Had a wonderful experience here! The place was very clean and the staff was kind. I had a manicure and pedicure and both were done wonderfully! The prices are good for the quality you get. So very impressed and will definitely be going back!

This is the nicest nail salon I’ve ever been in! I was offered water, tea, and wine. I walked in on a busy Saturday morning and they got me in right away for a shellac mani and pedi. Both technicians did a great job! My pics are from 3 days after service. Very happy and will be back!

I don’t write reviews often, but definitely have to recognize this salon for the incredible quality dip nail manicures. They have such an enormous selection of high quality dip powders. My set usually lasts an entire month with no lifting - amazing retention. I have been to other salons before where my sets will crack after 1.5 weeks... never again. Service is impeccable and salon is SO clean. Would 100% recommend trying their dip manicures here or any service.

I feel like the service here is hit or miss. Ive only ever done pedicures here and cannot comment on their other services. Ive had one really great pedicure here, and three other pedicures that are just so so, Ive done the signature pedicures each time, and, considering the prices, they should be fantastic pedicures. The one pedicure that was great the technician did great massage and callous removal, which is usually what Im wanting most out of a pedicure. The other three times, hardly any callous removal, scrubbing or exfoliating at all, and the massage was so-so. When I have to come home and do more callous scrub as follow up, thats disappointing.Their studio is clean, they are always on time, and the technicians are friendly.

Very cool place with neat modern look and feel. Spacious inside and clean. Staff was pretty friendly. Booking appt online was pretty simple and easy. Love the prices! Got full acrylic set with coffin shape and normal nail polish for $40 even! Cant beat that! And look how beautiful they turned out!

I was going to come here for my sisters birthday but when I called in advance to make changes to my reservation, they gave me a hard time for it. Apparently it really inconvenienced them that my sister wanted a fill and not a shellac manicure, like planned. The woman on the phone made me feel bad for making her change around the schedule to accommodate this change. Apparently only certain people do certain things - who knew. Then, when I asked if they did mimosas with the manicures/pedicures (since that’s what we wanted to celebrate my sisters birthday) the lady had no idea what I was talking about. When I explained what it was, she said oh yea - if you spend over $40 you get a mimosa. I said okay, is it possible to purchase a glass if we don’t meet the $40 requirement? Her response was ‘no, this isn’t the bar.’The vibe and the tone I received from the receptionist made me reconsider going so I canceled my appointment. Bummer, as it looked like a really nice place. But when the customer service isn’t very accommodating or welcoming, it changes everything.

I had my nails done by the owner/manager of a different salon in Maple Valley that I will not name and they messed up my acrylic set so badly that they had lifted after only a week and were completely misshapen. The woman who did my nails at Ascend was so good and took the time to fix my nails. They turned out beautifully and she was so friendly and professional. You could tell she cared about the end product of her work. I will definitely be returning for all my nail needs.

So far so good.I just had a gell fill-in with acrylic nail polish on the top. The service was fast (45 minutes total), everyone in the lounge is wearing a mask, which makes me feel safe on the one hand. On the other hand I was asked to wear a mask while being served a cup of tea. Not sure how these 2 things work together 😅🤷.Quality wise the products are great. The quality of work is fine as well. I do see some minor issues with the edges, so I will keep monitoring if my nails start to look off in couple of weeks.But so far I liked this place and will recommend it to my friends. Ill upload the photos of my nails in 2 weeks to compare 😊.

Had a great experience! I am 9 months pregnant, and needed some TLC before the baby is born. They took care of me, and were extremely warm and inviting.I would definitely go again, it’s a little spendy, but well worth the cost!

A very nice salon! I’ve only gotten acrylics and fills, and they do a great job every time. Leslie was the last tech to do my nails and they turned out perfect! She will double check that the length and shape is correct which I appreciate. At other salons I’ve had acrylics break off, but haven’t had it happen when I get them done at Ascend!

Best nail salon I have ever been to. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff are super friendly. I love how they offer you tea with your pedicures or wine with pedicures $40 or more. My kids enjoyed this place. I will only be coming to this salon for now on

New salon, nicely decorated. Friendly staff. I had a manicure and pedicure. Gel manicure lifted after a week, so I was a bit disappointed. Pedicure was good.

4 1/2 ⭐. This place was fabulous!!! Was able to get me in for a last-minute fill and color change after Christmas, and I couldnt have been happier. My only reason for removing half a star was because it got lost that I wanted some excess acrylic putty filed off (from a previous salon) but thats ok. I rarely do red and pink, but I love how this one turned out!! Worth every cent. I really liked how the salon was set up, very roomy but stylish. This was shortly after they first opened, but I never felt rushed at all.

I love it here. I always have the best experience. True service thats clean with talented technicians who care about the end product and customer happiness 😊

First time here today- my friends and I LOVED our pedicures. We got the signature, it was very relaxing and everyone was very nice. I was so impressed with the facility. It’s super clean, open, and comfortable. We will be returning for sure

I tried this place for the first time today. The nail technician was very rough, even after me telling her several times she was hurting me. She barely looked at me or talked to me even when addressed. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Nice looking place but after $110, and rude service, not going back.

The salon looks nice and they are really good about cleanliness and social distancing. My cousin and I went there regularly for three fills spaced 2-3 weeks apart (at close to $60 each, $120 a visit for the two of us). I will never go back. Less than a week after our last fill both our nails started peeling away from the acrylic at the tip. When it started getting so bad it would catch my hair and cause me pain I reached out to them only to be told that was normal and I waited too long. (Please note theres not a whole lot of grow out from my cuticle in the attached pic.) They offered me a 20% discount to come back and try again. But maintained that it was my fault so apparently they were just trying to be nice. Friends of the internet- thats not normal and its not my fault and I would not recommend their services.

Our first visit was fantastic. Great basic pedi. Second and third visits have been average at best. Sometimes the cuticle work is great but not the massage, or vice-versa. Good enough, but not consistently great.

Had a pedicure during COVID. Good social distancing here and they take your temp when you come in. The salon is nice and open, beautiful decor. My regular polish is still on weeks later, but not much was done in terms of exfoliation. A little pricey for me, Ive had pedicures that were the same quality for less.

The shop is bigoted. They do not serve people with disabilities. They flat out told me I was a liability because of my asthma.In Response: I absolutely confirm it was the Maple Valley location (across the street directly behind Safeway attached to the Ascend apartment complex). I will never forget the humiliation and intolerance I experienced.

Amazing place. Gorgeous inside. So many different colors, very skilled nail techs and the place is EXTREMELY clean and they follow COVID rules/cleanliness perfectly. They have plexiglass dividers between each table and between you and the nail tech. Very kind and polite and for what they offer, the prices are amazing. Always leave happy and feeling good about my acrylic nails and pedicure.

I got dip powder ombre nails and theyre stunning! Theyre not quite as ombre as the swatches showed but theyre beautiful and she did an excellent job shaping my nails.I gave them 4 stars because the cost was somewhat high from my experience with nail salons, and the suggested tip amounts were crazy (20%, 30%, and 40%).Aside from the cost, theyre not super personable. Of course, some people just want to get their nails done and leave (me), but if you like a really talkative, social-sesh with your nail tech this isnt the place.

I tried this salon because it looked appealing, my first visit was nice but the last two were not. 2nd visit the attendant was very aggressive and the pedicure was painful, the 3rd visit the attendant was very rushed. I will be going back to my old salon.

I had a full set of acrylics done with the cuticle treatment as well. Tracy did an INCREDIBLE job. She is an artist! The lounge is clean and beautiful as well as professional and welcoming. The social distancing was handled respectfully. My nails look outstanding, like Ive never had done before anywhere else. And the flower infused oil pur on my cuticles at the end is amazing and smells heavenly. Highly highly recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone!

Its clean, theres plenty if employees ready for walk-in, they are friendly, lots of colors to choose from, and who doesnt love be wine when being pampered! I received a shellac acrylic fill. It is a little more $ then other places, but you get what you pay for. I go three weeks in-between and dont usually have issues. Tracey is awesome.

Walked in for pedicure and was immediately seated. All the staff was friendly and courteous. Had Ben the first time and Kristen this time. Both did a great job. Very clean and all covid precautions were followed.

If you are local to the Maple Valley area, Ascend Nail Lounge is the safest and best salon! I’ve been to Ascend just about a handful of times and always leave with my needs met. I don’t usually walk in but often make my appointments 30-90min before I need to be there and they usually find the time to take me.I’ve done this elsewhere and end up waiting, this is not the case here. The time you arrive is the time you are seen. They definitely value punctuality.Considering the current state of the world, Covid Pandemic, they pulled out all the stops and more to protect themselves and us as customers. Temperature checks, contact tracing, Gloves, masks, plexiglass dividers between you and the technician, as well as between you and the chair next to you.Aside from this, let’s talk services and service. They are punctual, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to. Ascend offers Mani’s, Pedi’s, shellac, dip powder, acrylic, and tiers of each service. Standard, collagen, and paraffin treatment. They also offer waxing which I just did for the first time here and I’m so pleased! While you receive your service, if you are thirsty, they have green tea, water, and for the days you really need to unwind...wine!Can’t stress enough how happy you’ll be after your first visit, you’ll never look back.

I really like this salon. You have to come check it out! I have had no issues at all. They do exactly what you ask for and are also consistent. That is super important to me. I have been to many different nail salons and thought (Yes!!!) I found my girl finally and then to my disappointment she would be inconsistent. 🙄 Sometimes way too wide or thick them I would get a good visit. That being said.... This salon is consistent, professional, clean, timely and I could go on. Thank you Ascend Nail Lounge for coming to our neighborhood!

I am quite picky about quality nail salons and Ascend has found themselves at the top of my list. I appreciate the hard work and attention to detail put in on my wifes nails. The environment is very pleasing and the atmosphere is all good vibes and posh nails.

This is a wonderful nail salon and my service was fantastic. I got a shellac pedicure. Kristen is great and I will most definitely be scheduling more appointments. They provide such a relaxing atmosphere.

Best nail salon in Maple Valley! I’m super picky with my nails, I have acrylics and go religiously every 2 weeks but have been commuting to Renton for a good manicure because the two salons across the street (looking at you Bellismo and Tip n Toe) are trash. Ascend nails was super clean and professional, all techs were in their uniform and were all super sweet. My tech was Quinn and she gave me the best fill I’ve ever had, paid close attention to detail and really took her time and made sure I liked them after each step. Prices were very fair, especially for the quality you’re getting.Highly recommend and I can’t wait to come back!

Not the greatest service. Made an appointment 2 days before and going in for my appointment they said they could only do 1 service per customer. I wanted a full set and pedicure. So I decided to do the full set with shellac. The lady that did my nails would not listen to what I wanted. They are longer than I wanted and every time I told her that I wanted them shorter she would moan and groan. Very unhappy with my service.

Waited 30 min after my scheduled appointment and when I tried to leave because it was taking too long the guy at the front desk wouldn’t let me leave and told me to go sit down because they were ready (even though the nail tech was still busy with another client and obviously not ready) made me uncomfortable!!

Not impressed. Couldn’t reach them by phone and when I went in they would book me for a later date for both a manicure and pedicure but won’t guarantee they would do both??? What?! That is very odd and not worth my time.
