Recently signed up after putting it off for a couple years. I’ve always heard mixed things about LA Fitness, in general. The new management at this location is AWESOME. Keith was helping me out and he was super professional, answered all of my questions and was very thorough. He did not pressure me into signing up and wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal through my corporate perks. There was a lot of equipment available, for 4pm especially. It was very clean and you have access to all of the courts and studios, if there isn’t a class. There was a nice mix of people working out as well. Excited to come back!

They have probably 4-5 people just sitting around playing on their phones, while only 1 (very nice lady) person cleans the place. So the mens bathrooms, including the showers, are disgusting. Put those other people to work, there isnt that many people waiting to get a membership.

Big gym. Newer? A lot if equipment and it is organized is a logical format. Most everyone was using an individual bottle of disinfectant to clean pre and post using equipment. Over 30 ceiling fans are used to circulate the air. The lockers are still restricted but nearly all equipment is available to use.

Very nice gym, clean orderly and friendly staff at the front desk. This is one of the few LA locations in this area where you can get a personal trainer ( who is not yet a Master Trainer) with relative ease. We were super impressed with the level of knowledge and professionalism here at this location. A great place to consider if you are on the hunt for personal training with pretty decent facilities.

I think the corporate office should be aware of the very fine job your employee Brian, at the Mill Creek, Washington facility is doing. He knows people by name, greets each person as the come in and has something to say to each person as they leave. He is one of your major assets!!!

I choose to drive a further distance to this LA Fitness because the environment and machines here are better maintained. I will say there are constantly people who do not follow the protocols/rules. I do appreciate the staff at this location but it’s sad they can’t enforce much.

Highly recommend this place. I worked with Tyler P to get set up and he was as nice and professional as could be. Even when I had a special circumstance he was able to assist without any hesitation. The gym is also has everything you’d need and was very clean. Definitely recommend signing up through him.

This is the gym to go to! Every time i need help they are so willing to help and make sure my needs are met, everyone is so friendly! Def recommend this gym if you’re in search for one!! I got helped by Khamari and Musa!!!!

One of the nets of the basketball has been ripped for months and staffs refused to fix it. Another person told us he gave the staff a net but they again refused to put it on.Evening shift staffing is also a joke. They are kids and don’t care if people check in at the door. One time I was told not to scan my membership card because the guy said he wanted to be fired. Yet, he’s still around these day.

Love it a place I feel comfortable going and exercising and getting fit. Totally relaxed

Its currently by appointment in 1 hour intervals except the actual workout time is about 50 minutes. Leaving 10 minutes until the next group comes in. There are disinfectant bottles available and its up to you to clean the equipment before and after use. Not everyone follows this. Incoming people have their temperatures taken, but it doesnt really seem like the staff glance at the temp taken. Gym-goers during my session all wore masks consistently. Overall, a relatively distanced and safe workout is do-able.

Clean facility. But I am scared to go here since I saw 5-6 car windows got smashed at 10 in the morning, in broad daylight. This was a month or two ago. Turns out car window smashing is a regular occurrence for years per the Lynnwood neighbors. LA Fitness staff, can we increase security or is there another solution?

I tried to avoid putting this up because I know businesses are tough right now with COVID but enough is enough. It is day 3 with new regulations and we just got back our gym privileges and these employees just got their jobs back. Members here do not follow rules because they are not enforced. Day three and members are currently walking around without masks and I don’t even know if employees care. If masks are good enough for you, they are good enough for those people taking videos of themselves doing their exercises. So disappointed in your, LA Fitness.

Solid club. My only complaint was the supervisor for the personal trainers was a horrible human being. But hes no longer there, so all is well again. The trainers themselves are wonderful, btw. :)

Staff was really rude to me. I talked to a short lady brunette hair. When I tried to use my guest pass which my mom had gotten for me she pulled me aside to her desk and asked me if I wanted a membership and when I said no she kicked me out. Not great cause this club is close to my house and wanted to get back into working out. Safe to say they lost my business for good.

I canceled my membership in February in person, of course... It was well done I thought, just before they closed for covid.Cancellation didn’t happened... the LA fitness center said it wasn’t closed properly 😂😂😂So... since they reopened they charging me every month.My bank started a claim with them...I got more money back so far...☀️I visited them today, they said I wasn’t here canceling my membership in February...I canceled again and there is a balance I still have to pay for...🥴What a shady business?! Seriously?

Lots of parking, pool available for first come first serve, reservations available thru the app which is convenient, reservation times are only like 50 mins which is very short. You have membership options to bring a guest

**PERSONAL TRAINING REVIEW ONLY**I have been working with Mohamed for 6 mo now. He is professional, reliable, quick to communicate and never lets me get away with bad form.

Cancellation is a nightmare. They force you to physically mail a form rather than cancel with customer service at the place, or call or a number, or use an online portal.

It does need a lot of improvement in pretty much all areas but Regardless It has been a great work out place for me and an escape. Keep it up 👍

Went to LA fitness around 4:30pm on 6/26 and the guy working at the front counter mean mugged me for a good 5-10 seconds as I was entering the building. No greeting, no hello, no words. Just stared me down like I wasn’t welcome there. Been a member here for years and they’re usually ok but that kid needs some job training.Update: So now this gym has 4-5 teenagers gossiping and tossing a football around the reception area. Why the hell do they need 4-5 teenagers working there and not working? This gym seriously need to either fire half their staff that doesnt work or get them cleaning machines. Theres one or two hispanic ladies actually working (cleaning) while the other privileged teens are just doing nothing. GET YOUR SHT TOGETHER LA FITNESS.

I came here while on vacation and was welcomed with great service and a helpful staff. The facilities were up to date and very well kept. This gym had all the equipment I needed to get my workouts done and I would highly recommend coming here.

Gym is nice and clean but there’s a lot of kids there huddled around the weights which can make it feel like a YMCA.

They closed my location so the moved my membership to the next closest gym which was 5x further away (without telling me) so they could keep charging me. Had to wait on hold for 30 mins to cancel and wouldnt refund any charges...

So far Ive enjoyed coming here. I started using a personal trainer and hes professional and knowledgeable. Alex has helped me get in better shape and I would highly recommend. The only reason I didnt give 5, is that I feel the hours of some of the gyms are kind of restricted. Otherwise very happy.

I’ve been mostly happy with this gym until today. It take me hours to get my two kids ready and out the door to the gym. I even drive out of my way to come to this location. Today I walk in and they tell me I cannot workout because, they have too many kids in the play center. I come here every morning around the same time. If this is going to become a regular thing, I will be canceling my membership.

Jesus and Anne would not answer if they were open during the holidays.They kept rudely asking are you a member? While refusing to let me know they would be open.It seems logical a customer or future customer would not be reasonably satisfied if they are not allowed access to club hours.

Usually busy. Not 24/7. Lots and lots and lot of different amenities. Well staffed. Not always the cleanest during busiest times. Well equipped. Huge.

They have good classes, mostly clean changing areas, and a good selection of machines and weights. With that said the staff at the desk, the childrens area, and in membership is extremely rude. I have been going here for almost 2 years only because it is close to my home, but I think I may have reached my limit with the rude staff who are too busy socializing to ever answer questions, say hello, or look up from their phones. The individuals in the childrens area dont watch the kids as close as they should. Hopefully it doesnt take a child getting really hurt for them to see that. Come on LA Fitness you can do better!

This is a very well run, clean helpful and encouraging environment. The staff is top notch, knowledgeable and engaging.

Its got for you the most lbs per dollar and all the equipment worked pepper fine. The people are agreeable and the smell was passing grade. It gets a lot of use so if you like being among people, fine. Not too crowded, just manageable. Get your workout fix in quick access with the app. Not bad. The sign in is quick and the only drawback is they make it hard to cancel your plan.

Fitness planet is open 24 hours and some other gyms aswell why you guys close at 9pm ??

A decent facility. Good selection of machines/weight ranges. Equipment is rarely down for long. A lot of ego is present especially during peak hours. The smoothie bar within this location is fantastic.

Was a 4 star review. Its now a 1. You cant tell me I dont know enough about nutrition while simultaneously telling me Im not a beginner in training. People can pay $1200/month at totem lake for master training and see results in a month but if I pay $1200 over 3 months I shouldnt expect to see any? Its your job to empower your customers on their fitness journey not judge their lifestyle when they are asking you for help. If theyre telling you that your product isnt working you should re evaluate, not accuse the customer of not trying hard enough. What a joke.I like my trainer and I like most of the staff. The cleaning crew couldnt care less about being in the way. Its almost always packed and parking is a joke.

Decent gym, decent location. Crowded most of time time. Kind of lame that you lock your doors 20 minutes before you’re actually closed. Walked out to put something in my car and I can’t get back in? What if I’d left something in a locker? Should probably close according to your posted hours not 20 minutes early while there are still people clearly working out inside.

Reading all these reviews about the horrible customer service is somewhat true. However, to be fair, I should point out that there is one or two great employees in the front desk. I usually go at the crack of dawn and there is a lovely lady that always smiles and has a great attitude (even that early). But thats about it, everyone else is more into their makeup, looking cool, chatting, or checking their cellphone than paying attention to their job. This I assume is due to the lack of proper training, and discipline coming from management.Machines are usually in working conditions, and they get fix within a reasonable time. Considering the amount of people that has no idea what they are doing and how they abuse the equipment. Unfortunately, this is the majority of the members.Other than that this is an okay gym. Go in, do your stuff, and get out. An honestly thats all you should care about a gym. This is not a gathering place (looking at you, young fellas)Or a spa. Granted thing can always be improved, but if you are about to smash some weights, and still have energy to complain, you didnt do your job at the gym.

Walked in and was able to sign up pretty smoothly/easily. Greeted nicely by front desk. Clean facility and plenty of lockers. Phillip contacted me about my free 1 hour with a PT upon sign up. we set an appointment. He was very nice about my fitness assessment and listened to the goals I have. We did a few super sets and he showed me/ encouraged me to push my self harder to achieve the goals I want to accomplish. One thing I would say to watch out for is he likes to use big words to sound smart. Otherwise he is extremely knowledgeable about fitness, dieting and workouts. Totally recommend. I also like the lynnwood location much better than the Bellevue one.I am not sure how often during the day they clean the hot tub at lynnwood but I bet there is room for improvement. Thanks!

I’m in Edmonds for three weeks, and the gym is perfect for me. A lot of equipment, plenty of parking, convenient location, and not too busy mid morning. The staff was easy to work with, friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much!

I’ve never been here, don’t even live in the Lynnwood area, yet I get a call and voicemail from this place probably a couple times a WEEK asking me to come in and take advantage of their amazing deals. The voicemail is always from someone named Jordan. I called yesterday to ask if they could stop doing this, especially because I don’t even know how they got my information. The guy said he’d make a note of my name and number and then apologized for the high volume of calls. Then I got another voicemail from them 10 MINUTES LATER. They are completely disrespectful and I don’t see how any business would be successful continuously solicit calling the same uninterested people...since they ignored my request when I called, I’m now leaving a review. I’ve unblocked their number so that I will actually know the next time they call rather than just having a voicemail show up.

The club is well located with plenty of parking. They have a good complement of excercise machines and equipment. But they need to put more emphasis on routine maintenance. The interior temperature is also rather hot wtih no AC being turned on.

Im with Kayla on this. I have belonged to many gyms over the years and this is a good facility. Within the last six months they have brought in a manager whos been with the company for a few years. He told me they couldnt keep a manager because for a new person it was like drinking from a firehose. Its the busiest club in the state. I have not had a bad experience with any staff since Ive been there - in fact, quite the opposite. Everyone has a positive attitude.The facility is kept in good condition considering the usage it gets. A juice bar is also opening. I do think the major improvement needed is some people and their behavior. There is a percentage of people who dont clean up after themselves and/or bring their bad habits with them. But thats not the fault of the club. I highly recommend it as a local gym.

This review is in reflection of your people that do outreach. They decided it was a great idea to come into my place of business and disrupt me working with our customers. This is never okay and if they would have waited until we had finished or came back at a later time, I would have actually considered a membership.

Literally quit because my coworkers always show up late, dont tell me shit, and have there own little click of bitches. Not to mention my commission wasnt what I was told it would be, all the bitchy and stupid members (some where actually very sweet and Ill miss them) and expensive prices. I have been a member with LA Fitness for over 4 years and the key card that they originally gave me had worn out and fell off my key ring. when I went into the gym let them know what happened I was told to replace my card it would be a $5 charge, I told her that I do not agree to pay a fee and asked to speak to a manager. After I asked she started working on her computer and then threw a key tag at me and said I guess I will just pay for this out of my pocket then offended by that comment I asked to speak to a the manager again and she went and got another employee who was not a manager and she explained that it was policy to charge the fee but a they have the ability to waive it. So I asked her to speak to the manager again to explain the encounter that I had with the person at the front desk and she said that he is gone and will not be back for an hour. So I left and went to the gym a couple miles down the road to work out and also talk to the manager there. After I got there and did my workout I asked for the manager who happened to be sitting at the front desk at the time. he came over and before I had a chance to say anything he said that he canceled my membership and did not want to talk to me. So I asked him his name so I could call corporate and he said he is not going to give it to me, if I want it I can find it on the website. Then I asked why he is having an attitude I merely just wanted to talk to him about my encounter with the Mukilteo location. He said that they called him and explained the situation and then he started lying to me about their ability to waive the $5 fee for the new key card saying that it is impossible to do, they do not have the power... obviously not knowing that the sales rep at the other gym already did it. At that point they other manager there Anne stepped in and got involved and assured me that she would get the district manager in the loop and he would be calling me. I called corporate with no resolve yet.

Good, clean gym with a decent amount of equipment. I think its the nicest LA Fitness in the area. Only reason why I dont give it a 5 star is because there arent enough power racks or bench presses - it gets too bust and then you have to wait. Other than that (which isnt all the time) I would give it 5 stars.

This is for the Lynnwood location, which is actually quite nice. Though Im here very infrequently, the facilities always have the equipment I use, with friendly staff and ample lockers.

The worst gym I have ever been to. I was a member here for many months. The staff couldnt care less, they rarely even acknowledge you are there. The gym itself is near always completely disheveled. Weights are everywhere, along with trash and other items. The bathroom is in constant need of restocking. It is incredible crowded seemingly around the clock. Not at all worth the value. I now drive across town to my gym even though I live less than a minute away. Beware.

I see L.A Fitness on Hwy 99 is cleaner I also see they are under new management and from the looks of the gym these days she knows how to manage a gym. I was ready to cancel my membership if they didnt get it together. The gym looks good & smells good I think Ill hold on to my membership.

Nice facility, but I most certainly did not feel welcome. The staff was standoffish and seemed reluctant to help. If I did ask a question, getting an answer felt like pulling teeth. Plus, Ive NEVER seen a gym that makes customers pay extra to RENT workout and bath towels. Seriously, you have to pay $0.50-1.00 each time for each towel. I thought a major gym chain would have basic amenities like towels available and included with the membership, especially since a membership isnt cheap.

Good place to work out but watch for when they try to get you to do your free personal trainer session. Cant speak for everyone but after my session the guy tried to sign me up for a bunch of sessions and I had to keep prying to figure out just how much itd cost. Took me asking 3 different questions before I actually got what it would cost me.

Don’t even waste your time. Dirty gym, unfriendly staff, overpriced. Cancelled membership because a new staff member interrupted my workout because there were “complaints” about the noise of the bar with weights on it.... However the dude next to me had a video camera on a tripod recording his one rep workouts and repeatedly told everyone not to interrupt the background of his recording while in the free weight area with all the mirrors?! Lost a member of 5 years today.

Clean, well maintained, its a nice gym. One big problem, especially for someone who works out early then goes to work, they dont open on time. Opened almost 20 minutes late just today and this certainly isnt the first time. I mean, if I have an hour to work out before I have to get ready for work and they open 20 minutes late I might as well get a membership at a lesser gym that can open on time.Why state an open time of 5am on the weekdays and 8am on weekends if you cant stick to it? Its not hard to turn lights on and unlock a door.

Clean, very spacious and friendly staff. Would love if they close at 12 instead at 11!

I adore this gym. They have a great selection of equipment, including free weights in 2.5 increments at the lighter weights which is fantastic and so hard to find at other gyms. Cable machines, cardio equipment, a pool, racketball courts, and very clean locker rooms.

Ive been going here for 6 or 7 months now, I used to go to 24 hour fitness and I prefer LA much more. The staff and guests, there are friendly. The machines are usually not down for too long never more than a week. It gets pretty busy and you may have trouble getting the machine you want between 4-8 on the weekdays. There weekend hours arent the best. But other than that Ive never had a problem.

I like it. Good facilities. I wish they stayed open longer then 8 on weekend.

I went to this gym in December to try it out using a guest pass. They refused to honor the pass because I talked about having gone to an LA Fitness back home years ago. The coupon says nothing about being a first-time visitor to use it.They then called me 11 times over the next three weeks to offer their membership. I screenshotted all the calls on my phone as proof. I told them I was not interested in a membership but they started calling and hanging up when I answered. I will send the screenshots to corporate to report these calls.

This is a good gym if you know what youre doing and can get in and out. Avoid peak hours if you can... Everyone seems to want to workout with their friends here... Staff are not approachable whatsoever, I will say there are a couple awesome employees but as a whole not that good. All the equipment is solid though, full court, pool, sauna, etc. Well upkeep in my opinion.

Typically kept clean. A bit over priced in my opinion, and they make it more difficult than it needs to be to cancel. Seriously, in this day and age you still require a paper form to be printed and mailed to corporate headquarters? Only possible reason is they are hoping you will be too lazy to get around to it quickly and they can get a few more bucks out of you.

LA Fitness is a poorly run health club. Their Lynnwood location hires a bunch of young people who have no people skills at all. They have an attitude, they are not nice and never helpful at all. As a former member of the club, I had to leave because every time I went there just ignored people. Worst customer service. No matter what you tell them, nothing changes. Their corporate office phone number is just connected to a club manager and you can not ever get through to their corporate office. They do not accept email from members and basically it seems to me that they just do not care.Is dirty inside and worn out looking. The machines never get fixed in a timely manner and they always have an excuse why there are no positive changes. When I told them that I was leaving, they were delighted and told me that I complain more than any other member of the club. Basically, LA Fitness is a waste of money.

Great location as its right on Hwy 99 and there is always ample parking. As a member for the past three years I would agree that the level of professionalism and customer service at this location is poor, but Im sure they know this by now. On the other hand, the facility itself is good and is maintained well. The basketball courts are always bustling with activity and the activity room is always full with members participating in Yoga, Zumba, etc.All in all a good place to be a member.

This gym in Lynnwood has the worst customer service. The manager named Kassey is very rude and doesnt know what customer service is all about. He even said that we are wasting his precious time and threatened to kick us out if we dont settle down. He thinks he is doing us a favor for talking to us when the company he is working is the one who owes me 7 mos of membership. How can you not get upset when you requested a cancellation 7 mos ago and still charge you monthly dues. They are always happy and friendly when you are doing the membership but when it comes to cancellation they dont want to talk to you and suddenly you are annoying to them.When you miss a payment, their customer representative will call you 20 times a day until they get paid. But when you do cancellation and somehow they never cancel, suddenly they dont know whats going on. But one thing for sure, they are taking your money. This guy Kassey should learn a little bit more of knowledge on how to handle little issues. Instead of acting like he owns the place and thinks he has the power to do anything instead of making customer happy. For sure I will never recommend any of my friends to do membership at this location.

When we signed up, we asked if we could freeze our membership for free because we were expecting a baby and knew wed take a break. They said yes. When the time came, they charged us, and refused to take responsibility for what they originally told us. After a ton of phone calls, and going into their office, we ended up just taking a financial hit and cancelling our membership. We were definitely scammed and every employee we interacted with about it could not have cared less.

I don’t know what local or franchise gyms open up at 8am on the weekends. I’d like to be done with the gym and off to work before 8am. Customer service is hit or miss at this location, can’t even greet you when you walk in. The only stars you get are because the other gym members here are friendly and the location.

I love this location, it has it all, the machines run smoothly and the pool is superb. Racquetball courts are well lit and the crowd who play are very friendly. I look forward to each time I go.

This location consistently opens late. Last Sunday it was 45 minutes and today 40 minutes. It has opened late at least 15 times on a Sunday. I am tired of this company not respecting its members time.

I got a a pass to see if I wanted to go but the location just isn’t convenient for me so I changed my mind. I was called several times and told that I had an an appointment with someone even though I 100% never made one. Finally talked to them and told them I wasn’t interested and found a different gym. That was 3 weeks ago. TODAY I get a voicemail from a number I don’t recognize and they leave a voicemail saying please call back immediately, this is an emergency! I Google the number and it’s Lynnwood LA Fitness. Do not contact me ever again you psychos!

Pros:- Large Open floor plan- Convenient location- For the most part, 2 or more of each type of machineCons:- DBs only go up to 100lbs- Smith Racks directly in front of squat racks (which equals creepy people seemingly staring at your ass during ANY exercise)- The most inconsiderate patrons Ive ever witnessed (leave DBs/weight plates all over the floor, dont remove their plates off machines, sit & tap on cell phones instead of working out)- Staff does ZERO to counteract any of the above even after friendly suggestions

Front desk is rude and on cell phones most the time. I lost my key card and couldnt figure out the app so I use my phone number to check in. Most employees act burdened by having to punch in my phone number and the last time I was greeted very sarcastically by someone Ive never seen before. Sarcasm is rude when you dont know the person. Especially when thats all you say. When the same person checks me in 5+ times and acts like theyve never seen me before is another turn off. If you want your customers to use the app offer to show them how to instead of saying a sarcastic comment like we cant check you in then.Management doesnt know whats going on. There was an ad posted by the drinking fountains a while back for a group fitness instructor certification class held at another location.. when I called both locations to sign up neither could provide me the correct info and the location that was being advertised as holding the training had no knowledge of it.

Terrible customer service. They had a terrible attitude explaining an additional fee charged afterwards and wouldnt admit they didnt make it clear in the beginning. Needless to say they havent refunded me.

Great staff, helpful and kind. Clean and lots of equipment to choose from. Love the lap pool and hot tub.

Very well equipped with machines, free weights, classes and sports courts. Nice pool, spa and saunas

Its the best gym in Lynnwood, but that doesnt make it good. Music is horrible so bring your own player and headphones. Locker rooms dont have hot or cold water at the sinks, all are set to lukewarm. It doesnt feel clean so watch out for germs. On the plus side, floor is laid out well with lots of free weight and machine variety. There is a pool, whirlpool, racquetball, basketball, spin class, and Zumba class.

The 2 new girls in the morning (blonde one especially)is rude. There is a disabled man that goes there daily, I see the guys open the door for him and they never even look up from their phones to even greet anyone

I enjoy working out here but they need to clean the place up.
