I had amazing service from Nina. She was so nice and friendly. I asked for a big project with a new full set if acrylics that she would have to do free handed. She did such an amazing job. I could not recommend a better nail place. It has been a hard time finding a nail salon that is home for my nails and this is it. She never told me no we talked together about what would be best and now my nails are a work of art. Thank you so much!! Their kindness and flexibility was amazing as well. They got me in the day of.

I got a full set acrylic. Asked for rounded tips, but I got almond tips. It is supposed to be $50 and I also asked to make sure it would be same price as advertised. The lady doing my nails was so aggressive handling my hand and nails. They charged me $60, saying first time is more?! but 3 week later for the second round it would be 50, and basically pressured me to tip by cash, which I didnt have so they put in the tip herself from me! I wont be going back there and dont recommend it to anyone.

Needed to get my nails done for a wedding I was attending. I wanted a cute pink nail with some little strawberries to match my dress.Nina was my manicurist and she did such a beautiful job. My nails look great but I just don’t think they’re worth the price. $70 for an acrylic set, plus a $10 tip. I wanted to get a design but it would’ve been $90. I’ve never seen prices that high. She also was very rough on my nails & it hurt at times, it felt like I was going to bleed. Just a little too expensive for me to go back.

They did fantastic jobs in really short period of time!!!Mine took about one and a half hour and it turned out sooo cute!! The cow prints paired with my rings and earrings!!! And it’s actually not expensive compared to what I had in New York (which was not even half as nice).And they have been soooo mind to me both times when I was there!!Please go and check them out if you need your nails done for the summer :)

My wife and I are from Texas and we were visiting friends here. We wanted to get pedicures and they did an amazing job. Took great care of my wife’s feet and payed close attention to detail. I have horribly dry, calloused feet and she worked hard to get the dry skin off. Would highly recommend.

I almost cried when they told me my nails would cost $70. I paid $50 for dip which is a little pricey but okay and then $20 for the design. I would have been fine paying the extra 20 for the design if I actually liked it. Now I’m just sad and too embarrassed to say anything about my nails. Also I showed them a picture of what I wanted and the lady doing my nails just made up her own designs. It looks like a 2 year old did my nails.

My roommate and I got manicures yesterday here. For reference, I got a fill and she got a full set. Our nails look good, but the services were very expensive. At my normal nail place, I pay $35 for a fill. Here, it was over $50 for the same service. My friend’s full set was originally $65, but they cut it down to $60 because she got her nails shorter (I believe that was the reason.) Overall, the quality was good, but there are definitely cheaper places that offer the same quality services.

Perfect! By far my favorite nail salon. Nina does an absolutely impeccable job......Once again Nina has done a wonderful job. I showed her a picture of black nails with reverse glitter ombré and she was glad to do it!! Not many in the Madison area are THIS TALENTED....I have also gotten my nails done by other people in Nina’s family, who work for Fancy. Everyone is great and they all perform very professionally!

Nina is great! I will be coming back. I have had my nails done before and she was a lot more attentive and caring then the person at the mall. 2 weeks later and they are still going strong.

This has been my favorite salon since I moved to Madison three years now. Everyone there is so wonderful, talented and know me (and my husband, and every visitor I’ve ever brought with me) by name! The salon is very clean and stylish. In these COVID times, they take your temperature upon arrival and maintain consistent cleaning protocols to make sure both the customers and the nail technicians are safe. They always do an excellent job. From a simple manicure to an interesting design, they “nail” it every time! Happy and loyal customer here, always.

I went in for Dip Nails and I had the worst experience. First of all I paid $65 for this service (did not include extension or a tip). I have never paid this much in Madison. Apparently after they finished my nails they charged me $15 for a gel design, which they never mentioned was extra nor did they have a sign with that service fee. I’ve been getting my nails done with dip for a couple of years and they always dip my nail 2-3 times in the powder. She only dipped it once and when I mentioned if she would dip it more times she said she would but “it costs more”. Lastly, I just got my nails done on Wednesday and by Saturday they have begun to chip and the dip is coming off. I came because I heard great things about their nail designs and service but don’t be fooled. When I was there I learned that the nail techs that made the nails designs on their social media pages no longer work there.

Im going to make this salon my go to place! I tried it on a whim to get ready for a fancy event and I was able to walk in and get a mani/pedi no problem. My tech Phil was wonderful and gave me with tips and tricks to make sure my feet and hands were healthy and well treated. I was totally able to put a tip on my card with no push back (which seems to be a complaint). I felt like a regular even thought it was my first visit.

Wonderful experience! There were two ladies working when I arrived. One of them was with one client, and the other one was waiting for me since I had made an appointment. They first had me wash my hands before I chose my nail color, and everyone was wearing a face mask. After talking with them, I learned that it’s a family ran business. The ambiance is comfortable and relaxing. The woman helping me was very kind and knowledgeable about nails. 10/10 I’ll be coming back and recommending this nail salon to everyone.

It’s so hard to find a nail salon that does acrylic nails well, and does it well every time without breaking the bank. At Fancy Nails I know every set I get I don’t have to worry about them breaking, or chipping, or being too chunky or uneven, and it doesn’t take 2+ hours to do them! Obsessed.

Due to COVID, they’re appointment only, but they were able to book me an appointment within an hour of calling. I had gotten a gel manicure as well as gel pedicure, and they did a wonderful job! I would definitely return :)

They got me in so quickly for a full set, late on a tuesday night. I immediately knew I was going to get the exact, perfect nails I wanted. The coffin shape looks great! (some places can’t do that). I was extremely excited about the end result and I left super happy. They have great reviews and it’s totally deserved! Nina was the woman who did an amazing job!

Best pedicure experience I’ve ever had. Place is very clean, liners are used in foot baths and clean tools were brought out for my pedicure. Phil was super knowledgeable about what my feet and toes needed instead of just going through the motions and checking off each step. Felt grade, pleasant conversation, and my nails look excellent!

I decided to give Fancy Nails a try and made an apt with Nina who had some wonderful reviews on google. I can not say enough about her. Nina was incredible, taking her time on every single nail. Shaping it from not only the top but under side as well. Checking every angle to make sure they were just right and straight. Every nail is PERFECT! And exactly what I asked for. I took my mom to get a full set pedi and acrylics and got myself some acrylics. Nina was amazing! I havent had acrylics in over a year and she was willing to experiment with the design I wanted. Plus knew how long I wanted them. My mother loved it. Definitely going to keep coming here.

Today was my first visit to Fancy Nails. First, Id like to commend the gentleman who was giving a pedicure to the woman sitting next to me. I couldnt help but notice how pleasant and accommodating he was, and how he seemed genuinely interested in her as a person and a customer. The other staffers also seemed pleasant and kind... everyone but the woman who was giving my pedicure. Rosie barely acknowledged me -- I actually felt invisible -- she carried on phone conversations throughout the procedure, and actually stopped mid-application to look at her text messages. Although she gave me an excellent pedicure, I probably wont be back.I dont generally write negative reviews, but Im hoping that she sees this and realizes that each customer who enters her shop is a human being -- not just a pair of feet -- and deserves attention and kindness.

Nina did a wonderful job giving my bitten nails a new look with acrylics. She took her time and explained everything to me, she made sure I was happy with the result and even advised me on a new color (I had an interview coming up and needed a nice nude color). I will not go anywhere else!

This is by far the best nail salon I have come across. Their location is easy to find, has great parking and the salon is beautiful. Everyone is always friendly and caring and even without an appointment they are very accommodating and make sure to get you in as soon as possible. Nina always does a perfect job on my nails, is fun to talk to and really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend Fancy Nails to anyone needing a manicure or pedicure and some TLC. My friend came here to get her nails done and they did a wonderful job. Lots of pretty colors to pick from. And the staff was highly professional and good at what they do. I have been searching for a high quality nail salon to do my dip nails ever since moving to Madison. With every experience leading up to Fancy Nails, I either had my nails chip apart or the color become distorted. Fancy Nails did not disappoint!! I told my technician all the issues Ive had leading up to them, and he told me, This will be your last stop. He completely right!! Three weeks in and still happy!

I had Nina and she was amazing! The gel color selection was huge and the shape of my nails was perfect. The chairs were also super comfy!

I’ve been getting my nails done at Fancy Nails for over ten years, and I’ll be here for the next ten as well. Danny always does a great job. I’m able to get in and out on my schedule, and the mani/pedi always lasts 3-4 weeks.

Very rude, speaking with each other in another language and on their phones constantly. Their attention should be on their customers and conversing with them in English or not conversing at all. Not a comfortable place to be. I think they need to learn that our culture is not rude like theirs. Also, make sure you take cash because they ask for a tip in cash. Its because of the usage charge for credit cards, which takes away from their tip, so thats understandable, but they are extremely rude.

I have gone to Fancy Nails twice now, and walked out so happy each time! Nina does an amazing job of making sure my acrylics look fresh and clean. They have a huge color selection and lots of availability. Try and call to schedule an appointment ahead of time to make sure you get in and out when you want to. Overall, the best experience I’ve ever had getting my nails done, and will definitely return again and again!

The staff was nice and addressed you quickly but thats about it. The pedicure I recieved was mediocre at best. I had a small ingrown that I asked my nail lady to take out and she never did. My leg massage was just rubbing lotion into my leg until it was done. My pedicure was 20 minutes long. For the price I paid there I could get a better quality and longer pedicure at the place I usually went to. Only reason I wanted to try something else was because the callous remover at my original place isnt the best but the lady here did a great job in my friend.

I give Fancy Nails 5 stars because they are clean, professional, and experienced. The salon is modern and colorful and everyone is very welcoming. I drive 20 minutes to get an acrylic fill every 2 weeks with Nina. It could be stretched to 3 weeks, but due to a nail biting problem, I go more frequently. The fills last a long time and dont lift. Nina has provided me with good advice and is quick and efficient while also paying attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Best pedicures in Madison

This was my first time at Fancy nails and I will not be returning. Nice staff but the lack of attention to there new customers is very obvious. I had a pedicure and dip on my nails. The pedicure lacked attention. My cuticles were not cut, didnt clean underneath my nails, and no scrub/exfoliate for my legs because she was to busy answering the phone, watching her tablet, and talking with her regular customers. Im allergic to lotion which I let her know but didnt ask if she can use an oil instead. I had dip on my nails and was removed by taring the old dip off, which was very painful. I asked if they soak it off and there reply was that taring it off is quicker. Besides that the work was mediocre. One of my nails was not completed covered with the dip. Will not return and not recommend

Love Fancy Nails! Everyone is so friendly and they remember us. They take time to ensure everything is cleaned properly. They do a thorough manicure and pedicure. Im always incredibly satisfied with the results.

Called and asked about a short notice appointment to fix a really unfortunate set of acrylics done elsewhere. Was told to come on in in a couple hours, no problem. Nina totally turned around my nails by thinning them down, smoothing them out and fixing the mismatched shapes - just generally made it all better. It’s also a fun place to be, they know their customers and since it’s a family shop there’s that sense warmth. They’ll be my go to spot from here on out!

They did an okay job. Not great okay. They did not talk to me or my daughter. Only talked to each other. It was pretty obvious I was one of the topics of discussion every one of those women walked over to look at me look at my short nails and look at me again. I explained why I have short nails and I did not want extensions. For the $$ I spent I would think I would get nicer service for spending $120 (not the tip added to this either)

Wow we had an awesome time here! Came with a bachelorette party of 8 and they accommodated us amazingly. We all received pedicures and it was very clean and had great atmosphere inside. I’m just sad we don’t live in the area, but I would highly recommend to anyone, especially for a special occasion 👍🏻
