I called early in the morning and left a message. Jeff called me back and said he could get me worked in the same day. He came when he said he would and had my air conditioner fixed within 45 minutes. Jeff explained everything that he did and what was wrong with my air conditioner. He gave me some great advice about my air conditioner that I appreciate greatly. Jeff was recommended to me by my brother who had a air conditioner installed about ten years ago and my brother had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Unfortunately I havent had the good experience that others seem to have had. I just want maintenance on my air conditioner. I had to call multiple times on both occasions that I was able to get them to my house. This time they would not even schedule me but I was told he would call me back on a specific day 2 weeks out and of course as in the past he did not call. This time I decided not to chase him down and I will find someone more reliable
Botched up a seemingly easy wiring job on my thermostat and Jeff came to the rescue. Turns out there was some sort of retrofit on my a/c blower and the wiring diagram didnt match up to what it was originally, after he did an inspection of the unit itself he easily got the A/C back up and running. I had a new replacement unit installed on my house by Lewis & Sons on the 1st of May. The first thing I was most impressed about is that Jeff Lewis himself answered the phone and took my calls. After he gave me the price for my 3.5 ton 16 seer dual stage compressor rooftop heat pump with an ecobee Pro 5 thermostat and a sensor I was absolutely floored. I called several companies including the big names like Parker and Sons and I just could not believe the savings I was going to get by using Lewis & Sons. I had even become skeptical about maybe she wasnt doing something that the other companies were not. So I called and asked the questions. NOPE!!!!! I was getting the exact same thing in regards to service being performed that the other companies were offering. When it came time to have my unit installed I was floored again to find out that the man in the name of the company and the man who answered the phone was also the man who showed up to install my unit. Jeff was very professional and straightforward. There were no bells and whistles that he tried to chime in front of me. He told me he would give me a good price and he did. He told me when he would show up to be there to install the unit and he was there. Even told me how long it would take to install the unit and actually did it faster. Replacing your air conditioner is a lot of money and if I had to do it again I would use Lewis and Sons again and I highly recommend anybody in the market for a new air conditioning give this company a call so that you can be awed just like I was. Btw, I have had that unit installed for a month-and-a-half now and I can literally keep my house 6 degrees cooler at 2 to $3 less a day and it works perfectly.

Very Very Pleased!Jeff Lewis helped us from the first phone call. He came out earlier than I expected for the initial evaluation and put in a lot of work to evaluate the problem on a very uncommon unit. He charged us a more than fair price for the evaluation. He then spend much more time on the phone with warranty companies and service techs on my behalf to find out my options.We came up with the best solution together as he thoroughly explained my options in detail. He charged a very reasonable price and since I was without air, moved me to the front of is service list for service the next morning!!!! They installed a new unit for me in a very short time.I felt great about how fair Jeff was and the level of service he provided for us. I have been having issues for over a year with my smaller a/c unit. The company I had been dealing with had been out 5 times and continued to misdiagnose the units freon loss. I decided to contact Lewis & Sons because of their great reviews on google. Bud & Jeff came out the next morning & immediately said that my indoor a/c coil is leaking. After replacing the freon & injecting dye to verify their diagnosis, they came out with a blacklight & showed me the leak. It was indeed the coil. They replaced the copper coil with a new aluminum one & gave me a very fair price. These guys are honest as the day is long. I would recommend Bud & Jeff to anyone looking to service their a/c unit. They are old school and complete their work in a fast, efficient, & professional manner. Great job Bud & Jeff! We appreciate your work ethic and the fair price that you charge. Originally I had gotten my ac unit looked at by another company that was going to charge me an arm and a leg to clean my inner and outer coils. I called Lewis and Sons for a second opinion and spoke with Bud. He was very knowledgeable and came and took a look at my unit. It turned out that my inner and outer coils did not need a cleaning! He even took a picture of my inside coils and invited me up in the attic to see. They looked great! they did not need a cleaning at all! I was glad to get their second opinion. There were a few small repairs they did for me. They were efficient and moved quickly. I think they charged me fair for their time. When I needed them to come back a second time I spoke with Jeff. Having my little ones at home, he was kind enough to work me in the schedule that same day. They came, fixed my circuit breaker, and where done in about 15-20 minutes. All in all, they seem to provide honest, good work.

Lewis and Sons was very responsive and got here the very next day (I called late in the afternoon the previous day). Another repairman had actually been out to fix the unit a day before but was unable to after several attempts. Apparently it was a tricky issue. Lewis and Sons identified the problem in an hour, and took about another hour or so to fix it. They were courteous and professional throughout their service. I will call them again if I end up having any other HV/AC issues.Update 7/7: My AC unit began leaking the other day. I suctioned out the condensate pipe using my shop vac and it was still leaking, so I called Lewis and Sons figuring Id have to bite the bullet and pay someone to come out and fix it. One of the guys diagnosed the issue over the phone and told me how to PROPERLY suction out the pipe. I did what he suggested and it worked. He could have come out and made a quick few bucks but instead taught me how to do it at no charge. This is the type of company I am comfortable (and pleased) to give my continued business to.
Jeff and Bud Lewis just left from doing annual service on our two AC units. Weve used Lewis and Sons for our HVAC services since 1994 -- Yes, thats 22 years! They provide timely and professional service. In short, they know what theyre doing. They dont try to sell us anything we dont need but do offer suggestions and options for our consideration. For example, last year they suggested changing our stamped vent covers to a different type. The claim was that the newer type was much quieter when the unit was running, and were they right -- we now hardly hear the AC running! All-in-all, we appreciate their service, professionalism, and efficiency.

I am so impressed with this company. I was told by another AC company that my compressor was bad and I needed a whole new unit. I called Jeffery Lewis for a second opinion and he found that it was only a fan motor! That saved me over 7k! He arrived at my house within 30 minutes of calling, and in time to cancel a new unit being delivered. A short time later I had AIR! Honest businesses are hard to find. I have had issues with my AC for about a year now. Though it was fixed last year but all of a sudden it started blowing hot air. I first called through Home Depot which sent out Orangutan (HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY). Then I decided to get a second opinion. I found the reviews for Lewis and Sons to be nothing but positive. I gave them a call and within a couple days they came out to diagnose the problem. They refilled my AC with freon and a leak stop as it seemed there may have been a leak. 2 months later all of a sudden it was blowing hot air. I called them and they were able to come out within a day. They looked at the AC and told me that it was the compressor. They handled all the warranty work and ordered the part. As soon as they received the part the put me on the schedule. If you are looking for a good honest company look no further. They were up front about issues it could be and looked for the best option for me. I wouldnt look any further if you need an honest, reliable AC repair company. They have excellent customer service and explain all the work that was completed.
I now know who to call. These men are hard working, prompt, and talented at what they do. They were able to diagnose and fix my Air Conditioning on my house. They were clean, quick, and cared. The fee was fair and I am very happy to have a company that I know I can count on.

A couple of weeks ago had to get A/C fixed before going away on vacation. Had to be done quick as leaving dog sitter with dogs at home. Jeff came around early next morning & quickly diagnosed a bad fan ( bearings worm out ). Fan was replaced & job completed within a couple of hours for a reasonable price. Within a couple of hours the house was cooling down again which was great as it was 110 outside & 100 inside !Thanks Jeff

4/13/2015My 13 year old Upstairs heat pump died last week, so I lined up 4 estimates for a new one. The first 3, while very professional, all went to the Downstairs Air Handler and all commented that the tonnage was mis matched. Bud Lewis arrived and within 90 seconds of looking at the incorrect air handler quickly went to the Correct Upstairs unit and showed me the damage, and gave me a Very competitive bid. And even came in on Saturday with Casey and replaced it with the new Carrier unit.Not only is Bud knowledgeable and excellent at his job, he is the type of person you would be proud to call your friend. Lewis and Sons will surely be the ones to replace the downstairs unit when it is time, Great Job.
When I called to make an appointment/service a man answered very rude. I asked if he can do a ductless mini split, he said, Yeah. I waited for him to tell me more information about his service and there was a long pause. I finally said, Can I have someone come out to check it out? He said, Uh, yeah. Then again a long pause and he gave an excuse that I caught he in a middle of a job. I told him that his customer service sucks. He stated, Well if you think my customer service sucks, well then maybe you should find someone else.I cant believe they have a 5 star, that man sounded like an old man and needs to be schooled on how customer service works. Customer is always right, if you want business.
(Updated review 8/24/15) Had them come out to my Father in Laws house today. Old unit, we were afraid it might need to be replaced. Lewis and Sons came out, quickly and efficiently diagnosed the problem as a burned out wire and part, replaced them both, and unit is up and working again. Much cheaper than we had thought. Thanks guys!Second time Ive had Lewis and Sons come out, both times fixed the problem quickly at a reasonable price; and both times they came out promptly, and showed up in the time window they said they would.Even though this is the second time Ive had them come out, it is the 3rd time theyve helped me. These are the most honest, hardworking and knowledgeable guys in the industry. The owner, Jeff Lewis, has worked in the field for more than 35 years and has knowledge of both residential and commercial HVAC equipment, air conditioning, heating, mug chillers, walk-ins, evaporative coolers. You name it and he has worked on it a thousand times. He doesnt replace parts or compressors that arent bad and hed give you the shirt off his back. They just dont come more honest than Jeff Lewis. Im lucky, because hes not just my A/C guy, hes my brother.

We just moved to Mesa and two days after purchasing our home the capacitator went out on our air conditioner (of course in July) we called and Jeff answered and came over within an hour had us back up and running and definitely at a fair price. Hindsight is 20/20… and when Lewis and Sons fixed my AC in less than an hour, it was very clear how the first two companies (yes, two) were both cheats!Jeff and his brother came out to have a look at our AC. When we described the problems we were having, Jeff and his brother knew immediately where to look. They quickly found a leak in the outside unit, repaired it, and filled it up with refrigerant, all the while explaining what they were doing in a way that made sense. They charge by the hour for their work, but moved quickly and with purpose, sealing the leak up in no time at all! I have never in my life taken the time to write a review for a company, even though I have had plenty of good service in my life, but all of us need to know who to call when our AC goes out.These guys are honest, fair and reasonable priced. I will call them every time from now on
Now a customer for life. Is there a 10 star rating? Another A/C company come out to perform routine summer maintanence on my system that was running smoothly prior to arrival. Some how “sparks” occurred during said maintanence and our system completely shutdown. Another tech had to come out, a more “experienced” individual. This person could not get the system to run either and furthermore quoted us an outrageous “rewiring” fee! We called Lewis and Sons for a second opinion. They came out with 2 techs and thuroughly examined every inch of the system, found and removed unnecessary equipment, and the system is now running smoothly again for a FRACTION of the price the other guys quoted me. Thank you Lewis and Sons.
Our upstairs A/C stopped working due an electrical issue, so I called Lewis & Sons. They fit me in the next day and had the problem fixed in 30 minutes. Very affordable, honest and friendly. Ill definitely hang onto their info for the future.

Cant say enough about these guys, was told from another A/C company that my trane XL20i needed new compressors and the unit was only 2 yrs old. Still under warranty but not the labor. Bud and Jeff was right on time and found a broken start up capacitor wire in 45 min. When you need someone honest/fair in price and on time call these guys. Temp 112 outside when one of our A/C units quit.- After reading positive reviews, I called Thursday afternoon and they arrived Friday morning as promised. After a quick diagnosis they replaced the $45 failed capacitor on the Air handler fan. Entire service call took less than 30 minutes and they were on their way. Great service, sound troubleshooting, parts on the truck, fair price = Happy customer!

Call Lewis and Sons Air Conditioning Inc, youll be happy you did!This morning our HVAC unit began blowing out cold air (Dec 29th) and I noticed the unit was making a loose-bearing sound. Googled HVAC repairs and saw Lewis and Sons Air Conditioning Inc had 5 stars and 30 reviews so I gave them a call.Extremely satisfied with the service and price! They came out within 90 minutes of my call and got right down to the problem in under 5 minutes!! Problem solved and I was charged a simple service call fee, no hassling, no scare-tactics about needing to replace the unit - however they did advise it is an uncommon issue and could be a sign of wearing parts, however did educate me about the issue so I can properly diagnose it should (anomaly) happen again.
I found Lewis and Sons on Google and knew nothing about them, but I needed emergency repairs done on my rental property AC unit. They diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly, and at a fair price. Very honest, fast, and fair.
