm and went back up to see if he missed something. Shortly after I felt the cold air coming out. When he came back in the house to check he said there was a piece of insulation that was blocking airflow preventing the cold air. Remember when I said the FH Technician did something and the cold air was blowing. The previous tech knew there was a piece of insulation blocking airflow and when removed cold air would blow again.This company lied to me and it cost me $37 to hear it. I have requested a refund, and I am hoping to hear back from them soon.I do not believe this company can be trusted. When it comes time to replace my unit the company I will be using the same company that charged me $360 to get my AC back up and running.

The response to my call was very quick. Id been advised my Gas pack unit was leaking water out the side of my roof unit. I was responded to very quickly & the issue seemed to be hi condensation due to our hi humidity. No true crisis, but rapid resolve. thanks.

They doubled he normal install price for a capacitor that was covered under warranty. $279.00 Usual price for this is $125.00. they claimed they provided the part fee of charge!!! Nice guy and quick service, but they are cheats, too bad. I have a friend with their labor price list!!!

Setting up an appointment was quick and easy. We asked to be called before arrival, that was done, and he was on time. I had a specific request involving my a/c, i ask, and he complied. The technician was courteous and seemingly knowledgeable; however he did not fix the problem of the condensate not coming out of the hose. Rather, he said the system had come apart and that he could rebuild it at the cost of $166.00. I told him to put it back together and leave it. Water still did not flow so I called a local company to check it out. They found a plug in the system which they removed and solved the problem.

We called Fountain Hills for a second opinion after discovering no air was getting to the entire back of the house and are so glad we did!Dan, the technician who arrived on time, was incredibly knowledgeable. He took time to thoroughly examine our system, took photos of the attic he later walked us through, measured the output in every room and had emailed us a report before he even left the house. He had clearly seen a lot of unique situations like ours (we have a ranch home that was built in 1955 and has had many additions) and was interested in offering a long-term, viable solution, which he did.Ultimately, well be hiring them to do fix our system, and for about $4,000 cheaper than the first estimate we received at that.

While our service specialist Dan S. brought us some news we didnt want to hear ( a fairly significant repair ) he was incredibly professional. Quickly identified the problem, presented documentation and options allowing us to make an informed decision. Hired them to come out and look at my one 4 ton that was blowing hot air. They had someone come out. He took a video of him checking for a leak with a wand he said listen you can hear it,....and you couldn’t hear anything and he said it was leaking. Then said everything had already leaked out. So how is that possible and said needed new ac immediately I will call my boss on the phone right now and see what he wants to do. Well, before he came in I heard him on the phone with his boss sounded like they were getting their scam story straight. Anyway I said ok give me a quote in the morning. They emailed me, they forgot my name and actually had OTHER people’s names down. Didn’t even give a quote. I called another company, got incredible pro help they installed a 5 ton the very next day. STAY AWAY FROM FH AIR THEYRE AIRHEADS. This is the 1st company I’ve written a bad report about. They were that bad and terrible liars.

The Tech was very nice and seemed very Honest- His Super had to come and evaluate my system to tell me I should get a new one. All i needed was a new wire. I paid for that but then find I charged twice for the transaction. i called office Left a message and sent a text to dispatch- No response back all day- I finally called after work to find that no one was informed.I paid with a Credit card but now they have to mail me a check that will take 3 days to arrive. They never once sad we apologize for in convince. If I needed service they would called back in a jiffy-Manger should be aware of the slack in customer Service- :(Its all good! but please know that -** No at the office offered for me to pick up the check- Thats incorrect Owner**

I just had my whole A/C replaced and wow what a pleasant experience. First of all no one wants to get this done and yes the expense is great. These guys showed up early and got right to business. The owner even stopped y by to make sure that things were on task. I have heard of these taking all day to install and these guys got it done in 3 hours. Cleaned everything up as if they were never there and explained what they were doing along the way. This is a big expense but as they left I was glad I chose Fountain Hills A/C. I would like to start with the fact that I live in Queen Creek and although the name of the company was Fountain Hills Air I had a technician to my home within 1 hour of calling. I have to say THAT is service. Called in for a second opinion roughly around 6pm and spoke with Melissa. Not only was she friendly but the business phrase of How can I make you smile made me forget the negative experience I just had with another company. Not only did I laugh- I did ask her to tell me a joke, which she did. Had a technician to my home, I forgot his name, but he was in a clean and tucked uniform was polite and explained refrigerant loss, maintenance to keep the unit running and also found that the previous company diagnosis was wrong and that it was actually my motor that was bad. Being new to the reviewing online world I was not going to review Fountain Hills Air but since I reviewed the other company that mis-diagnosed and I had a bad dealing with why not give praise to the company that actually deserves & has earned my business and kudos!

Not happy.Was told I needed two new air-conditioners and called another company and they discovered one had a bad relay switch at a cost of $75 and another one needed two pounds of Freon. The repairman must be on commission, but this is a small town so word gets around.No wonder they send all those post cards out advertising for business.I am out about $60 for a service call and all they intended to do was sell me new units. As a senior citizen, i feel victimized.Wonder why after reading dozens of reviews on other venues that there is not one case of the company taking responsibility?

Response time was very good. So they get 2 stars for that - but wanted to replace whole unit for $7,000. Evaporator coils were starting to show signs of leaking. All it needed was a capacitor $50 part that they charged $295 to replace. A 5 minute job.

Our A/C unit is starting to age, and so are we! We asked Fountain Hills Air to service our A/C unit before the summer heat requires it to be in constant use. Their technician Matt came, was on time, very professional and did a very thorough job. We had moving boxes blocking indoor access to our attic, and Matt went into the attic thru our garage ceiling which required him to crawl a further distance to inspect our ducts and air handler. He thoroughly cleaned the cooling coils, checked the Freon level and our thermostat. He also went the extra mile to show and explain each aspect of our units condition and the air flow inside our home. After all that, he assured us that our A/C is in good condition and should serve us well for the coming year. We trust Fountain Hills Air and will call them for any future needs.

We moved to AZ from MA two years ago and didnt have a clue who we could trust. Cant remember if Fountain Hills found us or we them but in any case, so HAPPY we connected! From their answering the phone to the men who do the work, completely SATISFIED with ALL of them. We started with a 5 year service agreement and upon the Spring (2015) inspection decided to install a new system before the original (12 years old) decided to start giving us problems. From purchase to install, 4 days (a day ahead of schedule). Professional, knowledgeable,courteous and only a phone call away, we are highly impressed!

Just had the inspection done on our unit. Jason came into the house and checked the furnace and A/C components in the attic. Went outside for the cooler/condensor unit and did a check on the operating conditions etc. Was very upfront and open on things he found and made a couple recommendations for the next visit based on the findings today. We will certainly consider them as they seemed sensible and prudent.Overall satisfied with his visit and hope he will be the Tech we have for the next tuneup.Good Job

Matt the service technician was so thorough. He showed us pictures of the attic unit and spent so much time reviewing our system inside and out. We were under contract with another company and they went belly up which we had no idea this happened. Fountain Hills Air Conditioning called and informed us they bought our contract and wanted to come out and service our air and heat. Bill Smart was the teck that came out and we couldnt have been more pleased with his service. It seems to have been a good thing the other company went belly up because we got a better company with better service.

Replacing an HVAC system for my home is one of the most important contractor decisions I have had to make in the 14 years I have been here. I spoke with a number of neighbors as well as looking at on-line reviews. The winner was Fountain Hills Air Conditioning.They were not the least expensive but the difference was only about 1.2% more than what my #2 choice would have been. What sold me first was their proposal to use Amana equipment which is almost exclusively manufactured in the US and has the highest US parts/components %. I have had excellent experience with Amana previously.Even with enough recommendations from people I trust and who because of their professions would know more than I about HVAC systems, I still wanted to meet the owner - no problem - he wanted to meet me as well.Everyone from the sales person who came to inspect my current set up to the installers - Omar and Jason (not sure if that was his name) were on time, neatly presented and went about their work very professionally. I had two aircon units installed by them. After 6 tries over three days they were not able to get the new Honeywell controls they recommended to work. At one point the operations manager, Chad, came by. His quote was,I can give them the manuals but cant make them read. I little unfair of him since he didnt know how to install it either. I finally went with Nest. After 3 weeks, they still havent finished the work. They had to order filter holders. I have called about them 5 times over two days. They promise they will have the operations manager, Chad call, but he never does. In fact they have never returned a call.Terrible costumer service, frustrating company, poorly trained techs. Hopefully there is a better company out there. By the way, if you try and post a dissatisfied review on there web site, it locks you out.

Semi-annual service under the Club, performed by Keola was great. He was very pleasant, with straightforward answers to my questions about my condensate line and recommendations. He was not here very long. I checked the filters and they weee filthy! It sure he even looked at the 3nd ac unit. The fancy air cleaners you sold me when I put the units in did t last long! The first one went out within six months and the 2nd one hasn’t worked for several months! Sorry I can’t refer you guys!

Just had Dan in our home in Fountain Hills. While here to inspect my heating/cooling system, I asked about a wi/fi thermostat. He was very knowledgeable and we had him install one, set it up, and get us comfortable with it. He was perfectly patient and helpful through the entire process. We also had him do a lifetime furnace filter on his suggestion and extended our club agreement. Could not be happier with Dans service or the company. Would highly recommend.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I got ripped off. They charged me $350.00 to do a chemical wash and replace a phase shifter whatever that is. Then told me a new AC unit would be 8-10K and that this is the worst year to buy an AC unit because the EPA regulations have changed. Funny, because I got a second opinion who quoted me a way more reasonable price of $5,600.00 for a new install.Come to find out its under new ownership and the employees work off 100% commission. Save yourself a headache and DONT call them!HORRIBLE!!!!

Came out to my house give some kind lie that my outside unit wasnt any good(my outside unit was replaced in 2013)and I know my inside unit is old needs to be cleaned but they are smooth talker that acted as if me a/c was going to quit tomorrow I would never recommend this company to no 1 I even said if that bad write up a REPORT bc its under warranty bc I just bought this house he said no I will not if you want us to fix your problem its 7,000 dollars . Well fountain Hills came back out back to my house send the original technician that came to my house in March he was very pleasant and said he didnt think cleaning would help my a/c I need a new a/c he wrote a new REPORT bc its under warranty through my park thank u again for making things right.
