The apa8are decent looking...but my sons apartment has mold spores growing. AND NO ONE IS ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM!!! Thats disappointing and totally unsafe and unhealthy. I wonder how many other people are having problems. Sometimes you need to spend money. How would you like it, if it were you?!
Salutations management!First off, I’d like to say that since my girlfriend and I moved into our new apartment 4-5 months ago, we’ve grown to absolutely LOVE our new space, neighborhood, city and county! Whenever we’ve had an issue, management is quick to help solve it, and we are very appreciative of that, as we didn’t have that luxury when we were living together in our first apartment. You guys have made our first BIG move from our hometown absolutely welcoming and comfortable for us. Therefore, I thought I’d take this “sweepstakes” as an opportunity to let you know how deeply appreciative we are. My girlfriend and I are both in our mid twenties. We moved from Broward County together so that my girlfriend could attend the college classes that she’s been dying to take for years, and as the supportive boyfriend that I try my hardest to be, I absolutely jumped on the chance to do everything that I could to help her follow her goals and dreams as smoothly as she could. I work 50+ hours per week while she works 40+ and ALSO attends all of her classes and uses any free time that she has to study and work on homework. With all of this, we still find time to work on cleaning our apartment when we need to, but I thought this would be a perfect chance to express our gratitude and to possibly also get a chance to sit back and relax with some wine on a day where we would usually be using our little free time to clean the apartment. I also thought it would be nice to surprise my girlfriend with a house cleaning and a bottle of wine after one of her hard days at work. Thank you so much again for everything you guys have done, and I really hope that we can be considered as the winner for this awesome prize! Have a wonderful evening!Warm Regards,Residents of Apartment 509
Late writing this review but wish I could say better things about this complex. Public washing machines flooded out my clothes once never used them again. Much better and worse places around the area. Grills never worked as promised, and swam in one of their pools once. Brevard county is sketchy be careful and this is coming from a male! Nonetheless worse complexes in the local area but 1-2 star max and only 0% refund....the joys of renting. My apartment was immaculate and actually repaired some of the damage that was on walls prior. Dead fish smell from the girl who lived under my room multiple days...
So.... I just moved here from New York City.... listen New Yorkers.... it’s inexpensive, gorgeous and very welcoming. Grounds are kept very well. Honestly I feel like I’m in a resort and my apartment is a hotel room. The rooms are amazing and if you’re from the city these apartments are huge. Kawanda is awesome. I can’t get over how beautiful this place is and my view. I’ll never go back to New York. You will never find a place like this up there. 10/10 would recommend. Also, I’ve seen a lot of people in their mid to late 20s and early 30s... food for thought.Edit: they gave me a Christmas present! I’m just more and more amazed by this place everyday. Second update. Since, I’ve gotten cupcakes, happy meals and hot coco for Valentine’s Day! Just renewed extremely happy.
I’ve been living here since September of ‘20. It’s been extremely pleasant since day one! The grounds are kept clean, it’s a quiet neighborhood, and the staff responds quickly and efficiently. My personal favorite is all the oak trees that make it look beautiful and tucked away from the busy world!
As a returning resident, I was simply amazed by the level of engagement and proactivity in the leasing office. Edrice and Kiwanda took great care of me during my visit. The staff answered all my questions and reassured me the quiet nature and low traffic I was experiencing during my visit was a regular occurrence at the community. Im very excited about testing their new grill Master 😋 outdoor kitchen I saw during my tour. The convenience of the free Wi-Fi by the pool makes me look forward to making the best of my staycations. It seems like every day was a resident appreciation day with free food and various prizes for the residents. I look forward to moving back in. Theres definitely been some big changes. Its going to be great to not to have to worry about quarters or having to leave the complex to do my laundry. I can relax in the pool as my clothes dry.
Very pleasant experience living @ Lake Pointe Apartments. The Front office is generous and willing to go out of there own way to make your living experience that much better. Highly recommended!
TL;DR Dont pick this place. Even if this place seems like the cheapest option, pick the other place. Trust me, youll save money, time, and your mental well-being.1.) Save your money: This apartment complex charges too much for its amenities that are not even that nice. The apartment complex is old and it shows. Where all that extra money goes is a mystery to me because its certainly not going to updating the apartments. Also, I have never had such a high water bill in my life. I was paying close to $100 for water/sewer. I checked with neighbors to see if it was normal, and although they all had high amounts, none of them were the same. This is particularly strange because the water bills (according to contract) are based on a ratio occupancy formula. However, I could not find any consistency to any of mine or my neighbors water bills. I tried talking to the front office and the billing company, but nobody seems to have answers. Which, on that point, whether youre talking to ARIUM, the front office, or whoever they tell you to call, you will always be passed around. This place loves to claim that they have no knowledge of something and pass the buck to someone else. After all of the minor charges, I was essentially paying the price for a boutique apartment. In fact, my neighbors decided to move to a boutique apartment in Viera because it was newer, nicer, and cheaper. I myself also moved out and am now happier, and feel a moral obligation to leave a review in hopes that it helps someone.2.) Save yourself: The first day I moved into this place, my first thought was, did I make a mistake? because the apartment was dirty and the common areas not well maintained. I spent the first day cleaning the apartment, picking up trash, and replacing the toilet seat (yes, the toilet was disgusting). I did leave a message with the front office to inform them of this, but the compensation I was offered, was a pizza. I realize now that I should have pushed for more, but I was so stunned at the time that that was how they would apologize for the inconvenience, that I said sure. They even tried to just give me a pizza from their COVID-19 food drive (I know its free pizza, but even I knew that somebody else probably needed it more than me so I did not partake). The pizza story is a long one, but in short, I did not get the apology pizza, or any other form of compensation.
Not worth my money. This apartment complex has lovely and friendly neighbors but management is really bad. They have never helped us with any problems that we had while living there. We could not do a tour because at the time we moved, Covid 19 was starting to spread & can only do virtual tour. The apartment was dirty and bathroom was filthy. It was crazy!!! The door’s paint was chipped and looks beat up. We got charged extra $10 every month for Forced renters insurance even when we got our own insurance. I have never received my money back because when I tried to management said I have to call the insurance company & then get passed on to Caroll Management & then was told that I have to call lake point. But lake point always say they cannot do anything. I asked for a copy of the final bill to be sent to us since they are taking our deposit money. Which btw they are supposed to do according to the contract. But they just gave us another reason and asked us to come all the way to the office. It is such a hassle and a lot of stress dealing with these people. They need to get a manager and a leasing consultant that can do their jobs better.
4 days no hot water. This is now a weekly affair.
As someone who just relocated to a new area, the staff here at Lakepointe has really helped in the transition of calling a new place home. From the ladies up in the front office, to the maintenance team. So professional, would highly recommend anyone to live here in my complex. I would also additionally like to commend the maintenance team for there efforts throughout my time here. There has been multiple times where I have been in need of something no matter what time of day it is they will be there to assist you. Amazing job !
Nice apartment complex.
Nice place. Average rating. No wow factor.
I recently just took a tour of the property and was so impressed I signed the lease as soon as we got back to the office. Community is nice and quiet and the inside of the apartment was nice and spacious as well. AND on top of it all, you wont beat the price. Take it from someone who looked at 10-15 apartments all the way from Satellite Beach to Palm Bay. Kiwanda and the manager are awesome, and big shout out to Matt! He did a great job with the tour and answering any questions I had
@robert Ponte Get back to us when youve been here in Florida longer because if youre comparing Florida to NY thats apples to oranges as they say & anything will look good.. LOL Former NYr too
So I been here for a year almost. Now its time to resign during covod 19 and they want to raise my rent if I only sign a 6 month lease. But I sign a year lease they wont..this is sad to know that with people not knowing whats going to happen that they not willing to work with there current residence to help. So to people looking to move right now reading this. Neighbor Hood is nice and clean..and everyone living here is respectfully bit management and owners could care less in my opinion
I have live here for one month. The apartment has high levels of mold. When I first moved in the apartment it smelled so good, but that was just a cover-up for the mold smells. When I asked Edrice twice to have a mold inspection to be done I never even got a response. I took it upon myself to get the mold testing done. I have asthma so the mold is a hazard to my health. I would not recommend Lake Pointe apartments to anyone because the mold is not good for the health, roaches crawling on me while sleeping not to mention the number of cold showers Ive had to take and Ive only been there one month. When I moved out the unit they wanted me to sign something stating that I would not hold them liable. They should be held liable because they allowed me to move in a unit with high levels of mold.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to live that has awesome events and awesome customer service then look no further. The front office are very knowledgeable and will accommodate your needs and find the right apartment for you. Highly recommended
Very professional and awesome people! I have lived here for some time and have been so blessed. Warm and compassionate, all is a great experience and a place to call home.
I dont live here however I wanted to comment on how clean, quiet and lovely the property is. I was visiting a friend that lives here and was so impressed by what we saw that my family and I came back to take the tour. The Manager was a real pleasure to talk to and she is invested in her residents as well as the property. Im very impressed.
I would highly recommend this property. It’s very rare you find a property that has everything you need. The office staff and maintenance team are incredible. The neighborhood is a very quiet and nice. Lastly it’s very affordable.
Lake point’s office woman gave me the impression there would be no denial after paying for two application fees. I’m sure the place is lovely to live in if you don’t have to worry about money. It turned out i paid 100$ for nothing, and wasted 3 hours of my time, also I was never told why we were denied, which is not right.I truly am starting to believe they were trying to reel people in to make money off of application processes.
Honestly this is one of the best apt. complex I have lived in. Its quiet & the grounds are nice. They take very good care of this place. Love my apt. Staff & maintenance are great. I highly recommend it here
Living at Lake Pointe Apartments is a dream come true. Thank heaven I am enjoying walking on the grounds, relaxing on my porch when it rains, cooking in my kitchen, and feeling like I am home in a pleasant community!
Ive been living here a little over 6 months and couldnt be happier!! From the office staff (Cassie) and the Maintenance crew (Joe especially) to the grounds and neighbors everything is fantastic! My A/C recently stopped cooling and they had a new unit in place in less than a week and you would never have known anything construction wise had happened everything was perfectly cleaned up! Me and my Pups couldnt ask for a safer or more beautiful place to live! You will love living here!!!!!
The office staff have always been very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Maintenance orders are handled quickly and efficiently. Its a quiet place to live and I have always felt safe. I have lived here for 3 years and it has been a pleasurable experience.
It’s a stress free living environment. Everything I need is in reach.
Over the past 2 years residing here, this community has felt more like family, a very caring and thoughtful staff that have always been responsive and helpful!! Thank you Lake Pointe!!
Great place to live and affordable. Back then. Don’t know now. But looks like it’s refurbished, sweet! We liked living there.
I couldn’t have asked to live in a better place! love living here because of so many wonderful reasons, the atmosphere is so relaxing and inviting . They take care of all of your maintenance concerns leaving myself to relax more .Sheena, the property manager helped me with my transfer and made it so easy! No complaints out of me love the staff, love the soothing life style, love my neighbors but I LOVE OUR spaghetti Dinners the most!!!!
I love this community because the environment here is beautiful and amazing. What I really like is its very near to the Melbourne International Airport just a very short distance from the apartment and also very close to Walmart, and all other Shopping malls, Restaurants and grocery stores. This place is very commute to travel in buses like a short walk from the apartment. The Manager Sheena is very kind and good person. I recently had an issue with the refrigerator, So I complained to her, she quickly came to check and understood the problem and within couple of days the problem was resolved. Thanks to the manager to be so quick to solve the issue.I really love my home because the people that work here are so caring. I feel safe!
Very friendly staff. I have lived here for 5 months so far and have been very happy. Any maintenance issue is handled in a timely manner.
Went and toured this place today and everyone was very nice. Renovations were done well, pricing was decent and overall, it seemed like a place Id consider staying at. We got to the end of the tour, pricing and discussions and Im not exactly sure how it came up, but I mentioned all my stuff was in a POD. I was told unless the POD fit entirely inside a parking space, it would not be allowed to stay overnight, no exceptions! I could understand how they wouldnt want oversized items sitting in the parking lot for too long, but surely a very common item, such as a POD, could be left for 24 - 48 hours during unloading...but no! So just beware! I asked every other complex about this and none of the others had this issue so it sounds like there can be some unreasonable restrictions!
I love living here at Lake Pointe Apartments, it is a very quiet community, with many walking paths and a lot of friendly dogs, and owners, we have a beautiful lake with a water fountain, a wide variety of tropical birds, turtles and fish with no alligators none that Ive ever seen anyways. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, if you have any problems with anything the maintenance crew gets the problem solved quickly. We have community gatherings often with emails sent to everyone to let you know whats going on for all sorts of functions so we can get to know our neighbors better. Its a very safe community. My little Morkie Teddie and I are very happy here, and we hope to be here for a long time.Sincerely a very happy resident.
This is a super nice apartment complex located close to the beaches. Great little apartments, with up to date appliances, a modern classic look and an affordable option for most. Location location location is everything. Again, located minutes from anything youre looking for.
I love my apartment community!!! They are so welcoming and friendly. The Lake Pointe team is always willing to help in any way and I’ve never had a bad experience😁 10/10 would recommend!!!! Also Kiwanda is my fav!
Resident activities are so much fun! I have never been in a place that organized so many nice events for the residents.
Hi all,I felt the need to post a review and it is the first that I’ve ever left for a place that I’ve lived. This apartment complex has exceeded my expectations 100%. I love the gym and the ammenties. They neighbors are super friendly and all around great people. The staff have been phenomenal, I had an incredible leasing agent named Cassandra who has been a huge help throughout my time here. I would definitely recomend these apartments, if I didn’t buy a house I’d still be here.
I want to thank Joe and all our guys in maintenance for being an awesome crew! You guys are polite, professional and go above and beyond. I wanted to let you know how much your appreciated! Thank you!!!!
Observation review, It seems a lot of people are reporting that this company is just sending repairmen to fix things and not finish fixing them. then keep taking money off of the deposit. This is a common problem among rental agencies. Seeing that this seems to be a problem with this company. I have lost complete interest in renting from them. It is a shame because they could avoid doing that and not harm their reputation. I will not trust companies with these issues.
In general I like living here, the staff is nice and they take care of any issues I may have. It would be nice to have gas grills by the second pool and bathrooms that are open. It would also be nice to have picnic tables by the lake since there is some shade there.
This is the 3rd renewal of my lease to remain a tenant with Lake Pointe. When deciding on a place to live, these are the things that matter the most to me: Safety, noise (within apartment/and in complex), communication from management, and responsiveness from maintenance. I have been extremely satisfied in all these areas! Management is very approachable, and I can appreciate the e-mail communication to keep me informed of all things I need to know. No apartment community is immune from maintenance issues, so when any issues arise within my own apartment, or in the community, it is has been my experience that issues are addressed timely. Communication is key for me, so in the events that something might take longer than expected, I am always informed.
Just moved in love it so far everyone is so friendly here
Best place to live 🙌
LakePointe truly makes me feel like I am at home and apart of a community. Edrice is super nice and always make me laugh. Go see Kawanda if you need a good laugh
Excellent customer service.. Front desk, maintenace department, even the squirrels are awesome.. highly recommend lake point..
The office staff and maintenance are both great. Interior of apartments are nice and I believe most have been completely renovated in the last 2 years or so.The only complaint I have is the flooding in the parking lot. Anytime it rains there are massive areas of standing water that are sometimes 5 or 6 inches deep and 50-60 ft. wide. It dissipates after several hours but has caused issues with my car.
Its very big
Just say “yes, sign me up” the staff here is absolutely incredible! Maintenance works there butt off and completes work orders within the day . Maintenance will come out at 8 on a Friday night to clean a drain and leave with nastiness all over him ensuring his mess is cleaned up. Ladies in the office are very nice and friendly ! Have been here for about a year and have zero complaints .
This is probably one of the worst places to rent from, they tell you a low price that youll be renting at then after a month they raise it by 100$ and change you for outrageous things like water heater even tho I pay electric separate, they change for pest control but ever since Ive lived here Ive had squirrels in my walls and mice in the kitchen. They have yet to after 3 months to fix the rodent problem, dont rent here.
I just moved in about a month and a half ago. I really like it here. Location is great. The sidewalks do flood pretty badly. The complexes are quiet and you dont hear your neighbors, which is great. The staff moved me in quickly and easily. Parking is great.Edit:Ive been here for about 3 months now. I had a small ant issue and staff took care of it within the week. (It was pest control so it takes a longer to get someone to come out.) My dishwasher wasnt working right and maintenance came out and fixed it within 2 days of filing the work order. Staff is accommodating and helpful. My biggest complaint is still the flooding sidewalks and the boiler being broken about once a week.6 months in and still dont understand why everyone is so hard on this place. Theyve been renovating everything from the apartments down to the landscaping. I still have no major complaints.
Going on two years now here still enjoy my time everything is kept neat it’s super quiet and Abby problems are done in a timely fashion. Would recommend
The place is great.Had a small problem with trash pickup at first but they solved it quickly.Their staff is helpful and you can get any maintenance request sorted out quite quickly.I hear a lot about flooding and problems with rainy days but have yet to run into such a situation.Only complaint would be that they are replacing a light post on the back of my building so one of the two paths are incredibly dark at night. This has been going for two months or more. But still, its one path out of two, so not really a problem.
I have lived here less than 2 months and everyone who i have been involved with in the office has been extremely helpful and polite.I requested a small repair job to be done and they were here the very same day. having lived only in houses for last 35 years i had concerns about apartment living but so far i am extremely pleased and surprised with my choice choosing lake pointe.
I have definitely enjoyed my stay here at Lake Pointe! The staff was very helpful during my move in process. In addition, the maintenance team promptly completed maintenance request when needed. The other tenants around me are very friendly! I havent had any noise complants or issues with anyone during my stay. Im so pleased, I will be leasing my apartment for another year. Thank you Lake Pointe!
This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. One star is far too generous. When you sign the lease, the staff is not clear on some clauses and you end up being screwed over to pay for unnecessary things. All they care about is swindling you out of your money. If you come into the office with a complaint, they are far from accommodating. They give you an attitude if you have one and do not help to resolve the issue. Built extremely poorly, air circulates more in the living room than in your own bedroom, it is ridiculous! OVER PRICED to say the least! The list can really go on and on. If you want a takeaway from this....DO NOT SIGN HERE! Save yourself the hassle of living in a complex that does not want to see their residents happy, rather they just want your money!
Lived here for 3 years and it was only out of convenience and not necessity. Nasty neighbors brought in roaches into my apartment and there was no getting rid of them until the neighbors moved. No matter how many pest control calls I made, I would always come home to a critter belly up in my kitchen or living room. When it rains, everything floods (sidewalks, parking lots, the lawn), so bugs come in to get out of the rain. Overall, cant say the upgrade and the numerous remodeling projects was worth the cost to live there.
Broken. Broken. Broken. Cabinets falling apart. All appliances dont work. No hot water--had to call the city, so management would do something. Management lies about costs and repairs. Dont believe any online comments from management. Lake Pointe personnel: dont know how you people sleep at night bilking people who can least afford it.
All the staff is very nice but not very helpful and difficult to get in touch with. Apartment was supposed to be newly renovated and the morning of move in I find out it was not renovated and they offered no alternative or discount. Front door was severely dented and the jam was poorly repaired from what looks like it was kicked in. Apartment was not clean or even freshly painted on move in. Parking lot is always and I mean always under water so dont try to keep a clean car. Hot water is always out but you dont get a discount on the gas to heat it. My neighbors were very nice and quiet so that was a positive. They have nice built in gas grills at the pool but there is never gas in them. I would bring my own tank with me to use them.
Lake Pointe is the best complex in Melbourne! Beautiful interiors and landscaping. Cassie, Sheena, and Edrice are the best office staff I’ve ever encountered and maintenance is top notch!
This place is absolutely horrible and I cant wait to leave. We always have water issues, when we do it isnt hot or theres a leak or some excuse at the moment. Even with the complexs constant water problems the water bill is still high because its shared between the whole building. The rent is stupid for the size of the apartment, but because its renovated you pay as much as a two bed elsewhere would cost you after what they charge for water, gas, and trash. As for the grounds, the second pool located near us was closed most of the summer. The complex floods any time it rains. The potholes will kill your car. They never answer their phones so you have to hope for a call back. When you tell them you have a maintenance problem its a joke to them. Our AC took 9 requests to finally have them fix it properly because it was pouring water into our apartment. Or dishwasher doesnt wash properly but according to them it works fine. Our oven doesnt cook evenly, but according to them its fine. Weve complained multiple times about our neighbors who throw their trash on our porch and blast loud music at all hours of the day. Nothing is taken seriously, as long as they get your over priced rent check. Dont move here. The apartments look renovated, dont let the paint and nice cabinets fool you.
Joe is very professional as well he has a sincere desire to make things right. He is also a very friendly and kind person.~j~
All I have to say is that when I called for the ONE bedroom apt. For about 600-650 the women at the desk said that they are renovating everything so its going to be 750 at the lowest. Which is a ridiculous price for a small one bedroom apartment. Dont buy it seems like they just want your money.
My friend lives here its okay
This place was the absolute most horrible place to live. The buildings are old and the maintenance done was bare minimum to keep it functional. The water is off for days at a time, and no hot water. When I called about my bill (because I was charged $60/month for gas to heat water) after not having hot water for a MONTH, I was told that they kept it from being higher because it was broken. Has to heat water is $60?? Like they were doing me a favor! The parking lots are horrible, the management up front is ridiculous. They actually had the maintenance worker spy on me because of my dogs, saying that I didnt pick up after them, after I took them a video proving that it wasnt my dogs that werent getting picked up after. Horrible, horrible place. They evicted me because I had them reported to the BBB. It wasnt even a legal eviction. I paid my rent on time, every time, even after ridiculous rent hikes. The also treat veterans like crap!
Put in for repairs to the unit over the tub. Saw them once. Still waiting for it to be fixed. Put in a request for the exterminator to come in and get rid of those pesky ants. Still waiting and they were there today. Not happy
A/C was promptly and cool air restored.
The management here is absolutely awful. Theyre more concerned about painting their buildings rather than fixing the drainage problems. Every time it rains EVERYTHING floods. You cant walk down the sidewalk in anything other than ankle deep water. There are MANY unavoidable potholes in the parking lot that have blown out tires and damaged peoples rims. I completely understand rent increases each year, but a 50% increase ($250 increase on a $520 apartment) after only a $75 increase last year?!? And not only having an unbelievable rent increase, but then informing the tenant less than a WEEK before the 60 day move out notice was due?!?! Thats beyond insane, especially for how old our apartment is. The bathroom fan doesnt work, the dishwasher has to be ran 3 times in order for it to clean rinsed off dishes, only two of the burners work (all of these things have had a work order placed and were apparently fixed according to maintenance) and the fact that the water bill (mind you, you dont get to see how much you actually used, management just tells you how much you owe) is not based on what you used in your apartment, it is based on how much water you and the other 3 apartments in your part of the building used, and then averaged. That means you could use barely any water, but your upstairs neighbor could take five 30 minute showers each day and you will be paying the same amount he is. Its so incredibly messed up. The only reason most people live here, including me, is because of the pet policy. They dont have a weight limit for dogs; nor do they have a monthly pet fee, just a pet deposit. Thats why most of the people that live here do. Seriously if you have the option to, or dont have a pet, DONT move in here!!!
After a year of living at this location the place is a joke. They went from apparently bad management to getting bought out and along with raising their prices for everything, things just got worse. The front office ladies have no sympathy and are unwilling to work with tenants. Under the new management there are fines and ridiculous policies in place. You can get fined for simple things like leaving valet trash cans outside to long, and they require a 60 day head notice for you to leave this ridiculous place and if you do not you will be fined or forced to stay past your lease agreement. They’re going from 1020 a month for a 2 bed to almost 1400 a month and the place is mediocre living at best. They always have had terrible plumbing issues from the reviews and I experienced the same thing during my lease. If you’re looking for a good quality apartment complex with friendly staff and affordable living please do yourself the favor and continue looking elsewhere.
Im now on my third lease term here so I can shed light on a lot of the issues people mention in reviews.First and foremost, the hot water problem. Yes, its very real. The community does not have individual hot water heaters but rather boilers that heat the water for the complex. Im not sure if its just a stability issue or also a capacity issue but the hot water will go out typically without warning and return to function some time the next day, only once in my time here did it extend beyond that. The most troubling aspect is there is often no communication about it, no hey we know its out or status updates. The majority of the time it just works, then doesnt work, then works again. As far as frequency, Ive had two times this week where I suddenly didnt have hot water when I went to shower or wash dishes. Whether its capacity or stability, its unacceptable. The pothole issue is real, you can drive through the community to see that for yourself, some are big enough that they are marked with cones. Months is an accurate representation of how long it takes for them to be filled. The majority of the road in the community looks like a patchwork quilt of fixed potholes. Those things out of the way, the community isnt some horror show that will give you rental PTSD. I have never had an issue with bugs, aside from an odd one here or there which you expect in any occupied building. No signs of an infestation just a random few that snuck in. The women in the office have always been helpful and attentive every time Ive gone in there. Maintenance is also very prompt, the longest I waited for something to be fixed was a few days, and it wasnt a critical fix. When the toilet mechanism bit it they were out the same day.Safety is also not a concern of mine in this neighborhood, there are several law enforcement officers living within the community as well. Noise has never been an issue either, I am in 1br so I cant comment on the 2br construction but I very rarely hear any noise from my neighbors. There you go, as honest and plain as I could be. Two big issues that need addressing but if those challenges are met it has potential to be a five star community.
Worst experience I’ve ever had with an apartment complex and I thought nothing could beat the last place we were in! The people in the office are disrespectful and sarcastic. Rent is crazy for how small this place is even a two bedroom and water is 50$ a person. My son also broke a window and they snuck it in our rent without telling us about it. Then we tried to get a copy of our file and they told us no that would couldn’t have it. These people are shady and not worth anyone’s time. Save yourself the headache 🙌🏽
Worst apartment complex Ive ever lived in. Multiple things broken in my newly renovated apartment. Heavy drug presence with neighbor below me. next door neighbor had their house burglarized. The parking lots flood frequently due to poor drainage. The staff cannot be reached by phone and they lied to me on multiple occasions. Service not completed in a timely manner. Had to contact corporate to get anything done. There are much cheaper and nicer places in Brevard. Rent from them!
The rent is a little high for what youre paying for. The staff is friendly but very difficult to get in touch with. Ive been having a bug issue lately, which is strange because we pay 15$ a month, tacked on to our rent, for pest control. The pools are always clean, but theres also an issue with potholes that just ruin your car.Overall, its OK.
Horrible place denied me all because one question was wrong on identification quiz everyone was nice in beginning then once u apply no one responds to you i really liked cassandra very professional then once I applied she stop responding to me im glad it didn’t work out
Re-edit: you opt to live at Lakepointe Apartments, theyll steal your money. I paid $1300 deposit and I didnt get a penny back. I just got some bogus bill in the mail for $162 bucks. I paid the entire lease, too. This place has bad water (call Melbourne City), predatory property management., the apartments are wildly SUBSTANDARD. ***STAY AWAY or youll regret living at Lakepointe. Lying scum criminals!! Call local authorities to get proof. Community blotter says much...Edit: Sheena Baker (property manager) read my bad review: came into my place today saying she didnt like my review. Shes coming in again tomorrow--lawyer said to record her. Come live here with bad management; broken appliances, no hot water--this is what youll get. Dont live here or youll get the same.Broken toilets, broken refrig., broken dishwasher, no hot water...this apartment has all the trappings, i.e., nice landscape (landscapers destroy your car and apartment balcony and windows), clean pool; the actual living circumstances are terrible. Management is predatory to say the least; dont believe the disingenuous online apologies. Lots of good places in Melbourne--dont move here unless you want problems.
If i could post a negative star i would. The management are thieves, will charge for any little thing they can come up with. They rude and have an attitude any time you come in to talk to them. The water changes from super hot to super cold for showers. Any time it rains all of the side walks are so flooded.
I Highly Recommend Edrice! One of the most honest & also one of the best in the business!
The staff is amazing, very friendly and always available
They have harassed us by holding us up on moving in bc their electronic systems did not work properly and bc if service dogs. Cost another $200 fir movers to waitvtil daughter could get tgere to sign. The did not timely (7 days) repair all outside lighting. We moved out as allowed by law. They placed a Notice ti vacate on our door which is considered harassment under FL law. After paying tgem monies owed, they turned us over to collections get more money. unfortunately, it would cost more to take them to court so we paid. I am filing a BBB complaint and a complaint against their business license in FL. Go elsewhere. They have more money.
Nice apartments friendly staff grounds well kept
Very nice
My refigerator has been broken for six months and hasnt been repaired or replaced. Management tried blaming it on a thing of ice cream that I had in my freezer (the freezer is currently frozen slush). The sidewalks and parking lots flood SO easily. My apartment was broken into, and they still havent fixed my window screen. The water boiler breaks like once a week.
Been a while since I lived there but I constantly had the repairman at my apt. And when I left - any repairs that were not finished I got charged for and was deducted from my deposit.
I am a current resident at lake pointe appartments and for my first time renting an apartment,I have to say the management team that they have here is outstanding. The people here are welcoming and will work with you with any issue you may have.ive been treated with respect and care from the team here at lake pointe. I cant wait to experience this year with everyone here.THANK YOU LAKE POINTE!!
Lake Pointe does not care about their residents. Last night somebody was trying to break into my apartment and its the people that stay on the same building. After police were called, I left a voicemail in the leasing off letting them know what happened. Mind you I called them at 2 oclock in the morning and you would think they will call you at 9ish to check to see if youre ok because thats the time they are open? right ? . Nobody called me at all . I had to go to the front off myself almost 11 o clock and let the know You guys are some careless people . I dont play about my safety and clearly they dont care . DONT MOVE HERE !!!!!
Stay away from Lake Pointe. Flooding every time it rains. If you try to inform management about people selling drugs there, they are very rude and dont care about nothing. Buildings are very old and management dont care about nothing, they just want your money
I think considering the amount of people the ladies have to deal with they are doing a good job.some people cant be pleased no matter what you do.
Residents actives are fun
Beautiful setting for apartments
This place is not worth your time. End of story.
Cozy complexes
