A fabulous morning on the ocean with Catch em’ all fishing and captain Jeff. We took our family of 4 (two sons aged 11 and 13) fishing this morning for the first time outside of Michigan and had a blast. Captain was exceptionally kind and patient with my anxiety over being on a boat and the conditions (apparently super normal but i was just nervous) and helped my son catch a lot of different types of fish. After about an hour, when I was calmer I even fished myself and had a great day. Highlight would be the Goliath grouper my dad caught with Jeff’s help! Fabulous day, great captain, excellent value.

Fished with Captain Jeff today in somewhat sporty conditions. He worked hard to put us on a great yellow tail bite in rough conditions. Would definitely fish with him again.

Captain Jeff with Catch em All was awesome! He’s definitely knowledgeable and will get the catch you’re looking for. My wife and stepdaughter had not offshore fished before and he made it easy for them and they now want to go back. His sense of humor, boat music selection made our 3/4 day fishing trip an awesome experience. He’s a captain that wants to help even a beginner catch fish not just take your money.

Sept 10, 2021: my 2 sons and i went out with Capt Jeff on his charter. we told him we hoped to catch mahi.. and we did!! 13 beautiful fish!! he is very knowledgable, funny, and patient.. we had a great time and highly reccomend Catch em All charters.. he even filleted and bagged our catch!!!  thank you Jeff, we will see you again!!

Our family was down in Marathon for vacation and fished with Captain Jeff four days. Each trip we fished for something different, and each trip we had a fantastic time! Captain Jeff is extremely knowledgeable showed us four days full of catching! From the bay to the gulf to the ocean, he knows his stuff! Our family is quite comfortable in the water, on the boat and fishing in general so we typically have high standards, but Captain Jeff greatly exceeded our expectations. From fishing in protected waters catching over 8 different species in an hour, to snagging an African pompano and amberjacks, to even catching 8+ foot sharks, we had an absolute blast fishing in all different waters for a wide variety of species. We even had the amazing experience of witnessing a Goliath grouper come up to the surface to snag a 3 foot shark we had on the line! For that experience alone, our time fishing was spectacular! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable captain with a beautiful boat who will show you all the sport fishing The Keys have to offer, I can’t recommend Captain Jeff and Catch ‘Em All Charters enough!

Scheduled a trip four months in advance, with a deposit. Captain Jeff called us the night before, to confirm he was taking us out the next day, and hadnt called us sooner, because he was getting his emergency passport, for a Costa Rico vacation. The next day, he called and cancelled while we were on our way, because he was sick. He then confirmed we would receive our deposit back. 16 days later, we still do not have our refund, which he says he submitted. Peek, his booking company, confirmed with us that he DID NOT submit a refund, and emailed him on our behalf, to initiate a refund.While communicating with him through text, he got rude because I accidentally called him, when trying to call Peek, saying Calling Peek will not do anything. He then went on to continue getting rude, called me to yell and cuss at me, and talk about how yes, he was working on his vacation, but the weather was bad that day, so why does it matter? The weather was not bad; we ended up on a different boat within 30 minutes, and what does the weather matter, if he was sick .... He continued to text me, after asking me to stop texting him, and saying he blocked me, to argue with me, and call me crazy.Finally, after going through all of this, he emailed Peek to process the refund (Which he later threatened to again not give, and told me to sue him, because of this review).EDIT: After posting this review, he then AGAIN texted me, trying to make me feel bad for sharing our experience.8/10/21 - Refund Received.In response to companies response:8/21/21 -I do not wish to argue further, but I do want to correct some inaccuracies in yoir response.1. I did not call the day before our trip for a confirmation; my Husband did, who you called back later.2. I called you the Saturday two weeks after that, asking about the refund. You said you would call Peek, and let me know. I thanked you for your time, which you then texted me, to show you thought you had placed it, and would check again ASAP.3. I called Peek later that afternoon, to check on the refund myself, as I had the time. I did, unfortunately, call you first, by mistake, before reaching Peek, as your email was listed in their receipt, and I read it wrong. You then messaged me that “Calling Peek won’t do anything.” I said “it will if I can confirm the refund, and can let you know I have confirmed, and can wait.”4. You then got argumentative, you called ME, instantly ranting. When I tried to speak, you yelled “DON’T TALK OVER ME”, which I can confirm, as you texted and apologized for that later. At that point, I did become angry, and started yelling back.5. You then threatened again to not give the refund.6. My Husband never spoke with you after the day the trip was cancelled. He spoke to Peek on the phone, and through email. You then had your web admin call Him, three days later, to ask again to remove our review, as it made his job harder.I’m not sure why you are spreading inaccuracies, but if anyone needs verification we have saved all text messages, and phone logs, in regard to this situation.

I own my own boat and have been fishing for over 40 years, but still learn more from Captain Jeff! Very informative and very helpful Captain.

Captain Jeff put us on fish almost instantly!All six of us caught more than our fill. Ive been on a few charters and none of them came close to what we experienced with Catch-em-all. It was one epic fishing trip!!!If I find my way back to Marathon I will be calling Captain Jeff again.

Awesome time fishing caught several tarpon, a few jacks, and a big cobia right before we left. Very professional, down to earth, goes where the fish are, and knows what they want. We will be going back again !!

My husband and I had the best time with Captain Jeff. He truly put us on the fish. Everytime we dropped a line in the water, we hooked up.We caught nurse shark, black nose shark, 8-10 barracuda, countless yellow tail, mutton, and blue runners.A mackerel jumped out of the water and INTO THE BOAT. The craziest thing the three of us have ever seen.10 out of 10, highly recommend.Already planning another trip!

I have used Capt Jeff for two different trips. The first when I took our oldest son, then 13, and most recently our youngest, at 14. Despite windy conditions on both trips that prevented us from going off-shore, Jeff made sure that we caught lots of fish inside the reef. Not only that, he taught both sons how to bait their hooks with the various live bait that we used. And he was very patient with them.

We had a great day on the water. Caught plenty of fish and kids had a blast. Captain Jeff was great at teaching and letting kids learn what to do. Will definitely come back again next year

Wow, what an exceptional experience my sons and I had fishing with Catch Em All Sportfishing! It was immediately clear that Jeff is vastly experienced and a true professional. He tailored our charter to exactly what we wanted to catch and then made it happen. We caught more tuna that we could keep and had a great time doing it. We could not be happier with the day we spent with Jeff and his operation and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing charter out of Marathon Key.

On our recent family vacation we chartered this boat for 4 half day trips. We caught fish ever day and were successful in catching our targeted fish every day. We caught over 20 different species of fish. Captain Jeff was so nice to all of our family and made sure that we all had a good time. I highly recommend Catch’em All Sportfishing. We plan to come back in the spring and we will definitely be calling Capt. Jeff to book more trips.

Fished today with Jeff, it was incredible. From the get go we had fish on. Amongst several boats we were the only boat to catch Tarpon, then we caught Amberjack. Landing one over 80lbs. Then he sight fished permit. It was amazing. Simply the best, dont settle, book him if you are coming down!

What a great experience on Jeff’s boat today. Caught 2 tarpon in the morning as well as some big amber jack in the afternoon. Jeff does a phenomenal job of getting you on quality fish. I would highly recommend Catch ‘Em All to anyone that wants a great fishing experience.

Jeff took us on a great trip today. We had quantity, quality (good ones for dinner) and variety. He taught us some great fishing skills for the Keys and even how to prep the fish for freezing.Jeff has excellent people skills and made the day fun.Overall, it was a great day and I would highly recommend Jeff for a Keys fishing trip!

Spent the day with Captain Jeff and on a day when 4 other charter captains got skunked, he got me hooked up on 4 nice tuna. The man works hard and is a pleasure to spend time with.

Put us on the fish

Another great day on the water with Captain Jeff Shellar. I’ve fished twice with friends and coworkers this time I brought my wife and two teen sons who have zero boating or ocean fishing experience. Jeff knocked it out of the park once again. Lots of keepers and tons of FUN. We are already planning a summer trip.

Capt Jeff loves to fish and can put you on them. Good teacher, if you follow his guidance and the fish are there you will catch them!

Came down to marathon and did two charters with Captain Jeff. Both were great days on water. First trip even in less but perfect conditions put us on the fish and kept us there. Tons of snapper fillets for dinner. Few days later caught plenty of blue runner, yellowtail, snapper, and more then went out deep landed two Amberjack! Great time, great Capt., great music on his boat too! would recommend and will be back again.

West fishing with Jeff and took my wife and daughter, because we were having a problem catching keepers on our boat. Jeff was honest and fair from the get go. He recommended a 3/4 day versus full day, because the fish would stop biting later in the day. We wanted to get Mahi, and after a long ride out, Jeff got us a nice school. Landed 4 and then had a hard time finding other schools. Instead of just wasting time, Jeff saw a large school of Tuna, and got us on some really nice size tuna. We landed 8 just from that school. We could have got more in, but he spotted a floater in the ocean and went over to see if we could get some more Mahi. Sure enough we landed the biggest ones of the day from that. Ended up with 10 Mahi. Jeff was knowledgeable and welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely use him again for out next trip.

Party of Three went out for the offshore / tuna trip. Captain Jeff makes every effort to accommodate your trip, we would have limited but for the few that got away..

On November 13th we went fishing with Capt Jeff on the Catch Em All. AS an avid fisherman from Jensen Beach, it was obvious that Jeff is a true professional. Top of the line poles, reels and tackle. The fishing was incredible, we caught yellow-tails, mangrove snapper, mutton snappers. Oh did I mention hog fish? Best charter weve ever taken.

Didn’t actually get a chance to fish with him due to weather but he kept in contact with me all day and hooked me up with a another captain for later in the week. Really nice and honest, definitely plan to book next visit.

We went down to the Keys for a quick anniversary trip and got synced up with Captain Shelar for a 1/2 day fishing trip! He did not disappoint and I’m glad we chose him to take us out! We caught 50+ fish (15 different species) and took us out to catch some bigger fish where my husband hooked a 80 lb amberjack! We are not salt water fishers at all and we found Captain Shelar so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. We are already planning another trip to come down and fish multiple days very soon! I would highly recommend Catch Em All for your fishing experience whether you’re a beginner or have been salt water fishing all your life.... he knows his stuff and will not disappoint!
