Man! After calling a few places to get an idea of the range for what a brake job might cost, I got the clearest information from Brakes Plus and brought my old Pathfinder in over the weekend. Shes a new car to me, but has a few miles on her and the guys ran into a few unforeseen problems and called me with less than desirable news.Im sure Im not the only one who doesnt plan for disaster with car maintenance and Im happy to report that the guys helped me out beyond what I could have hoped for. They got the job done well, fast, handled the extra problems and not only could I handle the price, it was well below what everyone I called had quoted - without even knowing of the extra issues.I had to bring them donuts because they were just so awesome!Grateful!!!

DON’T DO BUSINESS HERE, THEY SCAM ANYONE THEY CAN. Scheduled an appointment to get my brake pads replaced. Left my car with them for five hours and they call back saying they finished their inspection. They insisted my rotors were too warped to replace the brake pads, and that my caliber also needed to be replaced. For some reason, they thought it was necessary to “inspect” my suspension and insisted my tire rod was so loose that it would “fall off at any time, leaving me with no control of my steering.” Quoted me at $2300 worth of repairs, when all I wanted was my brakes pads changed out. DONT LET THEIR FEAR TACTICS WORK ON YOU. Took my car to the family owned shop down the street, and they said I still had half of the life left in my brakes pads and everything else looks great and charged me nothing. Told them about what happened at Brakes Plus and they said an elderly woman just came into their shop saying Brakes Plus quoted her for $1500 worth of repairs on her brand new car. DONT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THEY PRAY ON WOMEN AND ELDERY PEOPLE.

Brakes Plus is awesome! I called last minute to get my brakes looked at and they fit me in. Ray was extremely helpful, polite and made the experience a great one! I will recommend Brakes Plus to all of my friends and family.

All I can say is that these people are knowledgeable, kind, gave me a ride home, and picked me up after my brakes, oil change, rotors, and air filter were completed. I didnt like having to spend a lot of money on those things, but who does? They have definitely earned my business. I now have a safe vehicle to drive and repairs that were professionally fine and with satisfaction.

Excellent service! I went in for a wheel alignment and they checked it beforehand (free) to see if I actually needed one. Ten minutes later the tech came out and said everything was actually pretty tight and pretty straight and he didnt think I needed one. He did notice a bit of weird wear on my tires and suggested that I get new shocks the next time I came in. The vehicle is 16 years old with the original shocks and I have known this for a while, so no big surprise. 5 mins later I was walking out the door. I will be going back.

I was blessed to work with John and Robert. They turned my horrible car troubles into an easy fix. They were kind, quick, professional and I recommend them to friends and family!

I visited Brakes Plus on 7/24/21, as my vehicle was having problems starting, and I was experiencing several other symptoms that a 15 second Google search suggested to be resulting from a failing alternator. I believed the issue to be the alternator or the starter, and told them as much. I was told that the problem was NOT the alternator, but the battery instead, so I paid $500 for the battery to be replaced, as well as some other maintenance work. Two weeks later, on 8/9/21, while I was driving home from work, my car completely shut down and wouldnt start again. I had to have it towed back to their shop, only for them to tell me that it in fact WAS the alternator that was the problem all along, whereupon, I was given an estimate of a further $500 to fix it. When I expressed my frustrations at the situation, I was given a $40 discount, and an expired coupon for an oil change. Frankly, I am more upset about the low quality of work and the reckless endangering of my life, as well as those who were on the road at the same time as me than the money, but that said, if my best guess as to what is wrong with my car is more accurate than your supposed expertise, your service is absolutely NOT worth the price you charge for it. Bottom line is somebody let me walk out of that shop with a vehicle that clearly was not safe to drive, after giving me the impression that it was safe, somebody DID NOT do their job properly, and I was expected to pay the price of a job well done. If you are thinking of visiting this location, do yourself a favour, save yourself the time, money, and frustration: find another shop with more honesty, integrity, and any amount more pride in the work they do.

What a wonderful team here! A few weeks ago I was in to get my brakes checked out. When they had done a full diagnosis, it turned out that I needed more than what I had originally anticipated. I had known the work would need to be done soon, but hadn’t saved enough to take care of it all. They worked with me on the price and helped get me back on the road safely, in a timely manner.

The best service we have ever experienced. On a trip (from FL). Our brakes went bad, on a Sunday. Made an online appt for 8am Monday. Dropped van off, keys in a drop box on Sunday night. Got a call by 8:30 am with inspection/estimate. Work done by 11ish am. Super people!Thank you!!!

Took my car in due to hard brake pedal issue. Found out it was a vacuum cap that needed replaced due to deterioration. They didnt charge me for this service! I was there last summer with this same car and had brakes, brake pads, rotors etc replaced and both times their service had been top notch! I will certainly return to them for any future service I may need on my car.

I was very unhappy with this shop. I came in for my back brakes to get done. I was told it would be about $150. When I arrived I was told they would look it over and they would call with a quote. 🤔 When I got the call I was told that both my brakes were bad and they could do everything for $1050.00 everytime I go in they make me feel like Im going to die in a crash unless I spend a lot of money. Needless to say we left and my husband did the front for $250.00. We were far from getting In a wreck bad.

All around disappointed they charge me for a diagnostic told me breaks would be 250 on the phone and wanted over a thousand after the diagnostic. They said they could check a bank to catalytic converter error and then told me later after they checked it that they didnt know if they could check it right And I needed to take it somewhere else to get it checked. Set an appointment which they were not ready for when I came in for my appointment and told me that I would have to wait until the end of the day

These guys were very good. I came in to have my brakes checked since the light came on, they found nothing wrong other than my brake fluid being a little low. They also found I had a valve cover gasket leak. They replaced the gasket and changed out my brake fluid without issue, all said and done it cost me just under $400 which is a great value for that amount of work on my car. John the service guy was great and Jerry the mechanic was very professional, I will be going back if I ever need anything else

Had to have my wife’s vehicle worked on because of radiator had a hole do to being punctured and was leaking fluid. Replaced radiator and all additional parts needed for repair in one day. Manager kept me informed and provided wonderful service.

Brakes plus was super fast, friendly and professional! They squeezed me in right away without a wait.

Had my girlfriend take my truck here for me. They quoted her $3,000 to replace 1 LBJ and a pitman arm, among a bunch of other random repairs that are wholly unneeded. Took my truck down the street to Hawker Auto and got a $300 quote for the same work. Dont waste your money here. If youre just coming for a basic alignment or oil change, they arent that bad. But anything else and their labor rates and absurd parts prices will ream you.

I was parked at Ace and my car wouldn’t start. I walked to Brakes Plus and a mechanic drove over and jumped the battery. They then did a thorough check of possible issues back at their facility and determined the cause was a faulty cable attachment. My bill was less than $20 all in. They were thorough and the entire process was fast. They have my business going forward.

Very friendly and professional. My battery light came on in traffic on my way to work, and I ended up swinging by Autozone to have my battery and alternator tested. I learned that my alternator was shot, and that my car would likely die in traffic the same day. Brakes Plus was conveniently located right next door. They were very thorough, ran tests to make sure they ruled everything out. I was able to get the part replaced same day. Upon doing some quick searches, their price for an alternator was comparable to what most places charge. I would recommend this business, and would come in again.

I was already having a very difficult day and my car unexpectedly not working properly was not helping, but Chuck and Jessie really brought some brightness back into my day. Needed brake pads only replaced and cv axels. In the time of 4 separate visits, I had to replace rear break pads a second time, a dust pan they couldn’t put back on properly, and three tries at cv axels. They gave me a kind gift of a wobbly gas peddle which they claimed after three tries was fixed (nope!) Won’t be going back EVER. Makes me sick!

Honesty is the best policy! As a woman I find that Im treated differently whenever I take one of my vehicles to a shop. NOT THIS PLACE! They are always honest and upfront with all costs and wont try to sell me something I dont need. The manager Charles is very helpful and doesnt mind explaining things if needed. I love knowing that I can drop my vehicle off and my needs will be taken care of quickly and efficiently. I will be a return customer for years to come!

Ahmed, John, and his team were fantastic. I came referred from another shop to replace wheel studs that have gone bad. Not only did they get it done on the spot, they replaced the hub to do it properly instead of trying to jerry-rigged the studs out. They were very professional and friendly. You know when everything seems to go all at once? Well, this happened to my Avalanche. First it was the brakes, then after 171,000 miles, the spark plugs, caskets and the computer was reading a bunch of codes that needed addressed. Chuck, understanding that I was on a budget, put together a game plan, in segments, to get my vehicle back to normal without breaking the bank. It has taken a few months, but my vehicle, with new brakes, is also running much smoother, not burning oil and my remote start finally works again! I want to thank Chuck and the crew at Brakes Plus for getting me back onto the road without having to buy a new vehicle. They do more than just brakes! They really take their time finding other underlying issues.
