Love it, my nails look great atmosphere was nice

I will give this place minus one stars. I never had such a horrible experience in doing my Moms nail. I am never going to this place again!!! She came in hoping that this place would finally replicate the nails that she always wanted. The owner attended her and she did a very mediocre job. She used products that were very cheap and she even hurt her nails to the point of bleeding. Also, the owner was not able to replicate the art of the photo, imagine for the other employees. Plus, when I told her (because at this point my mother was in tears already and they did not even appreciated that fact) that she did not liked the nails that she did, she grew angry instead of professionally ask why. They charged her a full set for 70 dollars plus tax for a nails that she even did not like at all. Do not go to this place, you will definetely waste your time and money. I do not recommended at all.

I went and got a gel polish pedicure on Saturday. By Tuesday the polish had came off 3 of my toes. Reason why because the woman did not put a base coat or top coat.

They did my manicure in a timely manner all while making sure my feet feel refreshed and beautiful! My nails are perfect. Easy 5 stars for me! I plan to return

I even mentioned that it was the best Id received as I do this often. I called and made an appointment while I was in my car on my way there. Theyre amazing attentive to me. & spent a long time on making sure my cuticles and the polish were perfect. The salon is maintained clean as well! Im for sure coming back!!

They greeted us with a Warm welcome for a walk in! Friendly workers and clean atmosphere. We came in at a busy time and they accommodated us all. They have a wide selection of gel polishes, chrome, cats eye, etc! Thank you!

Came here over four weeks ago for a pedicure, and there is still not a single chip in the polish. They ARE warm and loving. The salon was modern and trendy, and most importantly clean. Will definitely go back for my next pedicure in two weeks.

Don’t even bother coming here. They charged me $50 dollars for a fill and give me some wack design that I kept telling the lady I did not want. Now it’s been 6 days and the GEL polish on my right thumb has completely peeled off, and my middle right finger nail has completely fallen off, and my right ring finger nail is split down the middle. I will be coming back for a refund.

The service is always consistent the quality is top notch in the Meriden area. It was nice to be able have a conversation with them. Great service and attention to detail. So far, so good. The quality of their work is great. Im very impressed with the result. Will be coming back. & I am SO satisfied with my services.

A friend recommended this place to me a while ago and I had the opportunity to go over the weekend. They did an amazing job and were very attentive to detail on my nails. Price is similar to other nail salons but the quality surpasses the rest! I look forward to coming back and bringing all my friends because the service is incredible here!

Awful service, if I could gone them 0 starts I would. My friends and I went here to get full sets of acrylics which are listed on the signs out front for $25, the lady shapes my friends nails and then told her that shaping her nails is an extra $5. We ended up paying for the $30 nails each but it was not worth it, nails are uneven and missing acrylic in spots. The nails also have air pockets in them which goes to show how bad the painting skills of the workers are. The whole time we got our nails done we were told the gel polish “is better for ya nails” and how it’s “better quality”. We will never return here and I would advise you to not come here . We also noticed that the tools are not always sanitized between costumers which could give people a fungus.

I had my fill done there and 3 hours later the gel polish lifted. I went back the next day and she fixed then . Now 3 days later 4 nails with chipped gel n acrylic!!!! I will NEVER go back!!!! Not even if its free!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I like this place because it’s in a convenient location. All the staffs were personable and very friendly. My hand still feels soft after the pedi she gave me 5 days ago, which usually doesnt happen. No doubt about them, easily 5 stars.

The staff is very courteous and friendly. This made me feel better since I have been to so many places. Will be coming back to this place for a dipping powder done. Just LOVE this place.

Terrible nail service. First time going there and I went to get pedi, mani, and eyebrows. While waiting to get my pedi multiple customers coming back for a broken nail or nail polish not being dry. I should’ve known them to run. My nail polish on my feet smudged by the time I got home. Women who did my eyebrows took half of it off and claimed that I had no hair it wasn’t her. Terrible. Never going back.

Pedicure was great came in around 6pm, was quiet and relaxing good experience.

This place was so dirty, they dont sanitize their tools after each customer, they were filthy. Actually it looks like they haven’t sanitized or washed their tools ever! She pressured me into getting a full set and gel and kept telling me she would give me $5 off. I only needed tips for half of my nails and I was charged $60. She never gave me the $5 off and played dumb when I confronted her. I will never go back and I hope nobody does until they clean that place up a lot!

Came in at 7:15 pm no one there, felt rushed and pushed . My pedicure took exactly 14 minutes i timed her and 15 min on my manicure. Ontop of all this it looks like a 3 year old painted my nails . I will never return to this place !

This was my first time coming to this nail salon. Staff made my nails very accurate and beautiful the way I wanted. They are very professional and friendly. In summary, Im so pleased with everything!

I came here with my sister and her best friend for us all to get our nails done for my sisters wedding in Meriden. I was satisfied at the end result and this is definitely my go to spot.

Ive came to this place before and the guy was amazing. Today I go in for 2 acrylic full sets and ended coming out with a gel set because the lady didnt wanna do the acrylic. My daughter almost came out with dipping powder set. We both didnt want these but ok fine. I was also charged extra for my daughter to have short nails. I told them the length she wanted was fine and they disagreed and went behind my back, cut them mad short and still charged me extra. My nails look horrible, bulky and was cut a few times... 2 of my nails are already popping off and I just got them done not even 2 hours ago

I had been going to Magic Nails for years and never a problem. This has been the only salon I have used. However, I started to notice the nail dryers were not being wiped between people. Also the files were being used without being sanitized. Unfortunately, I know have fungus on my index finger. I write this review to warn the salon that customers are getting infections and fungus from unclean practices. So disappointed.

This place was absolutely DISGUSTING the OLD LADY asked me how long I wanted I told her really short and she asked me if that was ok and I said shorter and she gave me a dirty look and didn’t change them. She got gel polish all over my thumb and was extremely rude. don’t go here I repeat!!! DO NOT EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER GO HERE!!!

This was the worst acrylic fill and polish I’ve ever had. The person that did my nails seemed to be rushing. The polish didn’t cover the whole nail. When she put the clear polish on she didn’t go over the full nail. One swipe of the brush was it. It wasn’t worth the money. The price listed On the board for an acrylic fill says $15.00, I was charged $18. Never again.

I went to this salon 4 days ago to get a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure seems to be rushed and the lady was trying to get me to add another service onto the pedicure, I guess an upgrade. Then when she was doing my nails she kept trying to get me to do more expensive services like the gel dip or acrylic. I don’t like feeling like they only want my money and that’s exactly how I felt. She didn’t try to engage in conversation other than like I said, to get more money out of me. I didn’t want her to cut my nails so she filed them down so much, they looked like they were cut. The lady next to me getting her nails done, the person doing her nails came across as yelling at her because she wasn’t understanding her. My nails are already chipping and started 3 days after they were done and I have polish on my cuticle. Will not be returning here.

Had a nice time and got amazing pedi

Brought my mom to the mall for an early Christmas gift, the nail place by the food court was so busy that we decided to check out Magic Nails instead. We both wanted to get acrylics- full sets. Charged 5$ extra to shape our nails, 5$ extra because they were “long” even though neither of those are stated on their price list. Started applying a special acrylic for an extra 10$ but didn’t tell us that until she did 2 of my nails with it. And then kept pushing for gel polish for an extra 10$ and ended up putting a gel top coat on anyway saying “it look better”. Then trying to charge us when we said no! Almost all of my nails have gunk underneath and are already starting to lift. The lady ripped up my cuticles with the dremel and left them exposed and bleeding on two fingers. Almost every one of my moms fingers has exposed nail in the corner where they didn’t cover it all the way with the acrylic. And whenever we would question something they would yell to each other and no one would speak English back to us. Completely rude and thoughtless staff that was clearly focused on getting any extra dollar they could. Manager said the only way to fix my moms would be to remove them and have someone redo the nails. Even after having them touched up by the manager they are still missing acrylic in places and completely uneven and misshaped. I wish I could have given 0 stars.

Worst quality nails I’ve ever had in my life !!! Was told I should upgrade to gel because they’re so much better quality yet they popped off within three days. my friend also got her nails done and they all popped up within days this is never happened in 20 years of getting acrylics went back to the salon and spoke to the owner Ken who could’ve cared less and told me it was my fault and I should pay to have my nails done again

I asked for a fill and they replaced 5 nails just because I had some lifting. I am nail technicians this scheme is to make more money.. if you get fills regularly you never need to replace with a new set or need tips. I didnt have time to do my own nails so went here. Never will go back. The woman gave me the file at the end because i kept asking to fix the shapes and they were so thick. $53 for a gel fill that i ended up fixing at the end.

This was my first but not last visit here. I have to say Im pleased with how quick my nail tech did a full set of acrylic cofin shaped very nicely but her painting skills sucked. I got gel polish and it was so thinly applied, bumpy and uneven that by the end of the day the gel polish started pealing off the acrylic. I ended up takeing off the gel polish that night and repainting them myself. Other then a bad paint job the employees where very polite the prices are far lots of variety of colors, cozy comfortable enviorment, they offer waxing,eye lash extencions, pedicures, and other services.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went in last night to have my acrylics taken off and the girl that did them literally ripped them off and ruined my nails. You are supposed to soak them then file them off. She clipped them and used an acrylic tip to pry them off. I was bleeding and in pain.

Why do the nail ladies at the mall always want to charge you extra for doing your nails 5 more dollars for this 3 more dollars for that -.- after i told them i have a certain amount of money to spend they still try to charge me more -.- and after all that the nails still come out mishapened

This place is so bad I went here with friends to get my nails done and didn’t know how much the acrylic nails were so I looked at the sign and it said $25 for a whole set didn’t say anything else except if u wanted gel polish it’s an additional $10 however we didn’t want gel polish their for it would only cost $25 plus tax however we wanted coffin nails and nowhere in the whole store did it say that they were extra they told us after we had gotten them done and didn’t have the money so we had to call someone this is so rude and I will never come here again my nails also looked like a 2 yo painted them so they weren’t even good quality anyways.

It says 25$ for acrylics so when I was almost done they told me i needed 30$ because it’s 5$ more for coffin shaped and I only had 25 because that’s what it said and no where in the store said 5 more dollars for coffin shaped so we told one of the guys and he said there is no where in the store where it said that you should just know.
