Honestly I went a few places in Memphis looking for a car and found no help until my last stop which was my Blessing!!! Ride Rite I tell you is the BEST carlot in Memphis Tn on Third St hands down I went in and they put me in a 2016 Dodge Journey within a hour. My experience at Ride Rite was AWSOME!!!!! My salesperson, Bob was great!!!! I want to give an HONEST rating about this car dealership. I went in about 3 weeks ago with a budget. I did not expect to buy a car. I just wanted to check it out and see what I could find in my area. I am a single mother doing the absolute best I can right now. Well when I went in I spoke with the salesman Jamie. He told me about a 2017 and a 2011 that I qualified for. I told him I did not want a car payment because of my situation and he told me about a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer they had on the lot. I told him Id like to see it and test drive it. He rode with me during the test drive, showed me a few features about the car and then we headed back to the lot. Chris the owner was doing all of my paperwork and getting me set up to take this baby home. After all the paperwork I was going to use my credit card to pay. It got declined! The owner told me I could call and see what was going on and he would be patient with me. I spoke with my card holders company and they told me the only way I could get the money is if I went to the bank and withdraw it. I told the owner I walked to the company and had no way to pick up the money. He said I could take the car I test drove to pick up the money. Which was very nice of him to do. I went to the bank and withdrew the money and headed back. Jamie was extremely helpful. Everyone was in good spirits and they genuinely care about their customers. They could have turned me away but instead they worked out an outstanding deal with me and also made me feel comfortable with my purchase. Chris got my tags for me and even put them on for me. They are so nice and helpful. So far everything is good with my car. Im loving it. This is an extremely humble company and I will definitely be buying from them again. Thank you so much Chris and Jamie for all of your help!

Ride-Rite on Third St are ripping people off. If you bought a car from them, do not expect them to be honest about their maintenance and repair prices if something goes wrong on your vehicle( something will go wrong). Chris (owner) and Bob are dishonest people. The AC in my car went out and they told me the part to my car (high pressure hose) cost over $200 and in order for me to get my air fixed I needed this exact car part. After doing research and calling around to autozone and O Reily. I found out that the actual price of the hose on my car cost $70. So this is what they did: They showed me the part I needed and the cost of it, but it was a supreme version of the part I needed which cost $200+, and told me that was the only option. When in reality they knew I could have just got the simpler version of that car part, which was what was already on my car. Their plans was to charge me for the expensive one and then go buy the regular one and pocket the rest of the money. If you are shopping here, (which I dont recommend) NEVER let them quote you on repair without asking them how much of that price is labor and how much of that price is car parts. And Chris the owner, loses all his professionalism and politeness after youve bought the car from him. Do not expect the same person if you need to go back for repair. He could care less that you did business with him and put food on his table. Their rating is zero stars. 0

I called the company around 9 am to ask about a cash offer an I was on the road driving about 2:25 pm. Bob was so great along with Jamie and the owner. I would refer anyone to them . Loved the customer service experience.

The men at this shop were an absolute blessing during one of the worst weeks. Due to a family emergency I had to move across the country unexpectedly and on the way my car broke down in Memphis. I was lucky enough to have it break down right across the street from this shop. They went above and beyond to help me even coming in early on Saturday to get me back on the road, then made sure I made it home safe once I got there. My 14 year old car sounds better than it did before (as in no sounds, it’s so quiet you can’t even hear it’s turned on) and I feel a little bit safer starting a new life not also having to worry about being without a car. You don’t run into people like this often.

Went there yesterday I picked out a van at lunch time my credit rating was over 700 he tried to stick me with a percentage rate of 22 percent I said that was to much then 4 hours later I called him he gave me a rate of 14.9 I said its to much so he contacted state Farm which they approved me for the loan at 9.25 also the state farm agent had the same name as me, figure that however the state farm guy said all I need to do is give him my drivers lic. To copy and proof of my insurance. And he would write them a checkNot even 1 minute to the agents office the car lot called and said It was first come first serve and he never asked me to put down earnest money. Dont get taken. Go somewhere else to honest people This was the one on south Mendenhall

Good selection great staff for someone with no credit great place

First of all, the staff at the third st. location is very friendly and they try to work with you and get you riding. At this point, my husband and myself are very disappointed at results we got today. He was told to bring his check stub and Id, so that they could put him in the system and he was also told that they would work with him and could put it in the layaway with so much down. My husband left work going down there on the bus and when he got there and they got all the information in the system, it was something entirely different. He was told that he had to put 6,000 down and he would need a co-signer before he could go any further. Thats the reason for the one star. I am not putting anybody down but in the future stick to what you tell someone and not get their hope up on something thats not going to happen. Ppl are struggling these days trying to get from point A to point B. But when God closes certain doors he always open many more. Have a happy new year!!!!
