The phones don’t seems to work I’ve called 30 times theres no hours of operation the driver have terrible attitudes when they do get you, this goes beyond the stress of COVID just a terrible company no accountability from the owner as. Drivers drive extra slow to rack up the meter worst cab company ever. Sad because there are a few good people. You all need to make it we’re we can rate the individual drivers on there performance. Excuses is all I see for a quite awful service

Left me on a dark, empty parking lot from 9:20p until 10:58p on the 6th of the month. Could be a tad more concerned. No apology just repeatedly a recording that they hadnt located anyone. ??? Is that how business works these days?

I see why Uber and Lyft get all the business. Ive taken cabs in other places. They need to come here and show them how its done! Dispatch is a disaster! Another customer and i waited almost 3 hours! I caught a cab at the local Walmart. The driver checked his computer. Thats why the driver was sitting outside Walmart to catch fares. Nothing was coming over his computer. Said no fare was issued so he took us! This was before Covid and its gotten worse! Even if you schedual a ride, especially after 8pm. There is no guarantee! Ive been left stranded twice! I understand on the weekends or holidays it can be hectic but sometimes it is outrageous! To the ones that do come I thank them and tip generously!

Ive tried using them multiple times and this time it was way to much, I had a job interview so I ordered a cab an hour in advance, called back to see where my cab was and nobody could help me if you call yourself a cab company you need to actually have drivers

The service here sucked big time. It took about an hour to get a driver and the customer service woman talked so fast and had a heavy accent, so it was hard to understand her. Place needs work.

Every time I request a cab, it comes quickly. The rates are very affordable. Its actually cheaper than a Lyft or an Uber. They always take the most direct route which saves on my fare too.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with... I ordered a taxi and the company told me immediately to start looking for the cab. Long story short I waited for over an hour and guess what!? No one showed up... Call to cancel and the representative was so disrespectful. Hung up immediately I cancelled. Honestly dont understand how they get business. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! BEWARE!

Would like to say thank you so much to Tim (cab 276) for being the best driver around. Being in a wheelchair is not always easy, especially when you have to travel to many doctor appointments regularly, thats why I ALWAYS call Tim. He is the ONLY cab driver that I will use! Always friendly and kind! If your looking for a great driver ask for Tim (cab 276)!!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Rather than telling me they had no cabs available (to pick up my kids) they said between 10-15 minutes then NEVER showed up! The kids waited outside, in the cold for over an hour! Eventually I called North End cab who arrived promptly and had them home in less than ten minutes.Yellow cab used to be a good company, now they are terrible. They are rude, they lie to their customers. All she had to do was say they were unavailable, rather than each call being .. theyre on their way, or ten more minutes! That is inconsiderate and beyond poor service. Yellow cab is not a cab company anymore, they are an organization that consist of people who will lie and not provide service and not have the courtesy to just tell their customers the truth.North End is amazing and will give you an estimate arrival time, the number of the cab that will be coming and a call back number if you have concerns. They have earned my thanks, my business and my respect. Yellow Cab should consider closing their business until they can afford to provide actual cabs with drivers and dispatchers who have learned how to tell time.

Poor service and poor app. I booked a few cabs and I never got picked up. Today I waited over 2 hours for a cab and never got picked up. And the app said No Pickup. Dont waste your money on yellow cab. Youre better off walking.

I actually walked up to the building that was doing repairs this early morning and asked for an available car. The mechanic acted as if the request for service was not his job and had a hard time directing me to the call box in front of the building. I left from in front of him SHOCKED 😱 at his attitude...☹️

I called this cab company because they were always on time very polite and caring always putting the customers first but this time the cab pulled up at the Hampton food Lion just when we started load the groceries he yelled for us to Harry up he had to go then he suggested taking us on power park saying it was closer to my home he took us on harpersville road I live on Randolph rd close to main street. What cost me only $9 to go home he charge me $15 I cant believe yellow cab has atuped so low.on top of that because he rushed me to get in the cab I left behind my daughters Christmas gift. Will never use you again.

The first thing I said was Hello and I need a wheelchair accessible cab for someone. Gave them the pick up address and drop off. They sent a regular cab to the drop off address and when I finally got it corrected over the phone, they still sent a regular cab. It was not wheel chair accessible. Idiots! That seems like it was done on purpose. How can you make those mistakes? I even asked her the first time I called, how long does a wheelchair accessible cab take? So, what was the problem then?

Yellow Cab of Hampton, Virginia provided the WORST taxi cab experience I have EVER HAD.I was in a group of girls and we decided to do the responsible thing and call a cab after a late night concert at the Hampton Coliseum. We called Yellow Cab and were told by a RUDE receptionist that all of their cabs were out driving, and we should just hail a cab. Its Hampton, Virginia, not New York City you idiot, there arent just cabs driving around for people to hail. So then I politely asked if we could schedule a cab to pick us up outside of a nearby hotel that we were able to walk to, and I was HUNG UP ON. We called back 3-4 times asking to schedule a cab, but each time the receptionist would not book us one!!! I repeatedly asked how long the wait would be and was never given a straight answer. In the end, a cab never came and we waited around for OVER AN HOUR.I WILL NEVER CALL, OR RIDE IN, YELLOW CAB FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE.Call AERO Cabs, they understand the importance of customer service.

One star is only because its the closest available to zero. I missed my scheduled bus because they didnt even show up! I called every ten minutes said they are doing everything and yet four taxis pass by me over and over again. Worst taxi service. NYC has better compared to this sad excuse.

I love Yellow Cab.....Today we had a terrific Driver his name was Ryan from Jamaca /Queens NY. im from Buffalo and we talked about how great VA waether is. He did something most drivers usually cant do.... he impressed my teenage Daughter who loves her cell, he was so entertaining and interesting that she put the phone down just to listen and laugh. She got out of the cab saying it was like talking to her Uncles. For that I am writing this review to give a big shout out to Ryan a driver who embodies all the reasons that I will always be a Yellow Cab customer. Thanks again Ryan and Yellow Cab for the great service you provide.

Worst taxi service but apparently the only in Hampton Va or at least on a Thursday night. We called for a cab at 1:49 AM and they would not give us an ETA on the cab. Every dispatcher we talked to was extremely rude and acted as if they were going out of the way to do us a favor rather than providing a paid service. We continued calling every 10 minutes and theyre only response was keep calling us back every 10-15 minutes and refused to give us an estimated wait time. our cab finally showed up, with no call or text from dispatch letting us know a cab was on his way, at 3:14 AM. That is ridiculous and inexcusable. They dont even deserve 1 star.

They always take up to a hour or more EVERY time i call for one which is RIDICULOUS! I definitely dont recommend them if you have somewhere important to be within a timely manner because they are not dependable. They need to hire more drivers because obviously they dont have enough if I have to ALWAYS wait longer than the time they give me. HATE IT!

I needed a yellow cab on 12/11/17 at 12:05 while waiting at the Hampton Vet Hospital.I called stating I needed to go to Hampton Goodwill to start my new job orientation at 1pm.I waited until 12:30 and called again I was told driver would call me back,he called back 12:35.Driver,said he would be there in 15 mins;well 15 minutes goes by until 1:05 and I get a call hes at a light inwhich I dont where. I had a grace period till 1:20 at which I called the Vet Rep at Goodwill,stateing my problem.I now have to wait until the 18th for my orientation.I think some employees need to go through a class on manners and being professional.1 HOUR WAIT TIME...Please. I CAN SEE A WEEK BEFORE AND LEADING UP TO CHRISTMAS DAY.BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES :YELLOWCAB.IF ANYTHING i WOULD GIVE YOU,NO STAR.

I called and made arrangements for a cab the day before. Thinking I was avoiding any mess ups and being late to my destination. I waited 15 minutes before I called the dispatcher who made it out to be my fault for not giving enough time for the cab to get to me. What is the point of calling ahead if you dont have any drivers available? I was late getting to my destination.
