Beautiful venue but drinks are outrageous and the COVID policy is pointless. Gentlemen checking IDs for alcohol bracelets was wearing mask around his chin while he stood 6 inches from you to put a bracelet on you. But yet I have to show vaccine proof or a negative test to attend the venue?? Where was this guys test to breathe in thousands of peoples faces?
Beautiful venue, didnt seem to be a bad seat in the theater.
A wonderful experience at a gorgeous venue. We even ran into hiccups that were resolved quickly and as discreetly as possible.
Excellent venue for concert. Beer and mixed drinks are very high around $14 to $ 21 each depending on your drink but otherwise an excellent venue.
Absolutely stunning inside, freon the outside it looks like a normal theater. Once you walk in, you want to pull your phone out and start snapping pictures. The architecture is beautiful, the painted ceilings, the statues, and then the shows. They have great management team that takes care of the customer. Will definitely return.
Beautiful venue. Always nice to see these being used.
We saw RBRM here and they put on a really good show. This was my first time coming to this venue and i must say i was impressed. The sculptures and paintings were amazing. The seats could have been bigger but basically every seat was a pretty good view. The sound was good too and the staff was helpful.
Seen Theresa caputo she was amazing but it was way to hot inside to enjoy the show. Maybe turn the air down even Theresa was complaining how hot it was.
An awesome venue located in downtown Louisville. Wonderfully restored early twentieth century theater with all appointments as one would expect. No detail missing from this magnificent place of history and entertainment. A must see for anyone who has an interest in aesthetics. Definitely a repeat.Highly recommended.
Beautiful!! I love going to the Palace for concerts. Because of the seats, its not the greatest for rock shows where you want to mosh, surf, or dance unless you are in the pit. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful! Unlike Louisvilles stadium, the Palace staff are great with helping ADA patrons and do everything they can to make your visit memorable!
I went to the Palace for their Harry Potter Yule Ball event. As an avid Harry Potter fan, I was not disappointed. They went all out on decor and activities. They had live owls and snakes! Not to mention the amazing dance floor! The Palace staff obviously takes pride in their events and does their best to make your experiences unforgettable!
Top notch venue! Plenty of seating, reserved and clean. Loved the concerts I saw, and enjoyed the marquee lounge, as it was not crowded and a great place to sit, have a drink while waiting between bands, and/or chill while a show was going on. There are TVs to watch the shows live, free food (you do pay extra for access to the lounge), a pool.table, two bars, and room to stretch out.
Great place holding many events, old movies, live performances, etc. we went to see hocus pocus. Picture and sound wad really good. Pictures dont do this place justice, its enormous and you really need to see every detail in person. My only issue for this event was that they were not prepared for as many people to show up and want drinks and food. Concession lines were extremely long. Will definitely be going back, but will probably grab food before I go.
Love this venue. Love the architecture. Love the shows.
What a beautiful, atmospheric, not-a-bad-seat-in-the-entire-place is the Louisville Palace Theatre. If you have any opportunity to see a beloved band here, just do it. Reasonable booze prices, very comfortable seating, great acoustics. Not a bad word to be said from me. Swa Allman Bros and Weird Al a few years back here. Saw King Diamond on Saturday last and going to see Alice Cooper tomorrow. Shinedown in March... all at the palace...great venue for up close and personal rock. Love the place.
Went for The Price is Right Live. It was a good show. The venue is beautiful and is a definite thing to view if you are in the area. They are doing construction outside (March 1) which made getting in a little difficult. Be prepared for a baggage search and going through metal detector as you enter. This place does have ADA seats but they are extremely limited.
Its inexpensive, its nice and its small so youre not that far from the stage with ok seats. Great place to go for a concert. You actually get to see and really hear the person you going for. I went to a Maxwell concert there and heres some pictures.
Awesome venue! Loved seeing The Secret Sisters here with Shovels & Rope and Brandi Carlile!! Such a beautiful place. The only thing that I would recommend is eating before you go bc they don’t sell much food. I had peanuts and skittles for dinner. Great atmosphere! Love their sign too!
An amazing piece of art in its self. I drove from northern Indiana to go see a band, but was astounded at the art and old century feel to it. The acoustics were great. The only downfall o saw was there were no areas with no seats for people to get into the intense music, but its completely saved by the venue and acoustics its self
Amazing venue.
Beautiful venue for a show. We saw Trevor Noah! The drinks are expensive but lines moved quickly. The restrooms had long lines after the show. One of the stalls didnt lock and was difficult to use that way with huge lines. The restroom was also out of soap. The reason for 4 stars is mainly due to the restroom issues and overpriced drinks. Staff was friendly.
First concert in Louisville at the Palace. Nice cozy theatre to see a concert or show. Close to places to eat and enjoy. Good acoustic sound will be back
We thoroughly enjoyed the theater. It is well laid out with ample access to get a beverage (adult or otherwise). The architecture is amazing! The theater is showing a little wear but it doesnt take away the beauty and craftsmanship used in building this venue. Definitely worth seeing an event here!
I loved it had a great time just didnt realize there were so many steps Ill be on the front row next time
This place is awesome for concerts and any kind of theater performances.
Nice venue. I just am not a fan of seats for a rock show.
Amazing atmosphere.Bring plenty of money if you plan to buy drinks.Cant wait to catch another show here.
One of the most beautiful theaters I have been in!
Saw a tribute show there. The seating layout was good but for people off to the side, its a bit rough. The people working there are very nice. Very beautiful place too. Its worth seeing something there.
The Palace, located in the Heart of Louisvilles downtown commercial district, is an excellent venue for any type of concert. The grand opening of the Palace was in 1928. I can only imagine the excitement of all the attendees. That same excitement is evident today as you watch those who attend events at the Palace marvel at the architectural beauty of this structure. Enjoy a show at The Palace and have a wonderful evening!
Cool place. Nice venue.
What a beautiful venue!! I was blown away!! Drinks were a little pricey but it seems like everything is, nowadays.
I love going here. Its historical and full of stories. Beautiful building!!
Great venue, easy parking across the street, well air conditioned!
Louisville’s best music venue. Really not a “bad” seat in the house.
Saw Brit Floyd here, who was amazing by the way. If youre a Pink Floyd fan they are a mist see. Not a huge venue which works well acoustically. Really pretty design inside. Staff was helpful and nice, bathrooms seemed clean. My only complaint had to do with cell phones. Several people were recording what seemed like the entire concert. One guy was facetiming during it. Its so distracting and annoying when my view is blocked by someones bright screen or phone being held in the air. If movie theaters can ban/limit cell phone use why cant music venues? I really hope this venue and others adopt more restrictive cell phone policies.
Beautiful theater. Wonderful experience with Jason Mraz and company. The staff was super friendly and knew the history of the theater. Beautiful venue, great acoustics, rich in history and a quick trip from home.
A little pricey but a beautiful venue for entertainment.
Great place to see a show. My only complaint is the aisles are too narrow. If you are 6 or over youll have achy knees by the end of the show. Other than that it was a 5/5. Staff, decor, location, show variety all top notch.
Very nice place for music, how about some food. Only downside is no food.
Love this place. Great atmosphere. Not a bad seat in the house. The Price is Right live was awesome!
Kip Moore Concert Excellent Place To Enjoy 😉 Great 👍🏼 Music
Amazing venue. The atmosphere was banging and the staff was super helpful.
Wow. This place was amazing. My boyfriend and I went to see Ghost and wow what an amazing venue.
Very beautiful artwork & decor💜 The sound system was outstanding!!
They dont answer emails.
Enjoyed the venue setting. The Gin Blossoms and Punchline were awesome. Being at the Mercury Ballroom made the experience that much better. My wife said the bathrooms need some work. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nicer bathrooms and it would be 5 stars
Beautiful theater! the seats are comfortable and it is all around an awesome place
What a beautiful venue. Drove down from North East Ohio to see Brothers Osborne and Charlie Worsham. Had a great time.
My passengers loved the concert its was five stat plus
Gorgeous theater. Fantastic place to see a concert
This is a classic Art Deco theatre from the 1920s. Beautiful place to take in a show. Acoustics are perfect. Sight angles are great.
The Palace Theater is the best small concert venue in Louisville. Not to mention the interior is just breathtaking.
Stunning venue. Staff was great.
What a beautiful place the architecture was just wonderful
Loved it would recommend it to everyone.
One of the great places to see a concert. Dont think about it... just go. You wont regret it!
The venue is wonderful. Amazing architecture. Plenty of parking garages surrounding the place. The event I attended had ticket pickup at the box office only. Just one little door for the little box office room. Lots of people trying to get in and out and then had to get in line again to get in the venue. Thought that was a little silly to be almost late for the show when I showed up so early
Beautiful venue. Loved it
Beautiful theater! The Wall Live Extravaganza ... Awesome show! Make plans to visit when one of your acts comes to town. You Wont be disappointed.
While the theater is old, it has been remodeled and is BEAUTIFUL. The sound acoustics were great as well. The size is nice and all seats give a great view of the stage.
Brit floyd was a great night
Such a beautiful place and fine art work
Absolutely gorgeous venue, the concert I saw was fantastic
Great location prefect size.
Jason Boham - Led Zeppelin Experience
Still a wonderful venue.
Had a wonderful time.
I loved it. So beautiful.
Aptly named, the Palace alone is worth the price of admission, shes a beauty. Recently attended Bob Weir and the Wolf Brothers
We attended the University of Louisville Fryberger Greek talent show which our son participated in for a second year. This theatre is gorgeous from days gone by. This year, I am so glad I ordered tickets early and got orchestra seats because they were amazing.
Cool building. Every seat is a good one. Loses a star because neighborhood outside can be rough late at night.
The most beautiful theatre ever. Like a castle in a fairy tale :) watching any concert here is a special experience.
This is the greatest venue in Kentucky and maybe, the world. There isn’t a bad seat in the house, it’s always clean, the location is great, there’s a great mix of antique and technology and the architecture is incredible. Go there every chance you get; I’ve never been disappointed.
This place was originally a marvel of architecture. Thanks to a multimillion-dollar renovation, it is no less than a marvel again. I have seen Morrissey and Ghost there, and--although these two artists are extremely different--the venue greatly enhanced the atmosphere of both shows.
Great concert lived everything about it
This is one of the most stunning venues in our city. If you get the chance to see anything there do so bc the ambiance is amazing.
Love the Palace, not a bad seat in the house. Loved seeing Old Crow Medicine Show
Awesome and Beautiful Theater.
Went to see Brain Candy a great show. The architecture, decor, and history are amazing. The stage alone should be in an art museum. If you are going to see a show go early and tour the theater. Drinks and food were about double what I expected to pay but the experience is worth it.
Absolutely breathtaking place. The architecture is beautiful and the acoustics are great. I would definitely go here again for another concert.
It always amazes me, after being in Louisville 5 years, to see a new gem ! This theater was restored in the 90s ! Its just unreal ! You have to see it, it is like walking back in time.
The palace is amazing. The interior decoration is a throwback to a classier time. The acoustic are amazing.
Very nice. Absolutely beautiful. Sound was wonderful.
Saw Diana Ross there. Great show and great venue.
Anita Baker concert was a grown and sexy event that was Epic
