They took care of me last minute and did a great job, especially on the pedicure!!

I really enjoy coming to get my nails did here. I am always pleased with the quality service. They remember you and ask you if you would like complimentary items while you are there. If a mistake is made they will almost always catch it before you and correct it. If they do not catch it before you they will still listen to your concerns and make sure you leave satisfied. It does not smell like strong chemicals when you walk in which I admire.I just really love going there for different services

Go anywhere else but here. They were mad I wanted the least expensive pedicure and made me wait 15 minutes even though I had an appointment. Once started, she told me to put my feet in the tub, started the water and walked away. The water was searing hot (and I like it hot!). I was unable to put my feet in. She was again annoyed when she returned. I just walked out at that point. I don’t need to pay to be badgered by a stranger. I have been there before and found the quality extremely variable. It seems they will have anyone do the pedicure - including those with no skills rather than turn someone away. The cleanliness is variable as well.

Last time we will come here! Unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude.My sister and I took my 87 y.o mother for pedicures. We made 3 appts for 1:00. We sat in our pedicure chairs for 30 min before 2 of us were started. The 3rd was started at 2:00! Meanwhile 2 ladies across from us (who were walk-ins just before us)were receiving the royal treatment (turns out they paid for a $60 ped. Vs our$45.) They had an hour and 40 min pedicure vs our 40 min.! These technicians argued in Vietnamese(rude in itself)and made us feel bad when questioning our wait saying we have to expect delays sometimes. Diane had to be told and shown how to cut my moms toenails. She kept trying to cut corners. Unbelievable! When Jenny was checking us out at 3 o’clock(2 hours after our arrival) she plucked $15 that I was holding in my hand and said oh, this is a tip for you and your mom. I said no. I proceeded to leave no tip for my pedicure. My mom/sister left a smaller than usual tip. We felt as though we shouldn’t have paid at all for such bad and unkind service! especially since there was no sincere apology (or compensation offered). Another customer in The salon at the time said “I feel your pain, I’ve experienced this as well” We will no longer support this business and I would highly advise anyone looking for a salon to look elsewhere!

Went if for shellac mani as a walk in. Staff was accommodating and nice, however within the first 48 hours my thumb nail completely peeled off. I called and they were kind and fixed it, however the nail they fixed was smudged and polish was very unevenly applied, as well as on the a few other nails. By day 7, two additional nails have peeled or are largely chipped. I have not done anything vigorous with my hands. Partly feel that choosing shellac vs dip is to blame but the uneven coating of polish could have also contributed to the peeling and chipping of polish as the nails that had globs of polish applied are the ones peeling off like stickers. I could have better long lasting effects applying store bought polish myself and save $40. Will trying out a different nail salon to have this removed today, one week later, and will be trying the dip.

I have been coming here for the past several months and every time I am come I am greeted with a smile and given great services if something is wrong they are quick to fix and make sure you leaving looking your best I would definitely recommend and I will be coming back again

I will have to say that I don’t like speaking bad on business, but coming here was not a very good experience. First of all, some of the ladies working there didn’t even have a mask on or if they did they weren’t even covering them, they had it down. Next thing is that I’ve come twice and both times they change the prices to more and insist on using their ATM even though they accept cards, and have accepted other people’s cards in front of me. I will say that they’re work with nails is good but feels rushed and aggressive at points. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

I went for a pedicure and the woman kept trying to upsell me on a pricier package. I didnt want it so she painted my toenails poorly. The pedicure itself was nice but expect to wait, even if you have an appointment.

Over all it was a good experience. We were able to book 3 pedicures with only a 45 minute wait. They had a variety of spa treatments to choose from at a range of pricing from $35 on up. We all chose the $45 range. 1 Lavender, 2 citrus. It was very relaxing and clean. We were offered beverages and were able to have a chair massage during the pedicure. The only thing I was not happy about is the added price of $5 at the end for putting a little shimmer on my big toe. I could understand getting charged extra for a detailed flower, but not for a blob of shimmer. If I knew I was going to be charged extra, I would have opted to put shimmer on all my toes like my friend did at no extra cost. Note to the wise... verify any extra fees.

Opened early to serve me, which was really nice because I had drove 5 hours from MN to Madison. I had 3 nails that needed to be fixed and we ended up doing a full set for the same price of fixing and the fill. Very pretty spa, very relaxing, nice staff, 100% recommend

Went in for ombré dip nails. The nail tech didn’t speak very much and used a shade of pink to light it made my nails look not blended. When I expressed I didn’t love my nails. They fun of it/me and didn’t offer to change them as good customer service goes. When in the next day to get them fixed. The nail tech rushed and my nails turned out very fat and bulky. I’ve paid $45 as other salons and gotten better results and customer service! It’s too pricey I definitely didn’t receive my money’s worth. Needless to say this place lacks basic customer service big time. Would not recommend!

My nails look like my adorable five-year-old painted them. The quality is almost laughable for a professional salon.

Ive been there a handful of times and I think its time to leave a review. Everytime was fantastic! My nails are always beautifully and carefully done. The wait is never long, only a few minutes and then theyll ask if youre ready to start but they dont rush you if you havent chosen your color. They greet you when you arrive, and they seem to always make availability and not turn anyone away even if I schedule an appointment for the same day- I have not had luck with that elsewhere. They have so many design options that other salons are incapable of doing. I was so tired of paying other salons to paint on some gel polish and they could never do any other design I asked for. Here, they do whatever I ask and if you dont know what design you want, just tell them your budget and theyll come up with something fabulous!

Treated myself to a Jelly Pedi this weekend. $55.00 and they spend forever on you. Massages with different lotions and scrubs ALONG with a hot stone massage, mask with hot towel wrap, paraffin wax soak... and the fun Jelly soak!!! I was just a walk-in and was served within 10 minutes...this included the time it took me to pick from a ridiculous amount of polish shades. They will do gel polish for $20.00 extra.Only thing I would like to see is for them to offer a matte top coat option for regular polish!

Jenny and Zoe are awesome and both do a great job! They always take great care of my husband and me. They make us feel very comfortable and are very welcoming. Staff there are very rude! the lady who was doing my pedicure forgot to put the top coat!After she finished my pedicure I went home, I noticed that one of my nails didn’t have nail polish on one side then I touched it and it was still not dry. I had to come back to get it fix and When I got there I told her that she needed to fix one of my nail and she was very upset / rude 👎🏼

The best experience I’ve had in a nail salon in a very long time. Their service was excellent and professional. The staff was warm and welcoming. I can’t wait to return with my daughter when we’re due for our next pedicure.

I am not sure why you can make appts. at this place. Had an appt for 3 manicures scheduled for 2 pm. Did not start mine until 2:45 pm.

My dip has never chipped. I can go 3-3 1/2 weeks between visits. Pedicures are pricey but very thorough. I call about 10 minutes before arrival and they can always get me in with minimal wait. Great staff. Prefer cash. They have an atm on site with a $1 withdrawal fee. Not too bad. Reward system for repeat customers.

Get off of work to come to my appointment made it exactly 10 minutes late for two appointments I booked and lady told me that I cannot get my nails done or my daughters because She had gave someone else or appointments

Terrible place. I normally don’t write reviews. Told the lady there that i just wanted my eyebrows cleaned up. I normally have pretty thick bushy eyebrows. Told her atleast 5 times to not make it thin and clean the extras. Not only did she make it look like i’ve drawn my eyebrows, she also waxed with scalding hot wax and now i have burn marks all over my forehead. Worst eyebrow place ever. Would not even give it one star.

They didnt enforce the mask policy. Several customers didnt wear masks. The man doing manicures that seemed to be in charge wore his mask on his chin the whole time. I dont feel safe and wont return if this is not changed.

I’ve been going to Lotus on and off for about 10 years. Like many other nails salons, it has switched ownership a lot, however, you’d never be able to tell! The service has remained consistent and it’s GREAT quality. You can tell everyone takes pride in their work and wants you to feel good. Their list of services is extensive but reasonably priced. All the staff is warm and welcoming. I never have to wait long for services, even if I didn’t make an appointment. I would recommend you try Lotus!

Overall a great experience at Lotus, my nails and brows look great. However, I made an appointment for a Saturday and they were very busy. So busy that my appointment was pushed back, only about 10-15 min so not a huge deal, but when I told the tech I had been looking for a new salon and that I had recently moved from Eau Claire the conversation shifted.He was hounding me for waiting three weeks in between sets (a mistake on my part which I am aware of considering I have had acrylic nails for almost 4 years now) and made me feel bad about waiting rather than thanking me for giving Lotus a shot. There was little conversation and when there was it was my tech being critical of me. He knew it was my first time there and did not make a great first impression.Added on getting my brows waxed and for $12 she did a great job.I will be back but I would appreciate not feeling bad about getting my nails done, regardless of the shape my nails are in when I walk in.

Got my acrylics done here twice in a row. First time was great. Second time the tech was really rough made my finger bleed and one of the nails broke off not even 24 hours later... not coming back

I have an to find a security to an enough to be able to expand. I really like! ! ! ! The beautiful girl are beautiful and clever! I have a view of a picture and they are correct what what you need! The nails of my means is not never lookout. Perfect Selection. Will continue to return for your nails.

Zoey is my nail tech and she goes above and beyond EVERY time.. suggesting great techniques and ideas based off of concepts and colors I share with her. They are polite and willing to work you in on walk in appts too. I love it here at Lotus!

Really disappointed in this salon. I moved to the area and was stoked to find a nail salon close to my house. However, after a good first impression, every other visit had been an utterly disappointment. The second visit I wanted a specific dip powder color, which they said was available. And after it was all done, it was the wrong color. Third was incorrect application of dip powder and it was far too thick. The polish started peeling from the base of my nails within 4 days...and its supposed to last 2-3 weeks. Came in yesterday to do a color change, hoping for results similar to the first time I got them done, but no. Somehow convinced myself to try acrylics, and they look horrible. They are too thick, too rectangular, too long, and no where near what I asked for. I couldnt stay to have them fixed because I had plans, so I called and spoke to the manager (who did the acrylics) and told him that I wanted to have them fixed today. He assured me that he would be there when they open at 9:30, and now over 90 minutes later, still no manager, and my nails still look terrible. Once I get this junk off my nails and my money back, I am never coming back. No location convenience is worth accepting crappy results.

This place is disgusting. They are unprofessional, rude, lie, charge more for everything without telling you. The place is dirty. They couldnt even give me a clean towel to rest my hands on...it had someone elses nails all over it. I am so disgusted especially since they arent following Covid-19 restrictions. I explained my disappointment to them and had been a customer since the place opened but management had changed years ago and its gotten so bad. Other people were complaining about their service as well while I was there. I will not be back!

Its a nice place got a pedicure for 45+ a 10$ tip and I dont even get a design or a dryer. Will see how long paint last might change rating.

Always super happy with my nails, they were under not so good management for about a year. Now a few weeks in with new management has taken over YAHHHHHH. So happy because I love LOTUS. They are trying recreate a warm and welcoming place how is use to be prior to the past management that didn’t do a good job, now NEW MANAGEMENT is really trying to pick up the pieces that have been left and I think they are doing AMAZING. Zoe is my nails tech and kills it every time she does my nails. LOTUS is the place to go.

I did powder nails on wed, by Thursday the thumb peeled. Not a good nail job. Will not be returning and have been there about 15 times

I love Lotus. Zoe does my nails and she does so good. Sense NEW management recently took over Lotus has been really pushing to recreate the environment so you should definitely give them a shot. I am a college student do money is tight and I think it’s not cheap but not expensive. Good prices for mani, pedi, full set and all the good stuff. I have been here several times. Theyre right in my neighborhood. The work result has been mediocre at best. Now, I will never go again. Someone commented that whoever does my eyebrows messed them up. This person wasnt even working on me and said it loudly in front of other patrons. I was not wearing makeup and have a scar from a childhood accident that makes it look uneven. There have been other uncalled for comments but that was the last dig. Dont talk at all if you cant be nice!

I have never had such a horrible experience as I did from the manager. I called to book an appointment with one of the 2 guys there. I was told they are completely full. Meaning, ALWAYS! I was also told I was making them lose customers due to being late. I am never late and always come with a smile and TRY to leave with one. Lately, thats been difficult!! I was also told that I am able to just come to whoever is available. So, I asked him if that was his polite way of asking me not to return? He replied, you can come to anyone but us. Please do not go to LOTUS, absolutely horrible!!!!

Not very happy with this business. There were several children in the salon yet the had an x rated show on the television. The body parts were blurred but my 5 year old asked “what are they doing”? It was on for the entire 2 hours e we were there. Extremely inappropriate. The worker I had was rude. The one my daughter had was not patient at all even though my daughter was sitting quite still. My daughter was afraid of her

I had pedicures on 2 separate occasions, and thought they did great work, although pricey. On my third “attempt” at getting a pedicure service was so bad I WILL NOT go back. They told me it was a 2 minute wait, and after 30 minutes of waiting...I walked out. THEN they wanted to come over to get me to stay. If they would have told me the truthful wait, I would’ve left and went elsewhere. Just bad customer service and no care for others time. Horrible!

My first gel manicure at Lotus Nails Bar and Spa was THE BEST I have ever seen!!! I have been to many salons throughout [tên tp], and Ive never seen gel nails look so great for so long. For 3 weeks, they were perfect, and I kept them for a month before coming back to change colors. It sounds crazy, but Madison was that good! Now Im hooked on this place.

Came here yesterday and had a great experience. The staff here were friendly and professional. What I love is the personal atmosphere. Ill keep coming here unless I find a better place.

Went in for a fill, and a pedicure with my friend. She likes to come here, so I decided to try it out. The pedicure was mediocre at best. They charge extra for things that my regular salon includes in their pedicures. The fill/manicure was SO rushed! I had to have the guy manicurist fix a nail because it was so ugly, and bubbled up. I’ve never had that happen before. They were taking on more clients than they could handle and everyone there was complaining about being rushed. Just irritating to pay so much for a service, and then it comes out not good. I wouldn’t recommend, and I probably wouldn’t come back here either.

Love this place but way toooo expensive! They do great nails but really do over charge you!!! I paid 40 for a fill with just regular polish. Love it but never again going just because it’s so expensive

Usually good place to go and would give 4-5 stars. The last two times,customer service was poor this time. Booked a group of 3 people for pedicures and only started 2 of them at the beginning, then started the third about 25 mins later.

Lotus Nails is by far the best in Madison! Mai, Danny and the entire staff are very professional. I never have to worry about the cleanliness of the spa because it is always very clean. The Milk & Honey Pedicure is the BEST! I highly recommend that if you have not treated yourself to their services, try them today!

Horrible... Nice clean place but work is HORRIBLE... I went for my nails and feet and lights were dim so nails and feet looked ok... I paid $92 and I get outside in daylight and my nails and feet looks TERRIBLE... and I dont understand how no chip polish chipped on my nail. This has never happened before.. I do not recommend anyone go there to get their nails or feet done... They dont even deserve 1 star. I will never go there AGAIN..

Took my wife and mother for a mothers day present, we were all treated great, made our apt ahead of time, and when arrived were taken care of right away. This place is clean and the techs are very good. Will be back!!

Went to this salon for the first time 9 days ago to get a no chip manicure. I did have a scheduled appointment a week in advance with my friend, we were both getting manicures and she got a pedicure also. First, we were split up so she got her toes done right away- not sure why, maybe staffing. Then I was sat at the counter and a guy who seemed to be the owner rushed me over to sit down. He filed my nails and mostly filed my fingertip/skin as he was looking all around the room the entire time. He also rushed through the manicure with no massage. When I was finished (20 min for entire no chip start to finish) there was paint all over my hand and cuticles.The worst part was he upselled me on a product to keep the no chip on longer and 9 days later they are all FALLING off- not even pulling at them, Ive never had a no chip fall off after 1 week.My friend had an even worse situation and ended up being there over 2 hours!Long story short, I will not be going back.

EDIT: I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. After ownership changed hands and my main contacts at Lotus left, we have had no less than 3 horrible experiences all around. Not only did my manicure AND pedicure chip each time, the employees, one young girl in particular, were extremely rude all around. We actually ended up leaving with smudged toes (my daughter and I) this last time, even though both of our techs saw the smudges (didnt offer to fix it, though), because I could not handle the rudeness. I have heard negative feedback all around from several others these past few months and will honestly never go back. Thats a shame because they had a loyal client in me.

This is the only place I trust to have my nails done. My technician was really sweet and made me feel very comfortable. The prices are extremely reasonable too! I plan to return again and become a regular customer.

My recent experience was not good. While I was, they rushed to get me out. My manicure took about 20 minutes, which would have been fine if it was done well. However, some nails didnt get a top coat & I didnt notice until after I left. I would have gone back, but they made me feel so unwelcome & didnt want to return. My shellac manicure lasted 4 short days. It chipped & cracked on all nails. Needless to say, it was very disappointing.

Must have been old nail polish. It smeared while I was in the salon, then they redid two of my toes. Went home with no shoes on and an hour and a half later another toe smeared. Had to go to work so could not get it redone. Throw the old polish out folks

Service is spotty at best. Was really happy the first time I went, the gentleman listened to me and did as I asked beautifully with a very original design. The second time a different guy was so rough with my nails that he injured my thumb nail which is currently in the process of regrowing because it actually fell off. I came for a full set with a design and this time the design was so... generic it wasnt worth the extra money. Very disappointed and wont be returning.
