Our heat went out in the middle of the night. When we woke up it was freezing cold. I called my warranty company on Thursday. It was New Years Day, so I wasn’t sure if they would be able to get someone to come out right away due to the holidays. Degree Air Conditioning was the company assigned to us through the warranty.. The warranty called me Thursday to let me know that my appointment window was Monday between 10-3. I called Degree Air Conditioning and spoke to Ryan directly to see if there was any possibility of them getting out to me sooner, because I have 3 small kids and it has been getting extremely cold in the nights. I was really stressing that we would have to stick it out through the whole weekend. Ryan told me he would do his best to have his tech out the next day. (Friday) and told me to call him Friday morning. I called him Friday and he let me know the tech would be by today to get us taken care of! Martin came by and fixed the issue. He got our heat working quickly. I really appreciate these guys pushing to get our service taken care of so quickly so we don’t have to go through another cold night! Great service. Would definitely use them again.

Excellent service and I trust Ryan and Lincoln and team to do the job correctly. I have used Degree three times in the last 2 months. I got a brand new unit replaced and they were great at giving a fair price and working with my warranty company. I also have a rental that they helped me update some things. Recently, I had a leak through my ceiling and they came out on emergency for me and fixed my issues the same day! These guys are wonderful to work with and will always help in a bind if they can. Was referred to Degree by my home warranty company. My central air suddenly stopped working and due to health issues I needed some fast service. I spoke with Ryan regarding my situation.The next day Lincoln arrived to look at my system and identified many issues. A date to fix the problems was set. Much to my surprise and excitement a crew arrived the following day to install the needed equipment. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR HOMEBUYER WARRANTEE ISSUES.When the tecnition came out he claimed the AC unit wasnt working because of maintenance issues and wanted to buy a new unit, $5 - 7k. I asked they completely check out the unit and let me know if anything would be covered by the warrantee. He said he would once the unit had defrosted. 2 1/2 days an 4 calls, 1 text message later in 103 outside and 93 inside, I called another vendor to fix it. On the very next day Degree called and said they would try to contact the warrantee company to see what they would do. I told them I got the unit fixed. The voltage regulator had to be replaced and the P-Trap and pvc pipe repaired and replaced, neither of which is a maintenance issue. They just wanted the money to replace the unit.
I cant say enough good things about Degree air. Rob who showed up to diagnosis the problem two days before the home warranty people made the appointment. Ryan who helped me out tremendously while I argued with home warranty. Ryan got his techs to come out on holiday weekend to put my ac in. Luis and Angel who worked in 110 degree heat in the attic to get me going. They were great. Cleaned everything up and made sure everything was to my satisfaction.

My old ac unit went out and needed to replace, both inside and out side units.I contacted Degree air and Heating, they were prompt to respond came out and looked the situation over and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work. i went ahead and hired them to do the job and they were so professional went right to work the whole job was completed that same day the installers were quite good made sure to keep the house tidy took the old unit away no charge so happy with them a big thumbs up!!!
My AC went out & the 1st two companies my Home Warranty sent out could not find the problem.I called Degree late in the afternoon as temps were climbing inside my home.Ryan came out within 2 hours of the call and was able to diagnose the problem. It was so late, he couldnt get the necessary part until the next day, but managed to patch the AC together enough to cool down the House for the evening.He made it a priority to get out here asap the next morning and got the AC up and running.I called my Home Warranty people and told them they needed to add this company to their confirmed list of vendors.Ryan himself was friendly & personable & shared my concern for the well being of my dogs in this heat.
After 2 months of dealing with our home warranty company they finally sent out professional technicians! Degree came out and immediately diagnosed the problem and explained to our home warranty that we needed a complete new unit and had it installed mostly covered by the warranty company! The techs that came out to install the unit, Ryan, Dale and Aaron, were prompt and very professional. Highly recommend, will suggest to my friends and family!!!!
Ryan, Lincoln and Aaron put in a new AC/heating unit. They were on time, they did a great job. They were courteous and polite and went out of there way to help me.
Short version: High integrity, capable professionals.Long version:My AC was only cooling by 7F (as opposed to 15-20 in a healthy AC); I placed a Home Warranty claim with First American at about 7PM.I was assigned a contractor, Degree, and they were there first thing in the morning. Reviewed the situation, found that the condenser and thermal expansion valve were bad, and let the warranty company know.Warranty company orders a new unit, delivers in a few days.Degree did miss one appointment to have the AC installed. They identified the root cause of the issue, apologized, and finished the job the very next day. I had a portable AC and the main unit was still working if poorly, so no big loss. They didnt BS the situation, and it worked out fine.Anyway, great install work from what I can tell, AC works, just good folks. They helped make the entire situation an inconvenience rather than a problem.
Our service tech Jason did a fantastic job inspecting the roof unit and thermostat to pin point the problem. Within minutes he had the AC working again. He also checked the air quality just for good measure. Great service from an obvious pro!
Ryan was awesome! Finally an honest AC guy that came out and knew what he was doing. Fixed the previous AC guys mistake and explained everything he was doing. I won’t anyone else moving forward.
My a/c went out on the 6th of Aug. My home warranty company dropped the ball consistently and finally at 3:00pm on a Thursday, after repeated calls to the warranty company they sent Bob at Degree a work order. I called and expected to have to wait until Friday for a service call but I was pleasantly surprised when Bob said his technician Jason would be out yet that day. Jason arrived at my home about 6:30pm and diagnosed the a/c and sent the warranty company a parts list the first thing Friday morning. Unfortunately, my warranty company did not order the parts until the following Monday. They sent a copy of the purchase order to Degree where Bob and Jason recognized that they had order the wrong parts. Degree called the warranty company and was able to get the parts Tuesday. Jason installed the parts Tuesday morning and everything was great until Saturday the replacement motor failed. Bob and Kenya, another Degree technician, came to my home at 10:55am Sunday and replaced the motor and my air conditioner has worked great ever since. Bob and Kenya spent 2 hours on a Sunday working on my a/c. This is a fantastic contractor that goes above and beyond to get the job done. They are professional, courteous and they KEEP their promises. I highly recommend Degree Air Conditioning and Heating.

Degree air conditioning is probably one of the best companies that have ever came out. They are honest and did not charge me a bunch of money and say a lot of different things are wrong. They did exactly what they were called out to do and didn’t overcharge me. I would recommend them !!!
These people are angels !!! My home warranty company had set me up with another contractor that never showed up. Degree came ASAP and fixed the issue in 10 minutes. So after not having air conditioning for a week (of course during the hottest week we have had so far) we are finally cool !!! They were kind, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. These guys are amazing they were out to us in no time and was able to fix the issue and cooling that night my mother is very sick and needed air conditioning otherwise we were going to be out of a lot of money having to pay for a hotel they were very courteous and also offered a free miniature AC unit in the meantime while they were fixing our home air conditioning I will always recommend them whenever I need AC repair or Heating. Our air conditioning went out yesterday afternoon. Degree came out this morning and fixed the problem in less than 24 hrs! This problem was not simple. Our compressor and fan blew apart in our attic. Kudos to this company for their quick response- especially since we have young kids! Would recommend them to anyone!
Poor customer service.. had and ac unit replaced last year through home warranty.. the technicians did damage to my house.. never came back to fix it. And also unit was sold with out a hail guard and I wasnt giving an option to even purchase one ... didnt know that until this year when our first monsoon storm hit and noticed coils were damaged .. just called bob to find out my options and he said its not his problem .. not eve a help to resolve the problem ... poor service
Contacted Home Warranty (First American) about an issue with our AC Unit. We were contacted by Degree Air Conditioning & Heating within an hour. The dispatcher said the tech could be at the house in the next 30-45 minutes.The technician arrived. Very friendly. The tech worked on the unit and once he had corrected the issue came down to the door and explained everything so I could understand.Very satisfied with the quick response and overall quickness of resolution. Everyone should use Degree Air Conditioing and Heating.

They were assigned by First American Home Warranty. I called them this this past Monday to set up an appointment and the person I spoke with, I believe his name is Mark, said that he was not in the office and couldnt see any of the incoming work orders. So I asked if there was an office number that I should call instead to set up the appointment to which he replied No, I am the office. He told me that he would call me back when he got into the office. I received a voicemail from him Tuesday afternoon and called back as soon as I was able, which was around 6pm that afternoon, and I left a voicemail with him. He called me this morning, Wednesday, around 7:45am to set up a time to come out and look at the air conditioner. He said that a tech would be out between 8am and noon. He told me that they would call when they were on their way. So I said ok and took the time off so I could be home when the tech came. Well noon came and went and I never heard anything from the tech, not even a call to say that they were running behind. So I called to check and see what was going on. The same person who I have been speaking to, Mark, answered and said that he would end up being the one to come out sometime this afternoon. I asked if there was a time estimate so that I could make sure that everything would be in order on my end (i.e picking kids up and making sure someone is home when they get here). He told me that he would be out here possibly around 4pm. So I said Ok, 4pm?. To which his reply was, First you need to calm down. I told you that someone would be out there to take care of work but you keep calling us and bothering us. If you keep bothering us then I will just reassign your work order to a different contractor. We have work to do and when you keep calling you are bothering us. and then he hung up on me. I dont think I have ever been yelled at over the phone for simply following up with a contractor when they didnt arrive in the time window they provided. I called the one time this afternoon to follow up as no one came during the time they said they would come. I immediately called the home warranty company and had them reassign the work order to another contractor. This company has horrible customer service and has no problem treating you like garbage. I would stay as far away from them as you can.*Edit- I have since spoken to the owner of this business who has just as poor customer service as his technician. When I called to express my dissatisfaction he proceeded to tell me that he was taking his technicians side and how my generation is impatient (of course not knowing my age but assuming) and that if people cant handle the heat then they should not live in Arizona. Unbelievable.
Hello All,We were looking to replace our air-conditioning unit as they were very old (22 years). We received many quotes from many installer but most of them were suggesting TRANE but Bob recommended us RHEEM. Now when you reach on it, you will hear good and bad on both thus it your choice on which brand to trust. I have chosen Rheem. So far I am happy with the choice but it is only fist week. I will come back to update from review in 6 months.But they part in all what the way Ryan and Bob did their job. on Communication front, They were quick in responses and good to their time and commitment. On Installation where Ryan and Bob have scored big marks.1. Our condenser old-unit were kept on ground. Bob recommended that you shall place the unit on elevated platform and we will provide you that. I can see the clear advantage of his installation as condenser sits above ground and thus will not rust as quickly.2. my old unit condensation line outlet was at higher height then the new unit, which require them to do additional work to install new line to get the condensation out. At first like any other, they recommended to add additional pump and pump the water out. But that would have been another moving parts which I did not want. I can see from their voice they did not believe that it was a good solution. Just upon one request they agreed to do the additional work to install new line out by saying it will take us 2-3 hours of extra work, please judge it accordingly. It was a good gesture. I paid them a little extra but i got quality work.3. On cleanliness: they cleaned to original after they left each day.4. Installation a little difficult than expected which require them to come additional but they did not rush instead took their time to do the job right.I would highly recommend you Degree Air-conditioning as the key for me was they carry a BBB logo on their car which gave me confidence that they value customer satisfaction and quality.
This company was chosen by my warranty company. I Spoke to Bob over the phone on Monday and confirmed an aappointment for Wednesday. Then on Tuesday I was notified that a new company was coming out instead and it would be on Friday. Why was the new company being sent out instead? Becasue the technician for Degree toldtmy warranty company that they were not able to confirm the scheduled appointment.
