I would avoid . Unsanitary! Not friendly and nail polish turned into a dirty color within two days!!! First experience and worst I would not recommend or return.

I went here with my friend and I wouldnt go back there was a lot of problems with theses people. Theres a smudge on my nail and I asked the guy to fix it and so I told the guy and he told me I should have been careful and I had a fight with him just so he would fix. The nail polish is not even and neither are my nails. I would not recommend going here.

They were very nice but rushed. My nails were warped and chunky not to mention 3 days after getting a gel mani and petty my polish chopped. They repainted the and my nails are still chipping and my toe polish is lifting

I travel for work. Sometimes it is difficult to find a salon that can meet my wishes within a certain pricing. I came to Madison in September and began my search for nail salon. I went to Best Nails and have not switched anywhere else. They were able to match my style, price, and personality. I felt like I was at home being pampered. She never faulted once and quickly made adjustments if I asked. I was originally quoted a higher price over the phone, but she reduced it down when she seen what I was actually talking about. If Im ever in the Madison area again, I will make sure I am a returning customer!

I went there on Friday June 19th. They did not put the clear coat on 3 of my nails. All of my nails are crooked and messed up. My left pinky is already cracked. And after I left there was nail polish around my fingers still. Do not recommend this place. The nails are also so flimsy.

I had Kim. It was really busy but I am glad they were open on a Sunday. I got my lashes, nails, eyebrows and daughters nails done for under $100 bucks. Thats great. The service was great. Kim explained what times were best to come in. She gave me what I needed for my nails, not just selling me on the highest and most popular items. Everyone in the salon were great.Im sorry about the experience that others who wrote reviews before me. Best Nails has been around for a long time. I loved them when they were by South Towne mall.I definitely recommend going here. But make an appointment or expect to wait a while. They just get super busy.

Got my nails done by Jenny and after 5 days they started to chip on the top layer and peel. I called and she would have fixed them that night but it didn’t work for me. Went back yesterday and she fixed them free of charge and did an amazing job! Staff is always friendly.

I went here with my best friend and they told us it would be $40 at the beginning and at the end they said it was $60. The person doing my nails cut me so many times, so at the end of the appointment my nails didn’t even look that good cuz my fingers were bleeding. Also he filed my natural nails down to much because it was to the point where my nails just hurt and I wanted to take the nails off. 100% would not recommend this nails salon unless you want to be in pain.

Super nice people! For once I was given time to actually pick the nail color I wanted and didnt feel rushed. I thought the sounds of the mall would be annoying but that didnt bother me at all. Found my new favorite place!

Not the quality it used to be. I asked for slightly thicker nails as I am very hard on them. What I got was thicker but also super wide. I also asked about changing over to Pink and White as I usually do for summer and was told that my nails are the wrong kind and she would have to take them off completely and start over, that would be $55. I dont think this was true as I have done this every year for many years. I will not be going back.....ever

I’ve been coming here for quite a while now and every time I seem to get more frustrated. Some of their employees are better than others yet it’s to the point where it’s just not good enough anymore and I won’t be going back.Sometimes I’m told the wait is 30 minutes or less and I end up waiting over an hour. They have a tendency to treat walk ins far better than the regular clientele appointments.Today Was the final straw. I was charged $37 for a fill when a completely new set is $45. Today, for my Fill, I chose a mood changing color. The bottle was pink and purple and I specifically asked if those were the colors that they changed into. I was told yes. Then when My nails were done, come to realize it goes from one shade of pink to a lighter pink, not purple. I don’t like light pink... ever. No matter how many times we went round and round they would not budge and giving me any courtesy of a discount because of their mistake and I wasn’t going to stay longer having the whole thing redone.

I went early in the morning ...10:50am to be exact. Got sitted immediately, my nails were finished in less than an hour. Although I only got a gel fill in and clear polish.

I would never go back. The man who did my nails was very rude. He filed my skin twice with the electric filing device and when I told him, he said you can t see anything-like he did nothing wrong. I asked him to fix the end of my nails where he filed them unevenly and he kept saying well it s not going to be perfect. Extremely rude customer service.

First manicure with my real nails!

It was the first time getting my nails done and I bite my nails so I was anxious about going inside. A man started to give me a manicure and I asked him how long he’s been working there to make conversation & he replied with “Too long.” Then he said “You bite your nails, eh? They’re *really* short.” Also, I got my eyebrows waxed there twice; the first time it was done really well. The second time it was a different lady and she didn’t wax in between my eyebrows at all so I asked her if she could but she still missed a lot of little hairs.

I had a great experience! I did an ombré almond shape on my nails and he did exactly what I wanted! Definitely coming again

I have gone to them for 2 years now and they are fast and amazing at the nail art.

First time going here....never again. I have cuts on my hands. Had to leave in the flip flops they put on because nails wouldnt dry for an hour, but watched a other customer get set up with a dryer. Was told no for every color I picked out. Argued with me when I said shorter for my nail trim. I wanted to cry.

She filed my nails down so well, she also ended up filing my skin down. It felt especially (not so) wonderful when she sprayed alcohol down on it.Also, when she was pushing my cuticles back, she made sure to push them all the way back to my knees.Trip was made even better when she painted my nails the wrong color. So if you would like a painful pedicure and poor service, this is the place for you!

Techs and Business more interested in up charging you for every little thing they cant even bother learning English. Filed off all full length natural nails when I kept asking for them to remove tips. Called me a liar and Intead of making it right they threw me out. Wouldnt present their license # upon asking. WORST SCUM AND SLEAZE BAG BUSINESS IVE EVER ENCOUNTERSooo Many better nail shops..look at last place on Yelp.

I went here about 5 times, the first four times were OK. Each time I had an appointment. The last time I went a few people wanted walk in appointments so they rushed my appointment like crazy my pedicure was terrible. I paid for gel nails they were done so quickly the layers didnt have time to dry, they peeled and cracked and fell off the next day. one of my nails had 1/4 that wasnt even painted. theres no reason I should get shoved out the door because someone wants a walk-in. The services was terrible, I wont go back.

So as a nail tech I suppose you have to abide by cleanliness rules, I think it’s disgusting that I got a pedicure and they stopped in the middle of it to change the garbage with gloves on then tried to come back and touch my skin with the same gloves.... does the state board of Wisconsin not come check places like this?

This place is AWFUL! I went in for a pedicure. They are sooo rushful and will not give you the time to relax. I asked if my feet can soak a moment, and the worker told me no I asked for the back of my feet to be scrubbed and the worker told me No. I asked the worker if he can paint the tips of my toes, he said No, I asked him if he could put a flower on my big toes and the worker again said No. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! You dont charge someone $31 bucks for a pedicure and be tacky! My daughter was with me and when we left, she said mom, I think that worker was racist. I asked her why she would say that and her reply was because of the way he treated you and responded back to you when you had questions. I was appalled. I HATED IT and WILL NOT RECOMMEND this place. They should have been relocated out of the mall like the other stores.

I came here today for a fill and a pedicure, I was service by an older lady, I kept telling her she wasnt cleaning around my toe nail right. Then she cut my them to short which became a problem🤔 Then she didnt polish them right so it was a young lady that came over and yes she was ignorant as hell!! She said why didnt you tell her she was doing it wrong? Lady are you serious? Then she say well she will finish polishing your toes we wont charge you and you can leave!!! They are unprofessional and never will go back and I let all of my friends know how horrible this place is!!! Please dont go here find you some place else!!!

Just passing through the area and was in desperate need of a pedicure. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. An older woman did my pedi and really took her time. I spent an hour in the chair being pampered! I will definitely visit this place again!!! Reasonably priced and convienent! Would definitely recommend them!

I went in for a pedi and a no chip French mani.I had to turn sideways in the chair while they were doing the pedicure because they wanted me to soak off my fingernail polish. This was very uncomfortable. Luckily, for my back it was the fastest pedicure ever. I couldnt sit like that much longer. Sadly, for my feet it looked like a fast pedicure, not a professional pedicureWorst manicure Ive ever had. I got a French manicure, but they didnt give me a manicure. Just painted the nails and didnt even bother removing all of the red polish I had on previously. Im not sure what kind of no chip polish they use, but it literally chipped the next day.I tried to politely ask them to at least remove all of the previous polish, but they didnt understand me. I just gave up and left. Wish I would have saved my $65 and went somewhere else.

I silly me was looking to get my nails and hair done on a Saturday at the mall. I had time before my hair appointment and wanted to see if they could get me in. I ask for a French tip set and one lady couldn’t here me and then the other chimes in and looks at my nails. She says she doesn’t have time until at least 4:30-5pm. So if you want to get your nails done at the mall set an appointment or go there first thing when they open. By 2:00pm there’s no way to get your nails done.

Came in for a fill and one repair. The lady who I got was nice and courteous however she did an awful job. Mis-shaped my nails, cut my cuticles all up, got acrylic all over my fingers. I was just gonna leave and shape them myself but then Kim stepped in and saved the day! She removed all my polish, re-shaped my nails, and was very gental because she knew I was in pain and only charged me a fraction of what I should of paid! Im not from Madison, I was only here for the weekend but KIM knows what she is doing and Im thankful she stepped in and fix it all for me!

Worst service ever! Prices are not worth what I got. I asked for almond shaped nails and got tombstone. I asked for color just on my tips and the guy refused to do it. My polish was done horribly with spots missing polish all over. And he did not file the under part of the nails. They did not put any oil on my nails after either. Dude was rough with my hands too. I left no tip and will not be going back.

If zero stars were an option, this place would have gotten just that. If youre looking for horribly done mmanicure or no customer service at all youve found your place. Ive never felt like I was an inconvenience paying over 50 dollars for a manicure that seriously chipped 2 hours later. I am racking my brain trying to understand why this place is still in business and its unfortunate that EVERYONE working there seemed to have the same crummy attitude. Not only were they rude to me, but my poor 10 year old daughter went with for a mother daughter mani and pedi....they were so rough with her they made her bleed and got angry when she cried in pain!!! Ive never had to write such a negative review in fact this is my 1st negative review of anywhere. I just wish I would have taken 2 minutes to Google this place before making a huge mistake of going here and more then anything I really hope this saves someone else from the same mistake

I called ahead of time to find out how much a full set would be they told me it would be $30. And while I was getting my nails done as she started to put the acrylic on she told me the shape and that length would be $40 and I didn’t get my nails very long at all. Right away when I walked in they were so rude while she was filing my nails she was also filing my skin. I was wanting 3 colors she said that would be extra too. Finally after I paid she asked my to sign the receipt she had me sign it as soon as i gave it to her she crumpled it up and threw it away.

I had been working for 3 months to grow out my week nails by getting no chip pedicures. After moving to the area I went to this salon. Awful. I dont even think that they used no chip polish on my nails. One chipped on my drive home. 1 week later all but two have broken off. I would never recommend this place. Stay away!
