I use to come to this shop 3/4 years ago without any issues as far as pricing and quality. Honestly I am very disappointed, as it took forever to get something simple done “tips”. I came in knowing what I wanted and was not going to be forced with anything, but what I wanted. My gel polish on my toes are horrible, my big toe tip is thicker than the rest. $60 just for polish removal and gel? Like the rest of the reviews stated gossip and unprofessional language is used here and it was not ever like this before! Very pricy for sloppy work! Most definitely will be my last visit! I use to love Karina’s and swore by it, now no ma’am Pam!

The real what I asked for and what I got. I paid $100 for these ‘nails’ and I say ‘nails’ because they didn’t use any acrylic or tips. They use PRESS ON nails and slap some gel polish on it and call it a day. I could of went to the beauty supply store and did it myself and paid no more than $10.

The place is spotless and the staff is very nice and friendly. They serve wine (and other beverages). Unfortunately, the last time I got a manicure, I was pressured into a dip manicure, which I expressed several times I did not like. But I was told that it doesnt chip, lasts longer and is better for your nails, plus it was only $3 more than gel. Well I am less than a week in, and 5 out of 10 nails have chips, and Im not talking baby, barely can see them chips..so as far as cost and quality...I am not pleased.

I went in on a Tuesday evening to get a pedicure and full set. Initially, they were welcoming and it was good. But then I sat in a pedicure chair for 30 mins before someone came to service me after being told it would be 10 mins. There were other people who walked in after me that were serviced right away. So after we finally finished that, I get my nails done by Mary and she was very rude. She was rough and cut my fingers twice with the drill. Then I told her how I wanted my nails done and she kept interrupting me and just saying okay which resulted in her painting my nails wrong. She had to redo then and acted as if she had an attitude because she cut me off when I told her what I wanted and she wasn’t listening because she was talking to the other techs. This was my first and last time coming here and being recommended by a friend for how good and friendly they are. For the money I spent, this was unacceptable.

I’ve been going to Karinas for about 2 years. My daughters and mom go as well. My nails always look amazing. Karla never disappoints. Excellent service💞. Wish I could give more stars than 5.

I went to this nail salon right before Covid hit so I have not had a chance to go back. However, I absolutely loved my experience there. The staff is friendly and professional and they definitely take care of you. I would trust them with my nails anytime. They did an amazing job! I got a full set which literally lasted a month. Yes, I had no chipping and no breakage for an entire month! I had to soak them off once they got too overgrown and because of the covid situation at the time I couldn’t get them refilled or else I would have been back. Pricing is honestly fair for the quality of work you receive. Love them

Manicure was also GREAT got all the cuticles perfectly and left feeling reborn having been overdue for a nail service for some time. Been going to Karinas on and off since 2006. Tried other places but they have never lived up. I always get a mani pedi. Just reg. I dont need all the frills. Today I let my almost 3yo pick my color and got her nails colored for the first time. Jlo did a wonderful job. Shes been my new favorite tech. I have very sensitive heels. Usually techs always scrub to much and my heel cracks. But not Jlo. My 3rd visit with her and I will surely ask for her every trip! Looking forward to taking my daughter on her 3rd birthday for the fill mani pedi treatment.

Yesterday my daughter and I went to this salon to have our nails done. I had gel nails done, and I was finished within 30 minutes. My daughter got acrylic nails and asked to have different colors and design painted on. Well it took 2 people to do her nails. The first one did her tips. The next didthe design. She was not very nice. I think she was actually annoyed. But anyway the bill was $147 - what ????? We asked ahead of time so we wouldn’t be surprised. So disappointed. I will never go back. Needless to say we waited a long time too. The girl at desk said it would be around 50$ for my daughters nails. This is so ridiculous. Beware of these tactics

I have gone once and never again, they had me and my wallet looking like clowns... I paid 110 for what I thought was something simple, literally just white clear acrylic with small amount of rhinestones and an Initial on ONE finger.. they took forever and needless to say as soon as I left the place the rhinestones had fallen off! This place is over rated and just filled with a bunch of gossipers who don’t even do nails how you want them.💀

I gave them two chances. Each time the nail quality was poor and my nails broke the next day. They are extremely to pricey for the quality of work. They will not get my business again.

On my last experience i was greatly humbled that they allowed me to come in very late and they were happy to do a full set on me even though they were about to close. Angie is my regular tech and she is beyond awesome, always helps me pick my colors and creates the perfect look for me everytime!!!! Nicole(shop owner/mgr) always makes sure i am taken care of even if angie is not there and there is truly not one person i wouldnt recommend to do your nails there. They are all knowledgeable, kind and while the prices may be more than some would expect, know that you will get a quality experience and the BEST 💅🏾 in MEMPHIS period❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

People are alright and my nails were alright. When I got the dip it was pretty but when they did the acrylic flower, it didnt look anything like what I wanted or asked for. I wanted simple, they over complicated it and it looked like bunch of waves not a flower. I had to go back as the top coat started coming off the next day. May go back but not my first choice

I have been to many nail salons in the Memphis area and not a single one comes anywhere close to Karinas. Their quality is impeccable. Their service is beyond excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. All of the nail techs are welcoming and extremely helpful. I had the most relaxing pedicure ever, the tech was so gentle but thorough in getting all my cuticles and dead skin off, and oh my god I could go on for days about how good the foot massage was. What I love about this salon besides the amazing customer is the many diverse services they offer. They provide many unique and classic acrylic sets. I always get complimented on my nails anywhere I go when I come to Karinas. It is very clean & you get you in and out very quickly. I got my nails filled in yesterday and they did an awful job. They are to short, they are raised, and there is still a gap like i never even filed them in. This plus having my toe nails painted was $62!! Never again

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Ive been here on multiple occasions over the past 3 years and always noticed minor things wrong with my nails but never thought too much into it........ until my friend and I went together. We both got the same thing, full set with gel polish). I was charged $58 and she was charged $88. First of all, thats too much money for nails that are thick, messy and dont last. Secondly, why was there a difference in price? We both got the EXACT same thing? Third, the man who did my nails was rude and did not have any knowledge as to what he was doing. When I began coming here, prices were reasonable and service was decent; its sad that things have changed since business is growing. You may need to downsize again in the coming years with the quality and service you provide. Wouldnt recommend anyone EVER.

Horrible customer service!My daughter bought a Groupon for us for Christmas. She communicated with an employee via Instagram about times and appointments. She asked about the day after Christmas and was told No appointment needed, just walk in. We did so and were told we had to have an appointment. We then made an appointment on New Years Day. Was told Yes they were open. Arrived only to find they were closed! The explanation was a new employee that would probably not be there much longer. What business does not have Days Closed marked in some way on their appointment book ? Blaming a new employee is not professional. The new employee was either trained by current employees or were failed to be trained. This is not a business I would recommend nor give my business to. I also believe that it was clearly the fault of the employees that this happened, yet no offer of a discount of any kind for our inconvenience. I traveled 40 miles TWICE, when I could have traveled 5 miles for better service! This is the kind of service that kills a business!

Very long wait. Other customers that came in after us were helped before us. Manicure did not include cuticle trim, soaking hands - basically put on dip. Added cuticle oil as we left - with oil dripping from hands. Won’t be back

Initially, I was happy with the service, but now I feel completely taken advantage of, not only did they charge me more than originally quoted, the work didn’t even last a week!I was told $35 for pedi, $40 for set with removal and they charged me $95 and said each nail they put a tip on was $5 EACH, AFTER they did it! I specifically asked up front for a specific quote and details of what it included! The work hasn’t even lasted a week! So, not only was I overcharged, I’ll have to go somewhere else and get it completely redone, in just a week! Definitely the worst $95 PLUS tip I’ve ever spent, on my nails! I regret tipping such poor quality work, but at the time I didn’t know. The guy that did my nails was rude, but the girl that did my pedi was great, even tho the polish didn’t last a week!DO NOT RECOMMEND!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

After years of crop shops, I was so sick of being rushed and finding imperfections when I left. I was referred to Karinas and I fell in love with these ladies. They are all perfect in their work. If you are not happy, Nicole wont let you leave! I am biased to Angie but they are all amazing. Thank you Angie, for taking the time you took, perfecting my wedding nails! I absolutely loved the service at Karinas Nails! Remodeling has taken place and it more spacious now! Marble counter bar with stools and new foot spa tubs! Looks amazing! I ordered a gel set and pedicure! I like how each nail technition take their time on your feet and hands! The atmosphere is calm and professional.

After going there for sometime now, Ive came to a realization that this nailshop is one of a kind & not in a good way. They gossip like no other, they make up their own pricing, talk about customers behind their backs & shows favoritism. For example, Yasmeen was on the phone & clearly stated a fill in was $13. Keep in mind thats what I came in for as well as a polish change on my toes, $10. So when it was time for me to go, she said my total was $25 in which it should of been $23 (do the math). Now Im not bitching over $2, but Ijs? Then she asked Nicole & she confirmed the same price. Needless to say, their pricing board says what I had totaled up! After I use my coupon card for $10 off, I plan on not coming back. Also look below at how my nails are after 1 FULL WEEK. & My nail chipped after 2 days of getting my fill in. :) Hope this helps!

I never leave the door unhappy and if I ever feel disappointed, Nicole make sure that I am please. I am not the easiest to please so they are patient with me. I won’t go anywhere else!

Angie does a great job shaping my nails! Great atmosphere! Great service options as well for beautiful nails. Will try the color powder. Pedicure techs need a little more training on cuticle removals for varying nail beds. So far Jlo gives the best pedi tho.🤗

For my first over all experience I am very impressed. They are very clean, professional, & attentive.

Initially, this seemed like a good place to go and it was going to be my new go to nail salon. However, the work was horrible and hardly lasted a week. My gel pedicure chipped the very next day and gel is not supposed to chip for weeks, literally. My nails were popping off in 5 days. I paid around $130 + tip for this service. I asked to reschedule to fix it, they said they would but then later ignored me. I regret my visit, truly.

GREAT JOB LADIES!!! Went to Karinas for my Pre-Birthday celebration with 4 of my girlfriends and the staff was excellent. Everyone loved their nails and the selection was amazing. We were able to bring wine and they supplied the glasses for each of us (not the tacky plastic cups many other salons give customers). When I entered the store the lady that received me was rude. They took forever to make a simple bow in my big toe french. And they told me a price at the beginning and at the end a couple teenagers were taking care of the register and they told me a totally different price.

First of all, I bought a Groupon deal for Karinas Nails for my cousin as a birthday gift and we went together today to get pedicures. When my cousin called and made the appointment two days ago, she told them about the Groupon voucher, and they had no issue with it. It wasnt expired, so there were no reason we couldnt use it. However, when we arrived for our appointment time, the girl at the front desk said they cannot honor it for some reason that made zero sense to us. Needless to say, we were NOT happy, and really shouldve left and gone elsewhere right then and there, but for some reason we stayed, and things only went downhill from there. We went to our spa chairs and started soaking our feet, and our technicians came out and started to work on them. Long story short, the guy that worked on my cousins feet wasnt bad, but the woman who did mine was absolutely the worst Ive ever had! I basically paid $40 to be tortured. I had a small abrasion on the top of my foot that I pointed out to her in the hopes that she would simply go easy there, but no such luck. She was insanely rough throughout the entire pedicure, and never avoided my sore spot, even though I made it very clear that I was in pain. She didnt care, she just kept going, and I was so happy when she was finally done. But instead of telling us to go sit under the lights to dry our toes, she just walked away to do a manicure for another customer without a word. She didnt thank us for our business or anything, she just left. We sat in the chairs for another 20 minutes until we finally decided to go pay and leave. Needless to say, she didnt receive a tip and you couldnt pay me enough to go back!

Nails look pretty good but they did my sisters as well and clumped glitter on the nails. When asked to remove the glitter the owner was extremely rude

My favorite place ever. I don’t trust anyone else. I can go in wanting something g fancy or just wanting a manicure with no polish and I’m treated wonderfully no matter what. I just had a dip manicure soaked off that had been on my nails for over a MONTH that hadn’t cracked or peeled or lifted at all. I can say from experience this is up to par with their quality. Such a great group of people!

Nails were nice for $70 but within 3 hours of getting them done, a nail popped off while putting on lotion. How? I just want to know if I come back tomorrow can I get it fixed for free because I don’t have enough money to be just giving away.Update: After a very eventful day, I was able to get them redone and they look a lot better!!! Their pedicurist are great but the nail experience was horrible and over priced. The 2 old women are very rude and they dont value their clients because they know theyll continue to get business and I hate establishments like that.

So I have been coming here for the pass 2 years and the girls are amazing! I get a warm greeting as soon as I step in the door. They have a big selection of polishes which is probably the only bad thing about this place because it takes me forever to pick a polish. They have a big following on social media so I can see where the negative press come from. They are upfront and straight forward with prices and services so maybe that is why some clients feel differently about this place. I love it here and will not goes anywhere else!

Let me start by saying I love this place. I have been a loyal clients for almost 5 years and cannot imagine going anywhere else. I love my nails to be festive and they always are. I come here every 2-3 weeks for a nice set and pedi. I have never have a problem. I enjoy the nice conversations with staffs and they keep me updated on my nails as well as current events.

Karinas Nails is the best nail salon Ive ever been to. I always come here to get my nails did including toes. They have the best service ever they attend you as soon as you walk threw the door. The girls who work here are so kind and make you feel comfortable about getting your nails done. They support you to try something different with yourself. The place is very clean and organized, they do have a restroom as well.

I went to this salon because of the work on Instagram. I made an appointment, and I was quoted prices. Of course the pricing didn’t match when I got ready to pay, and neither did the work. Totally overpriced. I paid double what I would have paid at any other salon, and I would have gotten better service. I also sent a pic of what I wanted, but when I got there they said they didn’t have the polish anymore. Mind you, I had just spoke with her 2 days prior to the appointment. I received the worst pedicure ever. I had to pick the excess cuticles from around my toes because the young lady didn’t do it, and she had a terrible attitude. My nails don’t look neat. I was supposed to get coffin shaped, which I paid extra for, and they are filed like regular square nails. I told the young lady that I didn’t want my nails too long. I asked her to cut them shorter twice. By the second time she said that she still had to file them down. Of course they are still too long, and I had to pay extra for the length. So I’m paying for something I really don’t even want. My mom went also, and it’s not even been a full 24 hours, and she had the chrome rubbed on her nails, and it’s coming off. Her pedicure was terrible as well, and her nails are thick and bulky, and she only got an overlay. It’s said you get what you pay for, and I definitely paid too much for these services. I would advise anyone not to go here. Please don’t waste your money. You work too hard just to give it away.

It’s always an absolute pleasure coming to Karina’s for my nail services, their professionalism and spectacular customer service surely does not go unnoticed. I’ve had all nail techs and each one has their own unique skill but I’ve been consistent with Angie who is an amazing conversationalist!!
