Amp is the best place to live! Everyone who works there is super friendly & responsive. The building is walking distance to tons of fun things to do from eating & drinking to working out! Amp is also a pet friendly place and our pup loves it there too! :)
The property manager is good at her job, accommodating and understanding. The building maintenance guy is friendly, prompt and good at his job. Would suggest to a friend.
I recently moved into AMP apartments and absolutely love them! Walter is by FAR the best Manager I have ever had dealings with and Logan is also very kind and helpful. They are so friendly and welcoming and make sure that every need of yours is met. The location is fantastic, close to so much that makes Louisville special! The units are VERY nice and the noise has not been a problem at all. The complex is always very clean and the neighbors and friendly and respectful. I work in this industry and am a little picky about staffing and property experience. I have also been a renter for many many years and this is the most comfortable and happy I have been in my home. Thank you AMP, keep doing what youre doing!!
Recently moved into AMP Apartments and it has not disappointed. It is one of the few locations within the city of Louisville that didnt require 2 months rent up front. Amenities are really nice and other residents are extremely courteous and respectful. It is also one of the only apartment communities which offers a free bike sharing program where residents have the opportunity to use one of their bikes to commute and/or get around town. They also have a great bike storage storage area allowing for more open living space in their units. The concierge service for package delivery is also very convenient. If you have pets, AMP Apartments is rare as they do allow for cats and dogs.Of course the amenities are only surpassed by the courteous and always helpful property and facility managers, Walter and Logan. Both are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to provide such a wonderful and unique experience.Bingham Park, a quick 6 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride from AMP Apartments, offers basketball courts, a playground and picnic tables for you and your family to enjoy. If you are looking to move any time soon, I would highly recommend AMP Apartments. Nestled in the heart of the Clifton community, you are just walking/biking distance to many of the great local shops and restaurants Louisville has to offer.Which makes it very peaceful andTruly grateful for the opportunity to live in such a unique apartment community.
I have lived at Amp for four years now. I lived at other apartment complexs prior and I have never been treated so well as a resident as I have been here at amp. Walter is the best landlord I have ever had. I recently moved from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment due to needing an office for working at home. Walter went above and beyond in helping me pick the right floor plan and he made the moving day process as smooth as moving can be!! Logan has been super helpful and kind in helping me with something as small as setting up my tv. I have loved my time here at Amp and I plan on staying for a while. Thank you to Walter and Logan for everything!!
Living at AMP has been such a great experience so far. Walter and Logan are extremely professional, and always answer any questions i have. It is located in a great part of town with plenty to do in the area!
This has been the best place I have lived in since moving to Louisville! The manager, Walter is incredible to work with. Only complaint is the internet, (whichyou can upgrade) but other than that I have loved it here!
Stunning apartment homes, located near many businesses on Frankfort Avenue. Very walkable!
Weve had a wonderful experience living at AMP apartments. The units are clean, modern and flexible lease options. We love the locations easy access to downtown, Cherokee Park and the restaurants on Frankfort ave. The apartments are well built and consequently very quiet considering your proximity to each other. Most importantly, the staff have consistently responded to any maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
We have been incredibly happy with our experience at AMP. We rented from afar and Walter was so helpful in making sure the process went smoothly.Building management is friendly, professional and available. Walter and Logan take the time to get to know the residents and always ask if everything is going well.It is a professional, respectful community. We have not had any issues with noise, in fact we cant hear anything once we are in our unit. The location is prime. All of Frankfort Ave is easily walkable. Downtown, the Highlands, Cherokee, Seneca, and the waterfront are all within a 15 minute bike ride or 5 minutes by car (and never any traffic). The building is well built, well maintained, and secure. We will be in Louisville for two years and really couldnt be happier with our choice of housing for these years!
Living here has been awesome. It is kept super clean, it feels very safe, the parking lot is very clean with doggie bag stations and the lot is secluded from Frankfort Ave. Also the staff/management here are great, especially Logan, he’s awesome.
Without a doubt, management (Walter) answers all and every question that you have. From the minute I moved in, I felt right at home and its in an area where you can literally walk outside and grab a bite to eat. Ive had a wonderful experience since I moved from outside of KY. I would recommend this location to anyone.
I love living at Amp! It’s a great location and although the price point is on the high end for the square footage, it’s worth it to live right on Frankfort Avenue in a nice, new apartment. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and often leaves snacks in the lobby for guests. The units are brand new, modern and I haven’t had any major issues with any appliances. You also can’t hear your neighbors (aside from some footsteps above) which is a plus. There’s a package concierge in the lobby which is convenient and ensures packages won’t be stolen or misplaced. As many others have mentioned, I do wish there was a gym in the building and I don’t love the mandatory cable package, but it’s not a huge issue for me. Even though there’s no dog run, the neighborhood is super walkable so I can take my dog out there! Overall would recommend living here.
I recently moved to AMP apartments and love it so far. The apartments are clean and have all new everything, plus youre right on Frankfort. Walter, the property manager, has been incredibly friendly and helpful.Having looked at several apartment complexes in the area, I can honestly say AMP is the best quality for the price. I know other tenants might want a pool or gym, but complexes in 40206 with those amenities are either a complete dump and unsafe, or are $200 more per month for a comparable unit. The staff, location, and apartment features more than make up for not having a pool or a gym.Id definitely recommend AMP apartments!
I had a great experience at AMP staying in their Airbnb. I was able to conveniently enjoy the ins and outs of Frankfort Ave as well as having easy access to my work location that week. AMP is in a great location and has so many great features. I highly recommend staying here during your visit(s) to Louisville!
Ive loved living at The Amp, and so has my cat, Atlas :) The location is phenomenal: super close to bars, restaurants, and stores, but the area isnt so busy that people are loud when Im trying to sleep at night. Walter and Logan have been awesome with getting me moved in and taking care of any maintenance issues. While I would have loved to pick my own wifi provider, I havent had any major issues with the service. I love having off-street parking and bike storage and the package system is great. This has definitely been one of the nicest places Ive ever lived!
Ive lived in 9 different apartments, and even owned my own new construction house, and I can honestly say Ive never felt more at home than at Amp Apartments. The location, the staff (especially Walter!), and the perks are just too perfect.Frankfort Ave. is THE place to live in Louisville, especially if you work downtown, or within 5-10 miles of the building, because traffic is really non-existent.Amp may not have a gym, or a pool, or other things apartments in its price point flaunt, BUT the building is super secure, clean, tidy, and close to ANYTHING you could possibly need/want...and that makes up for it. The best part...the zillion restaurants within walking distance!!Theres a basic gym down the street (Fitness on Frankfort) for roughly $50/mo if thats your jam, or theres plenty of membership based fitness class gyms all within a mile or two radius (Orange Theory, Pure Barre, Crossfit, yoga, etc.).Also...if youre lucky enough to snag a garage, its totally worth the $$$. Parking is fine, but its really nice to have it reserved and a space for a guest. I lived at Amp without a garage for a few months, and while the parking lot can fill up quick after 5pm, I never ever had to park on Frankfort, as the lot is strictly enforced for residents only.If youre contemplating any other apartments in the area, STOP...you wont regret your decision to live at Amp!
Excellent apartment tucked away in the nicest corner of Louisville. The property manager (Walter) has always been super helpful and responsive.
Location! Location! Location! AMP is a great property located in one of the best areas in Louisville. I love how walk able Frankfort Avenue is. Restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques are just steps away from AMP.
My husband and I stayed in the Airbnb apartment so we could catch our early AM flight out of SDF. It was super cute, very clean, and in the best location!! The distance from the airport was ideal and it was right off a street with several awesome little dives. 100% would stay again! Effortless and perfect!
Your prices are to high and your staff, Walter included are by far some of the worst people to deal with. Walter was not very friendly. I came in and completed a tour, and he didnt have the nerve to do a handshake. If you have business to do, make sure you make people feel welcomed. If people do not feel welcomed they are not going to look at this place. If you are going to charge people something, like cable and internet, then you need to bring down the price of the rent, and work with people. You need to make sure that your residents are really wanting your services, because not everyone wants cable, and they shouldnt have to pay for that. Not everyone needs trash service, and this is not something that they should have to pay for.FIX THE PROBLEMS!!!
I love living at AMP! The staff has been super helpful and the location is awesome! A+
Great staff, beautiful building and well kept. I have ZERO complaints in that area. My problems with Amp Apartments are as follows.1. Valet Trash: Its $20 a month whether you want/need it or not. You can only put one bag out and it has to fit in THEIR special garbage can. Oh, and it cannot weigh more than 25 pounds. Violate any of these rules and expect a nasty email. Its funny, the one amenity this place DOES have charges you for it and then tells you how you can use it. As far as Im concerned - Im paying for it so Im going to use it as I see fit.2. Xiber/Dish Network: Once again, you pay for it whether you want it or not. Our receiver didnt work properly the entire time we lived there. It was never fixed nor replaced despite many attempts to tell them it was on the fritz.3. The homeless guy: He sleeps in the foyer and rather than fix the problem by adding controlled access to the outer door; you have to call someone to tell them that hes asleep in there and they will come ask him to leave. He stinks to high heaven and his stench lingers in the foyer for hours after theyve booted him.4. Price vs Amenities: Amenities...there are none. No weight room, no dog run, no lobby with coffee/refreshments. Nothing. They count the nearby bars and restaurants as amenities. We picked this place because we were on a time crunch and had little time to find a place to live. In retrospect, I would have taken more time to find a better place for the same price - of which there are plenty. My advice to the property manager: Ditch the valet garbage, build a dog run, destroy a couple of the apartments for the sake of installing a gym...even if just a small one. Its better than nothing.
I have been here since August and I absolutely love it here. the staff is fantastic and people are very courteous to others when it comes to noise. It is a very quiet, clean, and friendly environment. I will be staying here through graduate school. Also, adriane and logan are fantastic!
Way too overpriced for the amount of square footage and amenities provided, or should I say lack of amenities. There is no pool, no gym, no dog run. They recently installed a package concierge, but they could have used that money for something more useful for residents.Another problem is that new management changed their pet policy for some reason. Under old management, they allowed all breed of dog and did not discriminate against breed. But now the policy is changed to where certain “vicious” breeds are prohibited and dogs who weigh over 80 pounds. It is ridiculous. And it doesn’t help that most of the residents discriminate against my dog anyway.Another negative is you are required to pay $85 a month for cable/WiFi. I have lived here for 8 months and have never been able to get my cable to work properly. WiFi download speed sucks also. You also have to pay $20 a month for the valet trash service, even if you don’t use it. I like using the trash chute so I don’t have to wait for the trash to get collected, which means I am paying for a service I do not use and do not find useful. There is also not enough parking. Parking during late night hours almost guarantees you will have to park on the street.Overall, I would not recommend Amp apartments. The location is great, but that’s all this complex has going for them. You would think that with the exorbitant amount of rent they charge, there would be amenities, or at least functioning cable.
Staff is good (walter and logan). only complaints: xiber is not ideal, would rather have direct control over internet/cable but it suits my needs just fine. dont agree with other residents about building an in unit gym. anyone who has a fitness level beyond couch potato will have an external gym membership at any building.
Good location, next to no amenities (no gym, dog run, etc.). Only a couple of the pricier floor plans have anything more than a bedroom closet. One piece of advice to management: Ditch FiberIndy/FiberX. Ive never seen higher than 5mbps download speeds. Wouldnt be a problem if you could choose your ISP, but youre required to pay their $85/mo cable and internet package.
Would be a 5 star if they improved parking (if you park after 11 pm, you will have to find a spot on the street, which arent always available) and wifi/ISP. My devices are constantly being dropped from the WiFi, which requires me to have to re-enter my password multiple times. And because theyve changed our password so many times, I have to go back and find it to re-enter it. One of my devices has never successfully connected.
Nice apartments, great staff, convenient location.
AMP is amazing! The apartments are absolutely beautiful and the staff take great care of you! The manager Tori is so helpful with any info you may need, and the maintenance supervisor, Logan is great about responding to maintenance requests very quickly! There is also a lot of great local bars and restaurants in the area in walking or bike distance.I strongly recommend renting here. I posted a few pictures of my two bedroom to be helpful!
