I used Randstad last year and the recruiter I had was helpful and I ended up getting a job. Now Im in the process of looking for a similar job to the last one. I was given a different recruiter and was scheduled for a phone interview at 10:30 am. It is now 11:15 am and the recruiter has not called. I havent received any form of communication letting me know that the interview wouldnt be happening.

I was fired by Ranstad because I was out for a court case which was 9 hours away from Jacksonville, Fl and due to bad weather the day after court I wasn’t able to drive thru tornados with my 1 year old child in the vehicle also. They told me I was fine taking off work and have never given me any issues since October when I started working with them until now since Sean is no longer there. They just fired BJ’s second highest case thrower, and fired me even after they called and told me I was fine to go back to work at BJ’s since the HR wanted me back but Ranstad wouldn’t let me go back due to them saying it wasn’t up to their “standards”..... so now I draw unemployment Thanks Robin

I applied to 6 jobs on ranstads website. I called to check on my application and the lady put me on hold. I waited on hold only to be hung up on, and my call was not returned. I called back spoke with a guy that said the lady that hung up on me was on another call. He took my info and asked how much I want to be paid and my experience. I said $11/hr, and I have customer service and warehouse production experience. He told me none of the 6 jobs I applied for was available. Then offered a job at Mr. Chips for $9/hr. I turned it down and he said he would reach out to me later when they get something making $11/hr. Well I called again today they said all they have is Mr. Chips available. ***They sent a job offer to my husband making $11/hr THIS MORNING*** He spoke with them THE JOB IS STILL AVAILABLE JUST NOT TO EVERYONE! They said just reply to the email with job experience this was same lady that I spoke with.

I recently moved here to the Macon area from Atlanta and I need to start work immediately and Randstad was the perfect place to help my accomplish that mission. The first day I walked in to the office (with no appointment) everyone greeted me with a warm welcoming smile. I needed a position for an administrative assistant or office assistant and Tara and Ivy got right on helping me to land that position. The first interview, did not go so well for me because I was a little nervous since I hadnt been out on an interview for a while. Ivy and Tara were very understanding and gave me interview tips, and helped to prepare me for the next interview. Ivy and Tara are amazing people and are very passionate to help you to succeed in landing a career. Ivy and Tara even still follows up with me from time to time.

Such a wonderful place to work for. I had the pleasure and opportunity to work for them as a temp and became a Full-time employee with the job. Randstad is both national and international, which matters. It is not a little office isolated to Macon. The external benefit offerings are far better what local employers offer after deductions. This is a good resource for career transitioners, highly experienced contractors, other professionals. There are good managers, great assignments, and great networking potential. My experience has been surprisingly good.

Tara is amazing. She’s very professional, genuine and personable. I never had a problem reaching her or being afraid to ask questions. She was immediate with any and everything that I needed and made my transition into a new job a welcoming and pleasant experience.

It started out great. I was linked with Ivy, and she seemed really interested in helping me find a job within the career I am about to graduate from. We were in touch via email when all of a sudden, it stopped after I had a few questions pertaining to the job she was asking me about. I have since emailed and called to see if she was still there, but to no avail of getting a response from her or anyone with the company. Im really disappointed in the company and her as a recruiter. Ive been a recruiter beforehand, and dont find this behavior professional whatsoever. I hope everything is okay, but still gives no excuse for the company not to remain in contact or give up on potential clients. Also, Ive applied to several of their legal jobs seeing thats what Im looking for - with no follow up. Ill cut my losses and do this the same way Ive been.

Although there are only two reviews, I understand the rating. I try to use my judgement and the ratings of others as a source to gauge a companys standards. Unfortunately, the ratings have some truth to them. I called this morning to the Randstad Macon location to inquire about updating some information as well as to express interest in a job posting. I was in shock at the guy who answered the phone. He was unpleasant, disconnected, and downright rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. No proper welcome, no proper phone ending...nothing. I understand the process of staffing agencies for the most part, but I also understand the importance of giving the customer (potential employees) some signs of simple pleasantries to keep them coming back. Also, their website to update information is not user friendly at all. There is little room to input information, and the tabs are all over the place. Im not going to say this is an indictment on the whole company, but the Macon branch could definitely use some work. Please correct this!!!

Thank you Tracie for keeping me informed with the correct information about my status with a job. Tara totally lost touch with me, and stopped answering my emails once in the job. She gave me incorrect information about the job when I started, told me it was a dental office and it was an insurance company, told me to be there at 8:30..the Correct time was 8:15...the WORST thing you could do is be there at the first day at an incorrect time! Thanks Tara! She Didnt bother apologizing or sending an email of why she hasnt been in contact, and of course that was counted against ME NOT TARA! The other staffers inside the company helped me get through it and when I walked in the office the other day to get info for a job she didnt even quietly address it or apologize for her Very Poor contact! I will trust someone else before Tara handling any future career!

I applied to the Macon Randstad location after viewing several jobs they had available online. After a brief digital interview with Ivy earlier in the week, I had multiple interview opportunities that matched very well with my previous work experience. Job pimps. Deceitful condescending and manipulative. When I was released from one assignment for no apparent reason they had no work for me. I filed for unemployment benefits. When randstad became aware of it they suddenly found a job so unacceptable that they new Id have to take it or risk losing unemployment benefits. No dice. I dont play games like this. The following day I made a visit to the office. The job no longer was available. Coincidence?, I think not. If this is the type of company youd like to work with go right ahead.

Cant ever get anyone on the phone here. Called several times on different days and my husband and I are continuously being told everyone just left the office for meetings. They continue to take down our name and number and we get no return call. So I asked could I just come into the office and how ironic you have to be scheduled to get help. I will not be recommending this staffing agency to anyone.

They help me find a job, always kept me working, and now, I have a permitted persition at a job that I enjoy, they deserve 5 stars

I have had a great experience with randstad this go round! Their communication has stepped up a lot from when I previously worked for them . I have been under the care of Jennifer Welch and Jennifer Frankum and they have both been more than amazing. I passed out at one job and Mrs Welch called and checked on me immediately and showed a lot of concern. I was immediately placed at another job right after where I was then under Jennifer Frankum most of the time. If I have any questions or concerns she responds ASAP I HAVE NEVER BEEN KEPT WAITING under these 2 ! I would definitely recommend

The companies they work for are legit. As for the employees working for Randstad, they are very very rude almost like they hate their job. SMH.
