Karen is a miracle worker! Ive been to 7 different salons in the last 3 months trying to find a good quality manicure with gel/dip that lasts longer than 4 days.My last manicure left my nails so brittle that three of them broke off. Karen applied some tips to the broken nails so I wouldnt have to cut down my other nails. You can even tell which ones broke! Ive been there twice for the Signature pedicure and gel nails. Mia and Hailey have both done amazing jobs. They also did my eyebrow wax. Its been really busy both times I have gone.

I have been using dip on my nails for YEARS. When I moved to Louisville my friend took me to nail box. I have had the same nail tech forever so I was worried. Ya’ll please do yourself a favor and see Andy at Nail Box. Whoa. He knows what he’s doing!!! I am super picky about my nails. Andy is amazing. He listens to what I want. I am so glad I found him and I love the atmosphere at Nail box! I will always make an appointment from my appointment because Andy stays booked! Love Nail Box!

We had two pedicures, two manicures, and one set of acrylic nails. My 13 yr old had dip nails to remove before getting acrylics. Instead of soaking off with acetone like other salons, they clipped them off and used the drill — which hurt!!! They didn’t trim our toe nails until we asked them to. The nail art (just a simple heart) was terrible; I could have done better myself at home! I wouldn’t recommend.

I came into this shop as a new customer referred to me by one of my co workers who raved about how nice of a salon this one was and how great they do. Off of appearance the salon was beautifully kept and clean and all of the staff were nicely presentable, kind, and very informative on what the salon offered. I wanted a salon closer to work so I’d be able to come in before or after my shift and this one was perfect. Tee the owner did my nails and gave me exactly what I asked for! She did a awesome job perfecting the shape and paint job. I would definitely recommend this salon to others. I have gotten so many compliments on my full set!

Came here for the first time as i am new to the st matthews area. they got me in immediately which was a pleasant surprise as they were pretty busy. Moe did my dip service and he did an awesome job, i’m not someone who enjoys sitting and getting my nails done, but he was fast and efficient. will definitely be back!

I used to like it here. Today I have an appointment with my usual nail lady but she called in. Salon told me that they try to contact me but they couldnt. I look at my phone and there neither missed call nor text. I am accepting someone else to do my pedi but my dip need to come out. It too long so I tell them that I will take it out and come back later to get it done with my usual lady. So the girl who do my nail today was rush and scratch my skin on my finger then because we have to use that hash chemical to take dip off it was burning my skin. She was act like it wasnt a big deal yes it is little scratch but it burn and hurt. I cant relax throughout my pedi. And she also charge to tell dip out when they usually do it for free if u get new dip but the reason I dont get it done it not my own fault. So $34 pedicure turn to $47. and it wasnt good. Never again. Im looking for new nail salon.They got 2 star because my usual nail lady was good. To bad, I cant deal with business like this.

Love this place! Very friendly, efficient, and great work. I got a beautiful dip service with nail tips done on a weekend and the following week, by my own fault, one of them broke. The owner insisted that fix it free of charge!! They got me on straight away both times, no waiting at all. The staff is friendly and my nails always look amazing when I leave.

I went to get my nails done there on Monday afternoon by Wednesday afternoon to started Shipping, I called and they said you can come in and get them fixed but we can’t do nothing else but I’m having car trouble so I can go all the way over there and get them fixed.The general manager had a really bad nasty attitude and said I’m sorry but we can’t do nothing and hung up the phone. Never going back there again and telling everyone and all my friends how bad of a service they have

I would give this place 5 stars, but after repetitive rudeness from the front desk girl (she also does the eyebrows), I can’t.I’ve referred so many people here and they all say the same: the techs, the cleaning lady, the manager, cleanliness are all great. But as an establishment, your first impression is someone who is rude makes you want to try other spots in the area.Ps. Tips are only cash or Venmo. Can’t add them on CC.

The nail box on Shelbyville road is AMAZING!!!! When my son was still a tiny we went out there and the owner offered to feed my son bc he was crying and all of the workers were SUPER compassionate asking his age etc.. the Nail Box is great

I walked in for my appointment and the COVID protocol was politely explained to me, step-by-step. The protocol was efficient and I was quickly provided with my service. Amy did a great job helping me select a dip option and I am very happy with the outcome. I highly recommend visiting Nailbox Louisville, even during a pandemic! They took the healthiest precautions and still made you feel pampered and appreciated.

Great customer service every time I come here. I love how organized they are and that they take appointments. I never have to wait if I have an appointment. This evening I got a pedi and dip mani. I was going to get matching polish, but realized I wanted a darker color for my finger nails after my toe nails were painted. The nail technician Ann offered to redo my toe nail polish and it was after they closed. I told her that there was no need but I really appreciated. Now that’s great customer service. And it’s always so clean!

Lily is the best and the sweetest...I will never go anywhere else or to anyone else. They are the most professional and kindest nail place I have ever been to. They arent afraid to recommend what will suit you and your nails best. Love them!

Missed my original appt with my favorite nail technician there, my fault!!!, but really needed to get my nails done on my only off day before the rest of my work week. After visiting nailbox 3 times, there is only one technician there I will book with and I’ve learned now if I don’t, I will not receive top notch service. I made another appointment after I missed my original one, like I mentioned was my fault for missing, but after rescheduling, I got there early and waited half an hour for a technician (past my appt time). I couldn’t tell you the lady’s name that did my nails because she wasn’t wearing a name tag. I was fine to wait the time for her to see me as I’d missed my original appt, even though I made an appointment, and it was obvious they were busy! However, after the nail tech started on me, she was not friendly in the slightest, and proceeded to PLAY VIDEO GAMES on her cellphone in between doing my nails. And I don’t just mean while she was soaking the polish off, I mean she would literally file a nail, check her phone, file a nail, check her phone. She wouldn’t dismiss her phone long enough for the screen to even dim!!! VERY unprofessional. Especially in the line of service, which I also work in, I would never be on my phone while performing my job duties. I felt even worse knowing that the rest of the salon was so busy, that she wasted time on her phone while doing my nails. I sat an hour and a half in total for a dip manicure (usually about 45 minutes). She also left my nails messy, cotton ball strands still attached, and didn’t apply any hand lotion or additional services that come with a “manicure” other than polish change and a file. Very disappointed this time around. Will not be using any other technician there than my girl! Will definitely reschedule if I can’t get in with her!

Went in for mani/pedi. The pedicure was rushed even though there werent many people there. I was supposed to get warm towel wrap on both legs, Karen tossed a warm towel over both my legs and walked away. She barely worked the toenails. During my manicure she pulled skin off a nail causing it to bleed, my nails were cut lopsided. I asked her to buff my nails shiney but she kept saying clear coat and I said no. Not worth the money.

Omg MOE!!! When he walked up i instantly thought this was going to be a bad trip! That’s why it doesn’t pay to be judgmental! He gave me the most natural dip set ive ever had! I’ll never go elsewhere! He’s sweet too! Thanks Moe!

My nails took forever for a fill and my hands were destroyed... Really careless filing and I was in pain for a lot of it. The girl who came with me had dip tips removed and redone before I finished my fill. She sat with acetone on her hands long enough for it to burn and had no lotion or oil, so her hands were so dry. Wouldnt recommend.

I have been going here for years. Absolutely love it. I love that you can get a free drink. My nails always look fabulous. Hopefully I can come back soon for a new full set.

A tad pricey. But they take walk ins and are very nice. Always have workers ready so you dont have to wait.

Very professional which is sometimes hard to find in a nail salon. I ran out of time due to my own poor planning and so I was only able to remove my dip polish and paid $10. The salon called me after I left to get me rescheduled, and then they put that $10 towards my service when I came in the following day and sat me right away. Both times I was there it was full and no one was waiting, they have the system down and are efficient. Will be back.

I went to this nail salon today and got one of the best manicures ever from Katelyn, but the customer service provided by the young girls at the front was astonishing. I finally had the time to treat myself to a study break from the bar exam, working 60 hours a week, and just the stress of 2020 in general. I walked in I was yelled at by 3 people, who were all telling me different things. I was told to grab a pen, sign in, get hand sanitizer and do my temp check. I tried to do so in that order and got yelled at. After that, I was instructed to wash my hands, I have never been there and was a little thrown off by how I was treated so I asked where to go and the young girls at the front laughed at me and said “uhm where the sink is”. I have never been so upset by customer service. I am unimpressed by how they “welcomed” me as a new customer. It was unprofessional, inappropriate, and down right rude. The price and value for the quality of the manicure is outstanding, but don’t expect anything from the girls at the front.

I went here for the first time today and I am very disappointed with my nails. I had to tell my tech 5 times to reshape them and they are still not correct. She missed steps doing the dip. I had to ask her to please drill underneath my nails. I would not recommend them. I will never cheat on my normal nail place again.

I’ve never had any bad reactions when she waxes my brows and they’re always sculpted to the gods. Katelyn does an amazing job with dip nails and pays close attention to detail. 1st time going and I had a great experience! Theyre following all CDC COVID guidelines! Had a great tech Anne who was very nice. Unfortunately she was unable to polish my hands & toes because I had to rush out to pick up my daughter from a surgical procedure but she was very accommodating! My feet feel fabulous after my Pedi & Parafon Wax!!

I will definitely not return got my feet done and felt rushed and they wasn’t even busy, didn’t really scrub or scrape feet off well at at then get one hot towel to just lay over both feet. Worst 37$ I ever spent.

Great experience! The salon is really clean and well decorated which is always a plus. David did my dip nails as well as put a few tips on some of my shorter nails. He took his time and made sure they were literally perfect, and they look awesome. The price point can’t be beat either! Will definitely be making this my new salon. My friend recommended this place to me after I had a bad experience at another salon. This place is amazing! The service is phenomenal, very hygienic and prompt, and they offer complimentary wine!!! I have been living in Louisville for a year now and have gone to SO many nail salons looking for a technician who could really give a proper pedicure. Alas, I have found Nail Box!!! The owner cam up and introduced herself. Andy, my technician, had wonderful hands and his massage technique was outstanding! I have found my nail sanctuary!! One stop and youll be hooked!!!

CiCi did my pedicure. She did an amazing job! She took her time to make sure and give me the personal attention I needed after the long week of work I had. My feet and legs have never felt better. This was my first time coming here, I was recommended by a friend. She said they were amazing and she was right. I’m never going anywhere but here from now on! Amazing work!

I just moved to Louisville and was looking for a new nail lady. So I was just passing by in search for a nail salon and decided to walk in the Nail Box. It’s nice and clean inside and they sat me down really fast. The only thing I didn’t like was the man who I got to do my nails. I’ve been getting my nails done for a while now and I can tell from the beginning if the person is going to do a good job or not. The gel was done uneven and it just doesn’t look neat. The guy also cut my cuticle while filing the nail on my thumb. So unfortunately the overall experience was not great.

I am a mom of 3 under 5 and rarely have a chance to do anything for myself. My first day out with baby I decided to treat myself by getting a long overdue manicure. When she unexpectedly woke up, staff went above and beyond by walking her around the salon so I could get my nails done in peace. Happy baby, happy mama and each time I leave my nails look lovely. Great service and everyone is so friendly and professional. Its the only place I will go!

I had my nails done,I had told the person doing my nails o wanted a fairly comfortable lenth.he proceeded to cut and file them down extreamly short.also had 4 nails going crucked. I thought he was going to correct it.but didnt.o went t back to get it corrected.the owner was extreamly rude and told me it was my fault.Really!I proceeded to walk back to wash my hands,when the owner pushed me.i was upset that she was that unprofessional, but didnt say anything. I sat down and had someone else do my nails to correct them.but 4 were still chucked. I just wanted to get out of there.that was the worse experience and very unprofessional I have ever endured.o do not recommend the Nsil Box.nobody should ever be so rude to customers!!!!@!

This was my first time going to this location. The staff are nice the young lady who greeted me with the pretty purple blue hair is Awesome! Sad thing though the young man who did my nails obviously was never trained! He was very sweet, but he filed my nails so thin with that electric filer they were like paper! I had to return to have my toe re-polished he misses one yes missed one as well my gel was off my nail this was after one day! Then I had to go get anothe repaired the next week the gel came off and broke my nail hed made so then. And both thumbs were chipped. This time the lady who repaired my nails half repaired and filed my nail crooked! Another broke and gel chipped the next day after the repair! Id paid $80 so was going to go back and ask for another repair since he hadnt even been 2 weeks and Id already required 5 repairs and needed another. But I decided to cut my losses I will not be going back to the nail box! Will miss the courteous staff but I would like the work to good as well!

Bibi was wonderful. I came in with a dip manicure that had grown out. Instead of sanding and scraping like most other salons, Bibi sanded only the top layer off and soaked my nails for 10 minutes so the polish came off without removing any layers of my natural nail. Her attention to detail was impeccable and even offered an additional coat of polish. The hand massage was one of the best I have ever gotten from a nail salon. Absolutely everytime I need to get my nails done again, I will come back here.

Andy was awesome. He was very attentive, fixed two nails that felt rough to him, and offered drinks.Tiffany was good too she did a great job on my moms nails.

Cannot rave enough about this place I’ve been going for the past several months. Have told all my co-workers and friends this is place to be! Literally every tech there gives great service ! I’m never disappointed. Have tried other salons in Louisville and no one comes close. Chi, Jayden, and Moe have taken care of me the last few times and every one is so nice especially the management.

Have been going here for a few years now. Wonderful atmosphere. Great service. Most speak English very well which is nice when explaining what you want done. Ill keep coming back!

Not only could they accommodate me but I found their salon clean and inviting. Their services were amazing and the owners were friendly and extremely focused on customer care. Place was clean and people were nice. Got dip with tips and a pedicure. The girl who did my pedicure did an awful job. I had to keep asking her was she forgetting to do things. Pedicure area was nice. They can service many people. Got the dip with tips on my nails, nail still lifting after a few days which confused me. My nails were also lumpy from the tip area down. I visited this place because of the great reviews and wasn’t satisfied. 😢

I went to get a full dip powder set last Thursday, The 5th. everyone was very nice and so was my nail technician but he did a horrible job, my nails are uneven, lumpy, and i already have grow out?? he couldn’t have covered the whole nail at all because it already looks like i’ve had them for 2 weeks. They need to be fixed but at this point i’m afraid to go back.

Horrible. It was my first time visiting this nail salon and I won’t be back. I got a gel polish change and when all said and done it looked like my 5 year old daughter painted them. Nail polish all around cuticles and skin on the sides. Polish was put on extremely thick and had big lumps towards the tops of all my nails. Two of them got dinged in the process and the nail tech just polished over them quickly so when they dried it looked like I had craters in my nails. 4 nails chipped bad after only 4 days! They were extremely ugly and I was embarrassed of my nails! Couldn’t wait to get them redone elsewhere.

Overall my experience was less than mediocre. The salon itself is clean which is a definite positive, but I waited 30 minutes when I had a scheduled appointment and left disappointed. I specifically called and asked to make sure they could provide what I wanted (which was ombré acrylics) and I got there and they looked at me like I was crazy and told me they couldnt do that. The prices are ridiculous in my opinion, for what I left with, though they seemed reasonable for other services and Ive only gotten dip nails one other time, so I could be unaware of prices for this elsewhere. I paid $60 for ombré dip nails that look horrendous. I could have done a better job myself if I had all of the same products.I drove an hour to get here from Fort Knox because they had great reviews, but Ill just stick to LAmour Nails in Elizabethtown from now on.In response to the owner: I appreciate the apology, but you were all too busy to talk to and I didnt feel confident I would have left with anything I was happy with, as I was already incorrectly informed about the services rendered at your business. I was afraid you would just charge me even more money that I didnt want to spend on something I didnt want, so I left. Also, the review is for my own experience and not my mothers, I dont speak for her but I will urge her to write a positive review.
