This was my first time the salon, everybody was so friendly and so kind. Karen is awesome. I dont know how she figured out what I wanted from what I said but I walked out with the haircut I wanted. I love it!

This is a quite, professional salon that is immaculate! I love that I can book an appointment online and see all my options before choosing the right time for me. Lindsey was friendly but didnt chat the entire time which allowed me to relax. Perfect! Love my cut-will be back for sure.

I would give Salon Venustas and Julia more than 5 stars! I recently moved to CT and needed to find a salon. I decided to try SV because they use Goldwell color, and I selected Julia because of her bio and some of her specialties. I can only say that they exceeded my expectations. I came in for a consult only and felt like Julia understood my hair, and I liked her approach, so decided to make an appointment. Julia squeezed me in right then--which was great because I was really overdue. SV is a really nice salon--spacious, very clean, great vibe, and everyone is friendly. But Julia... She is amazing! I feel so fortunate that I decided to try this salon. I found my salon and my stylist on the first try! I wont let anyone but Julia take care of my hair now. Thank you SV and Julia!!!

Lauren is always fabulous. She listens to what you want, but makes sure that whatever it is is suitable for your hair. My hair has never looked better.

Today was my first time at Venustas salon and it was an amazing experience. My hair is thick and dark and I wanted a light toned balayage. Sarah patiently and professionally did exactly what I wanted.

I feel very fortunate and grateful that Karen took me in as a new client when I called during a break in her schedule. First off, Karen is bedazzling & radiates positive energy. She took time to analyze what was going on, got my input, gave hers, suggested finding a pic which I had and she easily pivoted to give me the style customized to my hair type. Karen is friendly and clearly loves working with hair and pleasing her clients. Thrilled to have found Karen and this long time family run salon!

Thanks to Cyndi I now have the cut, color and style Ive always wanted. She was insightful, understanding and patient. I showed her pictures of what I was trying to achieve and she NAILED IT!!!!Afterward I felt like a new woman and I walked out feeling very happy and confident. Lindsay is a very talented colorist and stylist! On my first visit she was able to achieve the exact color I desired—and it was a little complicated involving base color and foils. Highly recommend!

Salon Venustas is and has always been the best salon on the shoreline. The stylists and owner are very professional, talented and extremely friendly. They are meticulously following all the new Covid19 protocols and the salon is squeaky clean. We have been customers since moving to Madison in 1970 and we will proudly be their customers for many more years to come.I highly recommend them!

I had my hair cut and colored with Alicia and my experience was simply fantastic! :) She listened to my needs and perfectly executed. I had some trouble with my previous color turning brassy and she was able to alleviate the problem. She made my hair color natural looking again and my cut is amazing. Sarah did a Kerasilk Express for me and I am astounded by the results; my frizzy hair has never looked better. It is smooth and shiny. Sarah is an incredibly talented stylist.
