Went for a mommy/daughter manicure. They told me to go elsewhere because they would not do a non-gel manicure on us. I have never been refused service for myself or my daughter in the past or treated so rudely in the process.

The tech who did my nails did a great job. They werent bulky and shaped to my liking. They tell you the prices before you sit down. My mother and my sister also loved they nails.

Absolutely horrible, went for a manicure & pedicure & got an infection! Staff is uncleanly, rude, & the place is disgusting. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

I’m always pleased with the service Nancy gives me. She’s professional & courteous. She’s on time within 5-10 minutes of my scheduled appointment and in all honesty I think only once I had to wait and that was during the holidays. I always get complimented on my nails when they are done.I can’t say enough about how she does such a great job with my Spa pedicure. I always fall asleep, especially with my schedule 2 jobs in nursing plus school. I live for my pedicures and she makes them worth the wait.I’ve been going to Diva Nails for about 4 1/2 years and there has been few incidents where I was displeased.Thank you Diva Nails for keeping feeling fabulous 😉😉😉

My daughter, her friend and I all went today to get our nails done with full sets. The girls wanted to get their nails done for the first day of school and I got mine done because it had been like over 8 months since I have been in a nail salon because of the pandemic. Since it was the girls first time getting a full set done they took some time to look at all the colors and style choices and I appreciated the secretary and the nail technicians being so patient while the girls looked for their colors. I thought they were very clean and cautious of keeping everyone separated for social distancing. If they do have chairs close together then they made sure to put a clear partition in between the stations. I felt comfortable for myself and my kids. The girls said the ladies that did their nails were polite and did a great job. A gentleman did my set and he took as long as he had to to make sure my nails looked perfect in shape. I was really happy with the results!! They also waxed my daughters and my eyebrows and they look fantastic!! Thank you for keeping us comfortable and safe and thank you again for doing such a great job on our nails.. we will definitely be back again!!

Omg it was horrible service, went to get a full set and left from there disappointed. Am with my 3 year old daughter because Ive been wanting to get my nails done for the longest and I never get a break so like I was in the mall, I went for it. Once I got there, there was a empty chair that they could of move it next to me so my daughter could sit down but no. And my daughter couldnt sit where the chair was because it was to close to another person. So the lady ask if my daughter could sit on the floor. I said hell no. So I sat my daughter on my lap. She had my phone which she was already watching and Ill be switching hands, But the lady said she cant do that either. I DO NOT recommend this place. Ive been to other places that treated me and my daughters better. Stupid me for trying to give this place a chance.

Ivy did a full set of pink UV gel nails. I wanted them tapered square w/a neutral color. This salon has a very large selection of colors & designs to choose from. They came out pretty good wish they were a bit longer like I wanted but my nails grow fast anyways. She was very kind & did a good job. Im definitely going to return to this nail salon. I also noticed they were safe & cautious with covid they use a plexiglass between them & the client.

I am so pleased with the way my nails came out! The design I wanted looked identical to the photo I had shown the woman who did my nails. She did such an amazing job with everything and took her time to make the design perfect. I definitely look forward to returning.

Don’t waste your time or money. My nails were poorly done, i got cut twice and the tech wiped the cut with her dirty hands! My nails are not shaped at all and each nail has a different thickness due to the sloppy acrylic application! This place is also wayyy overpriced! Never again!

Made an appt for no reason because still had to wait out in the hall for 35 min when I could have at least been soaking my feet half that time while I waited . Young man giving a pedi was in flip flops and no socks totally unprofessional. And my nails looked like who did it and why by the next day really disappointing.

I waited for my technician for twenty five minutes to get my nails done. Only for her to finish with the client before me to go and service someone else. When I saw that nonsense, I just got up and walked out. Went somewhere else to get my nails done, the cost was a little more expensive and it was a better job

I had my nails done and they came out beautiful. I will definitely be going there again. Very pleasant atmosphere and very talented. I show the technician what I wanted and they came out exactly like I wanted them too even better. Very happy customer

I just got my nails done here, I just got a simple gel manicure, Im not going to lie the nails look good. But they made most of my fingers bleed, she left polish all over my hand and she was trying to take it out with nail fail and hurt my skin! Then dry my hands using a used towel! And cut my nails with used stuff!!! That was disgusting! Never coming back to this place and might call the health department. Whoever is managing this place has to check that their workers are well trained.

I really thought this was the place for me but after 3 visits there was an issue each time 1st time pricing was not correct 2nd time nails filed wrong and now this time the very next day my nails chipped! I really really wanted this color so idk if its the type of polish or what caused it. I did call and tell them the person on the phone didnt seem to understand me and simply told me to come back and find the person who did my nails. It could just be the way I felt/feel about it but definitely not happy with the service this time around. Not sure if Ill be back.

This hands down is my favorite nail salon!The staff consists of a mixed age of nail techs. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing. The salon is really cute and clean. They are quick, friendly and bilingual. If there is any issue you may have, speak with the owner, shes the sweetest!

This place is great! Ive been looking for a nail salon I felt comfortable at. Diva Nails & Spa has a lot of nail techs.I immediately got sat as it was a little slow mid-afternoon. My nail tech was super nice and accommodating. Luckily, shes been in the business for a while and had experience with nail designs.Anyway, my nails turned out awesome and I loved this place!!... Ill come back for a pedicure soon!

There was no red nail polish in the whole salon ... they were out! health dept was there at same time. Diva Nails flunked! Very unsanitary place. Dont recommend.

I went here and the guy with the glasses did my nails horribly. Badly shaped, thick acrylic, and cut me with the drill. Within a week my nails were already lifting and by a few days they easily fell off damaging my real nails. I’m still trying to get my real nails to grow back healthy due to the damage from those acrylics. Great salon but I wouldn’t recommend that guy for anyone.

The next day my nail broke. Had a bubble on my nail the tech put a diamond on it. As soon as I left diamonds was coming off. They are just straight trash. Nails wasn’t done the way I wanted.

I was there the Sunday, I was trying to get a basic mani and pedi.. I barely go to the salon, because I am busy with kids and working long hours. I left there almost in tears, because she did my nails and toes, which looked awesome but when she told me get them dried for 10 mins..i showed her that it wasnt ready, she still shood me away and turned off the fans...so all my finger nails that were painted were ruined and also my feet(since i had crocs, some got smushed) I was crying all the way home, because ONE DAY I wanted to pamper myself...but couldnt. Very disappointed in the way she didnt care and wanting me to leave. I left no tip due to that.. also I did try calling the store, and no one picked up.

I just moved to the area and I have been to many nail places and this by far is my favorite. They shaped my nails the right way. Nails last long and they have tons of nail polish colors unlike other places I have visited. Very talented nail techs and very multi-cultural. Tons of nail techs so if you walk in the wait is not too bad.

Hands down my favorite nail place in Meriden. Whenever I try another nail place, I always find myself wishing I just went to Diva Nails & Spa.The place is spacious and clean and I rarely have to wait. The staff is very friendly and I always get great service and a great manicure and pedicure. I love their pedicure chairs, they are always clean and the massagers work great.I love the consistent service and experience I get here.

I loved the ambience of the business. The nail technicians were gentle, had great attention to detail, and took their time. I appreciated how patient they were and felt like they paid more attention to quality over quantity. I will definitely visit this business again if Im ever in the area!

I went in earlier today for the first time & had a great, relaxing experience. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and helped right away. I got my old set of acrylics removed and then did gel on my nails. The guy that did my nails was polite, gentle on my nails and took his time. They turned out beautiful. I will be coming back, I overall enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Affordable prices, as well thats always a plus!

Not adhering to Covid distancing. Was seated within 3 feet of two other people. Tools werent sanitized. My manicurist had dirty fingernails. Really awful manicure.

This place is really good, the attention is amazing I will definitely come back again. My acrylics are perfect and painted wonderfully! They were so nice and well priced! The best customer service ever! Very dedicated and nice staff. I will be back in the summer to vacation a little more and I definitely will go back there again!

My visit with Ni was outstanding she is on a scale of 1 to 10 shes a 15 all day!!!. Very satisfied with my pedicure! This was my first time at Diva Nails & Spa and Im definitely coming back again! They take their time with cleaning and painting. I showed my tech the design that I had seen on Pinterest and she did it way better than the picture I had shown. I am recommending this place to all my friends!

Ive seen great reviews for the nail shop and on a whim called to make an appointment. They were able to accommodate me and a friend 30 mins after opening on a Thursday.We were greeted promptly, and given water and a relaxing station. The technician was so polite and cute and did a great job with my gel/shellac mani. At the end they do a little oil hand and arm massage which was awesome.I highly recommend them. Loved it!

Awesome place to go and relax and get your nails done with good pricing. Place is well decorated and it has a good ambiance. The owner is the sweetest lady she really does try to satisfy her customers and make them feel comfortable. As for the nails technicians they work really well and are very clean, which is a big plus for me. I have been coming here for about a year already and have no complaints.

Today I received the best manicure that I have ever had by the owner of Diva Nails & Spa. She removed my old gel color and added a new red coat. She took her time and was very thorough. The owner was super sweet and I enjoyed talking with her while she completed the manicure. I will definitely come back!

I used to love coming here. But the last few times I went, the nails look horrible when I get them on and then they just pop off within a week. There’s only two people in the place who know how to do nails and they’re always booked because they’re actually great. The other people in the salon put in now effort. I didn’t want gel one time and she messed up all of nails because of it.

Twenty something years of manicures, acrylics, gels, powders, all shapes and lengths... I have NEVER had such a horrific service! First visit, for dipping powder, a woman actually does a nice job prepping my nails only to leave me for 10 minutes as I watch them searching for something, the dipping powder adhesive! She returns with a hardened unusable bottle and apologizes, asking if I’d like gel powder (obviously I didn’t have a choice as my nails were prepped). They came out a bit uneven and bumpy but not too visible with the sheer pink polish. Another woman did my pedicure, filing my nails to thin and uneven. I even paid extra for gel polish which did NOT last. $90 plus a $10 tip to each tech. Second visit, the woman who did my first manicure was unavailable, a man filled my nails, fixing two that had broken. Shoddy to say the least, he left my nails thin, lumpy and narrow. In fact polish chipped off one thumb and I returned the next day to have it fixed, he hears while working with another customer and says “we don’t fix nails”. Another woman chimes in asking “what color”, I don’t know I pointed to a color on his ring and that was that. Annoyed, she asks the owner who can barely take the time to look up, they figure it out and she has me sit. She files and globs polish on the corner and I leave. The entire corner breaks off that night. LAST visit, I go for a “fill”. The woman filed my nails so aggressively she burned me several times. She then filed the sides of my nails so far in and so short she had to use clippers to cut pieces of my own nail that no longer was attached to the side. I told her politely that she was hiking too much on the sides. Even a second time, telling her she should not have filed the sides too much. I asked her to round them as there was no other option at that point. She rushed trying to round nails that now had sides down to the quick. I have NEVER seen nails look like this nor feel like this, MY FINGERS HURT!!! It looks like I had my nails done by a kindergartner!! She quickly disappeared after handing the receptionist my slip and files. I advised her to throw the files away as I wouldn’t be returning. I also asked if the “nail tech” had ever actually done nails before. Of course, she said yes however, was all too quick to know I wouldn’t be tipping as she said “no tip” and handed me my receipt to sign. As a business owner and manager, it takes a lot for me to review anyone on these platforms however, this place should be shut down for sanitizing and training.

The place is pretty clean, I went twice for a full set. My techs very sweet. She cares about her work and asks whether you like the length of your nails or if youre okay with it or not. I noticed its better during the weekday because the team is definitely not gassed out like they are in the weekend. Highly recommended to get an appointment during the weekday.

I have been coming to diva nails for several years now. Ni usually does my nails, but I have had Irvin, Tina, and Kim as well. My nails always look amazing,with unique designs. I have had strangers stop to compliment me. I find all areas of the shop neat, clean and organized with the most updated and modern look. The prices are great for the service and end product. I highly recommend diva nails!!

I love this place! I started coming here a few months back because the service is amazing. Their gel manicures actually last a month or more. The interior of the salon is relaxing and chic. I got a gel manicure last Friday and came back today to get three nails fixed (they started to chip because my actual nail was broken from a prior incident).

This is the first nail salon Ive been to with a rewards/points program. Theyre very good at what they did. & didnt over file my nails, which is painful and happens at anywhere else. It is always impeccably clean! I see why their clients always return. Five stars for their nails.

1 Star for effort. Every time I came here employees looked at the door like they needed to hurry up. They would rush it and do it as quick as possible and sometimes messed up! I used to love this place but ever since 2017, they have messed up making me start going to tiara nails and spa on 512 W Main Street in Meriden Connecticut. Come to tiara instead of here. It is a much better use of your money

Ive been to her place every month for the past 2 years! I love her work, I wont find any better place to do my nails. I usually get acrylic extensions/gel on my finger nails. They last so long (last time it lasted for 6 weeks and it was still good condition but I had to go cuz nail was too long). She always puts up with me even though I am so picky, she tries her best to accommodate my request. I am always happy with the result! Easy to make appointment, fast response, the owner is so friendly. Cheaper and better than any other places in Meriden.

This is a late review...but better late than never. I went to in efforts to replace my current nail salon of 4 years. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service. Its always a challenge to try a new location after going to another location for so long. she was very attentive to my needs down to the nail shape and she even took the time to chat a little. I went on a Saturday which is a busy day but I was in and out within an hour. I think Ive found my new nail salon! I will certainly be back in 2 weeks!

7/2019Older lady kept trying to upsale my pedicure. Kept lowering the price of the upgrade. Pedicure was rushed. Kept saying this upgrade will help my feet. She didnt massage my feet. Dont know what I paid extra for!I was finished 10 minutes before the lady sitting next to me and she was there well before I was.There was polish all over my cuticles.Annoying to hear them speak in their native language. Thats what I listened to during my pedicure.

Pedicure was on point today! Best massage ever! Lady who did my sns mani did a great job as well! The color selection is great and it is super clean and nice. Highly recommend as a great nail salon in the Meriden neighborhood!

The people were very nice. The salon is generally clean. I had a pedicure and it was okay. It wasnt the best, but also not the worst. Very quickly done and rushed. Even though there wasnt anyone else waiting. I brought my 4yr old daughter with me for a pedicure and they had kiddie chairs which was nice. I wish the pedicure was a little better, because I wouldve gone back. I think I will keep looking for a place where they spend more than 15mins on a pedicure! The lady spent more time on my 4 yr old then my lady spent with me!!!

I called prior to find out pricing and went over. I came in told the lady I wanted the regular acrylic she said it was $25 again. I waited 30 mins to get seated. The guy pointed me to a table where they had nails painted for display and said pick a color. I picked a color and was seated. Everything went well until I saw him writing $25+$35+$35=$95. I told him I asked for regular nail! why So much? he told me, the color I picked was gel. -.- if they knew I wanted regular why did he take me to a table where they have only gel nail polish?! And besides the lady had told me over the phone that if I wanted gel it would cost 8 dollars more. So where did that extra calculation of money come from?! I told him take the Polish off this isnt what I asked for. He stated it took him long to do it and etc to try to convince me to pay. the Chinese lady next to him said its an extra $15 to take off. At that point I knew I was being ripped off. The customer next to me was kind enough to tell them charge her the$25 and Ill pay the difference. I was so thankful and upset. I dont even think she was aware of the amount they was asking for. My first and last time coming here.

I live this salon. You can have a quick and go service, or the full spa experience. Ive been a customer for two years! Their service and quality of work is consistently the best.

The service was terrible, my nails came out crooked. They didn’t clean my cuticles well, very pricey for the terrible service that they gave. Also while I was getting my nails done, there was a lady that came in &’ asked for something to be done. Then they all started talking about her in there language. The lady that did my nails didn’t take her time &’ rushed. Only reason why I gave them one star, is so i can make the review, but they truly deserve no stars.

Asked for a full set with white gel color nothing special and my nails came out awful - there were gaps near my cuticle as if my nails were done a week ago and paint was thick and runny. I decided to go back to have them fixed since I paid almost $50 and the staff didn’t want to be bothered. When they were re-done by the manager they looked even worse. You get what you pay for - go somewhere else.

I’ve gone there a few times and have given them many chances even after not being satisfied with the outcome but yesterday was the final strike! The Spanish lady they had at the front desk was beyond rude and unwelcoming, not professional whatsoever and completely out of line when dealing with customers. Then the lady who did my nails filed my nails down so thin my nail is bleeding under the nail bed and my nails bend at the touch of any object! They are paper thin! I am not exaggerating! My nails feel so flimsy and I’m upset because I never use acrylic so they ruined my natural nail and now I must wait for them to grow back naturally which is such a long process.

Tina and her husband do great work. They are the only people I go to when I get my nails done. This establishment is very clean and they always make sure to use new utensils on every customer. I would highly recommend Diva Nails to everyone!

I went for a full set with gel, they only lasted 5 days until 3 of my nails fell off. Also very horrible service and instead of focusing on their job, they keep chatting in their language and rushing the job and messing up. I do not recommend this place for anyone.

I only gave this place a star in order to even leave a review... I came in for a gel refill... Shouldve been simple enough but It was NOT! I asked to keep my length and she filed one hand down so much it doesnt even look like I have nails and had I not spoken up she would have left my other hand noticeably longer. I had to ask her to fix slanted nails.. Her polish job was horrible! My nails are darker on some spots than others..The tips werent covered right and she had so much gel polish on my skin that she cut me trying to remove it with the cuticle cutter.. After multiple attempts of giving her the opportunity to fix the things I wasnt satisfied with I realized she just couldnt because she was obviously unskilled at her job.. She couldnt even shape my nails square-round which is the most basic nail shape 😐

The salon is gorgeous and is quite efficiently run by the manager and owner. Lots of colors to choose from in gel, SNS and regular polish. I will be driving to here now for my nails.

My nails looked absolutely awful. They were rushed because they were closing. I was NOT happy at all. Ive online had them for 1 week and they are lifting already.

NEVER AGAIN will I make a last minute trip to this unprofessional place of business. FIRST let me start off by saying I love ad being rushed the min I got in. Secondly, he told me to get the gel on my toes as well because they were rushing. I first said no thanks then I gave in. As I began to pay my total came out to 51$! All that I got done was a manicure with gel polish and gel polish on toes. Now he explained that it was 23$ for my toes alone when I all I got was gel polish!! Anyway my advice to anyone is to not spend your money bc you WILL get ripped off.

*zero star* Their customer service sucks. My cousin and I had the worst experience with the lady that sits in the right-end side. We went back the next day to talk to the owner/manager and she was on her phone the whole time we were explaining our situation. These people don’t care about their customers! Never going back.!!

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. When I first started going there, things were great but they progressively got worse and worse. Two times they did not give me back my credit card. Today was the last time I ever step foot in that place. Mind you, I drive all the way from Waterbury because they WERE that good. Not anymore. The lady made my toes and fingers bleed. Nothing was sterile. They charged me $1 for a nail file and buffer that I have to bring back every time I go. I threw it out. I’ll never go back there again. The polish is uneven and not painted up to the cuticle. There are bare spots on my nails and toes where the polish was not painted on evenly. I never received a foot or a hand massage. They charged me $70! She rushed so much that she kept nicking my skin on the sides of my nails with the drill. Horrible horrible place. It’s such a shame because they started out so good, only to downward spiral and lose my business for good. Beautiful Nail in Stratford, CT is where it’s at! I’m willing to drive all the way there from Waterbury to get my nails done right. Do not go here if you can’t handle disappointment and pain because that is all you will get.

I got a pedicure here and they made me take off my flip flops when I only had regular polish, my toes were not dry and I wore sneakers so they messed up.. and caught a terrible attitude when I told them they needed to be redone.
