Ive been coming here for years and they always do the best pedicures Ive ever had! They are pretty hopping during these warmer months so there is going to be a bit of a wait, but I waited only about 30 mins. After I was seated she took her time and care will shaping and painting my nails. Ive been admiring them all day!

I have just had a mimi-pedicure and am very happy with the service! Great place, very reasonable charges, and I will be back!

Dishonest. If I can get one person to choose a different salon with this review it will have served its purpose! I scheduled my appointment a week in advance. I arrived on time for my 6 p.m. appointment and was told that the wait time would exceed the time they would be open which is 7 p.m. I insisted that they keep their promise of my appointment because I was going out of town the next morning and needed a fill and gel polish. They stated they had regulars coming in and not sure if I would get my nails done. Said I was not leaving because I scheduled an appointment and it was to late to find another salon on short notice. At 7:15 they brought me back to remove my gel polish from a full set I had done 3 weeks prior. About 20 mins later that was removed and another lady was now ready to polish. She proceeded to tell me that my fill and gel polish would cost me $70 for my length. My full set of acrylics only cost me $50. How do you justify this costing that much more for a fill and polish change??? They were very rude and tried to charge me double for a service that else where would have charged me around $35-40. I refused to accept such a ridiculous over charge and was told I owed them $10 for the removal of my polish. I was able to get my nails done the next morning at 9:30 before my trip since they were left with just my glued tips. They knew exactly how to screw me over because I waited for my turn. I spent 2.5 hours there to walk out frustrated and disappointed that a business could be so dishonest and unaccommodating. What a horrible experience and a waste of my time. Please take your business elsewhere!!!!!

My appointment was at 2:30, waited 35 minutes to be seen. My nails already look like they need filled for a full set that was almost $50. My nails are also not even and extremely crooked. I do not recommend this place.

We had a ruthless person attending my wifeReally not a good place to do your nails if you want to feel valued as Customer, this person daid things are not perfect and you will never happy with the result, all this because she glued the nails not aligned with the finger and then she was doing the cutting and they were not straigth, we ended u9 removing everything and leaving to not comebackIts a shame this place was used to be attended by very kind even the owner was there now this person attending do not appreciate the bussiness that is goven to them by Customers

I’m not sure why there are so many one stars on the acrylic nails I went there today and they’re honestly better than most places I think my nails look good they didn’t exactly do the right shape I said but it’s close enough I’m satisfied I would recommend. I guess this place is not for Karen’s because I think they were the ones that left the one star.

The woman who did my nails was not friendly. She didn’t listen to what I wanted and the quality is awful. My nails are all crooked. There are large areas where there is no polish and when I left the salon it looked like I already needed a fill. I asked for coffin shaped and I have no idea what the shape is I actually got. Looks like maybe a coffin on one side and the other is straight. The gel polish is dingy and there are air bubbles at the surface. I will never be back.

💅🏾Hein was amazing with my manicure and pedicure. He never hurt me and was very funny and kind. This was the first time my husband had a pedicure and he enjoyed the experience as well with the lovelylady who helped him out. They had a nice scrub and a hot towel at the end of it. My hubby said his feet feel so soft lol. Pretty pedicure chairs with a nice massage and a quiet shop and professional atmosphere. Congratulations on your future wedding as well Hein!🥳 The only thing that has me not coming back there now is they over charged us 20.00.

Waiting for 40 minutes after I had already book an appointment a week ahead. Not one word except it will be a few more minutes. Why even make an appointment? And then make me wait for 40 min without an apology or anything.

Went in with my mom and aunt for pedicures and manicures. My aunt paid for a deluxe pedicure and was done within 10 minutes and didn’t get any lotion or her feet or legs massaged (not sure what the difference is for the deluxe then? Every pedicure I’ve EVER gotten included a foot and leg massage with lotion applied). Then, my mom got gel polish on her nails and within two hours it was already peeling off BOTH hands without her doing anything to cause it. I called and they told me they would only credit me back $15 even though we paid over $200. NEVER GO HERE.

I took my sister here as a birthday present and she absolutely loved it. She instructed me to give that Excel Nails place a 5 star review because they were super duper friendly and this is, like, the best my nails have looked in a really long time. She has since proclaimed that shes planning on going back with some friends and that she hopes she can talk to Deena (who is apparently her favorite worker at the salon) again.

Great manicures & fill in with gel nail polish. Acrylic nails look almost natural. Not thick & bulky like other nail salons.

Clean, friendly place! They did a wonderful job on my nails! Very happy with their quality of work and service. I did not have an appointment and they were able to accommodate me within 10 min. It gets busy so in the future, call ahead to see the wait time.

I have been going to Excel Nails since it opened, and used some of the technicians at another shop before that. They do a great job, their prices are very reasonable and the shop is very clean. You always get a friendly greeting when you arrive. I have recommended them to many friends and relatives and they are all repeat customers. I get comments on my nails all the time. If you are looking for a good nail salon give them a try!

My sister said its the best nail salon in Mentor. Friendly, detailed oriented technicians. Book your appointment with Christine if you have a choice. Clean atmosphere with TV and magazines to keep you entertain while you wait. They also right next to an Italian Bistro so pamper yourself and then treat yourself to a nice lunch. Theyre not inside Kmart anymore.

FAVORITE nail place, just had to leave a review to show how much I love it here! I was kind of shocked to see a lot of 1 star reviews but i realized they seem to be from one lady who had a bad experience and asked her friends to poorly review the place without even going there. Really a shame because this is my go to nail place and everyone there has always been super nice and friendly to me! My nails always look amazing after I get them done, and look good for a while after. The prices here are amazing compared to other salons. Hands down the best salon in the area.

The people are very nice but the last 3 times I’ve been in, my nails have been so uneven and sloppy. Will not be back again. This place should not charge the same as other places. I wouldnt pay $10 for what I got. AWFUL!UPDATE: Its been 4 days and my gel has almost completely peeled off on its own. This has never happened.

This is my favorite place to get my nails done! All of the employees are so welcoming and friendly, and my nails always look great after they are done, and they last for a while too! I love it here, and I highly recommend this salon!

Just left the salon, got a full set in a “coffin” shape, if you could even call it that. The tech that did my nails was rude when I asked her to fix nails, and after “fixing” them multiple times my nails still look horrible. Nails are not even, the same shape, or the same size. Gel polish was put on with no care and every nail differs. I would NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone looking for quality nails. Spent 65$ on this set and wouldn’t have even paid 20$ if I knew it would like this.

I absolutely love getting my nails done here and they never seem to disappoint me :) Whenever I get my nails done, they last long and look beautiful. I highly recommend Excel Nails and will be sure to tell my friends about their wonderful service!

My granddaughter had a very bad experience. She went in for a gel fill and ask several times to have the tech to correct them. She had to leave paid 60.00 for a really bad job. I am contacting the better business bureau. Someone needs to check this place out. We as consumers should not have to pay for a service that is NOT done the way we have asked someone to do it. If we accept this no one is ever held accountable. If the owner would have called and redone the fill and tried to make things right that would be a different story. Very sad people don’t take care of people anymore!!!

My puppy jumped on my foot when I got home and smudged my nail..went back into the salon and they fixed it right away and were so nice about it! Provided great service for reasonable price!

People are nice, prices are reasonable and they clearly work to get you in as fast as possible even when you didnt call ahead. They do good work and are personable.There is another review posted with a different story on this salon and what I can tell you based on those who witnessed the event, this other individual was clearly WAY out of line, rude and inconsiderate. And when the salon tried to make it right she just got even more mad. People make mistakes but if you dont let them try to fix it and then hide behind your keyboard to weaponize your comment, then you cant really expect for your situation to get managed. Its a shame she was unhappy and wasnt able to get the resolution she was looking for. Good luck to her.

I gave this salon a second shot after I wasn’t happy the first time and I won’t be coming back. Yes, they’re detailed orientated but I don’t think they care about what you want. I’m flat out showing a picture and describing what I want and I can’t get a straight answer of whether or not it can be done, what this color looks like with this color, etc. there’s no anticipation of needs. Both times I’ve come in and couldn’t get done what I wanted. Made my appointment days before and was there over 3 hours for a full set. In the middle of my appt she said “could you wait 15 minutes I have an appointment.” So do I? It ended up being 30 minutes on the dot. What I eventually got I wasn’t aware what kind of polish it was and was under the impression it was something else considering I said I hated nail polish and preferred only gel or dip.... so I was confused st the end when I saw it was just plain polish. I now have to go somewhere else tomorrow after 3 hours to get them re done.

They used to be great but are just too busy anymore, wait times are excessive and I even call ahead. The last couple times a newer girl (or someone I dont see often) did my nails and filed my natural nails with a drill- she filed them so thin they hurt. Took my nails 3 months to recover, they were constantly breaking they were so weak. After going here for 2 years, I sadly havent gone back.

Amazing service! They accommodated our wedding party and even opened an hour early for us. We forgot glasses for our champagne and they went out and bought cups for us. Not to mention, our nails all looked beautiful. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thank you!

Awful experience. The shaping of the nails were just plain bad. Nails were slanting off at the sides at all angles. Looked like a kindergarten student did my nails. I’m so embarrassed for people to see them! The staff talks about you and doesn’t think that you understand what they are saying. I have never had such a bad experience.

I had the worst experience here and I’m never coming back. I asked for french shellac manicure first but either nail polish was bad or technician didn’t prep nails correctly, because nail polish looked terrible on my nails. I then asked for regular color and she ended up going over my cuticles on pretty much every nail. What a waste of time and money!

I had my nails done here over a year ago and i haven’t gotten my nails done AT ALL since because of how bad they were, every nail was uneven with the other no 2 nails even matched. they were bumpy and not even pointed correctly, i had asked for stilettos and i had gotten almond ones because “they couldn’t do a stiletto” i had to pay 70$ for a set of nails with gel polish NO ADD ONS and with how bad they messed them up i haven’t gotten my nails done since along with the workers are EXTREMELY rude and will YELL at you if you even slightly try to tell them they messed up. i would give ZERO stars if i could. DO NOT GO HERE.
