I love Shawna I can’t say enough good things about her. She always knows how to do my hair best. She’s a more experienced stylist. She’s not always super talkative which I view as a good thing. Don’t get me wrong she’s personable and friendly but she’s not talking you’re ear off the entire time. I think it’s nice just to be able to relax while I get my hair done look at my phone or magazines or kinda zone out. Shawna is good with color too I have bright red hair. She’s creative and talented and super nice. I highly recommend her. I used to do paid hair shows modeling so I know a good stylist when I encounter one. She also gives nice messages during your appointment like a head massage during your shampoo. I usually just show her a photo of something I like and she creates it. Shawna is the best 💜💜

My stylist took the time to really listen to my husband and me to help us get what we wanted and needed for our hair. She was knowledgeable, kind, and explained ways to help address my thinning hair. I unfortunately had an awful experience here.Ava was my hairstylist. I’ve never met her before, & when I called to schedule the apt I made sure to tell them, that I have very thick curly, red hair. & I would like to be scheduled with someone who has had experience with my type of hair. I also said, I would need to be booked with xtra time, because of how long/thick my hair is.Mind you, I haven’t gotten my hair done in 2+ years.I went in to get blonde highlights. Nothing new, I’ve gotten my hair highlighted many times before.Because I haven’t gotten my hair done in 2+ years, my red hair was fully grown in & very healthy. I did have some split ends, but besides that my hair was in a very healthy state.My apt was scheduled for 4pm. Ava brought my back to her chair, & told me what she was going to do.She started putting bleach foils in around 4:15- now it’s 8pm & the foils are still in my hair.She told me they “stopped processing” so it’s not damaging my hair. Yeah no.She took the first foils out at 8pm, & they’re closing.She’s running around to finish washing my hair.We get back to the chair & I notice she’s struggling to get a comb through it. I’m trying not to freak out. It’s now 8:30-8:45. I left the salon with knotted, wet, un-styled hair. I tipped her in cash, over 20%.We scheduled an apt for the following week.I went home & I wasn’t able to get a comb through my hair. I tried to wash it, & it was dry. It wouldn’t absorb any water. & was coming out in clumps.I immediately call & leave a voice mail.They get back to me & I go in.Ava was soooo extremely rude. She sat me down in the first chair, & told me she really couldn’t see what was wrong because it wasn’t wet?...I told her my ends were extremely damaged & her cutting off 5plus inches of hair, I shouldn’t be seeing split ends. She proceeded to tell me she didn’t cut off all my dead ends? She wouldn’t take responsibility for anything. I scheduled a follow up apt with her to go through my hair, I left crying. As I’m leaving, she runs out with 2 tiny samples of shampoo & conditioner. Lol. It was so bad.Luckily, I have a very good friend named JENNA, who works at reflect salon, the Plymouth location.I contacted Jenna, sent her pictures of my hair & she immediately took action.She scheduled me an appointment with her right away, & contact ava & the manger from the maple grove salon & had a sit down meeting with them to go over the damage that Ava caused to my hair.Jenna was able to get me 2 free hair treatments, an aveda hair mask, & half of my money back.Jenna saved the day. Jenna is actually still trying to fix my hair. We have made progress, but no thanks to Ava.Now this was in oct of 2020. It’s now July of 2021, & I am still dealing with this. I have spent thousands of dollars on hair product, to fix Avas mistake.I will never return to reflect salon in maple grove. The damage that Ava caused to my hair, is irreversible.My hair is so thin now, because of all the hair that I have lost due to the bleach & the knots.I was very close to losing my natural curl from the bleach as well. I felt depressed, & extremely hopeless.I’m very thankful for JENNA & the Plymouth location for all her help. She advocated for me like no other, & she is still helping me get my hair back to a good state.If you want great service, & to be treated with kindness & respect head over to the Plymouth reflect salon & ask for Jenna. She will do you right!

I made an appointment back in February through the phone which was brief and easy. The person I was talking to asked if I have ever been to any of their salon, which I have not, and gave me a couple of hair stylists that were open for same day appointments.I forgot the name of my stylist but she had just recently started at Reflect Salon but had been in the business for over 10+ years. She did a great job at giving me recommendation and advice for my hair but let me decide what I wanted to do. Overall the experience and comfort was great. Thank you!

Stylist Name: AvaI brought my 4 year old sister here for a deep condition because her hair is so nappy and dry when we see our stylist she does not talk very quiet we get into washing her hair and first she gets water in my 4 year sisters eyes like not paying no type of attention or something and then she’s starts complaining about its hot I feel the water it is hot indeed I asked the lady if she could make it warmer which she did but I felt as if it bothered her or something then when she is done washing her it still looks the same nappy and frizzing I have got a deep condition before also and it did not look still the same as before I it was washed (.not here) when we come back to the chair she’s still quiet as can be no talking nothing complete silence after she cut her hair it looked okay we also asked if she could blow dry it straight she told us idk the store closed at 5 she still did it for us but after it was done it looks like a complete messsss she could have lifted it how it was if I knew she was gonna mess her hair all up I don’t recommend this place to no one and we will be finding a different place to go and plus this was our first time never again

This Salon Is not for people with Asian skin and hair. They don’t know how to work on dark hair. They literally messed my hair during my last visit. I asked them to do one shade lighter highlights on my dark brown/black hair. She literally did 3 shade lighter very thick blond highlights on my Hair and literally made me clown. When asked her to tone them down to only one shade lighter the she reversed them to my original hair color and I end I paying $ 161 For just all over color. It was so disappoint when you spend 3 hours and huge chunk of money at saloon and end up getting what you could have done at home with $ 10 boxed color.

I have been going here for two years now. Every time Erica cuts and highlights my hair, I get many compliments from work friends and even my husband. I love Aveda products and the wonderful scents. It is a well run and clean salon with a warm welcome. I have been very happy with my hair styles ever since I have been with Erica. Thanks!

I visited this salon as a last minute cry for help - my hair was completely botched from a different salon. It looked like my head was dunked in a bucket of bleach. I was scheduled with Ava and I can’t begin to explain how amazing she was. She listened attentively to what I was trying to achieve and did a flawless job in helping me get exactly what I wanted. The scheduling coordinator on the phone was phenomenal in trying to get me in same day due to my circumstances and the front desk ladies at the salon were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The entire appointment was more than I could have asked for - Ava was so gentle and took her time to ensure everything turned out. The complementary coffee/tea and chair massage was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be returning and I’m glad to have found a new hair stylist. Thank you Ava!!

Wow, this experience with Abby at the Plymouth, MN location was beyond top notch! I got in last minute on a Sunday and when I arrived she was on schedule, so that was nice. After going over the look I was trying to achieve, I received a brief head and neck message with some type of oil, and then when getting my hair shampooed I received a hand massage too. It was so relaxing! I enjoyed my overall conversation with her while she did my hair. She was very pleasant to he around. When I left i was extremely satisfied with my hair. The best haircut Ive had in years. I already have my next apt booked! :)

My hair is long, coarse and thick, but Mindy always does a fantastic job getting the perfect amount of layers so that it looks good and easy to maintain. Started going here about a year ago to get a cleaner look for a wedding I was in. They recommended Ashley Rae and have been going back to her ever since. Definitely would recommend making an appointment. She is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. I’m really happy with how Ava cut my hair- it was really dead at the ends and she helped me figure out what I wanted when I wasn’t sure. My hair ended up getting really tangled from the shampooing and she was super patient trying to get the knots out. Everyone was very friendly and helpful!

I was a walk in appointment. I didnt really know what hairstyle I wanted. I gave Bridget a basic idea of what I was looking for and I really love how it turned out. Bridget is very creative and friendly, I recommend her! The atmosphere here is very clean with very professional service and great prices.

They messed up my hair !!!! They messed it up so bad after spending 300$.... I cry every time I see it. Can’t do anything but wait for it to grow back. They left hair dye in my hair and was very rude when I called them to ask them about it. Don’t spend any of your money here!!!!! Stay far away.

Was looking for a new fun color and Crystal Beckman was amazing. She did a thorough consult prior to starting. Also, the scalp massage and back massage were amazing! The color turned out beautiful. I cant wait to go back.

I went in for a hair cut and hair smoothening process. The haircut was, I would say ‘so-so’ not too great. I don’t know what they did for my hair smoothening, it hasn’t lost the waves or frizz at all! Plus my hair smells funny all the time! I ended up spending a ton for something that either wasn’t done correctly or didn’t work at all! The person who did the smoothening process was probably not sure how to do it, she asked others if the hair was supposed to be washed or not. I will not recommend this place to anyone. It was a waste of time and money! Very, very disappointed. Never going back there again, will try some other place.
