I just moved in and honestly I LOVE this place, my apartment is beautiful the view I have is amazing it’s peaceful and quiet. The staff has been great to me from the first phone inquiry all the way down to the day I moved in! Kara specifically has helped me so so much she got me hooked up with a great renters insurance deal and walked me all the through the application process signing the lease all the information and documentation that I was going to need. I probably would have been clueless if Kara wouldn’t have been there to help me ! I absolutely love it here and I think my son does as well. Finding my first home couldn’t have gone any better.

This complex is great! Fairly large and clean apartments with a nice pool and a decent fitness center (more than enough for a solid workout.) The complex also just got repaved roads/speed bumps that enhance the overall appeal. Kara and Karesa are both sweet and friendly & helped us so much during the move-in process. The staff are very communicative of things happening around the complex and maintenance is responsive and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend :)

Karesa and Cara, the property managers are amazing. Maintenance gets completed in a timely manner and sufficiently. The grounds are quite and everyone is respectful. It’s a great place to live.

10/10 all around. This is the best apartment complex that I have ever been to in my life. It is a privilege to live in such an amazing place with great individuals. The price of the apartment combined with the square footage makes this complex unbeatable in Louisville.

Okay...where to start? So I was in a not so good living situation with my previous apartment complex.( theft, maintenance issues all the way down to just unfriendly staffing) I was thankful to get out of my lease with them and I luckily found legends apartments at Indian Springs. So let’s start with the apartments themselves.Without going into a crazy amount of detail I’ll just say that they’re amazing inside and out. High ceilings make for a very spacious one bedroom and the fire place is just a *chefs kiss* of perfection, especially because they’re not guess they’re actually wood-burning believe it or not. Not what truly made this entire situation so easy for me and easy for me to decide that this was where I wanted to live was the leasing manager in the office, her name is Kara Franzman and she’s absolutely wonderful.Kara has a unique ability to make you feel like family when your signing a lease, checking you mail, reporting an issue or just walking your dog. She goes above and beyond to make things as easy for you as they possibly can be and without over extending ones self. I can truly say that this apartment felt like a nice place to stay but Kara made this feel like home. So I’d have to give this place five out of five stars for the complex and five out of five stars for the staffing. Thank you legends and thank you Kara.

We have absolutely loved living here! They have a fun playground and lots of grassy areas for our child. They bring in all kinds of food trucks, and send fun tidbit emails with fun information! They make living here so much fun! We walk the trails as much as we can, too!

There so much to express how amazing this neighborhood is!!! I moved here from Florida and Kara the leasing agent is such a sweetheart. She made sure to get me everything and done before coming here to Kentucky. I definitely don’t regret it !!! this place is awesome and is definitely worth living here !!!The neighborhood is safe and in a very convenient location!!! Kara and Karesa made the applying process super easy and helped me every step of the way. They stayed late to answer all of my questions after a late tour, all while being fun and professional!

This place is the worst experience I have ever went thru with an apartment complex! It is very dirty they look nice on the outside but terrible on inside, if you get a 3rd floor the ac never works. The main person at the front office carrisa has harassed me and my family to the point where we needed to move out so it didn’t go on any longer. You smell weed from inside other residence. The community is not friendly people do not talk to you at all, so if ur looking for an apartment I would suggest anything else BUT THIS ONE!!

Moving into the area for work but need my employer to approve of the distance from my start so was unsure if Id be able to rent here. I filled out the application and let the leasing office know this but they still charged my account a non refundable amount without communicating it to me.

I currently have been very satisfied with the comfort of Legends at Indian Springs. Karesa Phillips has always been such help and knows a face, even with you sunglasses on. Lol I love the entire community and the lovely house made apartments that are very cozy!

Amazingly clean, tons of open space for the kids to play and great neighbors... Couldnt find a better place to live

I have been living here for a few months now and I absolutely love it! The location is amazing, the apartment is fantastic, and the staff is beyond what I expected. They will literally do anything they can to make sure you have what you need. I would highly recommend The Legends at Indian Springs to anyone!

I am from another state and travel often place to place for work for long periods of time. I have had my fair share of apartment living. This is by far the best place I have lived. The Management before was great ! the new Property Manager Karesa Phillips is absolutely amazing. Understanding, patient and compassionate. Exactly whats needed for such a time as this in the world. Kindness! she all of that! I am grateful!! The food Trucks has been a perfect additive to this already wonderful place to live. All I can say is THANK YOU !! and that just doesnt seem to be enough!

Parking here could damage your vehicle. The parking block rebar caused $1500 worth of damage to my car because the rebar sticking out from the parking block caught onto the undercover of my car. This is unfinished construction work. I also saw another car’s rubber leftover indicating this has happened to other people.

I have lived at the Legends for over a year. Kelly in the front office is AMAZING she is the reason we chose to live there when moving to the area. She went above and beyond in helping us with the move. Maintenance was also wonderful! The problem came after we moved when corporate sent a email threat of eviction and court proceedings. We were great tenants and did everything by the book. Even clean the apartment top to bottom when we left. Thanks corporate! A simple call, Txt or check of your own records could have made leaving so much nicer.

New management is doing a fantastic job of staying on things an making this place a wonderful place to live for the Residense. Thank you karesa a Kara!

We lived here for a little over a year and loved it! The location is phenomenal: almost nothing is more than a 15 minute drive. The staff are fabulous, especially Kelly. She was always friendly and fun to talk to. Maintenance was pretty responsive the one or two times we had to call them, and the property itself is immaculate. Our favorite thing about our apartment was all the natural light. The pricing is pretty fair for the area. Would absolutely recommend!

Wife and I lived here for 1.5 years. Left the area for a new job out of state, wish we couldve packed the apartment up and moved it too. The location is great, and conveniently located next to the Gene Snyder. The rooms are all well-lit with natural light. Staff is amazing. No issues or complaints with anything while we lived here.

I have read all reviews and feel the need to state my review. I lived at The Legends for almost 7 years. I became very ill and with medical bills and the need to go on permanent disability, I was forced to relocate.First, the complex is clean with many amenities and well maintained. The maintenance team, Brandon Cruz and men, are above reproach. The maintenance requests are quickly resolved while taking care to leave your apartment clean...if not cleaner....then when they came.Second, the office staff is phenomenal ‼️ Kelly Adams is the best. Kelly Adams is friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable in both procedures and company policies. She truly cares. When speaking with Kelly whether in person or on the telephone she gives you complete attention, taking notes and asking questions to make sure she understands your request or concerns. If Kelly is not sure of anything, shes honest and will advise you she will get the answer. What I liked best is Kelly always followed up with a phone call to make sure the resident is satisfied. You cannot go wrong dealing with her.The Legends location is perfect....close to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants.The Legends is a great place to call home. I truly wish I could still be living there.

Great communication from staff! Kelly Adams is great and gets back to me ASAP with any of my concerns and is always very kind and accommodating! :)I only moved because they removed the carpet and replaced with laminate in the apartment above me and the noise change was too much for me. Also, my electric Bill in the winter was very high for some reason and we could never figure out where despite multiple attempts from maintenance.

Thank you so much to the entire staff at Legends for making our move from Michigan 1 year ago a smooth transition. I cant say enough good things about how well organized, courteous, helpful and professional the staff has been during our transition. The community here will be one I will never forget and Legends has a way of bringing us all together to celebrate holiday,s and for those that have no family you can make this small community yours! This complex is safe, pet friendly, close to shopping and has beautiful walking trails. You cant go wrong if your transitioning and want a temporary home.

We have lived here for several years and have NOTHING but positive things to say about this complex. Rebecca and Kelly in the office are OUTSTANDING as well as Brandon on the maintenance team. Every issue that we’ve ever had was quickly and respectfully addressed. We have wonderful neighbors and are blessed to be so fortunate in our experience here. This complex also welcomes members of law enforcement which we are glad to have living so close by. We highly recommend and endorse The Legends at Indian Springs as a great place to live.

My family had moved here thinking it would be wonderful... But turns out it was the complete opposite. We had the worse neighbors EVER that lived below us. They were constantly complaining about our 2 year old daughter. They had told the office that my daughter was up screaming at 2AM and they couldnt sleep because of it. Which was very untrue. The office had contacted us telling us know the results of the neighbors complaints could lead us to getting evicted. The office offered to move is to a bottom floor apartment but we would have to pay an extra moving fee and also sign a new lease. We decided it was best to just move from the apartment complex completely. We informed the office and wrote our 2 month notice along with paying in full two months worth of rent. The office had said that our apartment was one of the most wanted apartments they had and they would like us to leave as soon as we could so they could start showing it to people but that we would not be refunded for the two months of rent because we would still be charged a percentage of the rent until they were able to find a new resident to move in. We did just as they asked. Four months later we were sent a bill saying we owe $1100... They had took our deposit of $850 also. No damage was done to the property. I have very good credit and after trying to dispute it with the Greystar they turned it into a credit bureau. I would not recommend anyone to live there.

My husband and I relocated here from Oregon and were accustomed to a particular level of Customer Service by Oregon standards, which was usually very crummy. We are very pleased with the level of attentive customer service and resources available to members. I LOVE the fact that I can have the unit sprayed for bugs (mostly beetles and crickets), at my request with the management, and that I do not have to call in a company on my own. I love how quick and responsive maintenance requests are replied to and acted on, and the quality of work when being fulfilled. Additionally when you walk into the front office or call, they are friendly and thorough and very helpful. The property is well kept and clean, and you always see the maintenance team out and about taking care of things. This is important, because they care for the property and it is obvious. Yard maintenance on the regular, garbage isnt overflowing, garbage cans for pet waste are always maintained and pet waste bags are always available. Im very happy to call this place home.

I lived at this property for multiple years and i loved everyday of it! Especially the staff and kelly adams!

Amenities are awesome, dog park, playground, walking trail, tennis courts, pool, grills, car wash port, and much more! Office staff was great, very friendly and professional. However, the noise from the paper thin, non insulated and non sound proofed walls and ceilings are a problem. I hear every footstep, every move they make, you hear it! The sound proofing is so poor quality that I would not recommend anyone live here unless they take a third floor unit or unless they deal well with hearing a heard of elephants above them constantly! My son hasnt slept through the night one time since weve been here and his noise machine is at max volume! Ive also heard to watch out for the electric bill in the winter because none of the outer walls are insulated, cant wait! Also most units are not handicap accessible, I can not even get my stroller into the apartment because it has steps and not a normal side walk going into the unit on the ground floor. None of the sidewalks have a ramp to go up, just a curb, which again is not good for strollers or wheelchairs. I have no clue how I will ever make it six months here with the noise and lack of accessibility to apartments with a stroller, and my family that is handicap cant even visit because they cant even get into the apartment due to all the steps! I also was rented an apartment that was never properly cleaned and by law you are supposed to paint, no way, no how, they ever painted, I have cob webs that are thick in every corner of every wall and every base board was the same, cob webs, cob webs, cob webs! They tried to rectify the situation by sending the cleaning lady back, who showed up forty minutes early and she did not look like anyone I would ever allow alone in my place, so I turned her away. You would think with how obvious it was that this place wasnt cleaned or painted they would be more accommodating, but they arent, they show up early waking your sleeping child and then blame you for being upset and make excuses and lie to you about why it wasnt done before you moved in. They tried to say in two weeks cob webs built up like that, if thats the case Im out of here, this place would have to be infested to get that many cob webs in two weeks, which is funny how it wasnt even available until a week ago when the previous tenant moved out, but was somehow magically cleaned and painted prior to them vacating the premises. You screwed up and now inconvenience me and my family to do what should have been done before we moved in and you make me feel like Im crazy for you coming forty minutes early!!! Please dont make excuses and lie to me, just admit this place wasnt cleaned and wasnt painted as it should be. Now I have to pay to have someone come clean because they couldnt even fix that issue properly and Im not getting on a ladder to clean when I am two weeks from delivering a baby!

UPDATE: Now that we have been here a while issues are showing. Bugs, tons of them. Mice too and also pipes that leak constantly. Faucets parts come off and they dont want to fix them. Im not staying after my lease is done. I have killed so many bugs here, its unbelievable and no my apartment is not messy. Roaches, beatles, silverfish, gnats especially this past summer. I agree on the noise issue. I can hear everything going on upstairs! Its crazy! It sounds like they are inside my own apartment. Footsteps sounds like very loud stomping. You can hear everything. For the price we are paying here I think we deserve better. Im annoyed.We are still new here but so far so good. The maintenance is great. Nice quiet neighbors and the property is very well maintained! The maintenance guy (Brandon) does a great job and he explains everything hes doing and takes his time and is very respectful. I especially like that they have trash valet, which means they go to my front door to pick up the garbage 5 days a week. I love the floors, no carpet except in bedrooms (its wood laminate ), love that I have a window in my kitchen. The office staff are great and very helpful. I think the apartments are expensive but well worth it. I feel safer here with my kids. And it is so convenient, you can walk to Aldi and other stores.

This place is nice but a little bit pricy which is ok but the management?????? My sister and her brother live there almost a year and had never pay their rent late, for the first time due to the holidays their business hours and day of operations changed therefore my sister went online to make a payment thru their website on December 31st and everything went thru fine with the confirmation # etc..etc. For some reasons the payment didnt hit her bank and the property charging them almost $200 extra for late charged and return payment fees. So I called and talk to Katie who claim that shes the assistant manager and refused to let me speak to the property manager and will not waive the late fee as a ONE TIME COURTESY. They just want to sucks every Pennies they can. If its up to me Ill not pay for it and bring it to court but my sister didnt want to dealt with it.

Solid place to live. A tad over priced. I got a second floor with a fire place... Lol the fire place was pointless for me. I felt like they could adjust the price on a whim and the saleswomen can set their own price. The place was sold to me for 950 a month but the bill was usually around 1100 lol lots of fees and stuff for trash and pest control stuff. Nice place overall. Only complaint was that when I moved out they kept telling me I needed to pay $12,000 - $13,000. I felt like they were gouging me. Eventually they stop being saleswomen and we got that resolved. Oh and I had a $750 lge bill in the winter so Idk about that lol
