The lady did my manicure while on the phone, and at one point was not even holding onto my hand at all. I was just sticking my index finger out and she was rubbing a nail file on the end of it. Definitely a bizarre experience. I got a pedicure too and she left big sharp peaks in the corners of all my nails. I literally could have done a nicer job myself.

Because of the starts, I was excited to visit! A little bummed, nail tech was very nice but it wasn’t the cleanest facility and she cut my nails before she asked the length. I do not plan on returning.

My go-to! Great service, super professional, beautiful work, gel nails and gel manicure lasted longer than any other time Ive ever gotten them done. Pedicure massage is perfect. Prices are super normal. Must make appointment!

I came hear from Florida in September. I been looking for a nail place to call my nail home and this place is it I look at all the reviews was great I called and made an appointment and the service was even great never been to a nail place that massages you while u get ur nails done at no charge it’s great all the tools they use are NEW FOR EVERY CUSTOMER .Karen is great and the other workers are as well . GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND I WILL BE RETURNING . And I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON .

Love this salon, its very clean. I got a gel manicure, and was given a back massage, hand to arm massage. Also my hands were dipped in wax, my hands feel so smooth and my nails look great. The woman who did my nails was amazing, her name was Helen. I will be going to Sun Nails from now on. I will be recommending this salon to everyone I know!! Thank you Sun Nails, and thank you Helen.

I went in for a pedicure, the place was very clean and everything but the chairs had plastic on them, they check every customers temperature before they let them in, they had everyone who came in sanitiz their hands before they picked out a color, they staff was very nice, the over all experience was amazing and I may go back to get my hands done

I went to get a full set and Karen did an excellent job. The salon is immaculately clean. Everyone who works there is very nice. Karen was very thorough and made my nails look beautiful. I was very happy with the service and will return.

Clean, professional and courteous describes Sun Nails perfectly! The pricing and service details were clearly explained upfront. I requested a pedicure and manicure. My partner had the same services with the addition of an eyebrow wax and gel polish removal. We both received complimentary shoulder massages during the manicures. Our technicians were Sunny and Helen. We were extremely pleased with our experience and plan to visit this nail salon monthly. You should too!

They give great pedicures. I love the pedicure menu. It has many options for spa treatments and theyre all great so far.

This is my go-to nail salon and I cant wait to get back there after this social distancing thing is over. They are all so friendly and make an effort to know and remember your name. It is the cleanliest nail salon I have been to. All the nail artists do an amazing job and I am always pleased. They go the extra mile to make your experience wonderful. I highly recommend them!

The salon is immaculate! They require a temperature check and hand sanitizer (which they provide) before entering. Everyone is polite and they do a beautiful job. Very happy I found Sun Nails!

Some of the reviews on here are misleading. I have not had a fall off or anything I’m week 3 and my nails are fine. Place is clean, very patient and accommodating. They also push your cuticles back before refilling them. A lot of places do not do that. It’s pricey 70$ for UV full set and 45$ for a fill. They only do UV no acrylic. I haven’t had a problem there whatsoever.

First of all my sister and I went to do our nails and we had call beforehand to make the appointment so everything was cool but when I called I asked for a full set and they said they didn’t do acrylic only gel & that’s fine too but then we arrive and the lady acts likeI didn’t tell her on the phone what I wanted still I need them done so I just sit there and begin... as they begin I noticed that my nails are coming out slanted and side ways, they didn’t listen to anything I said, they decided the length and shape for me it was a terrible experience and I will never be coming back again. Plus $70 for gell? If they were to do it right then I would be happy spending the amount but this? No.

Clean place & the staff there very friendly little pricey but thats ok our nails deserve to get pampered after a hard work!!

I have tried to find a clean, reasonably priced, great service salon for years now. I moved and couldn’t.... but now I finally have! It’s 30 minutes from my house, and well worth the drive. They actually spend time and their energy to make your experience enjoyable. Pedicures are my favorite... and they actually massage and make it worth your time. I can not suggest enough to take the time to come here. You don’t regret it!

Went to Sun Nails for the first time today and will never go anywhere else. Best fill I have ever gotten. Helen did mine, took her time and paid attention to detail, was very sweet and professional. The place was super clean which is a must for me. I highly recommend this salon.

My fiance has had mixed results from Sun Nails. Depending on who does her nails, it can last anywhere from a couple of days to 3 weeks. Lately, however, theyve been closer to lasting a few days at best before chipping. Weve had to go back to get them fixed because they should last at least a week (in our humble opinion). Its a shame because she used to love this place and had great results, which is why wed make the half-hour drive! After this last time of them chipping after a few days, well be going elsewhere.

I love this place! They take their time and do a great pedicure and they are all so friendly! I love how they give you a massage while your drying your toes!

Ive been going there for a few months now for gel manicures. Im usually very pleased. Past 2 times i was a little disappointed. First time i felt they rushed through my daughter and my manicure . Recently i just went and he didnt take off all of my polish from previous so now i have pink showing through my purple.

I had been looking for a place that could compare to the original nail salon in Rhode island that I started getting my manicures done with shellac and gel nail polish. To no avail had I found anywhere in CT that was up to snuff. I recently relocated and decided to pop in to Sun Nails, I was apprehensive as I had recently had a very disappointing experience with a place in New Haven called family nails on Dixwell ave in Hamden, CT. I walked into Sun Nails which displayed a sign (under new management) after a few questions to staff, I decided to get my nails done. Not only was I not disappointed but I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied beyond my belief! The gel manicure was impeccable and for the price I received more than expected! Manicure with gel polish, paraffin dip, shoulder massage and hand and forearm massage. I felt refreshed and renewed ! This is my new mail salon home!

Karen was very rude and disrespectful paid 90 dollars to get my nails done to only have them break one at a time in 3 days days!!!!! Never again worst place ever I dont recommend it to anyone!!!!!

Beautiful nails worth the price!

I got my nails done 2 days before Christmas and on Christmas was the start of when my nails started to fall off. I broke 1 nail open wrapping paper on Christmas and went and got it fixed for free. little did I know that a few days later I would lose 1 everyday leading up to new years. whats upsetting is that thwy came off way to easy and for reasons like taking my gloves off or taking my shirt off. never had I had this happen to me ever. whats even worse is I paid over $70 for this full gel set and if it wasnt for me having nail glue i wouldnt have any nails but pinky nails!! I wont be going back again because if you want to throw ur money away thats fine. I wasnt even going to try to have them fix all my nails again because they will just come off in a week again. usually my nails last 3 to 4 weeks and they didnt even last 1 week so I wont be wasting my money there anymore.

Disappointed. Spent $30 for gel polish for it to chip severely after one day. Went back, they re-did the nails that were chipped, and a couple days later... 3 more are chipping.

Over priced by at least $20. Theyre clean but the pricing is way off and theyre not as attentive and friendly as they should be.

Amazing every time I go!

I was not very happy with this place. My lady was really rough and I wasnt very happy with the results. I travel for work, so I sometimes get my nails done in the city that Im in for the week. I rely on reviews to make my choice on where to go. I would not go back to this salon.
