I moved into my home in Spring of 2020, and I was told that I would be due for my first HVAC check up in Sept of that year. By the time September rolled around, I had long forgotten, but Danny called me, and stayed on top of making sure things get scheduled timely. The tech that came out was wonderful & I have no complaints whatsoever. Check-up #2 just rolled around, and on-the-spot, Danny called to get me scheduled.The same tech came out for routine maintenance for my furnace, and he was just as friendly and thorough as last year. So far, so good!

My air wasnt working on hot days, they told me the blower in my furnace was the issue and I could get it fixed or buy a new one. Since the furnace was old I purchased a new one. I still had the problem of not cooling so I called back and Danny who answers the phone told me well its not guaranteed after I just spent thousands of dollars. They ended up coming back out and said its your return air so they put a vent in a closet and that still didnt work. I called back when it wouldnt get below 78 degrees and Danny said I would have to pay for a service call. And now they claim my issue is my insulation and the lack of which was never seen. I finally asked if they even analyzed whether the unit was even large enough for my house and they didnt even know what size unit I had. What a complete waste of money and they have no idea what theyre doing.

I have had their service for over 7 years. They are prompt, always work me in and very customer oriented. Danny, customer relations is the best; always polite, welcoming and tries his best to help.

Our service tech explained his process, was very friendly and gave us great tips. Very reasonably priced. Signed service contract with great benefits. I highly recommend using Sterling!

Our pilot light wouldnt stay lit and we had another local company come out to troubleshoot and said we need a new furnace that would run $5,500. We called Sterling for a second opinion. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and showed us the blower motor was just clogged and dirty, he cleaned it and it was good as new. Thats just the type of people they are, they dont try to upsell you or try to sell you something you dont really need. Truly honest and professional. Definitely will never use anybody else! STERLING FOR LIFE!

Sterling has been servicing my HVAC units for several years and does and excellent job. I have 2 units and have had to make multiple service calls in the last couple of years, so I purchased an annual membership last year. Sterling contacted me to schedule my free annual service, rather than me having to remember and contact them. The appointment was made for the next day, and when the technician came out he was polite, thorough and informative.

Jeremy came out on 7/22/17 and was so polite! He got our air back up and running! What an awesome job. So respectful and nice. Definitely great service.

The folks from Sterling are nice, BUT there work at my house has not been very good, nor have they followed through with their promises. They put in AC ducts for me, but not the way I asked, so they had to come back to fix it and still left all of their debris from the work in my basement. In addition, they installed a mini-split in my upstairs. The cost was pretty high, which was somewhat expected AND they had to come back and fix it 3 times, because the drainage tube was NOT elevated enough. So I had no AC in an upstairs room in the summer. They admitted that they made a mistake with the install that caused water to back up in the unit and flood down my walls. They agreed to paint the ceiling underneath the bedroom from where the water flooded down the walls, but when presented with the bills ($100), they backed said it was not their issue. I even have witnesses including their own employees. Im disappointed and would not recommend these folks for your work.

After several estimates and research Idecided to go with Sterling. Couldnt ask for nicer guys that installed my furnace. Dwayne and Craig took pictures of what the old furnace (crawl space)looked like and then of the new one. Both of them explained what they were doing and ask if I had any concerns. Dwayne even made me a new door for under the house. Thanks guys!

Bob from Sterling Heating & Air Conditioning was able to diagnose my problem in a few minutes and was able to work on it quickly despite the work that needed to be done.He was helpful and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them.

Pleased at how adequate this company worked with my family😊 the workers name was Dwane, he was very respectful, polite, but most of all explained all services patiently, some other companies charge a service fee plus another fee for the time they spend in your home.....Not Sterling.....just one rate plus the parts. Sounds great to me....our AC was fixed a few hrs after I called and paid less than 200.00! Tnk u Sterling for your service, from the Hernandez family.

These guys are awesome, had them run out to a good friend of mine‘s house who lost her heat over the weekend. Their tech came and diagnosedthe problem, which another company had already done,found the repair part and installed it for 400 bucks less than what the other company wanted to beat me up for. The other company mentioned it might take a few days to find the part. the tech at Sterling had the whole project finished,and the house warm in under four hours. Based on the speed and professionalism of their office and their technician, I highly recommend sterling over anybody else in the Louisville area. I could not believe what the other company wanted to charge for the part that the furnace needed.It goes to show you that some companies are still honest, maintain integrity and value their customers concerns. Thank you Danny and the folks that work with you I’m highly impressed and grateful for a job well done. Your honest, and care for your customers which is more than I can say for Other companies in the area.

Sterling was too expensive .we hired another company

I had a complete system (Furnace, coil, heat pump, lineset) installed two years ago by Sterling. They have been nothing but professional with me on all aspects and were quick to fix any minor hiccups with the system. They are clearly a mom n pop business and seem to look after their clients. Definitely recommend.
