Asked them to look at an issue with my transmission they didn’t just check codes had an oil change and transmission fluid changed and fuel filters changed cost me 1500 bucks for them to do 1.5hrs worth of work super disappointment in how they treated me as well and now have to find another shop to look at my transmission they didn’t look at. Would not go to drivetec go somewhere else.

Lee and his staff are wonderful! As a woman, I am tired of being underestimated by auto shops, but not DriveTec. A good friend recommended I go there and I will continue the favor and recommend DriveTec to my friends and family!

These guys do not no how to fix cars,had our car there for three day and they had no idea what was wrong with the car, took the car to another shop and found the problem in an hour. Dont get taken by this auto rip off.

If you want a no hassle and reasonable car repair then go to Drive-tec. Tim is very knowledgeable and he keeps you up to date on status of repairs. I am very pleased with them, will go there from now on.

Lee has been servicing my F250 for the best part of a decade. He and Greg have a first class operation at DriveTec. They always work with me to find the best combination of cost and reliability for any given service need. If they find something unexpected Lee rings right up and lets me know what the damage is likely to be. He makes recommendations but you never feel like hes pushing an agenda or a product . The man is as honest as the day is long.

I didnt get very far with this shop. I spoke to a woman with a smokers voice who sounded like she had no knowledge of cars and was completely uninterested in helping me in any way. I told her my situation, what was going on with my vehicle and that it would most likely need a tow. She said basically said call around for that and said they most likely would not be able to get to it today anyways. They might have good mechanics at DriveTec, no idea, but the front end customer service is a complete joke. Good luck if you get this woman..

Took my suv in there because fan wasnt blowing out heat/cold and needed e brake light off to pass emissions. Was told i needed a new motor for the heat/ac fan. Was quoted at over 1200$. Laughed in the old man owners face and told him he was incompetent. Added brake fluid which made the light turn off and replaced the fan, not the motor, for under 100$ and everything works great now. Dont get ripped off by this crooked mechanic, do your homework.

Brought in my Hyundai Tiburon for a few repairs that I had been putting off, these guys did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. I previously took it to another local shop that overcharged me for breaking a seized bolt and blew a speaker while they were at it. Drive Tec is better than that, they have my future business.

I cant say enough about this place. Lee is the most knowledgeable tech Ive ever known and the most honest there is. I will never go anywhere else with all of my vehicles. Hes been a ford guy for 35 years. Knows them inside and out any year. Hes even worked on my BMWs and did a fabulous job. Save yourself time looking for a great place and just take your vehicle to Drive Tec.

Terrible place with excuses, I made a appointment for 3 weeks then they held my car for 2 days with excuses on price estimate on repairs. The owner prefers working on newer cars and will not work on older classic cars unless you leave it there forever to sit. Making excuse that older cars are more difficult when they are the easiest, pure discrimination on classic cars over new cars horrible experience with this business. I would not recommend any classic car owner to take their car here. Very shady untrustworthy business, I do not understand the good reviews probably posted by people they know. Terrible repair shop I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

Lee is the most straightforward and trustworthy mechanic I’ve ever had! My 2009 Mini Cooper had sudden and significant problems last spring. The first place I took it to charged me $1,500 to fix one thing, and then when I had to bring it back almost immediately they said even to open the hood again would be $150 more, even though it was the same problem they had supposedly fixed. The next place said the WHOLE ENGINE needed to be replaced for no less than $9,000!! Thankfully we took it Drivetec next and Lee worked with me to evaluate my needs and talked me through everything he found. He even let me store it until I had the money to fix the issues. What stood out to me was that he talked to me (a young, non-mechanically knowledgeable woman), the exact same way he spoke to my father when my Dad came in to listen to Lee and offer me advice. At other places it always bothered me how I felt talked down to or tugged around by opportunistic mechanics looking to make a bit extra off of an ignorant customer. When the final bill came up it was honest, more than fair, and actually under what he quoted me! I know my experience won’t be everyone’s, but I KNOW that Lee will treat anyone who walks through his door with respect, honesty, and compassion.

Service was done on time and we were informed of all our choices on the repairs including the must haves and the should have options. There is no hard sell for extra work that may not really be needed and lots of communication!

Due to the lack of accountability on the owners end (whom I assume to be Lee) my vehicle was not worked on when we were told it was. He said it would be ready in a week, so I called a week later only to find out it hadnt been even worked on yet when he said it would be ready. Then proceed to tell me it is a quick fix and will only take a few hours Upon receiving my vehicle afterwards I noticed a new dent on the trunk. My boyfriend called to get info on why our property was damaged, we never received a call back an we once again called them only to get inconsistent stories about receiving the message about the damage. We were told that they would look into footage so we could file a proper and complete report to our insurance company. A few days later Lee said he didnt feel like he should have to. Really!?! Our property was damaged on your lot! Take accountability for yourselves! CYA people. I asked about paperwork to sign releasing them from responsibility for damages upon pick up and they had none. Guess its going to be drivetecs loss when we file a report.

Finding a trustworthy mechanic with lots of experience can be difficult! We were so lucky to find these guys. Lee the master technician has been working on ford diesels for something like 30 years. We had just purchased a used truck and wanted it looked over before making a long trip across the country. Also wanted the whistling sound it was making checked into. Lee knew exactly what was causing the whistling sound (a cracked tube which would turn into a safety hazard!) and also found that the computer to the fuel injectors was faulty (which would lead to the car not starting). This is exactly what was starting to happen, and we had not yet realized something was seriously wrong and would continue to get worse. Other mechanics may have said whole computer needed to be replaced (if even able to find out whats wrong) but Lee was able to rebuild part of it instead, saving us some money. Also the EGR had been deleted, which is not something we knew when we bought the truck! Our brokers mechanic somehow missed all that. Drivetec was all booked up for the week, but knowing our situation agreed to squeeze us in by working on our truck between other jobs. They werent just squeezing a short job into their schedule - more like a 9 hour job! And it only took a few days. I was truly impressed with their ability to do this, as well as quality of service, and fairness of price.Not only was the Lee able to diagnose our truck spot on, but he took the time to thoroughly explain everything to us and educate us what needed to be done. He even brought one of the faulty parts out to show us what was going on. He was very honest about what was most concerning, and what we may be able to get away with doing later. Very personable, and took the time to get to know our situation and work with us. Also, its very telling when the shop is clean and organized - which it was. Greg at the front desk was very kind and helpful as well. If we werent moving I would bring my truck to them for anything and everything that needed to be done!

Ive been in many auto repair shops in Loveland over the past 15 years with 3 different past vehicles. Ive seen shops come and go. Ive worked with businesses that start off inexpensive and over the years out grow their origonal customers because lack of customer service.I recently moved. In the middle of my move prior to driving the I-70 west mountain passes at night with a trailer my head light went out on my truck. It was my vehicles design where my front truck grill had to be removed in order to access the head light. Everything these days is plastic. It was dark and cold. And all my tools were packed. What I could get together for tools was leaving plastic clip pieces in my hands with a head lamp shaking on disagreement to its designers. I threw in the towel.The next day I came in to Drive Tec for the first time after driving by the shop daily. I was a little embarrassed and already exhausted and financially stressed and concerned. On short notice they were able to get me in on their schedule in the afternoon to meet the needs of the customers cars up on the rack. It worked out perfect. I had a trailer to pack.Once I mentioned my truck make and model I could tell they understood my pain. I left easily stating that this is by far the best auto/truck repair establishment that Ive ever been to in Colorado. Western Slope and Front Range.Its an atmosphere thats clean and professional with a high amount of honest respect. It was nice that so many different business are with in 5 to 10 minutes of walking distance. Before I could walk to Daddy Os Green Onion for a much needed lunch break and get back. I could see I could hit the road for my 5 hour drive as they were finishing up. The bill was more than fair and honest, I was very relieved to hear the amount.I left asking if I could make a positive feedback comment for the business somewhere. Thats how impressed I was. When I come back home. Its good to know I found a mechanic if I need one!Great Experience. Thank you.
