I am glad I found a great honest mechanic that works on Toyotas. I had issues with my clutch that no one could figure out and they did a fantastic job. They treat me like a human and listin. I will take all my Toyotas here!

Took my Camry to these guys with a cylinder misfire and it turned out to be an ignition coil. They diagnosed it quickly and replaced it for a reasonable price. Couldnt be happier.

Greg at L1 is an excellent, experienced and honest mechanic. I have never had a reason question his work and have always been happy with the repairs to my vehicles.

Brought my car into L1 after having another shop give me poor service and tell me it wouldnt run again without a rebuilt motor. L1 actually listened to me and was able to give me a running vehicle within a few hours from dropping it off....best of all, the charge was way less than what the other placed charged me just to look at it. I am beyond pleased with L1 Automotive. I chose them initially a couple of years ago because they had a towing service which I needed since my car wouldnt start. They fixed it up and I was happily on my way. Since then, I have received texts from Greg, the owner, just checking in to see how my car was running, and to remind me when I need oil changes. Ive been back to them for all of my maintenance and repairs since then. Just last week I brought my car for an oil change and to have my back brake light replaced, as my friend told me it was out. They easily could have charged me for changing a bulb, but instead they let me know I didnt have any lights out. AND, they gave me a ride home after I dropped my car off, and picked me up when it was ready. No other mechanic I have been to has done these things for me. They are kind and honest and do great work at an affordable price! I recommend them to anyone who has a car!

I moved here from Greeley about a year ago and have been looking for a mechanic in Loveland. I took my vehicle into L1 because I had an issue that had eluded other techs. Greg was able to diagnose the problem in short order, and its now fixed. Its nice to have that search over, and now I know where to take my car when maintenance is needed.

I had a problem with my tail lights and had checked the fuses but couldnt get it to work. I took my car there and they spent about an hour and a half on it. He said they had torn everything off the rear to check wires. Im expecting $200 labor already. He charged me $10.92 because it was his mechanics fault. He hadnt checked the fuses first which was the problem. They didnt even charge me for the wasted time.Honesty, empathy, morality.Great shop. I will be using them to fix my CV joint going out and my rear strut as well.

When my Jeep Libertys engine exploded I was devastated to figure out what to do. Dealerships were pushing me to get a new car instead of replace the engine, which is what I wanted to do. From a friends recommendation of this shop, I took a leap of faith and had them install a new engine. They did a great job and are committed to tweaking all the little bits and pieces that come up after a huge install like this one. I feel like I have a secret car fixing weapon in my corner and that feels great for someone who knows nothing about cars. Great customer service, great pricing, and really more of a family vibe, you have a customer for life!

There are some awesome people working here and they do a darn good job. I recently got some car work done here and everything was beyond expectations! I asked them to do a check/fix up for a trip to Moab. It was thorough and very reasonably priced. They made it very clear what was needed and why, as well as what could be passed over potentially. Everything was laid out in paper with prices and confirmed before any work started. There was never a point where I was pressured or confused. Super honest and straight foreword. Also they have the cheapest oil change I can find! Seriously, if you go anywhere else you will be at the wrong place. Im going back here for every future car need!

Amazing machanics!!! L1 has been working on my many vehicles for several years. They are very trustworthy and I can confidently send my teenage daughters there on their own and not have to worry about them getting had.

I read through all the reviews before taking my truck into L1 for an oil change. They recommended that I bring it back to get some major work done and also suggested that I avoid driving long distances until the work was completed (in other words, that it really, really needed it). I took it for a second opinion to my old mechanic in another town, not an easy feat. He looked under the hood for 15 seconds and told me that none of the major work was necessary for at least another year, saving me at least a couple hundred bucks.Side note: I read several reviews from women customers who had a positive experience, and was excited to go to a women-friendly mechanic. Felt more uncomfortable there in my work clothes than Ive felt in some scuzzy bars. All said, no plans to go back.

Im pretty certain I was cheated by this shop.I took my tacoma to L1 on a recommendation from a colleague. L1 told me the steering rack needed to be replaced, and charged me over $1000.Less than a year later, i took it to another shop (without telling them anything about the steering problems). That shop told me that the bushing in the steering rack were worn out and that the steering rack hadnt been replaced. He sent me back to L1 to find out what was wrong. L1 told me they replaced the steering rack again and were very sorry. Now, a few years later, another shop is telling me that the bushings are worn out and the rack has clearly never been replaced.

I bought a used truck and had a 72 hour window to get it inspected for problems. I called the shop and they were already booking out to the next week. I mentioned my time crunch and they squeezed me in the following morning. Greg and the guys at the shop were very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I finally found a shop I trust to take my vehicles.

I took my car to this shop for diagnosis and repair. They took an entire day (9 am-4 pm) just to diagnose the issues. They then quoted me $368 to replace the engine temperature sensor and thermostat and spark plugs. That seemed unreasonable to me, so I bought parts myself ($50), and had a friend help me do the temperature sensor and the thermostat. It took him about an hour to fix both things. The temperature sensor was literally as easy as unscrewing the old one and screwing on the new one. Im not sure if its because Im female and/or young, but the price I was quoted is ridiculous.

I’m currently deployed and got ahold of L1 through Facebook. They responded in a timely fashion and I was able to convey the work that I want done on my 4runner (install front ARB diff lock, replace worn steering rack bushings and replace the older leaking CV axels). Greg was able to email me an estimated cost amount and get me a scheduled start date! My dad dropped the truck off for me! Greg and the L1 team was able to work their magic and get my parts installed and test drive it to make sure it was safe for me to take back. They also found the source of a fluid leak I was aware of and were able to get it fixed properly!My experience with them has been more than pleasant and I now have a local shop that I can trust to do good work!Best part is that the truck came back to me in a better condition than when I dropped it off!

These guys are the absolute BEST! Not only can you totally trust their work, but they go above and beyond what any business owner I know would do. My car was totally dead and the first place I thought to call was L1. Not only did Gregg try to trouble shoot the problem on the phone, but he drove from Loveland to Berthoud, ended up determining it was the battery and gave me a jump. I then drove to Loveland where they swapped out my battery, put in another so I could be on my way for the day and proceeded to charge it overnight, retested, checked to see if my car was drawing on the battery, etc. What good PEOPLE!!!

If youre an offroader, you know how hard it is to find a good shop to install suspension components and properly align the vehicle.I brought my 2011 FJ Cruiser to Greg at L1 Automotive to install new upper control arms and then re-align the truck. Greg and his team did a great job with the install and alignment, I couldnt be happier. They arent just normal auto shop guys who occasionally do lifts, these guys are offroaders in their spare time. So they know the special needs that lifted trucks have.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend any offroader looking for a skilled shop to go to L1 Automotive.

TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! This is only my second review Ive ever made for a business. I cant say enough good things about L1 Automotive. My hubby and I traveled from Seattle to Denver in our 1985 GMC Van. On the way back through Loveland the afternoon before July 4th, our belts were loose and needed to be tightened before our long journey. When EVERY SINGLE other mechanic had apparently closed early for the holiday, L1 Automotive quickly made time for us, fixed the problem, and even located a coolant leak. We sat in the air conditioned waiting room watching Netflix. At the end, they didnt even charge. Unbelievably great customer service. Fantastic work, too. We made it all the way back to Seattle without a hitch!
