The property gave me a big city feel. The staff was absolutely amazing! I felt right at home every time I called the office with questions of my own. They are very attentive and warming with genuine concern for my wants and needs. I would tell everyone and I have told everyone to check Urban out! I cannot wait for this to become my future home.
I’m currently looking for apartments and took a tour here. The staff responded to my inquiry almost immediately and let me view a few apartments that same day! Alexis was very friendly and informative. The two bedroom units are also bigger than expected.
Well entering into the building, I was greeted by two staff members Phillip and Alexis with very nice and warm spirits. Then we proceeded to walk about the property, the unit i was shown was really nice but not the size I was looking for. But I definitely think it would be a nice place to live.
RENT HERE, if you want good customer service, prompt action to any concerns or complaints, which were very minimal, and just an overall good leasing experience. The office staff really helped me get get my apartment last minute and it was not a huge issue at all, moving from out of town, not knowing the different laws for each state. Id still be living in my car if they hadnt gone above and beyond to help me in a very tight unexpected situation.
This is hands down one of best downtown properties i have seen. The staff is so friendly and helpful, The property manager Phil was very knowlegdeable about the property and the surrounding area. Very responsive via email. I definitely feel much better about relocating to downtown LOUISVILLE.
My move in experience with Urban Flats was nothing more than amazing. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and super cool. If you are looking for a nice and affordable apt near the downtown area please check these out!!!!!
Leasing office staff is friendly and attentive. I love that my unit has new black appliances. Garage is also a plus with Louisville’s random weather. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to come downtown
These apartments are pretty friggin awesome. Affordable AF for downtown lou. My apartment is big and the staff is so easy to talk to and they are very helpful. Mr. Phil and Ms. Alexis are so nice! Its quiet here and well kept. 5 stars Urban Flats*****
Urban Flats is probably one of the best places I’ve ever rented! The staff is friendly, kind, as well as hip with the times!! The area has really come along way! Thank you to the staff for making my stay so incredible!
The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I am new to the area and urban flats is at the top of my list
I absolutely love the team here at Urban Flats! Each time I have a leasing question or a maintenance request they are quick to respond!
Place is nice very quiet. Needs new washers and dryer in laundry room and parking garages need to be cleaned
This place is so cute.
Finally, a team that is in the office and helps the residents! Keeping on keeping on!
I stopped in a few weeks ago to look at this apartment complex as I might be moving to Louisville for a job offer and I loved it. They are making some great changes and updates! It looks like a resort with all the cool furniture and roof top amenities! The clubhouse has lots to do and it looks like a great community. Nothing in the area compares to it.
This community was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. Everything was so beautiful that I felt like I was at a resort. The office staff Amber, shes extremely accommodating and friendly also. It could not be better located and was amidst a lot of shops, restaurants, transportation and schools. It is a gated community so itll be safe and secured all the time. They have a heated parking lot which is very convenient to any season. It offered amenities that most communities did not.
I was scheduled to move in the Urban Flats on May of 2017. The property manager (Amber) gave me keys to the apartment early as a courtesy to gradually move in, instead of having to move everything in on the scheduled move in date. However when I showed up to the apartment with some of my belongings, I was met by the maintenance crew who was still painting, hanging light fixtures, cleaning appliances etc. The apartment was in now way ready to move in. The maintenance guy told me to come back in two days and everything would be finished; upon arrival, once again the apartment was still a mess and it even had urine left in the toilet. This time I contacted Amber via email to explain the situation and to ensure the apartment would be ready by my regular scheduled move in date per the lease. She assured me it would be taken care of. On the scheduled move in date I showed up with a truck full of my belongings at 11am only to find out the apartment was not ready for me to move in. I called the apartment manager (Amber) and did not get an answer, I left a voice mail but did not receive a call back. I was forced to put my things in storage. I went back to the apartment the same day about 1:30pm and I found Amber and the maintenance crew hurrying to try to get my apartment ready to be moved in. My apartment was not ready on the scheduled move in date per the lease agreement and I was forced to stay with a friend. I then emailed Amber to inform her I did not want to move in any longer and that I would be returning the keys. 10 months later, I received a phone call from a debt collector trying to collect $1400 for breaking a lease with Urban Flats (Village Green). I never once received an email, a letter or a phone call regarding any debt until now and the lease was broken when the apartment was not ready to be moved into in May 2017 so I should not owe anything. Save yourselves a headache and dont sign a lease. Keep looking.
If I could give this place 0 stars on Google, I would. My partner and I lived here from June 2018-September 2019 and during that time we went through SIX different property managers. Alltrade bought out the location about 2 months into our lease and never provided us with an updated Alltrade lease, which caused an array of issues during the following months. The property manager(s) were never on the premises or in the office if a tenant needed assistance, and when calling their office, no one would answer or respond to voicemails. The only way to contact anyone was through email, which wasnt that helpful when things were broken inside the apartment and you needed someone to contact immediately. When calling their 24 hour hotline, we were treated with disrespect and the workers acted like our problems were a burden for them. We went an entire month during the summer with no A/C (the hottest month with 100+ degree weather (with 2 dogs), we even had to supply our own window unit because they couldnt purchase one fast enough) even though we had a clause in our lease that guaranteed a 48 hour turn around time on broken appliances, etc. We were lied to about multiple instances of bed bugs in other apartments (people in hazmat suits were throwing furniture over the railings into a truck to clear out bedbug infested apartments), watched the police bust down a tenants door, the landscaping and areas for pets were never kept clean (dog waste was everywhere, you couldnt even walk through the grass without stepping in it), the fountain out front was never drained and turned into a mosquito haven. When we moved out, they tried to charge us with an entire months rent, even though our lease upon moving in, guaranteed pro-rated rent. Now, 2 months after moving out, they are trying to charge us for an entire months rent worth of damages. In the state of Kentucky, property managers have 30 days from the time of moving out to provide tenants with deposits, damages, etc, so this is ridiculously unacceptable. Out of all rental properties Ive ever lived in, in the past decade, this place is the absolute worst of all of them. I will never recommend living here.
Photos online are misleading. Prices quoted to me were not for the renovated apartment. While the staff was very nice, I felt lied to. A lot of their apartments are “classic” meaning unrenovated and they don’t show you that on their website. I was not even able to see the style apartment I would be getting when I toured the facility. I drove 3 hours to not even see what I’d move in to.I was also met by a man urinating on the sidewalk upon exit. It’s not the greatest area.
Lived here for 2 years. Anytime i had a problem, Dennis and Jack always responded promptly. they dont have hidden rules to screw the residents as some communities do. best part is that they dont hesitate to go out of way to help the residents.
The Worthington Apartments is without a doubt the worst experience you will ever have. We lived at the Worthington three months, before finding it necessary to purchase a home immediately. The building itself is not well maintained and is far from safe. It took management one month to fix a broken garage door, leaving residents with limited access to parking in an unsafe neighborhood. Management would also allow trash to pile up, which included leaving a sofa next to the dumpster for two weeks, all while the homeless would sleep next to the building/dumpster. Office management is impossible to contact and a complete disaster, not cashing checks for weeks upon end. I would not advise the Worthington to my worst enemy.
I have lived here for some time now. I have no plans to move, this is a great place live, just a great community.
I have lived here for 3 years now, and plan on spending 2 more years at least. It is one of only a few places downtown that is gated with an attached garage. This prevents walking outside at night, and aids security. Each apartment has a security system, and has the ability to have a w/d in the apartment. However, community laundry is available if needed. Some apartments are roomy, but most, like mine, are smaller. However it is plenty of room when furniture is arranged carefully. The management has always been very helpful. Anytime something needed fixed or changed they fixed it quickly. Its not a huge building, and that makes it like a small community. It is staffed appropriately to function quickly and effectively. The management lives in the building, and I think it makes it nicer since the landlord takes good care of the place, and makes it a home for us all. It has a dishwasher and all other appliances, along with individual heating and air. I also find the apartments very quiet and peaceful most of the time. I would however not consider it luxury. They are just normal and clean, but still nice apartments to me. Therefore, there is no granite, wood floors, or any of that nice stuff. The appliances and cabinets are a little dated, but work just fine. Its very clean and well kept, and a great place to live. Its also in a good location for fun, restaurants, and is close to UofL-HSC, UofL, and JCTC. Overall great place to live in a great location:)
I use to live here and the manager named Dennis is RUDE!! Hes doesnt do anything for the residents and hes lazy. All he does is sit around all day smoking his cigs and when someone complains about other residents he doesnt get the whole story. He just goes off what they said! Plus the apartments are nasty and dirty and DOESNT get cleaned...**DO NOT MOVE INTO THE WORTHINGTON APARTMENTS, ITS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY**
