I visit Kims Nails every two weeks to get manicure and gel polish. Na is my favorite technician, but I have used several members on staff and they are always pleasant and professional! I always get great compliments on whatever designs I choose for the visit! Highly recommend.

This was my first visit to Kims Nail Salon. Everything was perfect. All the employees worked together and took fabulous care of me. They were very professional and personable. Kims has all my business and referrals from now on. 🥰🤩

I had to ask my wife on this one because shes the one who goes. Apparently, Kims Nails is great, but it depends on who you get. She always goes to Viviane and her nails always look amazing. Shes had problems with other technicians (apparently thats what theyre called) where her nails come off, or the polish comes off a week or so after she has them done.

Employees are always great. I love the place i recommend anyone to go there. Prices are good too.

The was by far the worst nail salon I’ve ever been too. These people have unprofessional and untrained people working here. I absolutely do not recommend going here unless you just want to waste your time and money. One specific employee named Angela DO NOT let her touch your nails. She clearly doesn’t know how to do her job and will just put whatever on your nails the way she wants it weather you like it or not and when you tell her to fix something she has an attitude and storms of yelling at the customers. Very poor service and very unprofessional staff.

Vivian did an excellent job! She took the time to make sure everything was done nicely. I will definitely be back.

Na has been a marvelous technician! She is thorough, gentle, efficient, and delivers a personally delicious massage as part of the pedicure process. Although other technicians are good as well, I request Na whenever possible.

Very attentive, carefully worked around surgery on my knee. Absolutely relaxing.

I’ve been going here for about 5 yrs. Vivian does my gel manicure. She can remember different colors that I have used from years back. You want go wrong with any of the techs, they are all very professional & listen to what your needs are.

I love Kim’s and have been a customer for years. Everyone is friendly, professional and make you feel right at home. There equipment is clean and great quality! They make my nails look beautiful!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Terribly poor service. My French tips look awful. Gel has peeled off within 6 hours!! Asked for a cut down and my nails are very uneven. Did not apply a second coat of polish or let my nails sit under the gel lamp for the appropriate time. Employees acted as they were rushed even though I was one of 3 in the salon at the time. Even rushed me to put my shoes on so now my toes are missing polish! Will NEVER return!

Tech cut the bottom of 3 of my toes (2 especially bad) to the point they are bright red, scabbing over & sore to touch. When brought to the attention of the gentleman that seemed to be managing the place, he asked “does it hurt?” I responded absolutely! He simply replied “oh, sorry” then immediately walked off. First & last visit & definitely would NOT recommend!

I got my Nails done Friday and today is Monday my Nails are chipped and one is lose. I am very disappointed! $35 for my nails to chip in 2 days?

I usually dont give reviews, but I had to give credit when credit is due. Ive lived in Madison for a year and 8 months. Its hard finding the best nail shop in a new city. I found Kims Nails online, read the reviews, and looked at their photos on Facebook. Im very picky about my nails. One name stood out and the pictures do no justice when you actually see it in person! Don was wonderful! From my gel fill in, pedicure, and eyebrow wax, they did a great job! The customer service was awesome! They have found themselves a new client and I will continue to come here. If there was an option to give 10 stars, I definitely would do it! Thanks so much very making me very happy.

I went here just to have SNS removed and gel clear coat. Didnt know salon but thought you cant mess that up. Easy right... WRONG. I had to right back in. Nails had big humps were there was still SNS power on them. And top coat wasnt gel and still wet. Worse salon I have ever seen. I could do better by far. DONT waste your time

I originally gave this place 4 stars after my first visit, but my visit today was different. I changed the shape from sqoval to round and they are so uneven. I can see streaks on my right hand and felt like $30 for a fill in was a bit high. On my left thumb the nail doesnt even cover my whole actual nail. I am now once again on the hunt for a good place to get my nails done.

Ive been going here now for about 6 months. I admire the fact that Don the guy that does my nails also lets me know when I need a break from the gel nails and treats my natural nails. Hes great and he takes care of his clients. He introduced me to the coffin nails and I get so many compliments.

I went to Kim’s Nail Salon for my daughter’s home coming. She was so excited to get her nails done, but they upset her very much. It was our first time there and it will be the last. If I could, I would not give any stars to this place. My daughter had a picture of the nails she wanted and they said ok. She got her pedicure and asked for her toenails and fingernails to be same color with glitter, she never got the glitter on her toenails and her fingernails did not match her toenails as she requested. One lady (I guess she was the owner) started her fingernails, after she put the nails on her fingers she then started putting the glitter and my daughter said “oh that’s not the color”, it had nothing to do with the picture she showed them. The lady got upset and left the table and then started with another customer. Another guy worker started to do my daughter’s nails and he was terrible. My daughter and I were talking to each other very quietly about her nails not being done the way she wanted and the owner got up from her seat and comes in front of me talking very rudely while displaying very rude body language and mocked me. I told her, “why would you talk to me like that, that is not nice”, and I said “are you mocking me, please stop being rude”. Her and three other people would not stop talking in their native language until we left the place. It’s not professional what she did, and it wasn’t fair to my daughter witnessing such rudeness. My daughter got so upset that she couldn’t get what she wanted for her nails and what they did to her and her mother. SHAME ON KIM’s NAIL SALON AND KIM!!!!!!!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I wish I could give this place 0 star. The customer service was horrible. I went with my friends to use my gift certificate I got from a parent in school. I’m a teacher with a busy schedule so I didn’t had time to use it. I finally decided to go before my vacation and they refused to except it because apparently it was expired when it had a date on it written by one of their employees. It didn’t expired till October 2019. They should have a refund policy or something because it was purchased and not used. The lady on the counter then offered me $2 off my service. The certificate was worth of spa mani and pedi which was $30 when I called last weekend and now it’s $32 and she offered me $2 off because that totally helped. They thought I’ll get it done and pay them again when they already got the money from the certificate. I was not gonna pay them for something that’s been paid for. I sat there and waited for my friends to be done. I rather pay $50 and go to a better service place than this place. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone at all. Also my friend’s niece who was only 14 years old and didn’t speak English they took full advantage of that and charged her almost $80 . I counted her total should’ve been somewhere $60-$65 also they said she will get a discount because of her Age. Which was a lie as well. Save yourself from this place

Not sure why they’re so busy. They rushed through my mani/pedi and used the wrong color. Didn’t offer to change the color. My mani was sloppy- didn’t touch my cuticles and filing is uneven. I could’ve done a better job myself. Which isn’t saying much

Dusty and Dirty!I havent seen this many dust-bunnies in like EVER! The leather on the employee chairs are ripped, the dirt on the customers chairs are stuck to more filth. The cubbies that hold the tools and lotions are disgusting. The pink, lime green, and salmon paint leaves a lot to be desired. To top off the un-spa-like atmosphere, I had cold water for my pedi. At least the employees seem friendly. I would have given this place one star simply for the filth but these folks actually did a descent job and they were reasonably priced. Bring your own manicure tools if you dont mind the filth...you dont want to catch a fungus...

Im actually honestly surprised to read such bad reviews. I know everyones experience is different, and maybe I havent seen the side that other people have. But Ive been here on several occasions and have never been unhappy with the service given to me. Since the first time I went, they have remembered me every time. They are always very quick to see people even when it is crowded, And have always been friendly and given me what I had asked for. I feel that everyone there does a great job with nails (ive had almost everyone there do my nails at least once). I have never been unsatisfied and i have recommended this place to a lot of my friends. But it may not be for everyone. I would suggest to at least try it once. Oh and i have always been a walk-in

Dont go there, I hate to make it racial, but you decide for yourself.....Well for starters,it was a Sunday and I wanted to get a mani/pedi they were busy. There was a lady and her teenage daughter waiting for the next chairs. They asked me what I wanted done and to sign in on the green sheet,which you can see was for walk ins. So I quickly realize Im the only black person in the room which doesnt surprise me. However in walks another lady and get daughter and they sign in on the green sheet, by this time Ive been waiting about 35min. they have a seat,so they finally take the first mom and teenage daughter then a Asian lady walks in signs in has a seat. So the nail lady tells the other mother and young daughter to go have a seat at the pedi chairs, then the Asian lady walks to get her nails done had a seat. Now its 45min Im still waiting. So after everyone else is seated then they put me in a pedi chair and just fills it up with water,I sat there for 20 min and my water got so cold,then I looked around and forget about anotherlady that walked in and got right in a chair. So I politely took a towel died my feet, and told the other people walking in that didnt look like me, DONT WORRY THE WAITS NOT LONG,IM SURE THEY WILL SEAT YOU RIGHT AWAY. As Im telling them that the nail lady is asking me to please not leave,I said I was patiently waiting for 1hour to be seen, and you deliberately ignored your sign in sheet and me being the third person waiting you choose to help others around me. FIRST AND LAST TIME.
