Deb helped me find an affordable place and went out of her way to help me on her day off! Very few people are as honest and truly caring in the property management profession as her! She’s caring and helped me get awaited with a new area and made sure to be upfront and not take advantage like a lot of rental people do! I give CedarValley4Rent a 4 but Deb an easy 5!

I saw a nice property in Summerland.

Me and my boyfriend looked at this adorable house on Vine St, through Deb. We loved it! but there was a few things that needed fixed before moving in to make it suitable to living in, she said that was totally understandable and that the things will be fixed, particularly the garage. A day before we get the keys, we drive by it and the garage is still not fixed and there are power lines hanging on the garage, which I’m sure all you know is a huge fire hazard. When I texted her about the garage being fixed and the power lines hanging on the garage, she told me to slow my roll and that others are interested in the house and we don’t have to go through with this if I don’t want. She had a month to fix the garage door and then tells me to slow my roll when I tell her there’s a fire hazard going on, the day before we move in. I’m sure Cedar Valley 4 Rent has great people working for them, but I highly don’t recommend Deb, not a very welcoming experience at all.

Not professional at all! Maintenance never properly fixed anything, when moving out they kept my deposit plus tried to charge for cleaning fees when I had to clean the place to even move in. Slumlaords at its finest!!!

I would not reccomend renting from this company. Complete disregard to any issues on property. The only time there was prompt repair was when the A/C went out. I was home waiting for repair, when the landlord unlocked and opened my door without even knocking. They strive to get by without investing any time or money in their properties.

Not real helpful when acquiring information on phone. Appartment not real clean stains on carpets older appliances. Rent typical.

I would not recommend renting from R&K Rentals/ Cedar Valley 4 Rent to anyone! They were incredibly slow to address issues/fix things when needed, if they were ever addressed at all. Bob was VERY rude every time I had to call him. But, to culminate the issues, they scammed me out of my deposit when I moved out, which I’m sure they do to everybody, because they do not give you a checklist for what is expected when you move out and refuse to do a final walkthrough with you- they tell you to leave the keys on the stove with your forwarding address and then they do the walkthrough on their own and send you your deposit via mail, which allows them to charge you/scam you for the most ridiculous things without you getting any say in it. I called Bob to address this, and he hung up on me. Most unprofessional and scamming landlords, and their properties aren’t great or well maintained.
