Captain Buddy took our family of four fishing for a half a day in tough fishing conditions and still managed to put us on some fish. He was a great guide that was easy to talk to and was very patient fishing with kids. We will fish with him again if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend!

Charter fishing with Captain Buddy was a great father-son experience. We did a 4 hour morning charter. He is very patient with limited experience anglers. Expert knowledge of the area and shares that with his customers. This is money well spent and must do when vacationing in the Keys. Very laid back booking and its like talking to a family member when you set up your itinerary. We were also pleased at his timeliness in getting back to us when we booked our trip. Other area Captains we tried we never got a response or were difficult to deal with. Again cant say enough good things about this business.

Great Half Day Fishing with Captain Buddy. First time weve fished with Buddy and we will look for a time to go back. Super nice person who was not only patient and helpful but tried to teach all of us how to do things on our own. First a little background. I believe that your enjoyment of an excursion with Captain Buddy depends on your expectations. I am not a hard core fisherman but I have done more than a little salt water fishing both on my own boat and on party boats and on private charters.My trip with Captain Buddy was on an overcast day in March, some breeze and not too hot.The good: Captain Buddy is great. Warm personality, friendly and clearly he knows his stuff. We went to several spots and had luck at each. He is extremely helpful. This was my first time fishing in Florida and I was thankful for his expertise.The not so good: perhaps a better way to say it is that there are things that I would prefer. The boat is a little small for 5 miles away from shore. Not that its unsafe but theres no awning or shade on the boat - I was happy the day was overcast - and there is no head on the boat. It made it difficult for the mixed crowd in my group. But for the right group with the right expectations this is a good choice.

We had an awesome time with Buddy! It was my first time salt water fishing (3rd time for my husband) and he did not disappoint us. We actually had to reschedule our trip due to weather and he was able to get us in before we left the Keys. We caught so many varieties of fish in so many different areas. He is highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!!

Thouroughly enjoyed our time with Captain Buddy. Highly professional, excellent knowledge of fish and waters. Great person to spend time with. And, most important, we caught fish. Hooking into a 75lb Tarpon, watching this beautiful animal jump high out of the water was thrilling. We’ll definitely take our next Charter with Captain Buddy.

My wife and I went shallow water fishing for Snapper with Buddy. Could not have had a better time. Knows the fishing around Marathon Key better than anyone after 40 years. We hit a number of spots and ended with lots of fish in the well. Felt like we’d been fishing with him for years. Lots of laughs and fun. He’s the only one we’ll use when we’re in the Keys.

Great full day of fishing with Capt Buddy. Kept us on the bite all day. From Mackeral to Snapper as well as 2 black tip sharks, a nurse shark and a lemon shark. Price was very fair. 30 + years of fishing experience in the keys.Also super nice guy. Great stories and super patient. Can’t wait to do it again.

Fished a full day this past Saturday with Captain Buddy and my two sons and it was an awesome day. Buddy could not have been a more welcoming, kind, knowledgeable and friendly partner for the day and we enjoyed the 8 hours immensely with him. We were successful in each spot he took us to, whether it was pulling in a big tarpon, many Spanish mackerel, mutton snapper, or the other fish we hooked on our adventure.I would recommend Buddy to anyone who is interested in a day on the water, young or old. He helped make memories that will last a lifetime and we are grateful for it.

Capt. Buddy was everything we were hoping for in a charter fishing trip. We booked him for a half day, and we went well into the early afternoon before coming back - he was very generous with his time. With over 40 years experience fishing the Keys, he adjusted his fishing strategy based on the water conditions, and after a slow start we started reeling in fish after fish - by the end of the day we had so much fish for the weeks dinners that we started releasing our catches back to the sea. He was friendly and patient with a couple of inexperienced guys, full of stories and flowing conversation. We will definitely look him up when we return.

My wife Cheri and I went on a 3/4 day fishing charter with Captain Buddy and had an absolute blast. We caught Spanish mackerel, snapper, sea trout, plus many other types of fish, and a four or more foot black tip shark. If you are in the Keys look no farther. He has thirty years of experience and knows how to put you on fish.

My wife myself and Parents came down to visit the Keys and was able to book a half day charter with Buddy. There is not a more entertaining and knowledgable fisherman out there! Buddy was full of different tricks of the trade and was able to lay a good amount of fish across the deck. If you are looking for a great fishing expierence to learn and not just put fish in the boat or just put fish in the boat Buddy is your guide!
