As a male with very thick curly hair, I have always had trouble finding a haircut that did not require the reassurance that it will look better after it grows out... that Ive had at far too many budget salons.Instead, I had the best salon experience Ive ever had here.While waiting for my stylist, I was presented with options for coffee and tea in a very nice, clean and well-lit atmosphere. The staff were as friendly as they were competent, and I came away the most satisfied Ive ever been with a haircut (and the complimentary shampoo and head-massage never hurts).Even after my stylist moved on to New York City, I still came back to this place because every stylist here has an incredible amount of skill and, even better, will listen to what you want.

Ive been going to New Concepts since before it was New Concepts--close to 20 years now. It is always a great time, friendly and fun! I have referred many, many friends to New Concepts and will continue to do so in the future!

I have been going to see Anna here for the majority of the past year and I have absolutely no complaints; she is fabulous!! I have long, SUPER THICK hair and LOTS of it and I always worry about trying a new stylist, but Anna was super patient and went into details with me before actually touching my hair to be sure we were on the same page. I have gotten my hair colored/highlighted and cut once every couple of months and each time I leave feeling awesome and 110% happy with the service I received. As mentioned before, with as much hair as I have, salon visits can be extremely pricey, but at New Concepts Salon I feel they are super reasonable for the quality of the service you will receive. I refer all of my friends and family to her and highly encourage you to go see her!

First time there and everyone was really nice. They give a new client discount too. The shampoo with scalp massage was heavenly :)

Great salon! Lisa has been cutting my hair for years and does a fabulous job. Everyone on staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the location is convenient. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Came to this salon because of the rave reviews, but I was rather disappointed. The receptionist didn’t seem to know what was going on and was rather short with me. Took awhile before I was even greeted. There wasn’t a lot of seating in the waiting area, which allowed me to get nice and close to a stranger...awkward! Then onto my haircut—the lady talked too much, and didn’t focus much on my hair. Seemed like she was in a rush. Didn’t like my haircut when I came home and looked in the mirror. I don’t think I’ll be returning here.

Amy at NCS did my hair for the first time - I couldnt love it more. So many compliments. She knew exactly how to style my hair for my face shape.

I visited this salon a few weeks ago having never been there before. Over all first impression was that it was cute and looked clean. Friendly ladies at the front desk.The music is like being in an elevator. I was offered a few drink choices and chose tea which was nice. The hair dresser I was scheduled with was nice and listened to my concerns about a previus cut id received somewhere else. Everyhting seemed fine until she washed my hair and there was barely warm water. She tried to glaze over the issue and I asked her to turn it up and she apologized over and over and finished quickly. Her cut was great, and the rest of the experience was fine. The girl who cut my hair was professional and friendly. Will not be returning though because of the lack of hot water. Its a shame, the rest of the service from er was great.

Had a lovely pedicure for a good price here.
